YES!!!!! The anime will knock me into the sunset if they do this nicely. Rin at first got me like 😦 ‘damn bro has a mouth on him’ then I saw his little cute moments with other characters and I’m like ‘🫢 ok I see I see’ he makes me flip flop around I am a mess!!

-literally dropped Tokyo Revengers so fast when I watched the first episode of Blue Lock 😂 And I don't even like sports anime (one watch thru of Haikyuu was enough for the rest of my life) but I have a stupid amount of faith in the animation team like this shit is about soccer for crying out loud how dare they make it this good I'm offended 😂 not to mention the voice acting is on another level holy shit

I sped read the manga for sure and I need to go back and read it for the smaller details about the players and Isagi's ramblings but I uh...I spent an inordinate amount looking at/reading Ego's parts...and he recaps real good and real purdy...and I remember the Ego parts real well so....I remember a lot of the main story (⁄ ⁄>⁄ _ ⁄>⁄ ⁄) But all the sites that do english translation scans are slow to upload/bulk upload 2-3 chapters at a time so I can't read it weekly except look at the pictures and play where's waldo with my husband ಥ_ಥ

frankly, the people whose kneejerk reaction to bisan asking for a global strike form the 21st-28th is to say that it takes years to organize a general strike are really unhelpful! no one is saying otherwise, but palestine will be a smoking crater if we all wait for years to do anything - bisan is asking us to do something now. Like are we only supposed to do something if we can do it perfectly??? At some point it’s a valid critique about the work that goes into social movement, and at another point I feel like some people are just trying to absolve themselves from not putting any effort into observing a week of economic inaction.

like idk! I get it, okay! People have bills to pay that don’t magically go away for a strike, we don’t have nearly enough social infrastructure in place to support people to fully stop going to work for a week. But fuck, dude! Stop immediately responding in such a defeatist way! Cut out unnecessary purchases! Try to shop local! Put more effort into promoting Palestinian voices online! Attend a protest, call a local rep, do something!

Really hate that the queer community's response to the creation of a gender trinary (girl, boy, and nonbinary, which is still not all-encompassing) was to... reinvent the binary. We just started grouping all genders into "masc/male-aligned" and "fem/female-aligned" and it's so fucking stupid. Even with the occasional allowance of "neutral/unaligned" it still maintains the binary as the standard. And then they don't let you use certain labels if you don't have the "right" gender alignment. The fuck.
