Winter weather doesn’t have to mean the end of harvesting fresh vegetables. You could always garden undercover, outdoors. Or you could try your hand at growing food indoors. Yes, it is possible to grow vegetables inside during the cold months or just because you lack outdoor space. However, it’s not the easiest way to garden and you shouldn't expect huge yields.

「旬八キッチン」で野菜不足は解消！新橋で自然とのつながりを感じられるお店を開拓

こんばんは、みさです✨ 突然ですが、東京で働く独身のみなさんは、毎日自炊していますか？私は忙しさにかまけて、週末くらいしか自炊ができていません。「これじゃ、栄養に偏りが、、、」「外食ばかりだと、お金もかかるし、、、」と最初は思っていました。しかし、平日に自炊しようと材料を買い溜めても、結局毎日自炊ができるわけではないので、食材を無駄にしてしまうことに気付きました。挙げ句の果てには、「もう平日の自炊はしない！」ときっぱり決め込んでしまったのが、私です（笑）。そんな私を見かねて、普段の栄養の偏りを挽回できる、素敵なお店に友人が連れていってくれました。新鮮なお野菜がたっぷりで、美味しくてとてもほっこりした気分になれるお店なので、今日はそのお店について紹介していきます😃

野菜の種類の多さに感動✨「旬八キッチン&テーブル」

まずは、お店の外観です。これは帰り際、閉店間際に撮ったので、閑散としていますが（笑）、私が入店時は19時頃で、すでに満席でした。お店自体は新鮮野菜も売っている、八百屋が併設というか、八百屋の中にイートインスペースがあって食事ができる、という感じの造りになっています。

新虎通りCore という、比較的新しい商業ビルの1階にあります。駅で言うと、新橋駅、内幸町駅が近いですね。

お店の名前は、「旬八キッチン&テーブル新虎通りCORE店」です。

中に入ると、こんな感じで野菜メインのお料理がずらっと並んでいて、平日は90分制のビュッフェが1500円（税抜）で食べられます。生ビールや季節のフルーツサワーの飲み放題（120分）を追加して、3500円（税抜）で楽しむこともできるようです。お酒好きの方にはいいかも。イートインスペースを利用するには、先にレジでお金を払ってから着席するスタイルになっています。ビュッフェを注文すると、「サトウキビを再利用して作りました」という、紙製のお皿とお椀を渡してもらえます。基本的にこのお皿とお椀を繰り返し使ってビュッフェを楽しむことになるので、最初は汁物だと紙皿の底がベトベトになってしまうのでは？！と少し心配になりました。しかも、「お皿を交換する場合は、1枚につき50円いただきます」とのこと。友人も私も恐る恐る紙皿を使っていましたが、結局、紙皿を交換するほどのことはなく、2,3回のおかわりは余裕でできました。ただ、この紙皿の再利用は人によっては嫌だな、と感じる方もいるかもなので、気になる方は、最初から有料で紙皿交換の覚悟をしていくと良いかと思います。

また、気になる料理のお味ですが、全部美味しいです！！はじめは「野菜だらけでお腹一杯になるのかな?!」と少し心配していたところもありましたが、複数種類の料理を友人との会話を楽しみながらゆっくり食べていると、意外にもお腹いっぱいになるものです。（食べ盛りの男性であれば、多少物足りなさは感じるかと思いますが）お野菜がほぼ丸ごとゴロゴロと煮込まれたおでんや、普段あまり口にすることのない珍しいお野菜がふんだんに使われた料理は、とてもヘルシーで、食べているだけで身体に良いことをしている気分になれます（笑）。

「地方と都市をつなぐ八百屋が始めたお惣菜・お弁当のお店」というコンセプトが魅力✨

今回のお店の雰囲気がとても素敵なので、帰宅後にお店のホームページを調べてみました。

街のコミュニケーションの場でもあった八百屋が近年減ってきている中、

都市部でせわしない毎日を過ごす方々に農家の方が一生懸命作った旬の青果を届けたい一心で、都内に展開される八百屋「旬八青果店」。

そのお店が旬の食材を作ったお惣菜・お弁当を適正価格で人々に届けたい、という想いで誕生したのが、「旬八キッチン&テーブル」です。

お店に入って感じた温かさは、このお店がそんな想いで出来ているからなのかな、と感じました。

私の地元、大分県では、近所に野菜やお米を作っている農家のおじいちゃん、おばちゃんがたくさんいて、旬な青果はとても身近なものだったのです。

それが、東京に住むとやっぱり農家の方々がどんな想いで農作物を作っているかなど、想いも馳せることもなくなってしまった気がします。

このお店では、その場で食べて美味しかったお野菜を、

店内で買って帰ることもでき、価格も予想外に安く感じるものが多かったです。

「地方と都市をつなぐ」というコンセプト通り、

私も地元の懐かしさをなんとなく感じ、自然とのつながりを感じることのできるお店、またぜひ行きたいなと思いました。
