None of our spaceships have floors like the cars on the Flintstones.
Some spacecraft already have gloveboxes for handling scientific experiments, but none of them have a place where pilots can slip their legs into sleeves that extend below the craft so they can run really fast while the craft moves forward.
It's going to be really embarrassing for humanity when we learn that every other spacefaring species figured out centuries ago that legs extending below the craft are essential for FTL travel.

The Delica D5 had an extra guide line mirror on the left hand passengers side and well as a built in camera in the main mirror. 3 camers at the front also. 2 glove compartments, 1 being a cooler box, great for these warm summer days. november 1, 1983. after an exhausting MOPs meeting that made mary feel itchy and like her skin was too small to contain her, john drives her home. the neighbor is watching dean sleep, and little sammy is curled up in his carseat, the gentle rumble of the impala soothing him to sleep. MOPs meetings were easier without a baby, she thinks. she hates the other MOPs with a passion, but when she was a kid she always wished her mom was in the PTA and this is kind of like the first step. her earrings feel too heavy for her head and she thinks they might help with the headache, so she takes them off, resting them gentle on her skirt. when the impala parks in their driveway, sammy awakes with a cry. john is already half-out of the car to go relieve the neighbor. mary doesn’t have anywhere to put her pearl earrings, so she tucks them into the glove compartment. she’ll get them later.

When I was younger there was this older cousin that was a bit of a bully and one time he tried to convince me that some broken glass he found was diamond. I didn't believe him NOT because we found it on the ground OR because it very obviously looked like broken glass but because I was a rock nerd and it didn't pass the Mohs hardness test.

I was using the glovebox yesterday, and the small airlock chamber had a broken seal. So the glovebox was constantly trying to adjust the pressure: pump air (actually just nitrogen) out, pause, pump more air out. And you can feel the pressure change through the gloves - they get tighter and looser against your skin.
I heard and felt the breath of the machine.
