honestly i’ve never minded I love the canon creepypastas and how disturbing they can actually be but i kinda grew up on the fanon pastas and i enjoy the silliness of the mansion au

I think a lot about the fact that Herobrine as a creepypasta initially was not malicious at all. Like literally he was just some guy who made very specific tunnels, cut leaves off trees and built pyramids in your world, all weird things but really not harmful. Like his worst crime was telling someone on a forum to fuck off when they kept talking about him. But then with time there's been all this additional detail added on like the redstone torches and traps and shrines and he's seemingly gotten more aggressive as an entity within writing and other media. Like he'll actively go out of his way to hinder the player in game or in some depictions irl in some way. All of this is to say I think the more we tried to figure out Herobrine and shit the more we pissed him off a little. Give the man some space I'm sure he's tired of the 12 year olds trying to summon him every other day. I drew this over the course of three years. I did my research for example: like Hoody’s hoodie having no pockets and the blue t-shirt Tim wore in one of the entries underneath the iconic carhartt (which people always make four shades darker than it really is) but I think this is because Masky is always in the dark so it’s hard to distinguish the true colours unless you watch a good amount of Marble Hornets entries to see him in the daylight.

This just proves that the Creepypasta fandom has gone down the deep end. Pick yourselves up folks! Research the source material for crying out loud. My deepest sympathies to my fellow Marble Hornets enjoyers. For our beloved characters have been butchered!

Kastoway (Ticci Toby’s creator) thinks the waffle thing is stupid. Tim doesn’t like cheesecake. This is something Tim Sutton tried to shut down early on while Marble Hornets was still running because people were making fat jokes about him (cheesecake included) Creepypasta fans need to stop and look into the things they’re saying/using.

Not to vent on main but I don’t think the creepypasta fandom really understands mental illness both canon and fanon sides misinterpret mental health and twist it to their satisfaction. I’m not a helpless little baby but I’m also not a monster for being mentally sick and damaged. I don’t sexually assault people because I have a personality disorder and I’m not always happy go lucky and a “good” person either. I’m just surviving. I really hate how this fandom is sometimes and how it has harmed me more than anyone understands

I don't know why "[insert creepypasta character] wouldn't treat you like that, they'd abuse you!" Is even an argument in the first place? Like yeah sure, maybe, but I like imagining otherwise?? Let people be, a lot of people in this fandom have been seeing them as their comfort characters since they were like nine, why do you care?
