You know what would be a cool though tense Monster Hunter game? It being a more research game instead of hunter. Essentially PLA for MH, where it's more stealth, survival, and some elements of horror game. With you going out to study and learn monster behavior, with people having very little knowledge and they're actually terrifying, and you're going out with minimal to no combat skills.
All you can really do is try being a ninja researcher, sneaking around, making use of the items you have, and throwing them out to discourage or distract monsters. And if you're successful, you'll get to see new animations, terf wars, more MH lore, the world, and ecology; and a lot of tense moments as these are huge, deadly creatures that can easily overpower you.
And maybe as you level up, you could either go more hunter and adopt some protective tactics, or maybe you wind up befriending a monster and they'll guard you or let you ride them for a quick escape.
Not sure if it'll ever come to be, but I love speculative Monster Hunter ecology, and potentially getting some of it confirmed and having a game circle around it would just be awesome, and getting more of the world and how beautiful and scary nature is, and I think it'd be a really cool but also terrifying game.

To add to it, they can bring back underwater sections to study underwater fauna, which so far, is the least covered of the monster biomes, and I would love coming back to underwater just to see more as they only scratched the surface of what exists and some of the most diverse life is underwater. Also, these monsters can move much faster than you and you'll be more limited in what you can do. Delightfully terrifying.

And ultimate top tier post game content/challenge mode could be trying to observe, sneak around, and study Elder Dragons. Can you just imagine trying to study Fatalis' ecology? The most mystical of all Elder Dragons and it's only known purpose for living is just ending all of humanity. It'd be hard to study, but I would love to see what Fatalis does when they're just vibing.

This is a speculative Monster Hunter game I'd love to play, and I'd be so scared and tense, but it'd be soooo cool just having something that delves more into research than fighting and be more stealth oriented.

Amanda the Adventurer Spoilers don't look if you wanna see it unspoiled
The thing is, I can barely even see Amanda the Adventurer as a horror game. And, yet, watching a playthrough of it has given me the most viceral feeling of fear since Little Nightmares Two came out.
It's.. It's a story of abuse. At least, it is to me. When you ignore whatever sort of supernatural elements are going on that are causing people to be harmed or go missing, it's a story of abuse. Wooly is constantly and knowingly pushed past his comfort zone by Amanda, scared, physically hurt, dehumanized. And there's nothing he can do about it. He's trapped. There's some part of him that knows what's going on is wrong, and yet.. He has no choice but to keep trusting her. He's forced to somehow, almost. Even when he shows free will, there are still moments where he's trying to aid Amanda like they're friends (namely the scene where all the buildings have been destroyed, with him seemingly trying to cheer her up). And it's fucking heartbreaking.
I got so attatched to that little guy that the scene with Amanda about to operate on him genuinely put a knot in my stomach. Knowing that there's absolutely nothing I can do but watch. Knowing that in that little picnic basket.. He's probably.. He's..
Fuck, man. I don't know how much of this is projecting, but hurts. It definitely doesn't help that my fursona is a sheep, too.

sun haven is wack as fuck on god (i have to get this outta myself...)
this game drives me mad! crazy mad! I've gotten over it from playing it a bit! and i admit i wasn't playing on the newest version since obv i torrented it! I have no idea what has been fixed already since 1.1.0f so that's your disclaimer! but from the start! from character creation! arms being over the hair sprite and ruining vibes! palettes being mismatched causing amari ears and hair to not match! (hair shaded grey and ears shaded blue in the case of the white variants) is there a single person who chose those silly ass beaks and gator jaws for their characters? or a colored dog mouthpiece when the rest of your face is stuck at human colors? you enter the game, are handed begginer tools by anne (i hate her since i am unwilling to suck her capitalistic dick in the dialogue choices) and discover what i deem the most wack thing in the game by my taste - 2 PLANKS FOR 4 LOGS? it goes against all gaming logic and makes any plank crafting an absolute grind! so many crafting stations! 4 different ones just for cooking! the scrolling is torture in cases like the anvil! the jewelery table can't even make proper gem rings! you have to get them from chests! and by the time i got a diamond ring that gives +16 to health and mana i was at over 100hp and 200mp, making it almost nothing, especially in comparison to exp boosting rings! and that sunite key is quite precious! all i can say about the characters is that i don't like how the choices are made. the answers are often quite grey in nature giving you the illusion of a choice, but you just have to suck up to the characters with that sweet sweet validation. i've made that mistake once. now i hate anne. with that low bar set............. i like donovan the best that's not all! but anyways! i! say! it's! wack! ....at least the vibes are quite good at all points. all towns - pretty as hell. the mines - pretty as hell. i played this game once before the mines had enemies.... i have a memory of having fun, actually. did i get worse at tolerating things in favor of the good points? or did the game get somehow worse? is that even possible? well if they were doing dlcs already at such a point then something is definetly going wrong. and they're still coming. my god. i wish good luck to all the sun haven fans out there! hope the game is/gets better in the future for ya'll's sake!

Activities like sub stories and mini-games in Like a Dragon games are the sources of some of the franchise's most entertaining content, and it wouldn't be a true Like a Dragon experience if players didn't check some of these optional missions out. Including these side activities, the lengths of these games can easily double if players are intent on finishing all content available.

I’m hyperfixating on DBH right now so you get to hear my ranting about Markus’s pathways.
So for Markus’s pathway, no matter which route you take (Violent or Pacifist) you get North as a love interest. North is typically a violent character, and this is shown because every time Markus makes a pacifist decision, his relationship with her goes down. However no matter which path you go, Markus gets with North anyways.
I’ve heard (and I don’t know how true this may be) that Simon was also supposed to be a love interest for Markus, and I think this could be incorporated into the story more. Any time Markus makes a Pacifist decision, his relationship with Simon goes up. I think that this should mean more than it actually does in the game.
At this point it would be perfect for Markus’s love interest to be changed by the path you take. If you go for the violent path, Markus gets the more violent partner, but if you go for the peaceful path, he gets the more peaceful partner.
This rant might not make sense and it might partially be made out of my dislike for North as a character but idk, I just think it doesn’t make sense to go down the peaceful route and still get together with the violent character.

There's no fucking way someone could do that for the pay they offer and make QUALITY work. I keep seeing how shit their guides are and it's apparently not (at least not ONLY) because the writers don't care. Management doesn't fucking care either. You CANNOT have *one* person make that many guides AND have them be halfway decent. That's absurd. Content farms need to just NOT exist. Holy hell.

Jesus fucking christ WE GET IT. Spiders have webs and venom. DOESN'T MEAN THEY HAVE TO FUCKING SPAM IT EVERY GOD DAMN FUCKING SECOND CCING ME IN A POOL OF VENOM AND CAUSING ME TO LOSE EIGHTY THOUSAND FUCKING HIT POINTS.
In other words, Diablo just made me hate spiders so much more. Jesus fucking christ I do not care if that's like the whole thing about spiders, it's annoying as shit. Especially in a small ass room with barely any space to get away and like a trillion adds that are summoned. Holy fuck that shit pissed me off. Tried fighting this spider boss for a solid hour and kept dying cause I kept getting trapped and overwhelmed because there was poison and webs everywhere. It was the fucking worst.
