A part of you was unsure how your Orc Boyfriend would react. As you pruned the bouquet of flowers in your hands, you were starting to regret your idea. It was only a few paces from the camp now, surely you could just turn back around and throw it away, right?
Flowers were something that women received typically. Maybe he would think you were insinuating something about him, or that maybe he was weaker than you thought he was-
“Love! You’re back!”
Too late for take backs now. Hiding the bouquet behind your back, you watched as your Orc Boyfriend dropped a wood chopping axe and rushed over to you. “How was your walk? Did you get what you needed?”
You weren’t sure why you thought you could hide the flowers from him. He was at least two or three feet taller than you.
He peered over your shoulder and raised an eyebrow. “What’re those for? You’ve never brought flowers back before.”
Well, now or never, you thought. Meekly, you pulled them out from behind your back and held them out to him.
Your Orc stared at you for a minute, looking you up and down in confusion. “I… Um…” Where did you even begin with this? You must look insane.
Sighing, you lowered the bouquet and looked down at the different blooms. “When humans really like each other, sometimes they give flowers. So, I picked some flowers for you.”
There was silence for a moment and you felt your face burning. You knew it, this was a stupid idea.
“You picked these… for me?” His green hand came into view, wrapping around your interlocked fingers.
You nodded, still not looking at him.
Before you could stop him, he had snatched up the bouquet and held it high above his head. He bellowed to his others in the camp: “Look here! My lovely lady brought me flowers! What have you suckers got?!”
Orcs from their various work stations looked up, growled, snarled and swatted their hands at your Orc, “get stuffed you lug!”
Your jaw hung open at your Orc's audacity, before he looked back down at you and gave you the widest grin. “I didn’t know humans did such a thing,” he admired the flowers in his hand, seemingly as big as daisies in his huge hand. “You picked these yourself?”
“Wait, you like them?”
“Why wouldn’t I like them love?” Your Orc kissed you on the forehead. “You went out of your way to get them for me.”
“It’s just… I thought… Human men don’t normally get flowers, so I thought that…”
Your Orc let out a bark of laughter, “but I’m not human, am I love?” He pulled you into his arms and squeezed you tightly. His arms were the most reassuring and calming thing at that moment.
Hugging him back, you realised that there had been nothing to be afraid of. How could you have assumed that he would have been insulted by your gift?
“Anything from you is something to be treasured.” He mumbled to you, giving you another kiss on your lips.

got a nother piece of german slang for yall german-character enjoyers out there.
Digga.
I know. I know it looks pretty bad at first glance if you don't know where its coming from so let me explain.
"Digga" is a term that stems from the "Dicker" (lit. thick one) and is used to adress someone that you are "thick" with as in tight as in really close as in super best buddies but can also be used in a way that people sometimes call somebody a friend when they are seconds away from having that somebodys bridge of the nose make a connection with their frontal lobe.
Very commonly used by people under 35, it gets more common the lower you go age wise down until like 10 and it is also a lot more common to be heard in cities with high numbers of immigrants.
The term is gender neutral but you'll still most commonly hear it directed towards guys. It's also mostly interchangable with "brudi" (shortened slang version of "bruder" aka brother ) or any other way to refer to someone on a sibling-like level.
Immigration actually plays a big role in current german slang or "youth-speak" as its sometimes referred to over here and I personally think it's very interesting how older people hiss and cry about it as if that wasn't how languages have always developed since the dawn of time

It occurs to me that Fox will be getting a lightsaber. I'm sure you've already planned how, but I hope fox gets to steal palpatines and stab him with it
So. You're not exactly wrong but, about that. May I have a moment of everyone's time?
These clones with lightsabers posts have been scheduled as I worked on a comic. They have actually been done for a little while and I figured it would kind of keep up the hype and bring you all a bit of joy while I worked on other things and getting some other drafts queued for you all.
I did not, ever, think people would enjoy these this much. I had loads of fun with them, but I thought 20 notes max. Maybe a comment if I was lucky. I have been around social media and such for over 10 years now, even left Star Wars for a five year stint and just came back to it (on behalf of Obi-Wan). And I have never had engagement like this.
So what I am getting at is this: I actually have almost no content for the fight scene. I have some sketches, and I have an entire canon divergent universe (you remember the it’s raining men comic with the 501st? That’s actually in the clones with lightsabers universe!) that is all planned out in my head. I DO have the end planned, you are right. But I never thought people would be interested in it. So after everyone gets their lightsabers, there is nothing thought out fully any further (as I also still have some anxiety to overcome with my writing and I am very nervous about asking people to Beta, because I have had things stolen in the past and just have never had anyone really want to beta).
But with how much fun it’s been, and all you wonderful people I’ve met, I've got to ask: would you truthfully like to see more? (And if you did, would you want it from the beginning? Or have I hyped up the end too much now and it would be soul crushing to leave you on the cliffhanger I had planned for like, months? 😂)

Fandom Struggles
Skip to the final 2 paragraphs cuz that's the main bit
hello anon darling, now i'm not sure if you are the same person or different people but these requests have been piling up for the past couple of months in my asks not only on my main but on my karl rp blog too.
now do not worry my darlings i am aware there are a lot more of these but these seemed like the main issues at hand so i narrowed them down i will talk through or well explain these to the best of my ability.
to preface this i am obviously not talking about all the blogs when i say this but from my own experience.
now to start:
first off i am going to address the entire notion of me socialising with certain blogs and i will put out context for why it seems that way; i am a pretty extroverted person and i am also a little gremlin that is constantly online however this does not always mean my social battery works. Around quarantine was the first time my self esteem was truly broken, someone who i held dear said many mean things and honestly just slagged off about me behind my back. so whilst i am over it approaching people first is just a little hard for me especially behind a screen as i can never truly tell what their reaction might be. Moreover, I simply am a busy person, i very strongly focus on my academics which is why i have a strange schedule and i'll usually check my mutuals blog check out some cool stuff and leave. it's in my bio that im always free to interact if you just send me your ocs or something that you would like me to check out; because if anything i love about this fandom is the never ending fountain of ingenious ideas. I eat that shit up so quickly.
second off i'm not quite sure what you mean when you are referencing a hierarchy but i am assuming how certain blogs are a lot more popular than other which simply means they get more interaction. To put it into perspective if i am a little bakery that sells to 30 customers with a 10 percent success rate i am selling three items. however if my friend over the street at the jewellery stall has 80 loyal customers with a 10 percent success rate they're selling 8 items.
if that makes sense and obviously loyal customers, reblog which gets more interactions which simply just means your content reaches more people.
don't let this dishearten you at all i promise, literally everyone in this fandom produces such high quality lovely work, the main thing is about actually enjoying what you are doing. many people struggle as an artist whether it be writing or drawing content is something we make for ourselves before anyone else is a mindset that i believe. it has literally saved me so much.
also most people here are darlings, just talking to each other you can feel how supportive they are of u i promise, i think sometimes we put people on pedestals but at the end of the day they're just another person who loves the same media as you.
finally, the most important bit. is that we are a fandom? ironically, we make better content than canon has ever made but i think that always makes us forget we are still fanon. we are allowed to make up different aus, endings, ships and it would still be just as amazing. you do not have to follow a certain someones footsteps because your creativity is not their. you big beautiful brain is yours, and will always be yours.
ask closest friend on here @yui--komori, god i love her and all of her ideas and we scream at each other about different hcs all the time that maybe the other has never even envisioned. however sometimes we will have literally the same ideas, and sometimes the idea is exactly the same but the execution and those little special details are different and that is so valid. Because it is yours it does not have to conform to other peoples ideals

It’s only when I’m seriously exhausted that - for about half a second - I wish I were just an ordinary Rachel. Like when I’ve been going on no sleep for forty-eight hours. When I’ve been slashing and shredding the enemy and leaking blood from my own gaping wounds until I can hardly breathe without it hurting. When the very thought of sleep seems totally foreign.
Sleep? Huh? I don’t wish it after a typical, everyday kind of mission. Just after the really annoying ones. The ones where we lose more than we gain. The ones where we fail to do any serious damage to the Yeerks.
Then, I wish - for about half a second - I were nobody special.
That I’d never stumbled onto the tragic sight of a dying alien warrior prince.
That he’d never told us about the Yeerk invasion of Earth. That he’d never chosen us - me, my cousin Jake, my best friend Cassie, Jake’s best bud Marco, and this shy, compelling kid named Tobias- to adopt the noble Andalite mission.
That he’d never given us the gift and curse of Andalite morphing technology. The ability to touch an animal and absorb its DNA, all for the purpose of becoming that animal when necessary.
To fight off the invaders. To stave off the fate that has befallen so many other worlds through-out the universe.
A fate worse than death.
Total subservience to a mind-controlling master race.
