Happy (very belated) birthday to Tortellini!

Except the first page and some corrections with CPS, all was made with Krita and I will probably not touch it anytime soon. X,)

I have the feeling to write like “from one subject to another” in this comic, but, well, English isn’t my first language so I at least try to be understandable.

Otherwise, I have many ideas that I want to put in comics, but it is time-consuming and sometimes longer than writing short fanfic. One of those ideas is a “French translation VS English translation”. Sometimes, the nuances are totally at odds like “Ne bougez pas!” (literally: “Don’t move!”) instead of the so known “Hey girlie/buddy, hold still!”. (Yes, that doesn’t give the same effect...) The two translations of the original version have their goods and bads but I think that could interest some people to see the biggest difference between the two.

(P.-S.: It is a real struggle to choose what version I base for some infos. Like, the hometown of Childe is a village in English, but a city in french... What translation should I believe? T^T)

TW: mention of pedal phile

Since some fans STILL complaining about shipping the traveler with anyone due to them being "underage" according to the NPCs (and even Diona, Thoma and Kaeya believes so as well). I thought i'd make these memes.

And before you came at me, no, this doesn't mean any other short character could be young adults as well unless if hinted or confirmed (if Hoyoverse even bothered to do so so this whole drama has to shut down)

And a little bonus here where chinese Chilumi fans requested to do THIS for his birthday (which was in 2023);

BEDSIDES

Everyone is aware about Hoyoverse being against pedophile getting normalized in the game (if we remember that one video where they forgot to change the guy's dialogue about Flora after changing her from an adult to a child, y'know, the one where he had a crush on her and they had to change that after realizing they forgot about it after changing her appearance, he sees her as his little sister now instead.) cause if Traveler really was confirmed to be underage then they would have toned down Lisa's flirtatious behavior or changed it cause apparently, you're saying she might be canonically a pedophile because the two went on a DATE and Lisa would have apparently cancelled it IF SHE KNEW traveler's underage but it didn't happen.

Cause the traveler themselves didn't even confirm it (hell, they were also on the flirting too) besides trying to say that "they're actually older than that" but nobody believes them which is why they're avoiding to drink wine so people would stop assuming their ages. (Also, because of the law in China since many players are also underaged)

The traveler didn't even say their age, they just let anyone assuming it because how else are you going to be able to prove it when you don't have your own ID and have been sleeping since what, more than 500 years later?

And if we recall their dialogue choices on Kaeya's hangout quest..

Traveler was NOT surprised that they're STILL NOT allowed to drink, hench why both options showed either upset or disappointment, such as "i wish i could drink without many assuming my age" it just shows their tiring of people, including some of their friends still believes that they're underage when the traveler hadn't said they were in the first place but they can't prove it and because of that, they're starting getting used to people assuming their ages just based off their heights. ('Cause apparently, being short = being underage, am i right? /s)

So yeah, i don't know how many times this had to be talked about because the hints are already there but many would rather believe NPCs than traveler who can't prove anyone that they're actually way older so they get used to it.
