Hi! This is a weird question, but have you ever done blood magic? I’m interested in trying it out but I’m a bit scared

Sorry for the late reply. It's been very hectic! As for your question, yes. Plenty. I think there should be a healthy, cautious approach to blood magic, especially if you're talking about using your own or someone else's obviously. Blood is a very physical representation of lifeforce, and the condition of your blood too can also represent how things can go. (At least that's how I use them) I only use my own blood when it comes to my spirit spouse, G. I don't trust anyone else with it to work with other than him. Also practice hygienic approaches to draw your blood with alcohol and sterilized tools of course, no brainer. Now, if you want to use blood magic in a more..."casual" way, I use animal blood. I always use bat and deer blood for strong intentions mostly with "feral/primal" magic. I even use them for ink for sigils. If you want a much friendlier and easier alterative than those, you can use red root as a substitute for blood magic intentions along with Dragon's Blood resin. Though, be careful with red/blood root -- it's poisonous. The intentions with blood magic can be used for: -Creating a closer bond with a spirit/another physical person. (I would highly, highly suggest it's with someone you trust and with their consent of course) -Bring out raw energy -Dragon's blood and red root can be used for "blood magic" for very effective use for protection and banishing unwanted energies. -Great for primal/feral magic -For hexing/cursing -- for more raw results. I would highly suggest you use animal blood for this. (And please, be cautious of course) These are just a few but popular courses for blood magic. --- If you have any questions, feel free to message me again.

Of COURSE this had to happen three days after he made a joke about “being the only entity John Constantine hasn’t tried to sell his soul to” to Clockwork

No one could get into contact with Constantine. 

Now usually that wasn’t that big of a deal, the man constantly disappeared for a few days at a time doing something or other, but he’d been completely silent and unseen for months. Usually he’ll at least answer a call to tell them to fuck off or something. 

And they really need his expertise and are getting incredibly worried for their grumpy team member. Yes he’s an asshole, but he’s their asshole, y’know? And he has a habit of getting into Situations (sure he also usually gets out of them, but what if he didn’t this time?!) 

So they’re desperate. Kind of really desperate. Desperate enough to use the summoning sigil they found on his fridge. They’d checked it, multiple times, and it should summon the hellblazer. 

“You’re not Constantine.” . 

The white-haired teen in the circle yawned, stretching and blinking at them blandly with familiar blue eyes before sighing. “Actually I am,” he stuffed his hands into his hoodie as he looked down at the summoning circle. “Well, technically just one of the many Laughing Magicians currently in the Realms.” 

He gave a grin, looking more amused than annoyed. “Pretty much every one of us is in the Realms right now for family reunion lol. (Did he just say lol out loud??) So like, you’re gonna have to specify which of us you’re tryin’ to summon. Honestly perfect timing for me thanks, the fruitloop keeps flirting with John and it’s horrific so.” 

… That was probably their John, wasn’t it…

--- What kind of craft?

Witchcraft.

--- Jokes aside! I specialize in artistic channeling or manifesting -- which means I tend to draw spirits or energy that I see, or draw manifestations I want in my life as a "sigil." Like this for example.

These are sketch concepts I had done depicting for one of my spiritual Family members. (Please do not reblog or steal) (His name or details will not be mentioned out of privacy) ... I mainly also work in feral/primal, and death magic. A lot of this does involve using animal bones and pelts, and painting/etching sigils on these materials. (Ethically sourced) For each animal, I want to honor what they left behind when they moved on, and still show their impact even then. Vampirism is one of these things too, but that is more out of energetic necessity than it is about the focus of my craft. I also mainly go into spirit work/companions for my crafts with my spirit Family and a few trusted entities outside of us.

The main sides are transmutations, old ol' manifestations, reversals, poppets, (For healing and protection) and some other works of shamanism.

So, I just started watching Cubfan's pov of Hermitcraft Season 9 and to me, seeing him nonchalantly fighting an army of blaze to get their blaze rods just to make "Coffee" potions- from a mob that normally burns the tar outta me- has got to be one of the most raddest things ever. So I drew it.
