Hey so I know your thoughts on Fandom shipping. Namely you don't like when people ship characters who are in a canon relationship with other people, or when the ship goes against a character's sexuality. Can you give a list of Canon ships and sexualities so we know what we can make fanart of this AU of? Like, what ships for these versions of the characters we can make fan content for?
I don't want to be killed for disagreeing with fanon, so I will not reveal sexualities. Well, ok. I will reveal 1. Edgeworth is AroAce in this AU. So no ships for him.

And when I do ship, it's because I can connect to it. And I get vocal. And since I am Heterosexual (though maybe with the sec repulsion I'm Acespec? I dunno. But I am definitely Heteromantic), I only really connect to male and female pairings. But I don't like EVERY male and female pairing. I am very picky. Like I said, I don’t ship much. Oh boy, definitely going to be opening a can of worms here if I go with some of the more popular fandoms, so I'm only going with fandoms that I am heavily invested in: Mega Man and Fire Emblem.
6. Which ship fans are the most annoying?
I'm sorry to say that in FE, some of the most annoying shippers I've found are the Chrom shippers, especially Chrom/Robin (Male and Female), Chrom/Sumia, and Chrom/Olivia. And that's really saying something since I'm a Chrom/Olivia shipper.
(I just wanna emphasize I DO NOT MEAN YOU FRIEND! You are wonderful! Please continue talking to me about how FEH pushes Chrom/M!Robin! I'm talking about the people that tend to froth at the mouth when they see that someone else ships one of the other ones, and then, unprompted, start presenting "evidence" that their ship is way better and more canon and that anyone that thinks otherwise is dumb.)
Anyways, as stated above, I find those kind of people irritating. I rarely find this in the fanfiction community, which is wonderful, but I tend to find this more when people are discussing the games themselves or are drawing fanart with either of the ships or the potential kids that are part of it.
Just shut up, pick the one you like, and move on.
14. That one thing you see in fics all the time.
Oh, this was such an easy question for me. In the Mega Man X fandom, one of the things that I've been seeing lately that bothers me… is how Reploids are written as if they are not designed to be human-like and have the Three Laws in them (X may or may not be the exception depending on the person, and Zero often heavily emphasizes the first).
The part that gets me the most is that Robot Masters have been shown to have more of a free will than the Reploids in those fics. And Robot Masters are less advanced -- literally the entire point of X was that he was just like a human. Why make the species based off of him far less advanced than a Robot Master?
It's jarring enough to me that it takes me out of the fics, which is a shame because other than that, those fics are beautifully written with interesting plots most of the time.
18. It’s absolutely criminal that the fandom has been sleeping on…
Oh boy where do I even begin with this in the Mega Man fandom. Everyone expects me to talk about Quint and R-Shadow and the Dimensions, I know, and I always have a lot to say when it comes to people sleeping on them, but for once, I'm going to talk about something else.
The Command Mission bunch are some of them. The game was only ever released on the PS2 and GameCube, and a lot of "purists" turned their noses up on it because it was an RPG, not traditional side-scrolling Mega Man X, and it's canonity was considered questionable ("purists" consider the series to end at X6 and that X7+ is non-canon because "the lead-up to MMZ won't make sense!", which is really funny to me because Zero and ZX HAVE X7+ references but I digress).
It was a bit rough and unpolished, but the game really helped with fleshing out the world, and it's a damn shame that the fandom sleeps on the characters and concepts introduced by Command Mission.
23. Ship you’ve unwillingly come around to.
This one is difficult. Once I make up my mind about a ship, I rarely change my mind about it, so I had to think about this one for quite awhile.
In the end, I'm going to have to say Xander/Charlotte from FE Fates. I was firmly against this ship from the start, and preferred some of his other ships, not all of which were possible in-game. But I eventually noticed during my playthroughs that Xander just doesn't have many good ships possible in-game (IMO), and picking Charlotte as the wife (especially in Conquest, Revelation has one of my top two ships for him) is really just making the best of what you've got.

That's funny someone mentions Rocina because one of the main reason I wished neither it or Chrobin got canonized was the fact that some of your marriage makes character that can marry in normal times parents and child or brother and sister. Morgan would be cursed if any Robin x 1st generation was canonized and that was one of the main reason I freaked out when people began to speculate whether Chrom!Inigo was canon or not since he can marry Lucina and I don't think it's a good idea to make a "blood relationshi" canon and still allow fans to have it fanon by giving Inigo another father since it's possible. The other reasons is that Awakening is the first game to introduce multiverse so literally all the possibilities are still possible hence there is no canon, after all Awakening has 3 universe/timeline : the failed one, the canon one, and the DLC one (or whatever timeline Morgan comes from). IF the writers want to push Chrobin it's fine, but making it canon will be complicated I fear
Cursed? How so? Really as I said in another ask it's all just fanservice for you the player. Chrom!Inigo is not canon in fact due to Chrom Olivia never being touched, most implied before now was Sumia. Unless Fates did something but I thought Fates was very coy on who the other parent was. How is Chrobin messing with anything, I don't think I quite understand your ask. Lucina stays the same, and Morgan isn't really used in much. Future past is fascinating because there's two Morgan (both male and female) but there's only one gender Robin so Grima had to have pulled the other Morgan somewhere, or even neither of them are from the future past world but another.
See the thing about Awakening being all these timelines converging and fanservice for the player and stuff is...it really doesn't make sense once you break it down. Which is why I think most of the side material sticks with the basics it's too complicated to go into it all

Dustin held up the pad of paper towards Y/n. A smile present on his face even though she was connected to her walkmen. She smiled at the picture and then went to her notepad. “I would love to go to the movies with you.” She wrote back to answer his question. She was terrified. Max and her were targets for Vecna and everyone was nervous. Eddie and Steve had made sure that her walkman was filled with their music and her most liked music. Tears filled her eyes.
Dustin looked up and in horror, saw Y/n’s eyes had rolled into the back of her head and her eyes blinked fast. He moved over to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. “Y/n! Y/n please wake up now!” Dustin screamed in panic. He darted for the radio. “STEVE!!” He screamed into the radio. A crackly “what?” filled the air. “Vecna has y/n.” Dustin said. He could hear Steve wince and Eddie whimper and it broke his heart. Eddie and Steve had pretty much adopted the girl as their younger sister. “What do I do guys? How to get you out of this mess?” Dustin asked. Steve sighed out in pain. “Try to keep her music playing.” He whispered and the com went dead.
A sudden shiver ran down her spin making her drop her things. Her eyes looked around wildly. “Dustin. Dustin?! Where are you?!” She screamed. She ran down the hallway trying to find her boyfriend but was stopped. She continued to run while seeing her darkest fears and troubles. She felt tears fill her eyes. Venca had chosen her as his next victim. She kept running. She did her best to stall. She ran and ran and ran. She tried her best to escape from Vecna but he made it harder and harder to hide the longer she ran. Her eyes filled with tears knowing that she would be killed. Her heart hammered in her chest. “Hurry guys.” She whispered.
{Upside Down Crew’s pov:}
Steve pressed his hands against his face and dropped to the ground. Tears spilled down his face as he realized that you didn’t have much time anymore. “We have to find Vecna now.” He said standing up with such a fierce look. Nancy and Robin looked at each other and then looked over to see Eddie trying his hardest not to cry.
“It’s ok to cry Eddie.”

“It’s different this time. I might lose someone that is like a little sister to me. I don’t want to feel that kind of pain.”
Steve looked over his shoulder and to Eddie seeing the man burst into tears. They ran down his face like a waterfall. He held back his own tears before turning around and marching towards the Creel house. His heart thundered in his chest as they got closer. He glared with all the fire in his heart towards the house. Nancy, Robin and Eddie stopped at his sides and looked towards the house. “Are you all ready?” He asked. They nodded their heads and they started running towards the house.
{Y/n’s POV:}
“Y/n, you can’t run forever. They won’t save you intime.” Vecna’s voice rang throughout the stupid house I was trapped in. I trembled as I ran into yet another dead end. I turned around and saw Vecna round the corner. I backed up against the wall and felt my entire body give out. I closed my eyes and tried my best to block him out. Tears dropped down her face when she felt Vecna’s claw-like hand brush against her face.
“Such a pretty face but such a sad life. You should be thankful that I am taking you from this cruel world.”
I could feel my lip trembling as he moved closer to me. “Leave me alone!” I screamed, pushing him away and making a run for it. I rounded the corner and found another dead end. I turned around and found Vecna staring down at me again.
“Your time has come, my dear.” He said moving his clawed hand over my face. I felt my body moving as my eyes started to roll into the back of my head. ‘I’m sorry Dustin. I love you.’ I thought as Vecna’s hand came crashing down against my face. I could feel my body bowing back and my limbs forcing themselves into different directions.

Dustin backed away when he saw his her rise up into the air. “No. No, don't you dare take her from me you bastard!” He yelled. However he just watched helplessly as her body was snapped and blood ran down her face from her eyes. Her jaw snapping and her limbs snapping. Dustin could only drop to his knees and gather her into his arms. He sobbed and sobbed and screamed. He held her against his chest and sobbed into her shoulder. “Dustin! Come in Henderson! We killed Venca! He killed him on the third chime!” Eddie’s and Robin’s voices shouted over the walkie. Dustin fumbled before he grabbed the walkie. “She’s dead.” His voice cracked when he said she was dead. The walkie went silent. “What?” Steve’s voice sounded so broken and Dustin couldn’t hold it in anymore.
“She died Steve! I’m holding her dead body right now!” Dustin hiccuped as he started sobbing loudly. Max and Lucas burst through the door and found Dustin holding Y/n in his arms as he cried. “Why would he choose her over me?” Max asked. Lucas looked over at her before looking back to Dustin. Dustin scooped her up in his arms and started to walk to the door. “Come on. We have to go.” Dustin’s voice sounded distant as they left the building. As they left, they saw Steve, Eddie, Nancy, and Robin racing towards them.
Dustin could feel his tears starting to rise up when saw Eddie and Steve take one look at Y/n and collapse to the ground. Steve to his knees and Eddie to his butt. Eddie was in shock though. “She wanted me to tell you Eddie that she wanted you and Wayne to adopt her. She wanted you to be her cool older brother. She wanted to go to the D&D club. She wanted to be a part of your passion. She wanted to create a character and play with us. She told me that she would defend you to her dying breath. That she would protect you and me.” Dustin chuckled at the last part.
Eddie felt his lower lip start to wobble. Tears started to fall down his face as he covered his face and sobbed freely. Dustin could feel his heart breaking. He turned to Steve and gave him a shaky smile. “Y/n wanted me to tell you that she would want a father like you. She felt protected when you were around and she would always call out for you when she was in trouble.” Dustin was close to sobbing completely. Tears were running down his face and his chest was heaving.
Y/n smiled from a perch on the tree. Her eyes filled with tears as she watched her boyfriend, and her brother figures and the others talking, crying. She couldn’t help but float down to the ground and sit next to them. Her eyes shifted from one person to the next. She watched as they all looked at your dead body with tears and choked sobs. “I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you.” Dustin whispered, kissing her forehead one last time.
“I will love you for a thousand years Dustin. I love you.”
After she had said that, she disappeared.
Dustin stood at her grave sight a few days later. Eddie, Steve, and Wayne were there. Dustin kept himself close to her gravestone as tears fell down his face. “I’m sorry.” He whispered against the stone. “I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you like we had promised when we first started dating. I’m sorry for letting you down.” He whispered before pressing a kiss to the cold stone and standing up. He took one last look at her grave stone before he turned and walked away. “I’m sorry. I failed as your boyfriend.” Dustin whispered softly.

Given the Awakening multiverse do you have a specific canon?
are you asking what is my specific canon or is there a general canon?
as for general canon, i would say chrom x sumia since it’s in the opening along with inigo, owain, and severa being born (no specific fathers) since they’re canon in fates.
my personal canon is based on my second playthrough. in my first one i played as female robin and accidentally married chrom… which uhh… i didn’t want to happen since i’m not a fan of the chromxrobin ship. i think it’s over done and chokes the life out of other pairings in the fandom.
since i don’t like my first playthrough i don’t consider it my canon. my second time playing i used m!robin since my dislike of chrobin extends to f!robin as well (also i hate her design). plus warriors seems to treat m!robin as the canon avatar with f!corrin as the one for fates.
so for my canon it’s the following:
m!robin x nowi = nah & manakete!morgan (i love this little family so much 🥺)
tharja x virion (their supports slap and i think their personalities work well together)
kellam x panne (idk they were cute lol)
miriel x ricken (i think the size difference between laurent and ricken is hilarious)
