hm. should i make a rash decision once more.

#ok so #been on a nostalgia trip for a while now #and rn it’s surrounding old kids video games i played when i was younger #and i distinctly remember one of them being a dora the explorer game #where there was like an actual physical doll you had that you’d plug into the computer #and there was a disc that came with her so you could play as her going around her city #and there were even like #accessories you could buy for the doll #i know this bc i had some sfbshdbsndjsb #it was like art themed stuff like a stool and an easel and a painting palette #and even like a little cup with a paintbrush and pen in it #i remember the reason i stopped playing the game was bc there was a lion roaring offscreen in the game #but bc i couldn’t see it it scared little four year old me who was alone in the basement on my moms computer #so i just kinda. ran away and didn’t touch the game again lol #i think we sold the doll at a garage sale bc we don’t have it anymore #anyways. the point of this post.#i found a doll on ebay and i want to buy it. it’s relatively cheap. i have a disc drive for my laptop.#i NEED to finish the game now. i’m grown up a lion isn’t gonna scare me this time probably #but yeah that’s all this post was about lmao #k.txt

There is no excuse for an accessory to be over 120,000 polygons. I don’t care if it’s Alpha CC, that’s way too high. If I’m trying to open your shit in Blender to see what they hell is going on and Blender crashes right away . . . You know there’s something wrong.

Now I’m on Tumblr venting about it, look what you’re making me do.

#people just expect you to put anything in your game #like 120k polys is more than an entire sim body #if you had 50 sims THAT STILL WOULDN'T BE 120k polys #and then i wonder why my game is running so shitty #it's because i have all this junk in my cc folder #also there are ways to reduce poly counts like that and it's not even hard soooo #and this is for an accessory by the way . . . not even a full outfit #i once used this creator's stuff for a render and sims 4 ripper took 40 minutes no joke #my computer sounded like a boeing 747 #warwick.text

After almost 17 literal years, I'm finally planning to buy myself a new computer. Just waiting to get my income tax money in March. The dinosaur is still in decent working condition, but it's time to let her rest. She's served me very well over the past decade and a half, and it's going to be the hardest thing giving her up. But at this point it's time to upgrade

#tbh I really dont want to but Im tired of being scared that ''todays the day she doesnt work anymore'' each time I press the power button #and I've had to keep buying accessories to make my pc function like a normal one #the best example is the little internet router I had to buy to connect to the internet without the ethernet cable being plugged in #and the mini dvd player I needed to download the driver for said router because the player built into my pc doesn't work anymore #also my copy of windows 7 on the pc 'isn't genuine'' as the notifications always say so that causes issues #and my datemate's new drawing tablet isn't compatible with my dinosaur for basically no considerable reason other than that #so yeah its time to upgrade #now I could get a laptop. however they die too quickly for my liking/are too fragile #so I'm going to get another tower #aiming to get one with a lit of storage space so I can animate and do video edits #and so I can play games #like webkinz lmao #literally the whole time I've had my pc webkinz never ran properly on it. always takes FOREVER to load any aspect of the site #other sites it has no trouble with #and other computers never had trouble running webkinz #but my pc does #so now I can pkay that game again #and I can finally use my steam account to play more age appropriate stuff as well #sam's rants about life

Ok, rethinking going back to school again...

I should go to school to learn programming in like C++, which I could use to make bootleg Gameboy Color, GBA, and tamagotchi type games (I've always thought someone should make a playable one inside a game cart) working towards making my own new 'retro' handheld (because why don't we?) and a programming software that makes it easier for creators and fans to learn how to make their own games and programs

#I want to make a bunch of limited release consoles and the difference isn't the tech persay but aesthetic and accessories #why aren't game consoles more like computers anyway?#why not acknowledge the inherent fashion of carried technology #phones should look cooler too
