I think if Guz Khan is available for s3, they should resurrect Ivan with the most half-assed, hand-wavy explanation possible. They mistook him for dead and he actually spent the last several months healing on a vacation island. He got distracted by a puppy during a raid and was left behind. Buttons the sea witch brought him back to life. Heck, they don’t need to explain it at all, if he just reappeared without comment I’d accept it.
