29. Describe their nighttime routine.
Lexi likes to make sure the apartment/house is clean before they head to bed. Nico typically goes into bed and journals about his day while she does that. They reconvene in bed for a few moments, snuggling into each other until Lexi is basically asleep. Nico will wake her gently to finish getting ready for bed.
Nico and Lexi do all their bathroom routine together. Sometimes Nico pops in the shower to rinse off quick while Lexi does all her oils and creams. She moisturizes his skin for him while they talk about the next day's schedule. They are so busy during the season, so they do a nightly check-in.
They both usually sleep in Nico's clothes. Lexi gave up on finding anything more comfortable a long time ago. Lexi will read a book to wind down for the night while Nico checks his socials and emails. He doesn't use his phone much during the day so this is his free time to scroll endlessly. He does this right away in the morning too to hear about back home.
Lexi always falls asleep first. Nico usually has to pull her book from her lap to save her spot. Then he turns the lights out and finishes his scrolling with one hand rubbing on Lexi's back.

#hi hey hi i really liked the first episode#it was good! they manage to put a good amount in without it feeling crammed or rushed#the food looks delicious and the characters are wonderful as ever#only thing i didnt love was the english cast#everyone was either okay or didnt really fit? at least to me#ESPECIALLY falin and senshi. my god.#but thats a small thing the japanese cast sounds great and i might go back and listen to some of the other versions#anyway! i enjoyed it#oh and the end credits!!! theyre so so so good#made me hyped to see some of the characters later in the story#chitchat#dungeon meshi#dungeon meshi anime#senshi#screenshots

He says “hey try this game I've been playing.” I say “Okay!”#I have never heard of this game. I pick the mercenary. I go through 5 min of character history and background. I am mauled to death by dogs#It took me 4 resets to even get in the dungeon. But I finally get there. I am caught by a guard. He cuts off all but one of my limbs#I am forced to crawl around in a blood and corpse pit until the game tells me 'give up idiot'.#I reset. I am mauled by dogs again. I realize this is not for me but I am intrigued enough to go home and watch some playthroughs#And WOW what an interesting game it is! I really do appreciate games that blend their design philosophy with the theme it wants to set#This is a game about fear and hunger. And persevering. And penis (my god is there a lot of penis)#I recommend this to people who like extremely challenging games and can handle the many *content warnings* within this series#If the idea of Bloodborne/eldenring and undertale having a little RPG maker baby sounds appealing to you - give it a shot#It's made by ONE GUY and it's a great horror game. I am just really bad at it.#My friends just enjoy putting me in situations where I scream and yell. We don't talk about the corn mazes. Amity Park absolutely adores her little ghostling, her little Gatekeeper who was of her own ectoplasm, reborn from her own blood in the center of her new heart. She absolutely adores her baby, practically a newborn, being only a year dead!
So of course she had to gush and boast about her little phantom to the other city spirits! They all got together to gossip sometimes after all. And both Smallville and Fawcett started to gush about their own little ones back!
Gosh they should set up a playdate at some point, her little phantom could use some friends in the mortal realm. Well some more friends, three is obviously not enough. Oh, Gotham and Bludhaven have come over as well! It’s a playdate then!
Now if only each of their world’s timelines were synced up, but at least everyone is around the same age!

here's the thing. laudna would have stopped it. if she knew delilah was about to fracture the gnarlrock. if she could parse her own feelings from hers.
and here's the thing. imogen has been plagued by nightmares for a decade. and this rock is the first bit of solace outside of her trust in laudna that she has ever had.
and laudna was just involved in shattering it. this tiny bit of solace.
and. here's the thing: laudna would've stopped it.
and. here's the thing. imogen would've stopped it. the only reason imogen didn't go is because she was specifically afraid that she would attempt to intervene and ruin their relationship with the volition before it ever began.
and here's the thing. liliana set out 25+ years ago specifically to spare her daughter. and that seemingly has not ever wavered as her core motivation. but people keep being drawn to the moon. kids keep being drawn towards the moon. and liliana is a mother. she was a mother before she ever knew she was an exaltant.
for 25+ years she has worked to "cure" imogen. the only solace she probably ever received was in at least attempting to console the kids who found themselves lured in by her same pull.
liliana begs imogen not say that they may have to kill each other. she breaks at hearing imogen's resolve. but there's kids, imogen. there's kids here. imogen. she can't leave. she's a mom.
and, here's the thing: imogen's her daughter. the daughter liliana left. or tried to leave. the daughter she only had through dreams. and imogen is working with the volition. and imogen has been her sole drive for 25+ years.
and imogen might have just been involved in shattering the little solace she might have ever had.
and, here's the thing: imogen would've stopped them.

I know the respective fandoms of DC and Miraculous Ladybug have a certain disdain for MLxDC fics but I think there's a potential for fics where Luka leaves Paris and just keeps traveling to different US cities because he keeps figuring out secret identities and he's just this 15 year old kid growing increasingly frustrated and exasperated at how badly everyone hides their identities and he just has to pretend to be oblivious even tho it's Their Fault for being Bad At Secrets and shouldn't adults be better at this??????
