Fun Re:Kinder fact of the day ... DID YOU KNOW??? While in the Re:Kinder most characters you don't know the full names of (or even the full kanji of, only Yuuichi gets his entire name written in kanji when he introduced himself and I have an entire theory on why the names of these kids are written in hiragana most of the time but the one of Mami—the only character with a name that isn't a little kid— is consistently written in kanji entirely but I'll get to that another day ...), in Kinder, the original version of the game, you do!!! And here's where the real fun fact time begins
I've found that for some reason in sites I found the full names of the characters listed, Rei's surname is said to be Nimura. I've found it to actually be Suzumura! (@_@)
I believe this might have happened as a product of Kinder being sort of lost media for years, and that the footage we had of the game in Nico Nico Douga wasn't in very good quality and thus made the small pixels already trying to express a not so simple character into. almost completely unreadable. (@_@) with the "Mura" kanji being the most readable part of it.
I managed to find this out by actually downloading the game and seeing it in better quality. Here's the comparison between the text in the game and the name written in my notes so you can see how it matches (both say Suzumura "鈴村")
So yeah that's your fun fact of the day( ◜‿◝ )( ◜‿◝ ). As to why I took the time to fact check this I felt silly and said "what do the kanji in the names of these kids mean do you think it's intentional". I'm thinking when I'm satisfied with my over analyzing of this game and done an essay on it on my Google Docs I will post all the silly things I've found on it, but I'm not ready to do that yet. so for now have this fun fact to impress people at parties....

Ever heard of popcorn lung it's a disease that came in some teenagers after smoking grape-flavored vapes (others flavors too but mainly that) if I remember correctly basically it's the build-up of scar tissue in the lungs and damage of your smallest airways. It causes coughing and wheezing. First developed by workers in a popcorn factory after breathing in diacetyl a substance used in the butter flavoring. However, it's quite rare. There's some nerdy trivia for you I was hiding deep down in my bones.
I absolutely LOVE IT when people know stuff like this! I get to learn new and just stuff in general!
I’ve heard of popcorn lung in the horrible case way and also in the insult way! I wouldn’t go as far as to give Mikey something like that but maybe the nickname might pop up :)))

Fun fact because i just realized this writing but like.
Given Silva’s dermis and hypodermis have been replaced almost completely by a stronger layer of skin--i.e., resembling the cocoon that yveltal goes into--she probably can’t get sunburned! It’d already be pretty unlikely, but Silva is likely only capable of getting a first degree burn, no more since her under layers of skin are just...too strong to get injured by the sun rays! A first degree burn would likely result in Silva’s skin turning a lighter grey, before either healing over as her normal skin...or if the damage is more extensive, becoming that normal grey that underlies the red streaking of much of her scars.

For those that aren't in Australia right now, we have the funniest scandal going on.
Firstly let us introduce you to the eye of the storm: Sam Kerr. Sam is a women's soccer player who has in the last year become one of the most famous and beloved athletes in Australia. Captain of the women's national team, Sam became something of a cult figure after the last Women's Soccer World Cup became a complete unpredicted sensation in Australia, with the whole country getting behind the team.
Sam, up until now, has had probably one of the most squeaky clean images in sport. Generally in Australia it is not uncommon for our sports stars to be caught up in scandals involving drugs:

or if you're cricket legend Shane Warne, probably all three at once.
Contrasting all this, Sam's image as the squeaky clean saviour for sport made it all the more shocking this last week, when it was announced that Kerr was to face trial after having been charged by the UK police of a "racially aggravated offence" involving a taxi driver.
This was shocking news. Nobody knew what to make of it. Sam was a model for young girls everywhere and a national treasure. "This is why we can't have nice things" screamed the nation. It seemed like all hope was lost.
That is, until, yesterday, when the UK police finally revealed the full details of the case, in which Sam Kerr, sporting legend, was arrested for vomiting in a cab, and then telling an intervening police officer that he was a “stupid white bastard”.
Now we probably don't need to point out that in Australia, vomiting in a taxi and then calling a cop a bastard is about as close to a national culture as we have.
You could not have come up with a better headline to make someone a national hero.
Needless to say, Sam in now being hailed down under as the greatest legend that ever lived, and a petition has already been started to have her picture added to the $5 note.
The tide has swung so far that not one, but TWO, state Premiers have spoken out in support of Kerr, and the Prime Minister has even gone on the record describing her as "a delight".
And so ends the racial abuse saga of our greatest sports hero of all time, and the very first reverse milkshake duck to ever exist.
