Maybe my baby boy Gerard Pitts his S/O asking if they can paint his nails? I just think it’s be so cute. 🥹

ohohoh how i love this and him :( will always have a soft spot for pittsie

i imagine he'd be in your room, watching you as you painted your nails n he's just so impressed by it ? you don't even have to be the neatest at doing it (and god knows that i'm not) - like they could be so messy and he'd still be in awe. when you look up and catch him staring at you like :o you tease him a little about how hypnotised he seems by the whole thing then ask if he wants his nails painted too - only half joking. but when he says yes, oh boy are you excited. you have to flap your own hands around for a few minutes until your own polish has dried enough, not wanting to smudge it or get any onto his skin while your holding his hand, and he just laughs at the motion n copies it claiming he's practicing :( he loves it so much, too (especially cause it gives him ample opportunity to stare at your focused face even more)

Okay, so for the Sweet 'n Spicy Saturday... I am the type of person who makes noises to convey emotions. Like, instead of words sometimes (not all the time). I squeak when I'm startled or flustered, and I have different little "mmmm" sounds depending on the emotion. (My annoyed one sounds a lot different from my excited one, I promise you.) It might have something to do with my autism, it might not, I don't really know. But I feel like if I was dating Gerard Pitts, he would just... get it? If that makes sense?

I'm sorry, this is weird, you don't have to answer this (😅😅). Either way, I hope you're doing well, my Bumblebee!! 🖤🖤🖤

no he would SO get it!! after a couple of months of dating he becomes so accustomed to it, and he's able to understand you perfectly, not even thinking anything of it. getting to hear your excited 'mmm's, especially as a consequence of something he's done, makes him ecstatic, and he'll do anything to hear it again!

he always quickly tunes on to your annoyed mmm's, quickly shutting down whoever has done something to annoy you. the others are actually pretty impressed by how well pitts knows you at this point?

i think he'd also be pretty similar in some ways, having hums of various tones when he can't be too bothered to voice his emotions, so he likes to know that someone else understands, and that you guys can communicate well without even having to properly speak to one another!!!

it's also not at all weird raven darling,, don't feel the need to apologise!!! i love hearing abt everything and anything i promise you,, and i loved writing this just so much. take care of yourself raven love,, and thanks for sending this in!!!

You yelped as flour fell on your arm “Pittsie!!” you looked up at his tall frame with wide eyes and mouth open in shock “You are so dead!” you dived your fingers into the flour bag before throwing the contents of your hand on him.

Baking with your boyfriend was a good idea at first. He always made amazing cinnamon rolls you could have a bellyache by dint of eating too much, so the thought of cooking some with him as a date seemed obvious.

But saw how it started as a battle of food, you weren’t going to bake much.

When Gerard was taking a handful of flour, you decided to grab the cinnamon “That’s not equal sweetheart” he warned, not wanting to be covered in the brown powder.

“Well you’ll smell nice” you said as you feint to attack him. But now that your little joke was over you weren’t paying attention anymore and Pitts took advantage of it. He spread out his arm, his covered-in-flour hand grabbed your face, his fingers squeezing your cheeks.

You tried to escape from his grip but couldn’t, so you extended your own arm to squish his cheeks back, tinting them with the cinnamon powder.

Gerard let out a choked laugh “You look silly like that” he said, squeezing your cheeks harder. “So do you” you retorted, fingers digging further into his skin. After a minute, you both broke into laughter and released the other’s cheeks.

You rubbed your now sore face with a light giggle and Gerard did the same. When he saw the small print of his fingers on your skin his eyes widened “Oh, sorry” he said before leaning forward, kissing your cheek tenderly. When he pulled away he pecked your lips before dropping a kiss on your other cheek.

You wrapped your arms around his neck, standing on your tippy toes “I need one more and you’re forgiven” Gerard let out a laugh before bringing his lips to yours, but he didn’t stop at one peck.

ship: i’m going to say i’d ship you w pitts (mostly for all the fun you guys would have just like.. doing things together (‘: )

hcs:

you and pitts would most certainly not really acknowledge each other’s existences at first. not really in a bad way, you were just never formally introduced to him like the rest of the poets.

because of this, you’d probably wonder why he never came over to introduce himself when you were so obviously sitting there quietly being part of the group

the reason for this, though, was that he just thought you were really cute and he’s so awkward around pretty people, so he saves himself the embarrassment by not talking to you

charlie talks to him and gives him some interesting tips so the next time you guys see each other, he sits next to you and after about twenty painful minutes of him summoning the courage, he turns to you and says “hi, i’m gerard. the boys call me ‘pitts’” and would hold his hand out, which you’d shyly shake

but once you guys got past that semi-awkward talking stage, you both opened up pretty easily

you’d always make little gifts or knick knacks for the poets, sneaking the gifts into their rooms where they’d always find them when they were least expecting

you would definitely have been friends with meeks before anyone else because you both care a lot about school

you’d get along really well with cameron, too, because of your academic track record and you seemed to be the only one apart from his idiot friends to take school (mostly) seriously.

baking with neil !!! he was hopeless at it, but just liked to be included (you’d pretty much only let him lick the spoons or set timers for you because he most definitely added way too much leavening at one point in a batch of chocolate chip cookies)

you and todd would like to go to museums together (once you started seeing pitts, he’d always tag along, but leave you and todd mostly to yourselves because pitts was pretty far-removed from things pertaining to art)

you and charlie would sometimes butt heads because his personality was a lot for a shy person like yourself to handle, but you never clashed hard enough to cause any ripples in your relationships or friend group (:

also– baking with pitts !! who is surprisingly skilled in all things having to do with a kitchen. he really liked being creative, drafting outlandish recipes with you that somehow always tasted great ((:

there would most certainly be a week where you’d try to teach all the poets how to crochet, but gave up after three days because charlie said it was “too hard,” cameron and meeks didn’t have time because they had “to study,” and neil and pitts’ hands were just too clumsy and big to deal with small needles/yarn/or thread.

todd would approach you later, though, asking if you could still teach him because he found it soothing (:

your first date with pitts would be simple, but sweet. he asked you to be ready with tennis shoes on at 8a.m. on a saturday, which you found to be an odd request since you had zero clue what he could possibly be planning, but when you opened your door to leave, he was just about to knock,

“oh, you’re just on time,” you said quietly, smiling up at him (this boy is tall as fuck ok).

“of course i am,” he’d return the smile and hold his arm out for you to link your arm through his.

“where are we going?” you asked, linking his arm with yours.

“well… hold on,” he had a very slight mischievous look in his eyes, and he’d walk you out to the grounds, “i… remembered how much you like to hike, and i begged dr. hager to drive us somewhere, but he refused, so i thought maybe we could just um… walk around the grounds a bit… maybe a little further out from campus, but just like… it’s just… we’re just going on a walk,” his voice fell a little toward the end of his sentence, feeling like it was lame, but you thought it was the most endearing thing in the world.

“i love that,” you’d beam up at him.

“really?” he’d ask, looking down at you hopefully,

“really,” you’d smile even bigger. you two would start walking, taking your sweet time (pitts was a pretty slow walker in general, but he wanted to extend the time he got to spend with you as long as possible). when you’d been walking for about five minutes he cleared his throat, causing you to pull your eyes up to him again,

“could i um… would it be cool if i like… held your hand or something? can i hold your hand?” he’d rush to get all this out and you’d go a bit pink in the cheeks before nodding and smiling at him.

“sick,” he’d say, making a mental note to tell meeks all about how he got to hold the prettiest girl in the world’s hand later.

warnings: pure fluff! maybe it a little rushed sorry

You watched the herb, green with a touch of yellow, some were slightly damaged, brown. The flowers, pink, yellow, orange, were majestic, big and caught all your attention.

But you were mostly focused on the little house in the background, it was white and made of stone. Some smoke evaporated in the blue sky, melting with the rain.

“It’s beautiful,” you said to Todd, eyes still fixed on the painting. He nodded, permeating into the work.

You were both hypnotised by the art, it transmitted to you some feelings you couldn’t describe, goosebumps on your skin, shine in the eyes and even heart palpitations if you were focused enough.

It was crazy how a simple landscape made of pigments could give you so much effect. Was it nature? Or was it the woman in the lake, looking like drowning with a happy face?

You looked down, the title was Let it get you.

You always thought poesy was only in the texts, especially in the poems Todd gave you. But as you were standing there, you found poetry in the way the paint was displayed on the canvas.

Todd's eyes flickered to yours, looking deeply into your pupils. You tore your stare away from the picture. “You’re more beautiful than this” he pointed to the art.

A small smile made its way to your lips “You can’t say that. It’s a work of art” you said quietly as a couple passing by you offered you a severe look.

Your boyfriend shrugged his shoulders “As you are” he gave you a shy smile and you answered with an agape mouth and warm cheeks.

You turned your head, refusing to let Todd see you so flushed. But your eyes fell on a piece of art even more pretty.

It was a sculpture. The ancient Greek inspiration was flagrant, it was not made in the same century as the one you were in but it wasn’t so old.

It was the representation of a naked woman, covering her chest with her arms, she looked like crying even if there was no hint of a tear.

Your eyes widened, astounded by the beauty of the craved stone. You tugged Todd’s brown sleeve, trying to catch his attention as he was lost in the mindblowing painting again.

After a few more attempts, he finally looked at you. You took his hand in yours and started to walk.

You were so excited to get closer to the statue, you couldn’t suppress the big grin on your face and the way you would make little jumps as you walked. You heard Todd chuckle.

You wiggled in between the visitors, shoes slipping on the tiled floor.

Todd didn’t quite follow you, not that he wasn’t interested, you were just too fast for him. You were even bent forward a little when you strode to the sculpture, your arm behind you holding Todd.

You finally stopped, the beam even more present now that you were in front of the white stone.

Todd couldn’t help but smile at your enthusiasm. He found you so sweet to be excited by art, he was less into painting and sculpting, preferring poems or theatre.

But he had to be honest, you would dethrone any piece of art ever.

margot’s daily blurb!

school is taking me a lot of time and i’m not posting as many fics as i would like. so i thought about using this prompt list from @creativepromptsforwriting to write a little blurb (around 0.5k) and post one every day. i know it’s ambitious but i believe in myself lol

it's also a sort of celebration because i'm 15 followers away from the 200 and i won't have the time to do a regular celebration!

so one: you get content every day (or almost) and two: i can write more! i mostly struggle with writing over 1k words and it’s what’s taking me time. with these short fics i’ll have the time to write every day!

the regular fics are still going dw, it's just so i can post something when i don't have time to write a full-length fic! these blurbs are having a separate masterlist and a special tag!

i used a wheel to create the situations with a character and a prompt every time so each fic is already planned and was made randomly!

When I was down / I was your clown / Right from the start / I gave you my heart

"Stop.”

“I’m not doing anything.”

“You’re giving me the look!”

Pitts fell backwards on your bed, letting out a loud laugh. He leaned up on his elbows, eyes twinkling with mischief.

“Doing it again...” You mumble, pointedly turning away and ignoring the amused huff that left the boy behind you.

His next words were spoken directly into your ear, the sudden stealth causing your heart to skip a beat. “Boo.”

“Gerard!”

“What? I miss you.” His arms cross over the back of the chair, behind your shoulders. The reflection in the window shows his hunched figure and it’s enough to bring a reluctant smile to your face.

“Get away from me, you clown, or I am never finishing this essay.”

“You’re so mean to me.” He says with a pout but instead of leaving, he starts putting his weight on you instead of the chair, squishing you against the wooden desk.

“Oh my god, I hate you so much.”

The chair screeches as Pitts pulls it away from the desk, effectively pulling you out of the seat. He’s curled around you before you even realize what’s happened. A small cough from him has you rolling your eyes, but you oblige his silent request and begin scratching his scalp.

“Was that so difficult?” He mumbles, face pressed into your stomach.

You pinch the nape of his neck tightly, laughing at his exclamation of pain.

“Shut up.”
