So for today's amphibuary the prompt was "pink". When I think of the color pink I tend to think of princesses, and divas. I also tend to think of how a lot of videogames will have such figures as bosses at some point in their stories. As a result I drew a princess roboaxolotyl who also is the final boss of a videogame in which a frog and cat companion embark on adventures.

Can't believe I didn't upload it. An ancient fanart for the game named "Meadow". I spent many hours in this origami-like world, running with my mate.

I was absolutely happy about the fact that the game had no ways to contact with other players besides animal-like behavior and emotions' stickers. The game in general was very kind and simple.

Pixel art for today based on videogame Kero Kero Keroppi no Daibouken for game console Nes. I know nothing about this game. Bu it looks very cute! Such a little animals! And weather is so summer in this game! It is thing I need! I guess, it is very good and kind and funny little game!

And this is my drawing about the same theme. Little frogs and little ants are playing in some funny and kind game. They are living in a place where every time it is summer. They everyday have a good mood. They everyday go for a little roads. And play a different games. They can build a new little roads. From anthill to swamp and river. In a forest and a field - ants are living. And in swamp and in river – frogs are living. And they can build new little roads here and there. And rebuild old roads. And walk by them. And to find something interesting. And faraway – there is some castle. Maybe it is good to explore it too. But it is far away above the horizon.

It is interesting what a game it is for frogs and ants for today? Yesterday, ant was searching frogs. And today, I guess, it is opposite, frog is searching for ants. But they can runaway from you. You make a move – And all of them are making moves too. They give their best to runaway from you.

And after it will be a break. And everyone will go to a rabbit to drink a tea. And also, it is possible to ask about a castle that so far away. What is it there. Maybe rabbit knows. Or some other little animals can know. Maybe mole knows? Maybe hedgehog knows? Or mices know everything? Rat adventurer, that’s for sure, can to know. It is main not to forget to ask a question. And so many things for everyday. And all the time to forget something. And everyday starts with interesting question - what is a castle out there. But all the time to forget to ask. Today it is, that’s for sure, It is good to ask.

And now - we have a game here! Funny and kind good game! Let’s play! Little frogs and ants are playing a game! And at the evening everyone will go for their own things to do. First – it is good to play! And later to do all the things! Here everyone is doing this way! And it will be a sunny day again! Every day – it is a good summer day!

I just finished: Here Comes Niko!!

I like a hat in time a lot - I generally like collectathons - and so Here Comes Niko!, a similar game, at least tone wise, that is more gay as fuck, and even has hat kid cameo in it, was right up my street.

The game has a cool little 3D but a bit 2D style, with all the characters including the main character being billboard sprites. You are tasked with getting the job of 'professional friend', which involves a trial period where you have to go around doing odd jobs for random people to get one (1) single coin. You get the coins to move to the next area, so on, so on. The various tasks you perform a really cute and funny, and sometimes a little creepy. One thing you collect is these insects you find around the various areas, which you can then turn over to hedgehog npc for a coin:

Another game it reminds me of is the frog detective games, it has a similar low stakes funny plot through out a lot of the game, although between levels you have something a little more heavy.

In between stages you get small messages from your parents, hinting at the background of Niko. It's strongly hinted that they are trans in some way, the flag of the place the game is set is almost the trans flag, they look like that, and they have run away from home to escape their parents who don't accept them for... something. I don't have a huge problem with the game not being explicit about it, though I'm sure it means some people would deny there being any queer themes at all. But, look at these guys and tell me their not the biggest gay:
