Yes or No by @amidnight--dreary: Sick of people giving him shit for not being owned, Tony collars himself to make people think he has a Dom. For some reason, Loki develops a bit of an obsession - and for some reason, when Loki learns the truth and makes an insane suggestion, Tony says yes. (2022 - 2023, explicit)

Tony knows it takes a lot for Loki to play nice with Asgard. Mostly, it takes him wanting to secure an apple for Tony. Despite this, Tony is willing to hate everyone on sight, especially when he's forced to attend an event with Loki. But just because they're playing nice, it doesn't mean Tony is going to stand for an insult. Who says time on Asgard can't come with a little mischief?

So, he did not have to believe in the elusive existence of a higher power but could worship and be devoted to a very real deity that had visited Earth regularly in centuries past. He had absolute Faith in his God and was devoted to him, addressing prayers and offerings to him regularly; his chosen God was Loki, god of Fire, Chaos, Lies and Mischief.
(I am fascinated and in love with the idea of Tony praying to Loki as a god. Loved loved loved the entire series.)

(The emotional angst and pain of this fic hurt but it was a good kind of hurt.)

3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mostly the MCU. Frostiron my beloved 💕 I recently posted a Huskerdust fic, though, and a couple years ago I posted some Good Omens stuff! I have another Good Omens wip brewing, but I haven‘t worked on it in a while.
4. Top five fics by kudos
First one up would be Your Call, a multi-chaptered ABO Frostiron thing that‘s sadly unfinished because I‘m not happy with where it was going somehow. Then Corners of Reality, my baby, Yes or No, Dereliktion and last but not least Vita Nova!
5. Do you respond to comments?
God I try. I’m so bad at it though. On long fics I always answer comments on the last chapter when I post the new one, but I keep forgetting to reply to comments on older chapters or oneshots😭 They all mean the world to me though.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Ohh I wrote a few angsty oneshots but it‘s been a while. Maybe Here, that‘s the most recent one. Of the older ones I remember all my light most clearly. Tony is dead or dying in both of these lol, poor Loki.
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I like to think the happiest endings in stories are ones you had to fight for a little bit, so maybe Dereliktion. That was a long ride filled with angst and messed up relationships lol. I think Haywire (my first and so far only Sentinel/Guide fic, I love that trope a lot akfj) also has a pretty fluffy ending, and I have some oneshots that are pretty much all fluff!!
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Occasionally? Just the other day I got another anon ask on here complaining about my recent stories. Makes me extra thankful for everyone who takes the time to tell me they enjoy my stuff!!💖
9. Do you write smut?
I do! Pretty much all the time lol. I love writing Dom/sub relationships!
10. Craziest crossover?
I don‘t think I‘ve ever written one before?
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yesss. I‘m not sure if they just didn’t know any better though, they deleted the copied parts as soon as I told them.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes!! I‘m always so happy when that happens!!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Also yes. One year I did a whole Frostiron Advent calendar with @rabentochter (do you remember this????? How did we have the time??????? Insane) and we wrote a few more collabs beyond that.
14. All time favorite ship?
Frostiron!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my sassy messed up geniuses lol
15. What’s a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Uhhh I‘ve got a few. I‘d like to finish/rewrite Your Call. Once I also had the cracky fever dream of Loki doing random standup comedy shows in New York because he‘d KILL that. Can you imagine the sarcasm. The gallow‘s humor. Anyway I started that and then realized I Cannot Write Standup Routines at all. So there‘s that.
16. What are your writing strengths?
What I like to write the most is character and relationship development, so hopefully I‘m decent at that? Also dialogue, I hope, but that kinda comes and goes depending on the conversation.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I kinda suck thinking of longish plot that goes beyond “will they kiss?? Will they FUCK???” so I’ve been trying to practice that. Also scenes with lots of action😭
18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language?
I like it. I’ve been wanting to write a fic where Tony can properly show off his language skills but I don’t know enough languages to pull that off lol
19. First fandom you wrote in?
The VERY first was Dracula, back when I was 13 or so. I had a big thing for van Helsing back then. My first fandom on ao3 was Once Upon a Time!!
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
Ooohhh. That would be Corners of Reality, because I worked on it for years before I even started posting it and I love how it turned out. It’s a slow burn time travel enemies to friends to almost lovers to enemies to friends to lovers to enemies to allies to lovers fic. I had SO much fun writing it I still think about it all the time😭😭

Fast forward to the events of the movie, only this time Laufrey sees Loki get grabbed and turn blue. He realises what has happened and grabs Loki off the battlefield to claim him before Thor figures out what is going on.

The Children of Thanos are feared throughout the Galaxy: Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Nebula, Gamora and Loki. Thanos has finally decided that the time has come for a massive gambit. He sends his "children" to obtain the remaining 5 Infinity Stones in a competition to determine who will be his right hand when he has accomplished his ultimate goal. Loki is sent to Midgard to obtain the Space Stone. But he quickly runs into a snag in the form of an agency dubbed SHIELD and a man of metal.
So Loki has to take a different approach, one that has him seeking help from a puny mortal, his sister, anyone. Loki knows that the Man of Metal, Tony Stark is the one to beat. The one problem is that he seems strangely vulnerable to the Iron Man's blows. What are these odd images he keeps seeing each time he faces Tony Stark? He should avoid the man, but curiosity keeps him coming back for more.

I Frostiron is waaay down the line but not really - more like sexual tension and competence kink, This fic is not in any way relationship-centric, BAMF Loki, Human Loki- for awhile at least, Banishment, Redemption? what redemption?
When Loki is brought before Odin for his sentencing, he is rendered mortal, seemingly sentenced to carry out the same punishments as his brother. Except the All-Father hardly had fairness in mind when choosing the sentence, nor does Loki himself plan to play along with the old man's schemes lying down.
What everyone seemed to recently forget was that Loki was a trickster. They called him a cheat, a liar, a manipulator as a way to insult him, forgetting what being those things truly meant.
If he had to find a way to break the All-Father's bindings from himself and at the same time hide from SHIELD, the Avengers and Asgard itself, all the while pulling all of their strings from the shadows to position them and prepare against the Mad Titan's inevitable arrival, he shall do it at all costs, in style and in just the perfect way to stick to the old man.
He was Loki and it was high time he reminded everyone what exactly that meant.

(This one just…hurts in a way that will always be deeply, deeply personal to me. The ache it leaves in my chest even days later will never not be powerful- the power of words right there. This is one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read, hands down.)

Ok so I have heard the voice of the people ( @tasha-lemon ) and I have gone through my bookmarks to bring you the best I’ve read for my OTP (again, that is saying a lot for my polyA and multi-shipper ass). I love this ship because they go through the worse solid like there's no tomorrow.
Bend Around the Wind by Scyllaya
Aerielle has done a wonderful podfic of this very long story.
A canon divergent AU in which 2012 Loki is captured with Tony in a space opera with a lot of likeable and intriguing characters. The mage and the genius have to slowly build a crew, and trust. The story's main focus is the adventure but the intimate chapter are engraved in my mind and it’s worth the time you have to put into it.
Those Sinned Against by Arkada
An AU in which the Norse gods are space vikings invading the Earth. Tony is captured and offered to Loki as a gift. The two of them play multiple games with each other and their allies, but ultimately, they'll end up loyal to one another. The story explores a darker potential in Tony, which I love for him.
Hand In Mine, a series by Arkada
Begins as a PWP but turns into several lengthy stories in which Loki and Tony are in danger, but don't worry the stories end in comfort. Includes the best retelling of episode in which Loki has to sew his lips shut. The brotherhood between Thor and Loki will make you shed some tears.

Tony Stark Hates Doing Chores Alone by zombified419 (2014, general audiences): Steve usually handled a lot of the domestic things for the team - cooking, cleaning, shopping. But when he's simply too swamped to do it all, Captain doesn't mind asking for help. When Tony agrees, he knows this isn't really something he should do alone…good thing a certain Norse god gets dragged into it.

What's your favourite frostiron fics?
Oh man, there are so many great fics in this fandom that it's crazy.
Off The Record, like for a lot of people first starting out in this fandom, will always hold a special place for me as it was the first Frostiron fic I ever read. Definitely a favourite.
Others include: Bend Around the Wind, Catch and Release, Those Sinned Against, Lessons From A God, Poetic Justice, Tricks of the Trade series, Among the Stars, and more but I am blanking on the names right now. 😞
I'm ashamed to say that I am not current with the fics in the fandom right now because I don't read much anymore (not just in this fandom, but all fics in general. Yay life. 😑) So my faves are oldies but goodies. If anyone wants to comment or send in their faves please do so!

Hello friend, and welcome!
As the name implies, I write fanfic for a lot of different fandoms. My Ao3 is multifandom_fanfic_writer and you can find plenty of fics there.
My biggest fandoms are Naruto (I'm the author of the Akatsuki!Sakura story, Shinra Tensei, which is basically my life's work) and Hannibal. For Hannibal I've written a variety of fics: from cute to sad, a few kinky fics; and a variety of AU's.
Other things I've written are:
The Sandman fics (Dreamling and a crossover with GO)
Ace Attorney fics (Wrightworth)
TMA fics (Martin adopted by LonleyEyes, JonElias, a few others)
Avengers fics (gen and FrostIron)
I've also written a Geraskier (Witcher) fic and am writing a Steddy Hands (OFMD) fic.

Fic Rec Friday
Please allow me to introduce the IronFrost fic that changed my entire perception of what fanfiction could be:
Those Sinned Against by Arkada.
This fic is the reason I am obsessed with the warprize concept overall and continues to have a chokehold on my existence. I reread it at least once a year and have recommended it to friends repeatedly, probably enough to be annoying.
Why? Because it is sexy, clever and amazingly written, and I envy anyone who gets to experience this fic for the first time.
I don't wanna explain too much of it, lest I ruin anything, but have the summary from the story itself:
When Asgard invades Earth - led by a huge blond man in a red cape and wielding a massive warhammer - it takes six months for Tony Stark to come up with a plan to turn things around: let himself be taken prisoner, and bring the Asgardians down from the inside.
But it takes less than an hour for the plan to get away from him, thanks to the black-haired Asgardian prince who takes personal - very personal - charge of him.
Naturally, check the warnings before you delve into it, this is an E-rated fic for good reason. Admittedly, two of my favourite tags on it are "Warning: Loki" which has never felt so accurate, and "Sensual and Complicated" which is... precisely how I feel about it.

I did it guys! HERE'S MY FIRST EVER FROSTIRON FIC!!
I must say that I'm very proud of myself. Although it took me two years to get myself together and actually write the idea down, ask for help and finally show it to the world, I'm very proud.

Currently rereading Tricks of the Trade for the zillionth time. Despite how many times I've read it, I always forget how much my own stories owe to it, especially my two longest frostiron serieses, Midnight Mystery and Hear Me.
There are the literal things, like Hel's appearance and all the shenanigans with infinity stones, and there are broader ranging things like the way people are characterized and those tricky mind-bending plots. And when I started out writing Midnight Mystery, I kind of felt like a kid playing with blocks, imitating what I recognized but so far from building cathedrals like Tricks of the Trade.
When I got to the ultimate plot of Hear Me, I feel like I was starting to get the concept of arches, and now I might be getting the hang of flying buttresses! It all still feels a bit like a mess, though, when I look back at the story that inspired so much of it.
I'm just now starting to feel like I could maybe get a handle on how to write a deception-based plot from scratch, instead of sort of echoing someone else's, the way A Stark World echoed Dance Little Liar.
I don't know, I like my stories a lot, but every once in a while I feel the need to give credit where it's due. Tricks of the Trade really holds up and it's still inspiring me, so many years later.
