weird thing i noticed on rewatch, when they get upset or start remembering something traumatic, both hyuna and till's eyes get this weird purple/pinkish ring around them

but mizi's eyes dont in round 5, even as shes attacking luka

makes me wonder- maybe those rings represent when their minds get foggy. hyuna and till both lose it a bit when thinking about what theyve lost and possibly what theyre going to do next- whereas mizi knows exactly what shes doing when she attacks luka

or maybe its just a stylistic choice on their part, idk, just something cool i noticed

okay now i wanna talk about the soldiers because theyre fucking weird to me

at first i thought they were robots but theyre pretty firmly not i think. like they show fear a lot, react to things, plus theres this from all-in.

but they look human, right? theyve got human anatomy, theyre human sized and shapes- even the most humanoid aliens dont look that standard

so here are my theories: number one is that theyre a special group of humans bred specifically to be soldiers and work for the aliens. this would explain why they look and act like humans, but not why

another option is that they are robots and the reaction stuff is just a gag that im reading too much into. that is very likely actually

they could also just be humanoid aliens or something really obvious im missing. theres just so many of them and theyre all so uniform, theyre an enigma to me

one thing i do find interesting is that the aliens do seem to have some kind of gender dichotomy, or at least different forms of dress, as we can see mizi and sua's owners dressing more typically feminine with nails and jewelry compared to other aliens

also i know the alien race is called segyein, but i dont know if all aliens are the same species or if theres many different ones. like these guys are so varied and all over the place theres no way theyre the same race

like in top 3 theres an alien in the background that looks like a goddamn plant. what the hell

also- im pretty sure aliens have different classes? not just social classes- its basically confirmed that theres upper and lower class aliens, like till's guitar was a lower class alien named freddie but ill get to that in a bit- i mean different classes of sentience

like these aliens we see in round 3 look almost feral? doglike? they have collars on- theyre far from other sophisticated aliens weve seen i mean that guy has a cravat. theres no way every alien is sentient right, there have to be animal aliens too

but also when it comes to classes, how lower class are the lower class aliens?? i mean freddie is a fucking guitar, how does that work? did he get a job as a guitar or is he a guitar shaped alien? is he getting paid for it or is he a slave? why cant till just have a normal guitar? what the fuck

i have so many questions, like why is this guy wearing sunglasses with just one eye? truly we may never know

OKAY im doing the aliens now because ive lost control of my life

as far as i know we only really know the names of four(?) aliens

theres guardian heperu, this ballsack lookin mf who is luka's owner

then theres guardian urak whos till's owner. we kinda know what he looks like?? maybe? pretty sure thats him in the chair, but i think its also possible hes one of these aliens from round 6, who knows

then theres guardian shine(?) who is sua's owner, who we catch a glimpse of in mizisua. we also see mizi's owners here, but theyre not named

and last but definitely least is weng spichon, who is namedropped in top 3 but i have no idea who he is or what he looks like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i also wanted to mention that we dont know anything about ivan's owner other than that theyre apparently pretty well known. i think this might be them from black sorrow, and maybe the second image as well
