Hello there! My name is Jodi and I'm 54 years old. I am disabled and live alone with my furry friends - a dog and a cat. They are my constant companions and help me stay grounded. Unfortunately, my car was wrecked in March 2019 while my neighbor was driving it to work. I let her borrow it before and I was just grateful that she wasn't hurt. I later found out, however, that she did not have her license nor did she have insurance. I only had liability insurance, and the loss of my car has made it hard for me to get to my medical appointments. I have to rely on insurance transportation, but sometimes they are late or don't show up, which causes me to miss my appointments. I also have to ask others for rides to the grocery store, church, family functions, or any other activity I would like to do. I feel isolated and restricted because of my lack of transportation.
While my neighbor did give me some money for a new ...to read full post click on the link

༺Why they treat you differently༻
Lately I have been struggling with being treated differently, by my family and friends and even about my opinions online. It’s been frustrating trying to figure out why people talk about me or why they criticize me or why I always have this feeling about certain people talking about me behind my back and it always coming out later on that I was right.
Two answers: you’re a child of God and the Holy Spirit
They treat you differently because you ARE DIFFERENT, the way you act walk and talk, you carry yourself differently than they do and everyone seems to notice but you, You know there are certain things you can’t do or say because you’re a child of God and The Father hold his children accountable and he expects more from us so we also have to put more action into that than most people.
You’ll be hated by many but ALWAYS loved and held close by your loving Father, always and forever, it might hurt now but soon you’ll not even want to be associated with the people that keeps rejecting you let alone accept by them, focus on God and yourself there’s no time right now to be worried about people that isn’t worried about you.
John 15- 18
"If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. 20 Do you remember what I told you? 'A slave is not greater than the master.' Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you. They will do all this to you because of me, for they have rejected the one who sent me.”
The Holy Spirit is there giving you these feelings for a reason, now sometimes I freak out and wonder if it’s my anxiety or what I’m hearing is right but the difference between the Holy Spirit and anxiety is, anxiety will make you wonder and worry and the Holy Spirit will calmly tell you and not worry you about it from what I have gathered.
What I have learned is the Holy Spirit was telling me people were talking about me behind my back so I would be quiet about things in my life and not over share. Ever since then I have been really careful about that.
You’re different and that’s okay, you don’t need to be accepted by everyone or ANYONE at all only God matters. Stop worrying that you did something wrong even after doing everything “right” it doesn’t matter what you do for them, what you say to them you’ll always be rejected by them because you BELONG TO GOD. You’ll always be accepted by your Father ♡
