Where would they take you?

Rick: When he was on a supply run he found a romantic spot looking out, a little bench where both of you could sit, he thought to himself that he would take you to watch the sun go down and star gaze of course he would make sure the place was safe first. So that afternoon he knocked on your door. You thought he had forgotten about your date . As he never said anything to you until he asked you out, he stood at your door as you opened it and smiled at him. He grabbed your hand softly and walked out of the gates with you and got into a car driving you to where you two would have the date when you got to the place. you both got out of the car he grabbed a blanket and held your hand as you watched the sunset, you two had small talk about your day and his day, the nightfell and the stars came out you both looked up seeing all of the different pictures in the sky “that, one looks like a rabbit “you pointed and he laughed, thanks for coming on the date with me

(you) thanks for asking me rick I got closer to him as he put his arm around me we locked eyes I smiled and kissed his cheek as we carried on looking up at the stars

Daryl:you two spent the date together hunting like he asked you, you got lots of rabbits, but that was it you killed walkers and blood got all over your top you didn't know but daryl did he hated himself for looking, he heard a noise and you both stopped and there it was a deer he thought to himself, that's going to be our lunch he fired his bow and it shot right through the deer's head and it fell on the floor

(you) aww daryl you looked at him and he grunted walking to the deer “help me with this”you both carried it to the car. And off home you went. In the car you looked at your clothes, shit you cried out “what's the matter? “he asked. I'm covered in blood

(daryl) you bound to get messy I said looking at her and then at the blood stain when we got home I took the deer back to hers and started to cut it and cook it, she went to go and get dressed and have a shower then the door opened “(your name) “carol called out, upstairs I called out from the kitchen

(Carol) I walked into the kitchen and Daryl was covered in blood, oh no! I said he looked at me, you aren't going on a date looking like that. Go back to mine and get cleaned up have a bath, he looked shocked by that, I stopped him from cooking shooing him out of the house “fine! “ he said in a huff

Daryl went back to carols and actually had a bath scrubbing under his fingernails washing his hair and smelling nice he walked back to (your name) house walking in and she was out of the shower wearing a top and shorts her long hair was up on a bun, “hay daryl”she said hii,

(you) dinners ready I said and he nodded “you look….. Good” I look good? He nodded seeing blush a little he turned his head away “nice”I smiled at him

After dinner daryl went to where ever he slept as you opened the door you two locked eyes

(daryl) Thanks for tonight…. It Was nice she nodded “it was “ ill see you tomorrow? She smiled at me and nodded

(you) are we getting another date? I asked and he seemed shocked by the question., That shocked he stumbled back a little

(daryl) you wanna go on another date with me? She nodded, I shrugged my shoulders alright , well we will talk tomorrow about it she nodded I moved a little close to her and pressed a quick kiss on her cheek I moved away and not looking at her I walked away, night

Negan:well he would start the day by making you breakfast walking to your room yes he broke into your house whilst you were sleeping. He would be as quiet as possible when he opened the door, seeing your sleeping body in the covers. He put the tray down and sat on your bed moving. Some of your hair away from your face, he called your name softly as. You started to wake up, as you woke up you shot up in shock covering your body he laughed

(you) Negan! what the hell? “made you breakfast “he would say before you could even shout at him you smiled. thanks he nodded getting up and walking out your room, you huff eating and getting ready for the day you went down stairs and he was waiting for you in the living room. When you came into the room he wasted no time in whisking you. Away walking outside with you and into his car driving off you would ask questions to where he was taking you and he would just say wait and see you huff in no time you were there, in the middle of nowhere…..

(negan) He got out and opened the door for you. The weather was nice and sunny, the sky was blue and it was quiet today. He bought a blanket and threw it over the car and jumped onto the front helping you up, so you two just lied there talking and talking as your head rested on his chest and his hand. Wrapped. Around you stroking your arm it was nice just to talk and be normal. Usually you were surviving and forgot how nice it was to talk, you told him about your life and about how good you got it now. He told you stuff about his life before and now, he got off of the car and helped you down he took you home and cooked you dinner as you set the table, lighting the candles you ate and talked more after dinner you both washed up and he went home after you two cuddled upstairs in your bed

Simon: he would get you in your own with him by taking you out of the sanctuary, he likes to do crazy stuff so you two started to kill walkers at random and count he won you, which pissed you off, but you let it go you went back to the sanctuary and got ice cream and played darts in his room which he enjoyed standing behind you. You won him in that game then you two sat on his bed he pulled out some chocolate you smiled at him as you both ate the chocolate when it came to night he took you to the gardens it was cold so he got one if his jackets and wrapped you in it like a baby and held you to his body, you wasn't complaining at all he sat you in between his legs his head resting on you shoulder he told you how he felt about you and asked you to be his girlfriend you if course said yes you felt him smile,

Glenn:it was night time and glenn was out that day and he found marshmallows he opened up your tent and woke you up, which wasn't smart you jump out of your skin and nearly cut him with your knife when you realised it was him you smacked him, not hard but on the shoulder he said he was sorry for scaring you and then he showed you the pack of marshmallows you smiled and got out if your tent and sat near the fire toasting marshmallows as he covered both of you with a blanket just in case you got cold you two whispered to each other about both of your days. You would tell him how you helped cooked dinner for the group and chatted with Carol, he would tell you about how nervous he was about this date you kissed him on the cheek and he blushed, you had your marshmallow and went to bed

Abraham:your first date with Abraham was just you two on watch but you both got called down and someone else took both of your shifts. You went back to his and drank alcohol and told stories. You played cards with him as you both sat down near the fire. When was your first kiss? He asked you

(you) I was 14.i smiled on a cinema date you laugh at the memory it wasn't good the guy who I was with totally missed my lips went to my cheek and then found my lips it was wet…., he laughed hard at that

(Abraham) wow mine was at a school trip and was a dare if I didn't do it the dare was for me to get naked and swim In the lake with the teachers watching no thanks

You two carried on talking and drinking until you both passed out on the floor both of you waking up with sore heads in the morning but it was a great night

Paul Monroe “jesus”:he would get you out of a meeting with gregory to go on a date with him so he walked you to the training patch, he knew that it would be fun to train with you, you changed into something comfy

(you) what is this? I asked he smiled taking his long coat off

(jesus) well I'm going to teach you how to fight you have always said that you wanted to learn so I'm going to teach you, I say picking up one of the kicking pads. Now kick me…..

(you) I never thought that I'll be doing this on our first date but alright, you swung your leg up high to kick the pad which you did perfectly, you did some kicks then that's when he put the pad down “OK tackle me” so you did you threw yourself at him and rolled around in the dirt on the floor you pinned him sitting on his lower parts, he smiled up at you. Ah pinned you, uh…, a little grunt came out of your mouth as he rolled you over you was on top of him again and then it was him he pinned you down again. With your legs over his he held your arms above your head and looked deep into your eyes

(you) I looked into his eyes his head resting on mine, yeah looks like you do I move a little lifting up to his lips he smiled at you until both of your heard Gregory's voice you rolled your eyes as he got off of you and helped you up, you thought he would have let go but he didn't he guided you passed gregory to his room he opened the door and on the floor was chocolates, flowers, food, cakes and apple pie you two ate and talked and talked and talked

Dwight:You were shocked at how romantic he was. He led you into one of the big halls in the sanctuary by your hand. He twirled you around and you placed your hands on both of his shoulders. He smiled at you as you two ate, chips and burgers, yes burgers, your favourite food ever! And for dessert was a chocolate fudge cake you ate and so did he making small talk and then, you watched the night go by you felt his fingers brush your mouth “chocolate “he said with a little smile you blush from embarrassment, “this is the best date ever “you said, really? You nodded he felt happy knowing it was the best because it meant everything to him finding that one person and he is so happy that he found you

King ezekiel:You two had a candlelit dinner with soft music playing in the background. You talked and after that you danced, slow danced, then. You two went to watch a show in the theatre he gave you a red rose told you, you looked beautiful you blushed he was blew away from how beautiful you were the light of the night made your eyes shine you blushed from his comment you told him that he looked handsome he smiled at you then after the show he walked you back home you kissed him on the cheek heading inside of your house he was. Apocalyptic | Daryl Dixon |

Chapter 1

I'm laying in ricks room trying to take a nap when I hear the door slam open I immediately jump up grabbing my gun from under my pillow pointing it towards the open door

"Lori!" I hear someone shout it sounds familiar I walk out quietly hiding behind a wall

"Carl!" I hear someone shout again....rick? No it can't be I think to myself starting to tear up at the possibility when I hear the footsteps get closer I put my guard back up and swiftly move out from behind the wall pointing my gun straight ahead

"Alex..." I see no other than my brother standing in a open gown with bandages around his stomach, holy shit

"Rick...Rick!" I drop my gun running to hug him

"Oh thank god your ok" he says beginning to cry hugging me harder than ever

"Me, thank god your ok I've been here waiting for you for months" I say also crying pulling back to cup his face seeing it's really him we both smile

"What's happening...where's Carl and Lori" he says sniffling

"Well it's kinda hard to explain the dead have rose basically and Lori and Carl went with Shane I stayed back knowing if you woke you'd come here" I say still smiling at him wiping his tears away

"We-we gotta find them" he say worriedly

"I know I know and we will ok?" I say holding his shoulders looking him in the eyes he nods back at me hugging me one more time

"Let me just pack up and we'll go" I say eager to find my nephew but not knowing if I'm prepared to go out into the world I barely can fight off the stragglers that come through here or come out when I scavenge and I definitely don't have enough rations for two people let alone medical supplies for Rick

"Shit" I sigh out but pack what I have and put my gun in the back of my jeans, when I hear something from outside

"Daddy! Daddy! I got the sumbitch I'm gonna smack him dead" I hear the last part and run out seeing Rick on the ground a kid with a shovel standing over him

"Hey what the hell!" I yell pulling my gun out but not aiming at the kid he looks at me confused to see another person when I'm assuming to be his dad comes over shooting a walker in the head running over seeing me

"Hey who the hell are you?" He questions putting his kid behind him

"I live here who the hell are you and why'd your kid hit my brother" I say on guard

"Your brother" he says looking over at Rick seeing he's not a walker

"Shit look we're sorry ok Duane say your sorry" he says looking towards his kid, backing up from my brother I run over kneeling down seeing if he's ok

"I'm-I'm sorry" the kid stutters out

"Hey Rick you good?" I say grabbing his face looking in his eyes he just mumbles at me when I hear a gun cock behind me, fuck

"What's his wound" the older man says I look back at him

"He was in the hospital in a coma, he got shot" I say putting my hands up trying to diffuse the situation

"And you how come I've never seen you here when we've been here this whole time" he says shaking slightly

"What can i say I keep to myself" I say a little angrily I look back at my brother to see him passed out

"Fuck, you guys live around here right? Can you help him...please" I add looking at Rick passed out, the man comes over and looks at him for a second before dropping the gun

"Fine come on" he says motioning to help him with Rick so I do lifting him slinging his arm over my shoulder groaning

"This way, Duane lead the way" the man huffs out the kid looks at me suspiciously but leads us to there house regardless. When we get there we set Rick on the bed to rest I roll my shoulders sore from carrying him

"I never got your name" the man sighs out motioning me to follow him to the kitchen

"Alexis" I say hesitantly

"Morgan and this is my son Duane" he says pointing his finger towards the kid from earlier sitting down at the table

"Thanks...for uh taking us in" I say smiling half assed at Morgan he just nods back

~~~time skip~~~

It's been a couple hours I've been checking on Rick on and off and so has Morgan cleaning his wound, I explained to Morgan the past few months and our plan to find our family he didn't say much in return

"Dinner" Morgan says to me and Duane we both get up and head to the table sitting down when my brother comes out

"Hey Rick you ok?" I question going to help him walk but he waves his hand for me to stay seated so I lower myself back on the seat waiting for him to talk

"Yeah I'm ok...thank you..." he says waiting for them to say there names

"Morgan and Duane" Morgan says sitting down also

"You shot that man today" Rick sighs out how confused he must be I think sadly

"It wasn't no man" Duane says defensively

"What the hell was that out your mouth just now?" Morgan says looking at the kid I smile lowly at the father son relationship

"It wasn't a man" he corrects himself

"You shot him in the street out front- a man" ricks says getting more aggravated

"Rick it wasn't a man ok it was a walker member I told you dead rose, video game style" I say looking up at him sorry to break the bad news

"She's right, now come on sit down before you fall down" Morgan says pointing towards the chair next to me I smile a little at his words Rick complies sitting down Morgan serving us some food I go to eat not having a hot meal in forever when they hold hands to pray Morgan reaching his hand to me

"Oh ok" I say quietly going along with it even though I was never religious and definitely now more than ever isn’t

"Lord we thank you for this food, thy blessings, and we ask you to watch over us in these crazy days amen" Morgan says looking up at me and Rick

"Amen" Duane says, I go to eat almost moaning at the feel of food in my mouth Rick smiling smally at me. After dinner we all sit in one of the bedrooms relaxing when we hear a car going off I'm immediately on guard looking at the window and I'm not the only one as Duane freaks out a little

"It's nothing one of them must've bumped a car" Morgan reassures the kid

"You sure?" rick asks I look at Morgan wondering the same thing

"It happened once before, it went on for a few minutes...get the light Duane" Morgan says me, Rick and him going to look out the window

"It's the blue one down the street, the same one as last time, I think we're ok" Morgan says me and Rick looking out the window carefully, damn there's a lot out there tonight I think to myself

"That noise won't it bring more of them?" Rick questions

"Nothing we can do about it now just have to wait them out till morning" I say sighing noticing Duane come in the room and peak out the window

"She's here” he says gasping I look at him confused

"don't look. Get away from the windows....i said go, go on" Morgan says when he won't leave, I look out to see a woman walking towards the house, what the hell? Duane goes in the other room crying

"Duane, Duane quiet now come on" Morgan goes over and hugs him trying to keep him quiet that must be someone important I think sadly looking at them, me and Rick go and sit back down as the door knob rattles

“She uh…she died in the other room on that bed, there was nothing I-i could do about it, that fever man her skin gave off a heat like a furnace, I should’ve-I should’ve put her down man I should’ve put her down I know that but I- you know I just didn’t have it in me she’s the mother of my child” Morgan says crying silently I almost tear up at the sadness of it

“I’m so sorry Morgan” I say truthfully looking at Duane he just smiles smally through his tears

The leader of the dead - is a story of a new group in town called the "skyscrapers" known for their big gated community, and being the strongest group ever, no one ever sees them coming, not even negan, will she join rick acts of kindness and share. Or will she take it all. Without any regrets. it takes more than a gun to take her down. (Love interest Rick)

Ths bat and the bird is about - daryl dixon and Victoria Patterson being the complete opposite of each other. It's enemies to lover and sunshine to grumpy trope. Takes place during season 4-5 which ends with Victoria being stuck with daryl and beth in the middle of nowhere, the story brings out love, drama and chaos.

Rick grimes:He thought you were a sweetheart. He watched you help out so many people and he fell for you. He never heard you say no to anyone if someone asked you'll be right there he loved spending time with you he would check on you chill at your house see you talk with Carl he will even ask Carl what he thought about. When he heard nothing but nice things he knew he couldn't let you go

Daryl dixon:He liked you, you never got on his nerves like some people do.You would help him with little things, go on runs with him, hell he would even ask you to come along he would ask you to jump on his bike giving the excuse. Saying that it would be much easier to get around in.and faster to get back when really he likes feeling your hands wrapped around him tight

Negan:after he killed your friends he couldn't get you out of his head the journey back to the sanctuary took longer than he thought it would his never felt bad for killing anybody before well anybody who deserved it Simon told him not to feel back but he couldn't help it something about seeing how upset you were broke his heart days after he still felt shit so he had to go and see you

Simon:He was annoyed, well mostly not at you but he felt like he had to babysit you most days because Negan put you with him but he did kinda like you the long trips you two would take on the road was comfortable he would ask you questions about everything and anything. He did make it clear that he wouldn't risk his life for you, but that day you hurt yourself something changed inside of him he never wanted to see you hurt again he let himself care for you but he didn't want you to know how much he did actually like you

Glenn: you knew how he felt you two were close in the early days he would teach you how to fix the RV if ever he was about or Dale. you would know what to do as you worked away he would tell you that you are doing good and some of your friends joked that he had a crush on you he would just stutter on his words and go red you would smile at him he didn't look at you that day

Abraham:as I said before he thought you were a badass but as the weeks turned into months he was more comfortable around you he would joke around with you talking in his very colourful language he thought a girl like you would hate how he spoke but you laughed until you cried which made him smile, he put it on his check list that once a day he would make you laugh and he did

Paul monroe “jesus”:he was very fond of you to say the least when he was home from a run, he would only be with you, you two was two peas in a pod he thought you were clever you would teach him things like play the piano but he would make mistakes here and there because he would be watching you, sometimes you would catch him and he would just smile at you and turn away you felt your cheeks get hot but carried on teaching him to play

Dwight:he saw you as a friend to start off with you two would just talk about how shit things were but that changed he could always count on you being there with him no matter what if he was going out for a pick up he would always stop by your room to ask if you needed anything if you did he would get it to you. negan would always say that he was your puppy because he followed you around like one but he liked it how you always told negan to shut up you would even joke that dwight was your puppy patting him on the head and you actually got a laugh out of him

King ezekiel:his always liked you how you looked how you was so, kind to everyone you always tried your best to like everyone and he saw that you fitted in perfectly as time went by you two spent time together going for walks around the kingdom with Shiva you always found him interesting I mean you've never met anyone who had a pet tiger before he would always compliment you saying that you looked beautiful that day you would thank him saying he looked nice that day to he would smile

there's only one rule in the new world… survive.

In which best friends Daphne Ayala and Glenn Rhee form a ring of survivors that would pave the way for the new world.

** This story will eventually have a Rick Grimes romance (SLOW BURN) but focuses on Daphne's story after the fall. It may deviate from the events of the tv show and at times won't follow a specific script or season. There will be switching POVs (Characters/1st/3rd Person).

chapters!

prologue —

in the present time, rick grimes experiences what hell on earth truly is.

chapter one ; partners —

unbeknownst to them, best friends glenn rhee and daphne ayala spend the last 48 hours of normalcy they’ll ever have before their lives are changed forever.

chapter two ; the evacuation —

the statewide evacuation is underway and it goes terribly wrong terribly fast. daphne and glenn undergo an impromptu rescue mission and soon their group of two becomes a group of 5.

chapter three ; the group —

it's been a month since the complete collapse of civilization. when daphne and glenn realize this is their new way of life, they begin to strategize the best ways of survival. along with the new members of the group, they fall into a steady routine, until a one-sided fight breaks out and everything is knocked out of order.

chapter four ; the idiot in the tank —

a supply run goes wrong and daphne finds herself reunited with an old acquaintance. old feelings unwillingly resurface but she forgets one big glaring problem back at camp.

chapter five ; maneater --

glenn and rick try out a new technique in order to survive and reunite with the rest of the group. back at camp, daphne and shane reach an understanding.

chapter six ; love rectangle —

rick confides in daphne for reasons unknown to her. as she offers him counsel, daphne is also grappling with conflicting feelings of her own.

chapter seven ; chef boyardee —

the plan goes wrong. daphne and glenn find themselves in a precarious situation but at least they have each other, right?

rick’s pov (chapter six)

Important Character Info:

Daphne Ayala. She's a 23-year-old Latina woman who's working towards becoming a detective (hopefully for the FBI or some higher agency one day). As part of her training, she has to complete a few years of service in whatever local police department has an opening. You can see where this is going right? Her best friend is Glenn Rhee, with whom she shares an apartment with, and they're practically attached at the hip.

Rick Grimes has been aged down a bit though his actual age was never mentioned in the show. I imagine he's around 29, nearing 30 at the beginning of season 1. That would make Carl 9 years old (rather than 12 as he was in the show).

Apocalyptic | Daryl Dixon |

Chapter 3

"Hey you alive in there?" The voice questions I pick up the radio quickly

"Hello? hello?" I ask urgently

"There you are you had me wondering" the man says relived

"Where are you? Outside? Can you see us right now?" Rick says grabbing the radio from me

"Yeah I can see you, your surround by walkers, that's the bad news" the radio cackles

"There's good news?" Rick says back

"No"

"Well that's great" I sigh out

"listen whoever you are I don't mind telling you we're a little concerned in here" ricks says getting agitated

"Oh man, you should see it from here you'd be having a major freak out" the man over the radio says, that's helpful i think to myself rolling my eyes

"Got any advice for us?" He questions hopelessly

"Yeah, I'd say make a run for it" he says I grab the radio angrily

"That's it? Make a run for it?" I grit out

"My ways not as dumb as it sounds you've got eyes on the outside here, there's one geek still up on the tank but the others have climbed down and joined the feasting frenzy where the horse went down, you with me so far?" He asks

"So far" I say back

"Okay the street on the other side of the tank is less crowded, if you move now well there distracted you stand a chance, got ammo?" He questions

"In that duffel bag I dropped out there and guns can I get it?" I reply back

"Forget the bag ok? It's not an option what do you have on you?" He asks

"Hang on" I drop the radio going to grab the gun Rick got from the army dude checking its clip theres only 15 rounds...shit I sigh going to check the army man's body when I find a Grenade oh hell yeah I think handing it to Rick going back over to the radio picking it up

"I've got a Beretta with one clip, 15 rounds" I say worriedly

"Make em count, jump off the right side of the tank keep going in that direction, there's an alley up the street maybe 50 yards be there." The man says back

"Hey what's your name?" I ask curiously

"Have you been listening? Your running out of time" he says rushed, right I think to myself I let go of the radio looking over at Rick

"You ready?" I say looking at him nervously

"As ready as I can be" he says also nervous I grab a baseball bat and give Rick the gun sense he's worse at killing walkers I go to open the top of the tank I take a deep breathe before pushing it open I look out and see the walker at the top swinging at it making it fall to the ground I push myself out looking back to make sure Rick gets out, we head down the tank jumping off at the bottom I immediately jump into action swinging at walkers rick shooting them, we're heading down the street when I go to swing at someone in an alley

"Not dead! Come on! come on!" I stop mid swing running down the alley with him Rick trailing behind watching our backs

"Come on!" The man says climbing up a ladder i go up first rick still shooting

"What are you doing come on!" I say looking down at Rick he runs out of ammo throwing the gun starting to climb once we get halfway we take a break I look Down seeing how many walkers there are

"Holy shit" I sigh out of breath

"Nice moves there Clint Eastwood" the man says looking at me I smirk

"You the new sherif riding in to clean the town up?" The man asks Rick I huff a chuckle out

"It wasn't my intention" Rick says out of breath

"Yeah whatever yeehaw, your still dumbasses" the man says rolling his eyes

"Rick, Alex, thanks " rick pants out going to shake the man's hand

"Glenn, your welcome" he says shaking ricks hand

"Uh guys pause the love fest for a second" I say pointing towards the walkers starting to climb Glenn goes to the ladder looking how far up it is

"Bright side, it'll be the fall that kills us" he says looking at me

"What a nice bright side" I say smiling sarcastically Glenn smiles back as we all start to climb. After what feels like forever we get to the top walking over a board to the next building over

"Are you the one that barricaded the alley?" Rick asks

"Somebody did-I guess when the city got overrun, whoever did it was thinking not many geeks would get through" Glenn says as we start to run over to a ladder down into a building Glenn opens the top throwing his backpack into it

"Back at the tank, why'd you stick your neck out for us?" I say looking at him suspiciously considering we still only just meant

"Call it foolish, naive hope that if I'm ever that far up shit creek somebody might do the same for me, guess I'm an even bigger dumbass than you guys" he says climbing down the ladder I look down smirking and start to climb down, when we get to the bottom we run through a exit climbing down some stairs

"I'm back, got two guests plus four geeks in the alley" Glenn says into a walki-talki we reach the bottom of the stairs to see walkers roaming I start to panic when some people with bats come out killing them

"Let's go!" Glenn shouts me and Rick running after him into a metal door

"Morales let's go!" Glenn shouts looking back at the man in amour with a bat swinging at the walker, he runs over closing the door swiftly

"You son of a bitches we outta kill you" I look up to see a gun pointed at me and Rick by some blonde lady

"Just chill out Andrea, back off" Glenn says trying to diffuse the situation

"Come on ease up" morales says taking off his armor

"Ease up? Your kidding me, right? We're dead becuase of these stupid assholes" Andrea says angrily

"Andrea, I said back the hell off" morales saying coming up to her she thinks for a moment before dropping the gun starting to tear up

"We're dead-all of us becuase of you guys" she says frustrated

"I don't understand" Rick says confused

"Look, we came into the city to scavenge supplies you know what the key to scavenging is? Surviving! You know the key to surviving? Sneaking in and out, tiptoeing not shooting up the streets like it's the o.k. Corral" morales says pushing us into a hall way leading us into a department store shoving us towards the windows

"Every geek for miles around heard you popping off rounds" he says gesturing to the hoard of walkers outside

"You just rang the dinner bell" Andrea adds

"Get the picture now?" Morales asks annoyed I look at the window scared seeing the glass start to crack under there weight but then one grabs a rock and starts smashing the glass

"Oh god" I say us all backing up

"What the hell were you doing out there anyway?" Andrea asks us

"Trying to flag the helicopter" Rick's says

"Helicopter man that's crap there ain't no damn helicopter" some guy with a do rag on his head says

"You were chasing a hallucination imagining things it happens" another lady with short black hair says

"We saw it" I snap not liking feeling crazy

"Hey, t-dog try that c.b. Can you contact the others?" Morales tells the man with the walki-talki

"Others, the refugee center?" I question

"Yeah the refugee center they've got biscuits waiting in the oven for us" the short haired girl says sarcastically which makes me roll my eyes

"Got no signal, maybe the roof" t-dog suggests when we hear a shot from above

"Oh no is that Dixon?" Andrea says freaking out a bit everyone starting to head for the stairs

"Come on let's go" Glenn says following the group up the stairs to the roof, when we reach the top I see a blading grey haired man shooting a rifle

"Hey Dixon are you crazy?!" Morales yells, the man continues shooting

"Hey! Y'all be more polite to a man with a gun!" He looks back yelling over at us

"Huh only common sense" he says dropping down from the ledge he was on

"Man you wasting bullets we ain't even got! And you're bringing even more of them down on our asses! Man, just chill" t-dog yells running over angrily

"Hey! Bad enough I got this taco-bender on my ass all day now I'm gonna take orders from you? I don't think so bro that'll be the day" the man with the gun says

"Oh great a racist" I mutter to Rick already hating the man

"That'll be the day, you got something you wanna tell me?" T-dog questions

"Hey t-dog man just leave it it ain't worth it, now Merle just relax, ok?" morales sighs out

"You want to know the day?" Merle ignores him continuing

"Yeah" t-dog stands up taller

"I'll tell you the day, Mr."yo" it's the day I take orders from a nigger" Merle says but before he can even finish t-dog attacks him but Merle's to strong he punches him back almost knocking him to the ground

"Dixon!" Andrea says trying to stop it, rick goes over to help but Merle just punches him in the face making him fall back

"Oh hell no" I mutter out seeing this asshole hurt my brother going over to him but when I get there Merle slams t-dog against a pole him groaning in pain on the ground every one rallies around trying to stop him but when he pulls out a gun and points it at t-dog we all pause

"Yeah! All right!" Merle says on top of him spitting on him

"We're gonna have ourselves a little powwow, huh? Talk about who's in charge I vote me anybody else?" He continues getting off of him

"I vote no you racist piece of shit!" I yell at him he turns around pointing the gun at me now

"And who is this fine piece of ass?" He says smirking licking his lips I visibly recoil in disgust, well he's focused on me they pull a groaning t-dog away from under Merle

"Don't talk to my sister like that" Rick comes up behind Merle punching him to the ground handcuffing him to a pipe dragging him upwards by his shirt

"Who the hell are you man!" Merle says slightly scared

"Officer friendly" Rick says sarcastically going to grab his gun discarded on the ground unloading the clips in it

" look here Merle, things are different now there are no niggers anymore no dumb-as-shit inbred white-trash fools ether only dark meat and white meat theres us and the dead, we survive this by pulling together not apart" rick finishing his speech reloading the gun

"Screw you man" Merle replies

"I can see you make a habit of missing the point" Rick smiles looking at him harshly

"Yeah we'll screw you twice" Merle spits out at Rick

"Ought to be polite to a man with a gun only common sense" Rick grits out pressing the gun into Merle's head cocking it

"You wouldn't your a cop" Merle says but I can tell he's slightly scared

"All I am anymore is a man protecting his sister and looking for his wife and son, anybody that gets in the way of that is gonna lose I'll give a moment to think about that" Rick says looking Merle dead in the eyes, reaching into his pocket he finds coke he grabs his face looking up his nose

"Got some on your nose there" Rick says flicking his nose

"What are you gonna do? Arrest me?" Merle says laughing but stops when he sees Rick starting to walk towards the edge of the roof throwing the coke off the building

"Hey! What are you doing? Man, that's was my stuff!" Merle shouts angrily

"Hey!" He grunts trying to get lose from his handcuffs

"If I get lose you'd better pray-yeah you hear me you pig?!" Merle shouts over to Rick as he walks over to the ledge, me and morales start walking over

Yeah your voice carries!" I shout back annoyed

"You're not Atlanta p.d, where you guys from?" Morales questions

"Up the road a ways" rick sighs out

"Well officer friendly and officer friendlies sister from up the roads a way, welcome to the big city" morales says looking towards all the walkers down below

"God, it's like Times Square down there" Andrea sighs out as we come over towards the group

"How's that signal?" Rick questions

"Like dixons brain-weak" t-dog says looking towards Merle which makes Merle flip him off

"Keep trying" morales says

"Why? There's nothing they can do not a damn thing" Andrea says looking at me and Rick still blaming us I roll my eyes wanting to say something but bit it back watching her walk away

"Got some people outside the city is all, there's no refugee center" morales says looking at Rick

"Then she's right we're on our own it's up to us to find a way out" Rick sighs looking back towards me

"Goodluck with that these streets ain't safe in this part of town from what I hear, ain't that right sugar tits?" Merle smirks looking at me

"Oh pets names hm what would yours be let me think....small dick? Yeah small dick fits you" I say smiling sweetly at him his smile drops gritting his teeth

"What about under the streets? The sewers?" Rick says to morales looking at Merle harshly

"Oh man...hey Glenn check the alley you see any manhole covers?" Morales ask Glenn

"No, must be all out on the street where the geeks are" Glenn says

"Maybe not, old building like this built in the 20s-big structures often had drainage tunnels into the sewers in case of flooding down in the sub basements" I say looking at them they stare at me confused

"How do you know that?" Glenn asks

"I payed attention in school" I say shrugging

"Ok well let's go then" rick says heading towards the stairs

"Hey what about me!" Merle yells

"T-dog stay with him" Rick says t-dog groaning but nodding
