ATLA Theory: Some air benders fled the massacre to the Si Wong Desert. They intermarried Earth Kingdom people and their descendants are the Sandbenders.
There is no way a bunch of people who can travel by air were completely taken by suprise by ground troupes. C'mon. Some had to have escaped. They just had to find a place where the Fire Nation couldn't find them. What better place than a desert no-one ever visits?
Sand is the perfect mix of Earth and Air. It doesn't move like earthbending, it moves like air or water. The relationship between air and sand is strong: sandstorms, wind eroding rocks into sand, wind sculpting sand dunes, ect... All things you find in a desert.
Also, it's very likely the Sand People are nomadic. Most desert peoples are. This would fit perfectly with the Air Nomad lifestyle. Sand Ships would replace Air Bison. Also, the Si Wong Desert is a great place to hide, especially if you ally with the locals. The Earth Kingdom government doesn't interfere with the Desert, people don't usually travel through it, and those that do probably would interact heavily with the Sand People, so rumors wouldn't travel about new arrivals. The Fire Nations definitely never went there.
If any new air benders were born, it would be incredibly easy to hide them. Airbending could be disguised pretty easily as Sandbending, all you have to do is pick up sand with the wind as you bend. I bet there is a mix of airbenders and earthbenders in the Desert.

Documenting all possible evidence for the Sir Pentious Seraph Theory
Note: this post was not made by the usual runner of the Nightshadow account, but the writer of this post wanted to post it here, because she does not want to bother her friends anymore with rampant hazbinposting.
What is the Seraph theory?: For the uninitiated, this is a post-season one theory that claims that when Sir Pentious was redeemed, he actually became a Seraph, the highest order of angels. It sounds a little silly, but there’s more evidence for it than you’d think.
Tumblr media
Source: Fandom Wiki
Now this is not an uncommon theory, but I haven’t seen anyone fully document it (in fact I have found few people talking about it at all). So here I go. If I missed anything, please inform me!
The Obvious: Sir Pentious appeared in the Seraphim’s office. We are shown in the show a main gate where most souls presumably pass through. Why did he not go through there as well? There isn’t an obvious explanation for it, but one plausible idea is that he isn’t like most angels.
Adam: Adam is the first human soul in heaven. As such, he is shown to be quite powerful in the angel hierarchy. Would the first redeemed soul not be just as if not more important?
Tumblr media
Source: Fandom Wiki
Flying Snakes: Idk if anyone noticed this, but Sir Pentious is a snake. According to biblical lore, seraphim are sometimes depicted as winged serpents. Now, no one can argue that Hazbin helluva is ever all that biblically accurate, but it is worth considering. They did get the six wings thing from some seraph interpretations, after all.
Extra Eyes: In his adorable heaven design, one of Sir Pentious’ defining traits is notably missing: the extra eyes that lined his hood and tail. He still has a few, but not as many. The Seraphim are also shown to have extra eyes, but they only appear sometimes, mostly when they experience strong emotion. So perhaps he will be the same? Additionally, the Seraphim each have an eye on their chest, and so does Pentious!
Tumblr media
Source: Fandom Wiki
Wings: I looked through all the heaven shots, and Sir Pentious is the only angel without visible wings. I could not figure this out for the longest time, but I just realized that there is one other angelic character who has wings that are not always present: Lucifer, who has six wings that suggest he may have been on the same or a similar level to the Seraphim.
Tumblr media
Source: Fandom Wiki
In conclusion, I would not be surprised if this theory turned out to not be true, but I would equally be unsurprised if it turned out to be 100% correct. We stan best snake, he deserves the world.

Hello, I kinda wanted to ask you about some takes on characters of Good Omens. It irks me that some people seem to hate on Aziraphale since the season 2 finale.
What is your opinion on all this discourse? If you have heard of some of those.
Anyway, I hope that you still have an awesome day or night!
(Maybe it would be better to just ignore takes and theories that you can’t stand. Who knows🤷🏼‍♀️)
Hi anon maggot! Yeah, I have seen some of the discourse around, though I try to avoid interacting with it. And personally, the finale made me love Aziraphale more than ever, because I saw the scene as a moment when he made the best of an awful situation, and tried to make the right choice.
As for the rest of the theories, I'll give you whatever advice I can, but bear in mind I haven't been in an online fandom space before, so I'm new to all this.
I'd probably advise you that, yep, ignoring theories you don't like is the only way to go. People are going to have differing opinions and takes, and they will inevitably clash.
And any kind of argument where either party is unwilling to change their opinion is usually a waste of time and energy, whether in fandom or real life. Things can get toxic very quickly.
Everyone is allowed their interpretations, that's the beauty of stories. Find your corner of the fandom and if you do interact with people having different theories to you, make sure you're in a headspace where the discussion is fun and informative rather than a toxic argument. Otherwise it's just going to upset you and quite possibly the other person too.
If other people interact with you in a way that feels uncomfortable or hostile, then you've always got the block button if they don't respect your boundaries :)
Most of all, remember fandom is a place that you came to so you could find happiness and community, not more toxicity, the real world has enough of that.
Stay safe and I hope you have an amazing day or night, anon maggot. All the love to you.

This is a bit of a wild theory, so feel free to ignore my ramblings, BUT-
I was talking to @impulsivefanwriter about Logan and his moms, and somehow I only just then realized that there’s the possibility Logan was adopted rather than being biologically related to one or maybe both of his moms (idk one could be trans or something).
ANYWAY, this made me have an absolutely WILD thought after the fact Logan has a unique form of dreamcrafting came up.
So, Logan’s dream form is blue, and that’s also a color he’s just generally heavily associated with, right? And he’s clearly got some kind of gift for dreamcrafting considering he can (limitedly) do it without an hourglass more than even Mateo could pre-Dream Forge.
This is to say: who else do we know with a unique ability for dreamcrafting and who is also associated with the color blue?
Tumblr media
LUNIA, BABY!
Am I saying Lunia could be Logan’s biological mother? Possibly.
Just THINK ABOUT IT- it would explain why Logan has this ability nobody else does, and, not to mention it makes sense within the story of Lunia for her to have had a child sometime before her final confrontation with the Nightmare King.
So, what do we know about the timeframe of Lunia’s last battle? Well, it must’ve happened when the current team of Dream Chasers were either very young or not born yet, seeing as Oz is visibly much younger during the fight.
(Here’s a comparison of present day Oz vs him during the final fight for reference)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway, we also know this whole thing started with Migo/the Nightmare King being upset Lunia wasn’t able to spend all her time with him. What if Lunia staying awake through countless nights because of her newborn baby is what drove him over the edge and caused him to attack her?
Anyway, again, this is a VERY wild theory I’m not 100% sure on myself, but it’s a fun thought and could be AU fodder someday, who knows!

my interpretation of stolas and blitz's relationship + ranting that goes nowhere
just look my way was the most beautiful mv ive ever seen. stolas 😭😭😭😭😭 bbg are you okay (he's not)
Tumblr media
i've read through the comments on this video and i agree with, well, all of them! one really struck me, though:
Tumblr media
i love this theory!
i have another one to add to this; several, actually!!
can the moon signify blitz's heavy emotional barrier? blitz is shown hiding behind the moon's outer crust in a protective position.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
what i think is that he's protecting his heart, his soul; one that has been hurt many times in the past. he's suffered through the accident that led to fizzarolli losing his arms, his horns, etc., he's been through a breakup for a relationship that meant to validate his feelings, that yes, he can love, he could have someone love him, but all that happened was a breakup and public humiliation at asmodeus's lounge. and then there's his presumably dead mother and frustrated sister.
blitz doesn't want that to happen again. he's built such an emotional wall around his heart and his body that he doesn't realize stolas loves him. he doesn't want to get hurt. he's shown tucked away into the depths of the moon, curled up.
now, stolas--
i've been thinking about him a lot. the end really got me theorizing. he falls into the water, and he reaches his hand out only to 'drown' and wake up to reality, the asmodeus crystal on his desk.
i love that segment of the song so so much!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
my favorite depressed owl boy hshshshshshshshhshs ily stolas <3
the moon affects the waves of the sea. it reflects its light on the water and no matter how far they go, they always go deep. the moon provides light for the creatures above and below. the sea is deep, it's alluring, and it drowns those who are too weak, cowardly, or overconfident.
stolas is drowning in it. the sea implies his deep feelings for blitz. what started as a one-night affair led to something more, and that was love. he's never been in love, and all this is new to him, but he's being acknowledged yet pushed away by blitz (see emotional barriers above). i feel like their emotions are mutual; however, neither can express it properly.
Tumblr media
stolas is trying so hard.
at face value, blitz seems... ignorant? cold? busy? i, on the other hand, think he's trying not to get too close. there was a theory in that episode's comment section that blitz is not too educated and is trying his best to communicate. i have mixed feelings about that one.
the lyrics signify stolas letting blitz making his own choice, whether he wants the crystals or if he wants to continue the deal. i fear blitz will have the wrong idea on seeing the crystals. hopefully they clear everything up??????????? i might be hoping too much for a show that's bound to end in tragedy 😔
one more thing!!!
Tumblr media
in the truth seekers episode, stolas had blitz on a leash.
could this mean that blitz thinks stolas is truly in control? that stolas decides where their relationship goes from now on?? stolas is royalty, so its natural blitz thinks so. he looks scared? hesitant? is he too hesitant... to do what? to accept stolas loves him? to accept that their relationship is bad in a way? to accept that he loves him? to accept what?!
stolas is smiling in this scene, but it was all a truth poison trip, meaning that's how blitz perceived him before. in the later episodes, i feel like this perception changed. it still hurts to see this, though.
tl;dr: the sea, or the water body seen near the end of the mv can either be stolas's deep feelings for blitz or a metaphor for his chaotic life. blitz has protective walls around his heart to protect himself from further harm. blitz feels stolas is in control of their relationship.
dear god this show is so well written- i could write more but alas i have other things to do

I think that Angel cannot go to heaven even if he redeems
Cause his soul doesn’t belong to him fully
He’s chained to Valentino and therefore to hell
That’s why this whole hotel thing didn’t work
This would be the cruelest thing ever if that’s true

IS THAT BILLY TYSOOOOOOOON??????!!!!!!!???????? 😱😱😱
No, Lemon. That is Charlie Swan, and I'm gonna let you in on a secret.
Charlie Swan is the Chief of Police from Forks, Washington. Due to no fault of his own, his daughter falls in love with a vampire and eventually becomes an immortal. This significant life change requires her to move towns every so often to avoid detection since she and her husband never age (and their random child who does age but also doesn't and is somehow fated to a werewolf like 25 years older than her...let's forget about that part). Maybe Charlie wants to go with her sometimes?
So, it was no surprise that "Billy Tyson" turned up in Austin, Texas. I know he'd allegedly been there for ages, but I DON'T BELIEVE IT. In fact, he's Charlie Swan by another name, concealing his identity by changing emergency services, growing a ratty beard. BUT WE KNOW. The penchant for plaid says it all.
(Ignore the fact that it would be very hard for Bella and Edward to live in Texas without sparkling constantly).
There's really no other explanation. Owen Strand should watch his back or Charlie I mean Billy is going to get his daughter or son in law to give him a little bitey bitey.

DO NOT REPLY WITH “Well I don’t think anyone will”. Answer on the basis of if someone did, who would.
My money’s on Ragatha or Caine. Ragatha because she’s the nice, “sensible” one who still obviously pushes down her inner dread. And that always ends well for people. Caine because he’s already losing it, and since he runs the game it would be absolutely insane

People debate about whether canon is more important than fanon or which one gets the "final say," but I think it's pointless because it's all fanon. Yes, you watch a specific set of events unfolding on screen, but you insert your own interpretations while you're watching it.
We might THINK that we're taking the series as it is without inserting our own theories, but that's not true. Two people can watch the same episode and have totally different interpretations, each thinking that they're right. Look at all the fandom discussions about characters and their motivations. That wouldn't happen if everyone just blankly watched episodes without thinking about it.
Even people who say that they only draw or write about canon scenes aren't really doing that. For example, if you draw art for a canon ship, you're still drawing a scene that doesn't exist in the show. And yet, it feels equally real to you.
Likewise, other media influences the way that you view the series. If you watch a live-action adaption of a novel, you have different mental images when you read the book again. Someone who hasn't watched the movie wouldn't view the book that way.
No objective "canon" exists. Even the people who worked on the series (writers, directors, actors, etc.) interpret their work a little differently. A book written by one person might be the closest, but the writer can't control the mental images that each reader creates.
Canon doesn't matter. It's all imaginative anyway.

BPP, hi
I choose to ask you this because you’re one of the most sane voices here. I got into BTS and KPop very recently (2022 Dec) and was consuming all kinds of available content (Run BTS, fancams, concert videos, shipper narratives) and fell in love with Jungkook and Jimin. You can say I am double bias.
From what I saw in the content I consumed, both JK and JM are very popular but JM was more popular (Idols bible, face of Kpop being some titles given to him). But then, I started seeing him diminish around dynamite era? And I have lurked on few blogs here who think the same. They think that the company forced Jimin to step back.
After what I’ve seen happen to Jimin during and post Face release, I am inclined to believe that the company actually never wanted him but only retained him because they also could see his power. Now that BTS are the best boy band in the world, Jimin doesn’t really matter and it breaks my heart so much to see that. I am Happy for Jungkook getting all these opportunities but it leaves such a sour taste in the mouth because everything evil that was hurled at Jimin is kind of what could apply to JK (I’m really not saying he should be targeted, I love Jungkook. but his fans literally collaborated with pinks to hate on Jimin).
Sorry, this is turning into a long ask/vent post. I have no hope that Jimins second album will get any kind of support and he will still get as much hate and it makes me wish he wasn’t a part of BTS, a group I got to love.
***
Sigh Anon,
You say you're a new fan so I'll skip most of what I want to say and be extra brief. I'll ask you three questions.
Did you know that until very recently, many people in the fandom, solos and not, were absolutely convinced PDogg had it out for Jimin? Yeah, P - "Park Jimin will end k-pop in 2023" - Dogg. They somehow reached the conclusion that BTS's main producer secretly hated Jimin and sabotaged him with hard-to-sing lines or hatefully prevented Jimin from singing at all. You'd often see them cite PDogg refusing Yoongi's offer of gifting People to Jimin for him to sing as a solo track. I've lost count of how many PJMs hated PDogg's guts based on those theories who are now singing PDogg's praises (though a faction still hate him for the autotune use, because we know Jimin had absolutely no say in the creative process and it certainly wasn't his idea, based on his interviews /s). I wonder what you think about that fan theory now and if that tells you anything about how fan theories are made.
With the little you've seen and know of Jimin so far, do you think he would sign up (a second time) for a work situation and relationship which is hostile to his growth as an artist and as a person? You say you've been following the FACE promotions so I wonder if you've watched all Jimin's interviews where he talks about the process and how the company/producers got involved.
Are you old enough to work in a corporate setting? Because even watching BTS's official content might not be enough for some people to get the full picture if they have little understanding of what healthy team dynamics look like in a work relationship to begin with. I think it's unlikely you're in this bracket of people Anon, but I'm asking just in case because most of the questions, theories, or concerns about mistreatment and favouritism in BTS can be dismissed just on the knowledge of how teams work. This ask I responded to on the 2022 Festa Dinner shows as much.
Feeling discontent with Jimin’s roll-out is totally valid. But it’s also possible you’ve found your way into the fandom spaces that traffic in mistreatment theories for the members you bias, typically solo stan and manti spaces, that new fans tend to fall into. I suggest you spend more time listening to Jimin, not his stans and not me. (But if you have follow-up questions I’ll try to answer.)
Goodluck.

My best guesses on which cultures/countries Tamora Pierce bases her places and peoples off of. Obviously these aren't perfect copies, but more of where the idea may have come from.
Tortall is definitely Europe. Knights, castles, European names like John and George, ect. Easy.
Bazhir Desert: this one is trickier. Very likely based on Arab deserts or the Sahara and the peoples who live there. It's very ambiguous, just a basic desert culture, not a ton of world building here, but it's been a long time since I've read the Lioness books.
Galla and Scanra: I believe these are both based off Northern countries, with Scanra definitely based on Viking culture. Galla is less so, more like Lithuania or Poland, but neither is Russia. We will get to Russia in a bit.
Sairen and K'miri: Definitely Mongolia and steppe people and place.
Roof of the World: Tibet
Carthak: Egypt. Definitely based on ancient Egypt. Crocodiles, hyenas, lots of gold and darker skinned people. Old, powerful and center of learning.
Yamani Islands: Japan. I don't need to elaborate.
Copper Isles: This one I think is a bit of a mix of Indonesia and Hawaii.
Now, for Circle of Magic! (aka the fun and interesting culture and worldbuilding)
Emelan and the Pebbled Sea: Definitely Mediterranean, but I'm not sure which. My best guess is a sorta Turkey/Persian influence. It's not as obvious as Tortall. I believe the Chandlers and Tris are from a more Italian culture, probably from a country up North, but close enough to border Emelan and making travel easy. The whole merchant family thing made me think of Italy.
Traders: Likely based of Roma/Romani people. Trading caravans and largely persecuted. Not an exact copy, but similar.
Namorn: Russia! Definitely Russia. Large empire, very cold, far north and uses vaguely Russian terms. Powerful and not to be messed with.
Tharios: This one was tricky and fascinating. Probably ancient Greece, but I believe there were some other influences. The world building was massive as the plot directly involved the culture of the city. We also view the city from the scholarly but judgemental eyes of Tris.
Chammur: My best guess is India. Briar is more concerned with gangs and Evy so he doesn't really let us see the city as well. But India seems like a fair bet.
Yanjing: China. No needed discussion here lol.
Gyongxe: I'm guessing Tibet, again. The Roof of the World was way too quick, so Im glad Tamora re-visited this culture in a better way. Who knows, the Shang Dragon was very Chinese inspired, maybe Alanna did travel that far and missed Briar, Rosethorn and Evy by a few years! I'm still firm in the belief that all the books are in the same world.
If you agree or disagree with my picks, feel free to comment and propose your own theories! Or if I missed a country.

I hate to say this and I hope I’m wrong but given the behind the scenes of filming ….. I think Jiara isn’t gonna be a thing in season 4. Either there gonna have it be over before the season starts or have it end during the season. Everything is just off and it sucks …. It was such a good slow burn . I’m late to the party but omg I’m down so bad for Jiara and that’s why I really hope this isn’t the case but the more I read things, see videos and think about it . Sigh …..

Proven
So I don’t know if I’d call these “theories” of mine or just me properly picking up on clues by the story but not explicitly said. Nevertheless, here’s some of the ideas that I had that got proven right by Working on a song.
Papers-
Tumblr media
I always thought of this. As he breaks in without crossing any boarder , without a ticket and most importantly- not dead.
Flowers and memory-
Tumblr media
With this my main idea of flowers was that it was always about being dead/a shade (Greek ghosts don’t have a fun time at all). Forgetting, being mad and upset at forgetting and being aware you don’t remember at once. I also like the detail that in the show they work on the river rather then drink from it— it’s the endless work that does it.
Source of strength-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is something I see about everyone talk about- how his strength/confidence comes from having a crowd (he sings the world sings back) and that sort. It’s nice and heartbreaking to see everyone’s right?
Because his faith never resided within him to begin with

Ollie Theory
So I have a theory about Ollie, and its a big claim with little evidence, but here it is:
Tumblr media
I think Ollie could be Poppy's Partner Toy
So here is my reasoning, for one, they act very similar both as guides, both get annoyed when you don't do what they tell you to fast enough, both weirdly like you killing others.
A theme you can notice in the main toys of Poppy Playtime is they come in duos. We have Huggy and Kissy, Mommy and Daddy, Catnap and Dogday, and with the names even matching, it could be that Poppy and Ollie are a duo as well. Perhaps Ollie was a male dole model that did not get finished before the Hour of Joy, or had problems with it, and therefore did not go into market before everything went down.
Tumblr media
This duo theory also brings up another hypothesis though. As many people think Poppy has been toying with us and could be evil, since Ollie has been introduced people suspect they could be toying with us too. But with the duo theory, comes a statement. Every duo we have met usually has the one who is our enemy, and one who is our friend. Huggy wanted to kill us well Kissy wanted to help, Mommy wanted to see us die [we don't know what happened to Daddy at all], Catnap wanted to get rid of us well Dogday tried to get us to save ourselves. so that brings up the question of which of Poppy and Ollie is really our friend, and which is using us for their entertainment.
If you like this idea or would like to say your argument for it, please comment, I have not heard of anyone else make this hypothesis yet.

Headcanon and question: Jedi talking to the Force but outloud *referencing a post by mysteryteacup I saw on pinterest* is ok the same wavelength as Jessica Saiyadina in Dune muttering to her fetus Alia while in the presence of the Fremen.... like how creepy would that be and another thing that sets them apart from others? To hear the Force and speak back while in the presence of those who don't hear in the first place? Living gods or empowered lunatics?
