He's on his way to a date with Bernard, arguing with Jason about what restaurant is the best for the kind of vibe he wants, when a group of men in white suits pull up in vans and have him cornered.
They point what looks like a Geiger counter at him, and it lights up, shrieking.
"Are you Jason Todd?" One of them asks, leveling some sort of gun at Tim.
Tim, fully aware of Barbara's eyes through CCTV and the actual Jason Todd yelling at him on his phone, hangs up the phone and fully faces the man in white.
"Yes."
There's the click of a trigger being pulled, and then the world goes dark.
On the other side of Gotham, Jason launches himself from the couch the second the line goes dead, throwing on his gear and pushing the panic button he swore he'd never have a need for.
His idiot little brother did a sacrifice play, he doesn't know to who, and he has to go get the twerp before he gets seriously hurt.
Or: Tim, to ensure he would be able to do his mission after losing his spleen without succumbing to an infection, was given a shot of Lazarus Water without him knowing it.
This means that when the Guys in White go to hunt down Jason Todd, who they are convinced is a ghost and therefore the only being in Gotham that can set off their Spook-o-meter, and Tim sets it off? They think they've got their ghost.
Tim lies and says he's Jason, because he isn't sure what these people want, but if they're prepared for Jason then they aren't prepared for him.
I'm back in the state my family lives for a bit and my brother had a seizure while I was driving him to his music class. Had to throw on my hazard lights and jump into the back because the seatbelt was choking him. I was already at a stop light thank goodness so people could just go around us. He's ok, it was a quick one so I'm just keeping an eye on him while he sleeps it off.
But I think I hurt my neck climbing through the car, or maybe when I whipped my head back at the start of it cause now I can't turn my head at all. I'm just lying on the floor trying not to move. Getting older stinks I tell ya what.
Anyway, we're still trying to raise money for his seizure alert dog so to all my new followers~
The amount raised already is the only reason we've been able to move forward the process at all. The dog is currently in training, and we should hopefully get her by the end of the year or early next year. This fundraiser now is to help ease the burden of the debt on my parents since they still have to make several more payments.
Bluey is coming in once again with the episodes that just tug at your heartstrings just a little bit to where it sticks with you after the credits roll.
Starts off happy and joyful as always, that leaves you feeling completely different by the end of it.
idk what’s gotten into me lately. but robb stark & theon greyjoys relationship is genuinely just everything to me. it builds me up and breaks me down in every way shape and form.
the very depiction of brotherhood. growing up side by side, & the show really does their relationship justice.
“It’s your duty to represent your house when your father can’t.”
i always see them in the small scenes. like when robb made the joke about jon never liking a girl better than his own hair, it was theon he turned to first to share laughter. when lord glover (or wtv his name is) started to pull out his sword it was theon who jumped up first, knife out.
& when they find out about his betrayal. when catelyn says “i told you never to trust a greyjoy!”, & robb is just utterly defeated. it’s like you can hear what he doesn’t say out loud.
“i wasn’t trusting a greyjoy, i was trusting theon.”
robb, lord of winterfell, the head of a war he doesn’t want to be in, not having anyone he can trust. catelyn, freeing his biggest advantage in the war behind his back. theon, capturing the home they both grew up in, in the name of a man who sat on his ass at the iron islands while ned stark raised him as his own.
& i know jon tells theon he’s angry because he betrayed ned’s memory. he did, & i’m glad he said it, but nobody ever told him how much he betrayed robb’s memory. he allowed robb to die thinking he burnt winterfell with bran & rickon inside of it.
and because theon took winterfell, robb is called the king who lost the north. it caused robb’s men to lose faith in him, & it set the red wedding up perfectly.
& honestly, it just hurts my heart. so so so bad. i have an ache in my chest whenever i think about it. & i can’t even watch the episode where theon took winterfell. bran & theon in that scene killed me.
one more Speculative Post (by an american, usually) about what shelties may actually have been used for originally since they're nothing like a modern border collie may end me.
