What would an Avatar of Extinction look like?

There was never an Avatar for the Extinction in the Magnus Archives, however there is always the possibility of such a character appearing in the Magnus Protocol.

While all we can do is speculate at this point of time when writing this, I do enjoy humoring how the character might appear and how it may act.

Every Avatar in the Archives reflects the nature of the powers themselves.

Martin has a habit of cutting himself off and often feels isolated, as is the Lonely.

Daisy is tenacious and enjoys finding/tracking things, the Hunt

And of course good ole Michael/Helen with their good ole weird and deranged quirks, ah the Spiral.

Each a reflection of the Power, so what of the Extinction? Well, I’d like to imagine a character with a sort of Gas Mask, to signify a Nuclear Disaster and it’s trying to keep the toxic air out. They have become the mask, it has become their face entirely. They have a muffled voice and do not act that similar to a human, they’re personality is that of a detached psyche and uninterested in so much around them, constantly wandering to places of great pollution (garbage dumps along with oil spills), toxic environments caused to some degree by Humanity (Nuclear hotspots as an example), and feeding off the fear of people when it comes to radiation, extreme pollution, being replaced by something thats better than them, or even possibly war in some way. Not in sense of the Slaughter and seeing people around you succumb to violence, more of looking up and seeing the singular bomb being dropped and just experiencing the instant baptism of nuclear fire.

Please let me know what your own ideas are as Im curious to see how much potential the Extinction has here.

team bolas' victim complex makes sooooo much sense from like a character standpoint and it drives me crazy. i don't think they ever left day one. i think in their heads, they're still burning themselves in that bonfire. half their players were inactive, they had a clear pvp disadvantage, and they kept getting killed by other teams. it was them against the world on day one. their only solace was each other when they felt helpless and they're carrying that with them to drive them forward. they still call themselves victims because if they win, then it's a pleasant surprise, and if they lose, that's just how it is with team bolas, right? it's better to have no hope at all in the first place than to feel the crushing weight of having your hopes dashed.

day one was hell. their friends killed them repeatedly without mercy, they had barely anything while other teams built their bases, and they were bottom of the leaderboard. they've come to expect tragedy, even after their multiple victories, after they've come to regard one another as family, after they've worked so, so hard to be one of the last teams standing and actually made it. they never left that bonfire.

PSX Character Commission of @thirtiethelement's cyberpunk OC, Barracuda!

I have fallout character sheets I want to draw but instead I just decided to procrastinate and make a bunch of my usual stupid sketches. today we have yes man holding E.D.E. like a basketball, and my goofy fallout ‘sona having personal beef with borous from the think tank. because he wouldn’t stop HOLLERING the ENTIRE TIME through the X-8 tests, and my game kept glitching so I had to do all 3 tests like 4 times in total. which meant listening to around 12 rounds of Dr. Borous screaming.
