Heyyyyyy studyblr! I’m Beck, it’s nice to meet y’all! I haven’t really joined the community fully ever, but I’ve been here loitering with my studyblr for the past four years - that’s my entire first degree and then some.... So, I thought a proper introduction post was finally in order!

As many movies and TV as I can consume, I absolutely will

I love historical fashion though I dropped history in second year of college so everything I know about it from then on has been kinda self taught

I love to sew!! (Linked to the historical fashion interest)

I play piano - mostly film tracks but I can do a bit of pop music or classical at times

Baking, art, reading, all these things relax me

studying:

I finished my undergrad degree in June and that was in Zoology so I’m really up on my Biology knowledge (even plants, though I’m less good at those)

I am now an Anthropology Masters student, and finding it all super new and super interesting! It’s been quite the discipline shift....

what now?:

I can and will still talk about weird science facts on main

but there’s going to be a lot of essay and academic reading updates.

what do you use to make those coloured squares with the date on in your posts? hopefully that makes sense haha, your blog is adorable! ~ gardeniastudies

thank you!! i use photoshop's eye dropper to select a colour from one of the photos in my set and create a background of that colour (idk if that makes any sense sorry) and then use the app phonto to add the text ^^
