A/N : hey everyone! i'm sera, and also a welcome to everyone else! i'll keep it simple and quick! if you'd like to plot, especially, please feel free to fill my heart on the post ♡ (disc will be available upon request). i'll be reading everyone else's information when they come up, too, and will be approaching as ideas come around. in the meantime, please be introduced to my gremlin, otherwise known as yoon.
⸻ SUMMARY
Yoon has experienced what can only be described as a glitch. The toy monkey he had as a child seemed sentient, and would often speak little pieces of information to him about Terra. Information that, perhaps, only someone with insider knowledge of Terra could know. While it might seem a bit useless to the average person, it sparked something in him he cannot just put back on the shelf.
⸻ USER_BACKGROUND
OCTOBER 27TH, 3000 is when he first "came about" as it were.
Unfortunately, their circumstances were not entirely ideal due to reasons he is not aware of yet that his father has been keeping from him ( As in he might be a former member of the hacker group Anonymous ). He spent much of his youth in THE BELT. Many of those days were hungry, and he was not afforded many luxuries growing up.
His father finds the toy monkey, that he eventually names Mim, while scrounging for some analog technology and gifts it to Yoon for his 5th birthday. Needless to say, his parents find it a bit hard to believe that his little toy is sentient.
With plenty of free time, he develops an interest in computers; specifically robotics and coding.
Eventually, his mother decided on her own to take a risk for the sake of her family and began training to work in the Outer World. But the results allowed them to live a better life.
During the move to a megabuilding, he unfortunately misplaces Mim. His parents certainly didn't care too much when he mentioned that he can't "do this" without it, whatever that meant. Ever since, Doyoon has ceaselessly searched for the toy monkey.

Eccentric sorta mad scientist vibes if the mad scientist liked gummy worms and hit his head on his door every morning.
He's nearly gotten himself into a bit of trouble with his interest in hacking. Though he's not affiliated with Anonymous, he's most likely come fairly close to crossing their path. He hasn't gone beyond experiments and silly pranks... yet.
On the forum for fellow unheard glitch experiencers, he's known under the username "Odin's Hand" ( the one that could be holding Mimir... get it?... no? ) which is honestly too cool for him but... he's constantly talking about that damn monkey.
Right now, he works as a PROGRAMMER at the company ORBIT GAMING, hoping it will give him some insight into the process of building Terra through game development. A bit roundabout, but... it's also fun so whateva
Currently lives in MEGABUILDING C1. Seen around testing his little robots and inventions or eating something while he scrolls on his panel and tries to gather stray cats.
Pretty ... jovial guy? Dumb socially but actually quite intelligent. He has a solution and theory for most things... maybe.
Great at fixing tech. He's collected a lot of "cheats" over the years and his knack for robotics has also helped with relevant skills to repair computers, troubleshoot, etc.
⸻ FRIEND_REQUESTS
( I'm generally more into freestyle brainstorming and stuff but... here's a few ideas. Don't come for me if they're bad, I tried )
He's always hanging around the mall doing... something. Honestly, he's a bit everywhere all the time, looking at certain spots by walls and stairs for seemingly no reason. One day, your muse watches him literally walk through a wall?? ( The monkey told him it was possible, in his defense. )
Would not be surprising if some people found him a little bit annoying... He's generally pretty upbeat(?) and oblivious to certain feelings some people might feel toward him. Also just says the wildest things.
People he's gone to school with or known for a while. Friends from that time are entirely possible. He's pretty loyal, even if he mostly keeps to himself without realizing.
Anyone involved with Orbit Gaming or tangential careers involved in it. I would like to think that he might take a special interest in the Iron Fist players and their dilemma. He might even brainstorm ideas to try helping them in some way.
An ex(?) fling(?) he ghosted and, yes, it really is as simple as he ... forgot to message and stop working enough to realize half the time. ( Honestly, it would be a miracle he had anyone interested in him in the first place. )
Alternatively, a former... something that took advantage of his willingness to help people and the trust he put in them was ultimately betrayed in some way or another. Could have been a friend, an ex, or even a coworker.
Someone who commissioned an invention from him. He can try his best to make it, but there's the possibility of it malfunctioning, of course. This includes mini radios, mini rc cars to annoy your neighbor, vr headsets or anything else that could possibly go a bit under the radar. He's also interested in analog tech if you need a hook up.
A member of Anonymous that knows his dad or knows someone who knows his dad. Breaks it to him that they know his dad was involved. This idea is a pretty "deep" one so... Lots of discussion in store.
Regarding the event: he definitely is the type to ramble like a madman about stuff, and I think he is staunch "believer" ( so to speak ) in Bae Gyu-ok's cause. Whatever that means to Yoon...

PLOTS OR MEMES?: Memes, for sure. I'm horrifically bad at plotting : if you have an idea and you wanna bring it to me, I'm probably on board, and I love when plot threads slowly start turning into a plot organically.
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: I tend to write longer replies, but I can work with whatever! It's just my nasty habit of rambling and purple prose that turns my short replies long pretty quickly.
TIME TO WRITE?: Nighttime, mostly! Partially out of convenience, and partially because it just tends to be when my brain does the best work. Although sometimes sunny days get my writing juices going, so it just depends. But I'm definitely most active from like 6pm - 12pm. Later, recently.
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: Yyyyes, and no. I feel like I can't write a muse that I have absolutely nothing in common with, but I wouldn't necessarily say I am like them. Carmilla is way cooler than I am. I use a lot of my personal experience with divorce and parental issues into Octavia, but wouldn't even say I'm like her these days. Of all the muses, I'm probably most like Vaggie. Sardonic but good natured.

Not Finding an SD Soon Enough?
Ladies, it's easy to become disheartened when looking for an SD. As women, we think "I'm pretty, this will be a piece of cake" or "I have success in regular dating" and believe that this guarantees our success in the sugar bowl. Then, inevitably, when finding an SD that matches what we are looking for is not immediate we feel disappointed. Sugaring, while similar to regular dating, requires a --different-- unique approach.
Vetting - Vetting is incredibly important in this game. When men are giving the John vibes just immediately cut them loose. There's no point in thinking you'll turn or change someone who wants quick, cheap sex into a proper SD. This is the biggest complaint I have seen on the forum lately.
Many new or aspiring SBs question how to make a man give you sugar. Hint: You cannot. A man is either generous or he is not. He either wants to provide, or he doesn't. The men who are not generous and do not want to provide, just ignore them. Don't waste your time and emotions on interactions with them. The second he questions "what do you bring to the table" or "why do I have to provide for you", block. A man who wants to provide for you, will do so.
Patience - You're not going to run into an SD immediately. Those dates on SA are gone (SDs, this one goes for you too). There are simply too many people on the site who are seeking things other than a proper SR. You'll run into many time wasters, scammers, toe dippers, PUAs, and other nefarious actors before you find the actual SDs of SA. Mentally prepare yourself for the amount of time it will take to find someone of substance.
Be a woman of substance - While we're on the topic of finding an SD of substance, you must remember that like attracts like. People of means/caliber/wealth often are attracted to people of the same or similar standing (note I didn't say always). Now, this can be challenging, as most SBs are college aged, but to navigate being a woman of substance, I'll change to: Are you becoming a woman of substance.
Are you constantly reading and learning how to converse with people 2x your age? Do you have an open mind? Are you willing to learn and be open to new experiences? Even if you've never gone skiing, are you approaching the lack of experience from a place of earnest interest? People (and yes, I'll include women in this as well) love when young women have a genuine desire to learn and grow. If you are looking for a man to spend substantially on you, you need to bring your best, most authentic self to the relationship.
Sites - I love telling women to actually go out in public and freestyle. The sites aren't the only place to find SDs / SBFs. Often times, meeting someone "in the wild" is better because you can begin to build a stronger more genuine relationship with them. Freestyling is less about meeting the right man and more about proximity to men (and women) who can elevate your lifestyle. Being in the right place at the right time can boost more than just your dating options; your career, where you live, hobbies, and even your frame of mind can be transformed by the right conversation with the right person.
Rejection- Above all else, don't let success in the bowl dictate how you feel about yourself. If you realize that you're self worth is becoming tied to your successes and failures in the bowl, then you should take some steps back and re-evaluate if you really want to be here. At the end of the day, not everyone is meant to be an SB (just like not everyone is meant to be an SD) and that is okay. This is supposed to be FUN, not stressful!

INTROJECT CHAOS!!! propaganda
When we become adults and gain responsibilities, we miss the silly part in life. Here's a list of silly things in our server.
#positivity — We have a positivity channel, because sometimes, we need to celebrate the small things in life.
#gaming — GAMING GAMING GAMING BE A GAMER
#counting — One of the first silly things we added to the server past its date. We have counted up to 69 precisely eight times.
#yaoi-jail — I don't even remember why this was added anymore.
#yuri-jail — Because we had yaoi jail, and we didn't want to exclude yuri.
We also have a forum filled with games. There are currently only two games:
QOTD — We ask a question... nearly every day. (The current schedule is weekdays, but I'm trying my best to do weekends as well.) We try to keep it lighthearted by not asking anything regarding religion, politics, and holidays.
Borrow A Word: Song Titles — A classic old forum game in which you borrow a word from the title of a previous song, then put it in the next song you post. My example is: "Pocky Boy" by yuele -> "Boys x Girls" by YOU LOVE HER -> "Pretty Girls" by Flo Milli -> "Pretty Bitch Freestyle" by Saweetie -> "Bathroom Bitch" by HOLYCHILD.

[2010] Nova Legacy Challenge 3: Generation Tasks
My Fairfoot legacy family started in 2010 with the NLC3 founder from the Sims 2 Supernova forum (now defunct). I'm still off-and-on playing them, so I thought I'd paste the broad generational rules here too, in case anything happens to my old LJ.

Gen 1. Start from Scratch.
Build your sim's house on either a 3X3 sized lot (30X30 for Sims 3), or a small beach lot for those of you with BV. You will not be able to move from this lot for the duration of the challenge, but you are allowed to expand/build upon the house to your heart's content.
note: if your computer tends to lag on larger lots, you can choose a smaller lot.
Gen 2. The Starving Sim.
Your household can only make money through hobbies like painting, treasure hunting, novel writing, freestyling/playing instrument for tips... this goes for the spouse and teens as well and doesn't change until the next generation has started. (Elders still living from the previous generation should not have any income, including retirement.)
Gen 3. Parenthood.
Have a family sim? Good. Don't? Oh well..... your goal this generation is have 10 children.
Gen 4. The Paranormal.
Have an alien abduction or be turned into a vampire, werewolf or witch (or a mummy or ghost for S3). This does not apply to the spouse or other family members.
Gen 5. Down and Out.
Life can really suck at times. This generation you can only fulfill the fears of your sims. This applies to the spouse as well but no other family members.
Gen 6. The Townie.
Your heir for this generation must marry a non-custom service person. (this can be a delivery person, police officer, fire fighter, maid, repair man/woman, gardener.)
Gen 7. Pick a Color.
This generation will be based off any one color you choose. Something in this generation has to reflect this color; either in clothing, names, hair color... This applies to both parents and children. Doesn't apply to existing elders.
Gen 8. The Mis-Matched.
Your heir for this generation really made the wrong choice for a life partner. For the duration of this generation, both parents must maintain a negative relationship with each other. Feel the love.
Gen 9. The Overachiever.
The heir and spouse must max every skill point.
Gen 10. The Greedy.
Spend it all... that's right, there is to be no money (or very very little) remaining by the end of this last generation.

"You already know how to set everything up?"
When Byeongkwan gave a nonchalant "yeah," it wasn't technically a lie. He'd seen the coaches set up studio equipment plenty of times. He even assisted with the recording of a demo recently ( i.e. handed the vocalist a water bottle ). So how hard could it be? Push a few buttons and toggle a few dials. Besides, the staff would only leave him alone with thousand-dollar equipment if they thought he knew what he was doing. Even if this particular studio was a bit outdated…
The first hour consisted of frantic Naver searches, scouring music production forums, and figuring out which button kept triggering an endless loop of some random city pop sample. After mastering Garageband on steroids, the second hour was a bit more productive. Getting the hang of things, he flew through mixing an original instrumental and freestyling a few rough bars. His first professional ( ish ) demo. He revels in the sense of accomplishment, replaying it a few times. There was just one teeny, tiny, small detail he hadn't considered. How to export the track. After reading through conflicting answers online, he gives up and decides to wing it. He got this far, didn't he?
He clicks around for a moment, stumbling on a familiar term: Render. "Okay, okay," he nods, giving the dropdown a click. A loading bar pops up for a moment, glitches, then the screen goes black. "What. What?! No! No, no, no, no -!" Gone. It was gone. All of his hard work for the day. Gone.
"Ah…" Byeongkwan leans back in his chair and stares up at the ceiling, defeated. A few minutes pass before he rises from his seat and steps into the foam-lined booth on the other side of the soundboard. He tugs the door closed and inhales. "FU - "
