I just saw the rerun of SPN 3x16 on TNT and one bit of dialogue really struck me. There’s a scene towards the end where the mom is reading a fairytale to kid!Lilith before she goes to bed. This is the story that she’s reading:
“Once upon a time in the town of Celine lived a beautiful princess named Cleo. But the town was plagued with an evil dragon that demanded the blood of the children, and the princess was doomed to be sacrificed to the dark and terrible dragon."
Sound familiar? This is literally the biggest foreshadowing of the entire Season 4 story line. The princess (Lilith) lived in a town (Hell) plagued with an evil dragon (Lucifer), and the princess was doomed to be sacrificed to the dark and terrible dragon. Lilith ended up being the final seal to set Lucifer free from Hell. She was "doomed to be sacrificed” in order for the “dragon” to walk the earth. Without her death, Lucifer could not rise. We literally were told the end game for Season 4 in the Season 3.
Damn you, Kripke…how can you be so awesome?

"It's hard for me to say how much of Tai's behavior is motivated by her want to stay in the group and trying to figure out how to stay on everyone's good graces –– and how much of it is genuine fear or curiosity. Because when they were walking back to the cabin in the show, she started doing the chanting. I don't think that she would do that in that moment unless she really thought it might work or help with something. When she puts [Van's bone] in Shauna's hand, it might be her saying, 'I'll do anything to keep my friend alive. I'll worship your stupid God, I'll do your stupid chants, I don't care in this moment.' That's like one moment where Tai has no ego. Most of the time she has a big ego, but in that moment, it's gone." –– Jasmin Savoy Brown
