Wow I truly haven’t posted anything to tumblr in ages. I also haven’t been drawing in ages, but slightly less of an age, so I’ll chuck some new art up to celebrate my homecoming, and bury some of my older stuff in the feed. Here’s a dump of my d&d designs I’ve picked at on and off of the two characters I’ve been actively playing the most! Excellence (Exie), my darling archfey patron bardlock tiefling menace (+ her sailor dilf who I never finished the tattoos of) and Cadric, who’s successfully graduated from Some Dude to a full grown, big boy paladin of Torm (+ a bonus of the rogue who thieved the heart right out of his chest).

I'm glad I looked past the first sentences of aftg, which really made me want to just close the book and never open it again. After a while, I somehow fell in love with that mess 💓

No specific scene or anything, just thought about how I imagine Andrew, Aaron and Kevin could look like (kind of at least)

one of my favorite things about aftg is that in any given conversation not related to about, like, three things (exy, Andrew, and the mafia) Neil is just. entirely checked out. he was there for the first sentence of that conversation and immediately clocked out once he realized there would be no Stick Ball Talk.

Kevin *when Neil isnt hearing*: he is one of the best strickers to ever play exy, he will make court and win the olympics before 25, he'll be remember in history as one of the best exy players

I love the aftg main trio because it’s like the butcher of Baltimore’s son who has managed to make it out alive, an actual fucking guard dog in human form, and national sensation exy star Kevin day. It has real “I am here for yakuza negotiations. I have brought my body guard boyfriend, and also celebrity Kevin day is here. He wouldn’t stop crying when we tried to leave.”

Sometimes, I think about the fact that Wymack is Kevin's dad, and I want to weep. He dedicated his entire life to helping others who had grown up like he had, only to find out that his own son had grown up a caged and abused wreck? That's a level of pain that I can't even fathom.

My hc is that not only do Neil and Kevin host their own Exy Podcast as a side hobby but at one point Kevin is explaining a very funny Exy anecdote and the two of them Crack up so hard that the fans realise that Kevin's real non-public persona laugh is filled with cute hiccups and snorts. And that Neil Jostens laugh is adorably wheezy
