distracting exo while they’re on the phone (m)
warnings: exhibitionism, language
a/n: this was originally uploaded to my old writing blog on january 29th, 2019, in two parts because it was too long, but now i decided to merge them.

Your make out session on the bed had just gotten very rudely interrupted when someone had decided to call your boyfriend. He was lying beneath you, elbows propping him up as he talked to Jongdae about recording schedules tomorrow. He kept glancing at you sympathetically, free hand holding one of yours.
You had been straddling his lap, and you could feel his cock getting softer with every passing moment. Eventually your patience wore thin, and you decided to take matters into your own hands.
“Well, yeah, like I said, I’d have to talk to Chanyeol about— Oh.” You watched in amusement as his eyes bulged comically as you rocked your hips forward against his, gaze flying up to meet yours as you smirked from your position on top of it.
You did it again, and the hand holding yours instantly went to grab at your hip, and you weren’t sure if it was to spur you on or stop you.
“W-what? Yeah, yeah, I-I just got distracted for a moment,” He replied, voice breathy as he bucked his hips up into yours to get more friction.
You threw your head back in exhilaration, feeling your arousal burn violently in the pit of your stomach at the thought of Minseok having to keep quiet when he was normally so vocal with you.
“Uh, y-yeah,” You heard him grunt, “I think that’d be a good vocal arrangement… Hey, Jongdae? I’m gonna have to c-call you back later.”
You looked back down as he hung up and practically threw his phone away, eyes trying to burn a hole through you.
“You think you can get away with that, dirty girl, can you?” He asked lowly, wickedly, as he sits up, face centimeters away from yours as one hand pulls you closer to him, and the other grabs your face to ensure you don’t look away, “You think you’re funny, jagiya, do you?”
You grinned maliciously, before nodding slowly, challenging him with your gaze. You weren’t going to be walking tomorrow.

It had been weeks since you and Junmyeon had gone beyond makeout sessions accompanied by heavy petting due to lack of time, and you were starting to get desperate. So when he asked if you wanted to spend the night, watch a movie and order takeout at his place, you didn’t hesitate to say yes.
Needless to say, you were determined to get laid that night. You shaved your legs, exfoliate, moisturized, and even ensured that your bra and panties matched.
Everything was going great, you had resisted jumping on your boyfriend, waiting until the right moment. You were halfway through Black Panther, cuddling into his form, when his cellphone rang.
You weren’t frustrated when he picked up, but after almost twenty minutes discussing a choreography with Jongin, it was safe to say that you were a little pissed off. And then an idea popped into your head.
You watched as he furrowed his eyebrows as you dropped to your knees, quietly undoing his belt and staring up at him. “What the fuck are you doing—” He hissed quietly, before focusing back on the conversation, “Uhh, yeah, I think that would work too.”
Pulling his member out of his boxers, you stroked him slowly to full hardness, eyes not leaving his as they stared darkly at you, stern and menacing. You pressed your thighs together before pressing your lips to the tip, teasing his cock with kitten licks all around the base.
Junmyeon practically jumped out of his seat when you finally took him into your mouth, nostrils flaring as he inhaled sharply. His free hand twitched before going to run a hand through his hair, and his eyes fluttered shut.
“B-but Jongin, if we— hnng, fuck— what? N-no, I’m just cooking, the, uhh, oil almost burned me, anyway— if we put Baekhyun in the center th-there I think it’d look better.”
You smirked as best you could with his cock in your mouth at his excuse as he listened to Jongin’s response, and oh, if looks could kill, you would be dead on the spot. You hummed in satisfaction before relaxing your throat and taking him as deep as you could, actually managing to press your nose against his pelvis.
You saw his eyes roll up back into his head as he gritted his teeth, any thought of Jongin gone as he pressed the mute button for the call, and groaning out as his free hand went to tangle itself in your hair as he began to fuck your mouth in earnest.
“You wanna be a good slut? Choke on it, baby girl.”

Nights with Yixing were always calm. You would sit next to him on the bed, reading a book or scrolling through your phone as he worked on his laptop, before going to bed and cuddling each other to sleep.
Tonight, however, was slightly different, seeing as how when he got into bed, ready to sleep, his cell phone rang. You were already trying to fall asleep, but the ring tone caused you to jolt awake, and he rose from the bed to grab the phone from where it was resting on the desk on the other end of the room.
“Hi, Sehun. Is this important? Yeah… I was getting into bed just now. Okay…”
You listened to the conversation drag on for a few minutes, Yixing’s eyes darting back to you every now and then as he spoke to Sehun. You could tell he was looking for a way out of the conversation. But you could also tell that, despite his lack of interest in the conversation, he felt obligated to be there for Sehun.
So you took matters into your own hands, standing quietly to approach him, before hugging him from the back, your arms around his waist. He stiffened slightly when you stood on the tips of your toes so that your mouth could suck on his skin.
“Come to bed, baby,” You murmured softly, one hand dragging itself downwards to press itself against his hips, before going even lower, “I miss you.” You felt him shake slightly when you bit down gently on his neck, and pressing down on his hardening member.
“Y-yeah, I’m still here, Sehun. Well, I’m sure Baekhyun didn’t mean any harm when he said that…”
He bucked into your hand, and quickly you dipped it under his black boxers to begin to stroke him slowly, thumb massaging the tip softly, touch barely felt. You began to mouth across his jaw, and he relaxed in your arms. “S-Sehun, I really have to get to bed. We can talk about this tomorrow, right?”
You heard Sehun from the other line, begin to say, “Well, yeah, but don’t you think—?” Before Yixing hung up, set the phone down and spun around to kiss you roughly. You moaned into the kiss as he pressed his hips into yours.
“Fuck, I love you so much,” He murmured, before tugging you towards the bed.

Baekhyun had made you answer countless calls while going down on you, but you never thought about doing something like that to him up until now. Not until you were stuck in traffic, with him prattling on to Kyungsoo about the note changes in a song they were working on.
Before your conversation had been cut short, Baekhyun had decided to rest his hand on your thigh, causing your thoughts to drift into darker territory. You were currently reeling from getting so worked up over the feeling of his hand resting over your skin.
“Yeah, Kyungsoo-yah, I thought it was difficult too but that’s just because you’re going too slow during the vocal run. Once you have it down slowly, pick up the pace.”
You studied your boyfriend, how good he looked today. How firm his grip was on your thigh with one hand, the other on the wheel, Kyungsoo on speaker while you held it up for him. His dark hair was pushed back, bare face on display for you and you only. You bit your lip, and he met your gaze.
Whatever Kyungsoo was saying entered through one of your ears and out the other, then watching Baekhyun’s lips move as he responded. Your only focus was how his grip tightened on your thigh as his eyes looked at your face, and the next thing you knew you were reaching for his dick with your free hand, and his hand was sliding up your skirt.
“No, Soo,” Baekhyun said softly, voice slightly deeper as he traced his finger down your clothed slit while you rubbed him over his pants, “You have to do it slowly.”
He emphasized the word slowly by rolling his hips against your hand, obviously aroused by what was going on, and the double meaning couldn’t be any more obvious. Your head tipped back in the seat and you heard him inhale sharply.
You couldn’t focus on what Kyungsoo was saying, because your hand was gripping him harder and you could now grip his cock firmly as you stroked up and down, while your hips began to rock against his hand.
Your eyes fell open to meet Baekhyun’s, whose eyes were dilated and watching you with a predatory gaze. “Yeah,” He murmured to Kyungsoo, voice not wavering for a second, “Just like that.”
Your legs spread further as you felt his hand slip past your panties, and you bit your lip to keep from moaning. “Yeah, yeah. I’ll call you back, okay? Something just, uh, came up.”
You pressed the end call button, and not a second after you did you mewled softly. “Baekhyun, fuck…”
He groaned, eyes settling back onto the road as the light turned green, and his hand retreated from your wet core to settle back on the steering wheel, and you whined in protest. “Just wait till we get home, babe. You can touch all you want then.”

You were actually already in the middle of going down on him when his phone rang. You pulled off of him reluctantly, still grasping him with one hand as he attempted to catch his breath.
“Hey, Yixing, what’s going on?” He murmured, before pursing his lips. You squeezed his member teasingly, and you saw his eyes widen before falling back down to you.
Don’t you dare, he mouthed, staring at you when you began to stroke him again slowly, but the way his cock twitched gave him away: he was enjoying this.
You grinned back at him as he was forced to focus on Yixing’s words.
“Yeah, I-I think so too, maybe we should say something to Junmyeon about it—” He slapped his hand over his mouth, biting back a moan, as you trailed your mouth down his member before sliding back up, taking the tip into your mouth.
“Hello, Jongdae?” You heard Yixing say on the other line, voice muffled. You met his eyes, your gaze flashing as it darted to the phone and then back to him, and you didn’t need to pull away from him to tell him, answer him, keep going.
“I’m here, hyung, wh-what were you saying?” His voice was trembling, and you wondered if Yixing could tell. You continued to suckle on the tip for a few moments, before preparing yourself for the next moment Jongdae opened his mouth. Arousal pooled between your legs, and you wondered what your boyfriend would do once he finished the call.
“Well, I’m not really s-sure, I think it would be best if we just— ahh, fuck!” He exclaimed loudly, as you swallowed down as much as you could, before hollowing your cheeks.
“Jongdae, what—?”
You watched from below as Jongdae hung up and tossed the phone aside, before pulling you off and into a rough kiss. You swallowed each other’s moans greedily, and he pulled away, his hand tangling in your hair.
“You realize he’s gonna call back soon and make sure I wasn’t murdered, right?” He panted out, and you laughed.
“That’s what I’m counting on.”

It was after a broadcast that you met up with Chanyeol, and he immediately dragged you into the bedroom… to finally watch the show you’d been talking about watching. Cuddling on top of your boyfriend, a bag of unfinished potato chips next to you on the bed.
It was in the middle of the second episode of The Good Place that Chanyeol’s phone went off, and you paused the show as he reached over to the nightstand to answer.
“Hi, hyung. Huh? Not much, Y/N and I are just watching that show I was talking to you about yesterday. What, right now?”
He glanced at you for a second, frowning, and you shook your head, smiling softly up at him. I don’t mind, your expression conveyed, go ahead.
He smiled back, before launching back into his conversation with Junmyeon. Which proceeded to last a half hour.
Lying on top of Chanyeol’s chest, listening to his voice as you felt the vibrations as his voice rumbled through his chest was relaxing, but at the same time, you never had much alone time with Chanyeol anymore, and the one time you finally managed to get him to yourself, duty calls and now he’s talking to Junmyeon about goddamn chord progressions.
So yes, you were a little impatient, but not for long. Suddenly, an idea popped into your head, and you smirked to yourself before launching it into action.
You adjusted your position, now lying on top of him as he furrowed his eyebrows, trying to focus on what Junmyeon was saying as he watched you basically straddle him. A few seconds later, you pressed your lips to his collarbone, and you felt him tense beneath you.
“Maybe we could adjust that in the studio tomorrow? I-I think it could use some tidying up on the backing vocals too,” He suggested into the phone, and you grinned to yourself at how well he was keeping his voice steady. So you decided to kick it up a notch, trailing your lips up to below his ear.
“Hi, daddy,” You murmured, so only he could hear, “Are you gonna pay attention to me?”
Chanyeol shut his eyes, feeling your hand trail down to his crotch. “H-hey, hyung? I’m gonna have to call you back tomorrow.”
The second he hung up he was rolling on top of you, trapping you beneath his large frame. “You can’t last a second without me paying attention to you, can you? Fuck, baby.”

Kyungsoo had been talking to Baekhyun about the show they had coming up in a few days while you were finishing up an assignment for your classes. You didn’t mind at all, this was commonplace.
Once you finished, however, you sat back in the couch, settling your feet in his lap as you relaxed, looking at him. He looked back at you, smiling softly, before gesturing for you to come and sit closer to him.
You sat up, shuffling closer to him to cuddle into his form, and you sighed happily. You really appreciated these moments between you and your boyfriend, your hand going up to rest on his chest.
You looked up at him to find he was staring at you, gaze warm and happy, and you leaned up to press a kiss against his jaw. He sighed deeply in satisfaction, and so you didn’t see any point in stopping. Your hand rose to cup his face, and you felt Kyungsoo go lax beneath you.
“What? Uhh, yeah, I think that would look nice too. We’d, uh, have to talk about that with the stylist noonas, you know…”
Kyungsoo wasn’t one to stumble over his words, that you knew. So you pulled away to look at him, finding his pupils blown out, skin flushed. You grinned, slowly straddling his thigh as you went back to kissing across his jaw, hands cupping his face.
You bit back a moan when Kyungsoo tensed his thigh against your center, and you gasped softly, laughing softly to yourself as your mouth trailed down to his neck, before beginning to rock your hips against his leg.
“Don’t stop,” You whispered into his free ear, where he wasn’t holding the phone up to, and he grabbed the back of your neck as he pulled the phone away from his ear, so that the sound of his lips smacking against yours wouldn’t be heard.
He pressed his thigh against your core even harder, and your hips bucked, before speeding up even more. You felt your core tightening as you were now rutting against him desperately, shamelessly. He pulled away from your lips, before pressing his phone back to his ear.
“Yeah,” He murmured, voice gravelly, before gently pushing you off, “You’re totally right, hyung.”
He stood, sending you a smug grin as he walked away from you, while you simply sat and stared at what him, core burning, lips swollen, in disbelief of what had just happened.
Kyungsoo had just beaten you at your own game. Unfortunately, you were a bit of a sore loser.

You sat up from the bed as he pulled away from you to pick up his phone which was on a table on the other side of the room, leaving you desperate for his touch. You fumed as he pulled up his pants, back to you, ignoring your stern, frustrated gaze as he mumbled out a soft, “Hello?”
Even from where you were lying on the bed, legs spread out for your boyfriend, still half-dressed, you could hear Baekhyun’s enthusiastic greeting, and how he immediately launched into their plans for getting dinner with the rest of the members of the group. You loved Baekhyun, but did he really have to interrupt now of all times?
You threw your head back onto your pillows, sighing as Jongin responded to Baekhyun with that I’m-not-interested-but-for-your-sake-I’m-pretending-to-be tone that you could recognize in his voice after so long.
You stared up at the ceiling before thinking of something to distract him from whatever Baekhyun was rambling on about now, biting your lips in anticipation as you ran your hands down your body, pulling up your skirt.
“Pssst,” You hissed to Jongin, “Hey, Jongin.”
He turned, eyebrows furrowed as he tried to focus on what Baekhyun was saying and also get you what you wanted, just in time to see you pulling your panties to the side. His eyes widened, and you saw him swallow thickly.
“Yeah, hyung,” He answered hoarsely as your middle finger traced itself up and down your slit, and you sighed in satisfaction. “Y-yeah, hyung, I could pick you up tomorrow.”
Your head tipped back as you slipped your pointer finger inside of yourself, spreading your legs even more for Jongin to get a better view. You let out a whimper, loud enough for him to hear but not enough for Baekhyun to pick up on the other side of the phone.
You bit your lip, fingers from your other hand finding your clit, rubbing slowly and gently before picking up the pace. You felt yourself clench against your fingers, knowing that Jongin is watching you as he’s on the phone.
“Jongin,” You murmured, desperate for his hands on your skin, “Please.”
Jongin hung up the phone without even saying goodbye, and the next thing you know, his hands are pulling yours away from your core and replacing them with his own as he aggressively presses his lips to yours.
When Baekhyun rings again a few seconds later, he doesn’t bother in getting up.

You were just about to get to the best part when the phone rang. You were straddling Sehun’s hips, bare on top of him as he lay beneath you, naked as well. His member sat below you, against his stomach, steadily leaking precum as he waited for you. Your center was a few inches away as you hovered over him, just about to grab his member to finally feel him.
Sehun’s expression morphed quickly. He had been smirking up at you with a teasing and challenging gaze as he gripped your hips possessively, but once the phone rang, it twisted into a confused and, dare you say, irritated pout.
“Hello?” He asked, voice disinterested as you stared down at him in slight disbelief. You were two seconds away from sitting on his dick and decides to pick up the phone? Lovely. Just peachy.
“Hi, Chanyeol hyung. Uhh, what’s up?”
You leaned back, resting your hands on his firm thighs. He jumped slightly, before glaring pointedly up at you as he continued to press the phone to his ear. “I’m kind of busy, hyung. I don’t think I’ll be able to talk for very long.”
An idea popped into your head the minute you registered his reaction to your hands on his thighs. You gulped slightly, wondering how bad you’d get it once he hung up the phone, decided, fuck it, and then straddled his member, and grinded it between your wet lips.
Sehun’s eyes squeezed shut, and his jaw clenched, and you licked your lips at the intimidating glow in his eyes once they opened again a few seconds later. He wasn’t happy, and you pressed yourself down more insistently on him, hands tightening on his thighs.
Sehun’s nostrils flared at the action, and he bit back a groan. “Hyung,” He said firmly, matter-of-factly, “Y'know, I’d love to help, but you called just as I was about to dance the horizontal tango with Y/N. I’ll call you back later.”
You heard Chanyeol’s voice on the other line, as he began to reply, “I didn’t need to know that, but o—”
Sehun hung up the phone, Chanyeol was cut off by the phone beeping, and your boyfriend sat up to tackle you, grinding harshly against you.
“Fuck, you’re such a tease. Baby girl’s so desperate to sit on my dick, she couldn’t wait another second, huh?”
You whimpered, bucking your hips as the tip of his dick tapped against your clit, and he groaned. “That’s it, baby. So good.”

[INTERVIEW] Lay - 200819 Rolling Stone India: “How Lay Zhang Claimed The Throne of M-pop”
"The singer-songwriter and producer offers an in-depth look into his latest record Lit,’ his evolution as an artist and finding the balance between East and West
Tumblr media
When I last spoke to Lay Zhang in 2018, he was embarking on an ambitious but daunting journey to bring Mandarin pop aka M-pop to the world. “I hope they think, ‘This artist isn’t bad,’” he had said with some trepidation in his voice. “I hope that they find my music special and maybe… they’ll want to learn more about me and Chinese music.” The singer-songwriter and producer aspired to create a true hybrid of traditional and modern music, a sound that defines our generation’s ability to package the past for the future.
Zhang, more commonly known by his stage name LAY, first debuted in 2012 as a member of world-famous K-pop group, EXO. Although he remains a member of the group, he’s spent the last couple of years in China to focus on a solo career and spotlight his own country’s burgeoning pop scene. It’s a process he kicked off with his second studio album Namanana in 2018, but he was still some time away from realizing his dream of pushing Chinese pop to a global stage.
It’s been nearly two years since our conversation for Rolling Stone India’s November 2018 cover feature, and any signs of trepidation are a thing of the past for LAY. We could chalk it up to him being two years older and wiser, but I’d like to think it’s because he kept his promise to bring M-pop to the world. If Namanana was just a dip in the pool of fusion experimentation, his latest studio album Lit is the deep dive.
“It is the evolution of M-pop for me,” LAY explains. “I wanted to take it to another level. When you hear the Chinese instruments, you know it is a different sound and vibe. The style is more pop, R&B, and hip-hop influenced with the Chinese instruments thoughtfully mixed in.” Comprising a total of 12 songs (all written and co-produced by LAY) Lit was released as two EPs instead of one LP; the first dropped in June while the second made its appearance in July. Nearly every track presents a fresh blend of traditional Chinese instruments like the hulusi, guzheng, flutes and gong with modern genres like trap, R&B, soul, hip-hop, future bass, dubstep and more. It’s a complex, refined and intricate record, utilizing production techniques that clearly outline LAY’s growth as an artist over the past two years. In retrospect, Namanana comes across a slightly more naive record–innocent and optimistic with a hope that international audiences would embrace both M-pop and LAY. Lit however seeks to take a different path and carves out the future LAY envisions with cool confidence and fearless production.
Tumblr media
The tracks seesaw smoothly from Mandarin to English and back, with LAY showcasing both his vocal and rap skills. It’s an extremely powerful and expansive album, hair-raising at some moments due to the sheer surprises the artist packs in (at one point I hear what sounds like the tabla on “Call My Name” and it catches me totally off-guard.) Some of the collaborators on the record include big names like hip-hop hitmaker Murda Beatz, Grammy Award-winning producer Scott Storch, composer and producer Mitchell Owens and Grammy-nominated songwriter Mike Daley to name a few. For the title track “Lit,” LAY recruited China-native Anti-General who created a vicious and chilling trap/dubstep beat to complement lyrics that decimate LAY’s haters, gossip-mongers and the media, challenging them to come forward and take him down if they dare. The track sees the singer-songwriter rightfully crown himself a ‘king’ and leader in the music industry.
If that wasn’t enough, the music video for “Lit” is without a doubt one of the best released in 2020. With hundreds of extras, dancers, impeccable CGI and a compelling storyline, it’s more movie than music video, portraying LAY as a warrior king who refuses to be defeated. As executive producer, music director and co-choreographer on the project, LAY pays homage to China’s rich history and culture with tons of historical references and traditional symbolism. I tell him I particularly loved the symbolism of a white lotus emerging untouched and pure from the black ink–representing LAY’s rise in the industry–and he shares that the magnificent dragon that appears at the end was his personal favorite. “It was super important that we added it in,” he says. “It represents my wishes, aspirations and my relentless desire to always pursue perfection in the works that I create. I want my dancing, visuals, and music to be the very best it possibly can be.”
Lit is also thematically more complex and layered than any of LAY’s previous works, exploring concepts that revolve around confidence, love, fame, the media, success and more. “The album continues to explore chasing your dream,” the singer explains. “This time it’s about more personal things in my life. Like hometown, family and self-doubt.” A phonetic play on the word for lotus (莲 / lian) in Mandarin, ‘lit’ is a clever pun used to describe LAY’s similarity to a lotus and his prowess as a musician. He named the album after the lotus because of the symbolism of it growing and blossoming from dirt or mud. The lotus also continues the theme of duality with Lit’s two-part release, and, according to LAY’s team, “represents a new birth plus a new sound in the midst of all his past achievements.”
The album’s success more than speaks for itself– when the pre-order for Lit went live on China’s QQ Music streaming platform, nine certification records were instantly broken as it surpassed 1.5 million pre-orders within seven minutes and 19 seconds. This immediately pushed the EP to Number One on QQ Music’s daily and weekly album sales charts. Lit has also made LAY the best-selling artist in China in 2020, with a whopping 2.5 million records sold. It’s a testament to his drive and determination as an artist, the attention to detail and refusal to back down. The record’s international success was no less, hitting top 10 positions on iTunes charts across 32 countries, bagging 21 Number One spots and firmly cementing LAY’s position as the global megastar that he is.
Tumblr media
Some things however, never change; brand deals, TV shows, multiple singles, EPs and collaborations keep his schedule completely booked and– just like back in 2018– it’s extremely tough to pin him down for a conversation. He’s currently in the middle of filming a reality show and has several other projects in the pipeline, but still makes the time to catch up and answer a few questions for Rolling Stone India. In this exclusive interview, LAY details his most successful record yet, the journey of finding the balance between East and West, dealing with the dark side of media attention and why the relationship between an artist and their fans needs to be a two-way street.
Congratulations on the release and tremendous success of Lit! It is an absolutely phenomenal record and I was thrilled to see you explore so many new streams of production. Can you tell me a little bit about the process of making this album and do you feel you met your own expectations for it?
For this album I wanted to mix in Chinese traditional instruments and tell Chinese stories. It is the evolution of M-pop for me. I wanted to take it to another level. When you hear the Chinese instruments you know it is a different sound and vibe. It is hard to say if I met my own expectations. As an artist you never ever feel your work is perfect. You can always find spots where you can improve. But I think what I was able to do with my team in the time we had was great.
You dove deeper into the fusion of tradition and modernity on this album than Namanana—there was a larger variety of Chinese instruments used as well as bilingual wordplay with language in the lyrics. In what ways do you feel you’ve evolved as a producer and songwriter since that album to Lit?
I am still trying to find the right style and combination to share my music and Chinese culture with the world. Lit was an example of my growth. I had this desire to include traditional stories and instruments from Chinese culture. Trying to find the balance with the Western music was challenging. I had to think and spend a lot of time arranging the chords around and fitting everything together. Also with this album I am talking about things in a more personal level and taking time to explain with more of an artistic style. I feel like I am growing up on this journey.
Lit is the first part of a series of EPs which will make a whole LP—why did you want to release it in this format and when did you begin working on the record?
I split it into two parts to give time to people to listen to it. I feel like if I released 12 songs at once, people may not give enough time to listen to each track. But when there are just six tracks each time, then it gives people time to listen more carefully. I started this project maybe early 2019.
The title track “Lit” is about your battle with the media, hateful netizens and malicious comments/rumors. Does it get easier over time to deal with this obsessive analysis of your life or does it never really ebb away?
It will always bother you, but over time you learn to deal with it. You focus on it less and less and back on what you love doing. When I make my music or learn dance or do anything I love, I kind of forget about it. Just focus on your goals and dreams and everything else becomes background noise.
The music for “Lit” is, in my opinion, the best of 2020 so far. Can you tell me a little about your role as the executive producer and music director on this project? How did the concept come about?
I was very involved in the project. I oversaw a lot of things that happened and discussed with almost everyone on the team on how to achieve my vision. When I was making the song I was thinking about how do we share Chinese culture. I thought filming in an ancient palace would catch people’s attention. It took off from there when discussing with the director. We started adding more and more elements of Chinese culture. We were trying to tell the story of Xiang Yu, a warlord who rebelled against the mighty Qin Dynasty but wasn’t able to conquer China. I’m Xiang Yu, but I’m trying to change my fate and succeed in my goal.
You incorporated Chinese Peking Opera in the music video version of the track and visual elements of Peking Opera in the album art for “Jade”–What was the motivation behind that decision and is there a particular story that the opera section references?
I wanted to bring people back in time to ancient China. I reference the traditional Chinese story of Xiang Yu and his love, Concubine Yu, so then I added in select passages from the Peking Opera Farewell My Concubine which tells their tragic story.
You displayed your incredible skills in dancing in this music video and you recently talked about how dancing was a way for you to show the audience who you are. Did you feel a sense of relief that the audience can see you or understand you a bit better after the release of “Lit”? Can the audience ever truly understand an artist?
It feels good to know people can see me and understand me more. I don’t think people can ever understand an artist completely. But they can relate to many things. I think that is a challenge for an artist to see how they can use their music to connect with people. It is a worthy challenge.
How do you hope that the artist you are today crafts the Lay Zhang of tomorrow?
I always believe in working hard and improving. I hope that the Lay Zhang of tomorrow continues to keep looking for ways to improve his art. I hope he never gives up his dreams.
Last time we spoke, we talked about Asian traditions represented in global mainstream pop culture. Now as you’ve grown as a megastar, you are one of the leading names in pop filling that space, bringing your heritage to the stage. Why is it important for our generation to see ourselves and our histories represented on these platforms by artists?
It is important for people to remember where they come from. They should know their own history and how their culture came to be. Also, it lets other people know another culture and have a deeper understanding. It can stop miscommunication and it helps people be closer to each other.
Tumblr media
Why do fans need to see themselves in an artist? Does it work the same on the other side, do you as an artist see yourself in your fans?
I want fans to be able to relate with an artist. It is important for a fan to see themselves in artist and an artist to see themselves in a fan. When you can see each other you are able to understand each other better. You can connect with each other and really feel things.
I absolutely love the ‘Re-Reaction’ videos you have been doing for years and it means a lot to your fans that you take the time to do it. Why did you want to do this series and what does it mean to you to be able to connect with your fans like this and see them react to your work?
I am curious to know what fans and people think of my work. I want to know where I can improve. I want to keep growing as an artist. But also I want to let my fans know that I am reading their comments and I see everything they say.
Other than releasing more music, what are the rest of your plans for 2020? Do you have any film projects that you’re looking at taking up or are you planning on doing something completely different?
I am busy filming a TV drama and a few reality TV shows for the rest of 2020. A very busy schedule.”

Req:  would you mind writing a Sub!Ten smut where reader gives them a handjob and it goes from there? The scenario can be whatever you feel is best but the switch (dom+) in me has been quaking +  something with a really dom reader + any whiny subby nct or exo member that first comes to mind? + pegging
Summary: art student!Ten gets assigned a project with you for your Photography class and although his ideas for the concept initially make you wary, you eventually see the silver lining once he invites you back to his place
Pairing: sub!Ten x dom!reader (both are bi/queer/sexually fluid)
Genre: smut (m)
Words: 6015
Tags: nudity, cursing, handjob, edging, pegging
A/N: I combined quite a few repeated reqs I’ve been getting for sub!nct and pegging in specific so sorry if this took way too long! I haven’t gone full feral dom in this the way I like to (because wbk im a hardcore dom) since i’ve noticed many on here have boundaries with it/not used to it so since this is my first proper sub!member fic, I’m just easing into it ok--i’ll go harder or less next time depending on the response this gets
You raise your hand to knock on the burgundy door, hesitation creeping up your mind and effectively stopping you. Your fist hovers mid-air as you straighten your dress with your free hand and pull out your phone to check your makeup again.
When Ten approached you at the library yesterday, you certainly hadn’t expected him to call you back to his apartment.
Well, then again, you hadn’t expected a lot of what Ten had said at the library when he sat across from you while you were working on your assignment.
Chittaphon Ten is nothing less of popular at your university—with a double major in Art and Dance, a minor in Photography, it’s no surprise that both students and faculty were always constantly in awe of how he seemed to always have his shit together, scoring impressive grades, being extremely sociable and generally was the most well-rounded person that you’d ever seen.
His crazy attractive features weren’t a drawback either.
Like most girls, you admired him from afar without ever making a move. Not because you were too shy to do anything—Lord knows you weren’t, and so did a good majority of the students who you’d been with—but because he was always surrounded by people, the life of every party he went to, the one who never had a problem getting laid and the one whose attention required too much effort.
Which is why you were extremely surprised when Ten sought you out at the library yesterday. He’d called your name, which you didn’t even know he knew until then. It made you recall the first time he’d said it—one of the many faces that you’d been introduced to at the freshmen’s party during your first year at university.
He’d been the cool friendly popular sophomore, a beacon to all the lost freshmen and you’d been one of them as you exchanged names, later drinks and then, you were pretty sure, a tipsy dance together towards the end of the night.
That was the extent of your interaction—with the exception of the friendly smiles and casual ‘Hey’s as you passed each other in the hallway. What’s even sadder is that most of the memories from that night aren’t even clear to you due to all the shots you had downed—it’s only when you saw all the blurry pictures on Instagram the next day that you realised he’d danced with his hands around you but you couldn’t remember even feeling them, nevertheless the dance.
Needless to say, Ten was probably the only guy to ever make you reconsider the decision to drink at parties.
Regardless of all this, you hadn’t expected to be paired with him in your Photography class that you two happened to share this semester. You never thought he’d attend much since it was only an elective—moreover, attendance wasn’t even compulsory—but you should have known better, of course perfect Ten was there.
And of course, on the one day that you’d skipped classes, you and Ten had gotten a paired assignment.
“The concept,” Ten said in a hushed voice as he leaned over the table at the library, making your gaze unknowingly rivet to his mouth. You had to force yourself to keep your eyes on his as he continued, “The concept for the assignment is Biblical influence on art.”
Still, you’d nodded. You’d shrugged it off in stride.
At least, you did until Ten said the following words:
“I have an idea. Everyone else is going to be at churches and cemeteries and cathedrals and basilicas. For the architecture and lightings. I was thinking, since we both are studying Art, we could paint on you to make you look like a Michelangelo sculpture.”
You’d blinked at him, wondering if you had misheard because he was whispering so lowly. You’d opened your mouth and closed it again, gaping like a fish. When he’d seen your obvious confusion, he repeated the last part, making your eyebrows furrow and then inhale sharply as you realised he was serious.
“Just hear me out,” Ten started before you could start yelling in the middle of the university library. “Think about it. No one would do such a unique concept.”
“Yeah, because it’s crazy?”
“Its art, Y/N. Crazy is kind of what gets you recognition.”
“This is an assignment that isn’t even accounted for twenty percent, Ten. It’s not even going to get published. Make it make sense,” you said in a flat voice.
“Imagine if it does, though, because it’s that good,” he muttered, widening his eyes at you to further emphasise his point.
You didn’t agree. You didn’t disagree either but the way you’d shaken your head and quickly stormed out of the library with an excuse that you needed to get to class let him know that you weren’t exactly in favour of the whole idea.
Then he’d called that night. It was later than you’d expect anyone to call—especially to discuss an assignment—but for some reason, it had worked.
You’re not sure why you agreed. Maybe it was because he’d actually made some good points over the call.
Or maybe because his voice had sounded so lulling over the phone, you’d found yourself nodding along without even paying attention to what he’d been suggesting. You agreed to meet him after your last evening class the next day at his apartment to ‘get it over with as soon as possible’.
Right now, you stood outside his door and tried to recall what all he had said last night. You were wearing a wrap-around dress that dropped only till your knees—the easiest thing to get in and out of—and had washed your hair so that it hung around your face. You’d scrubbed and shaved every surface of your skin until you were polished and squeaky clean, smelling like fresh soap and your mildly-scented lavender perfume.
You took a breath and checked your reflection for the millionth time in just half an hour on your phone’s screen before sighing and knocking on his door.
There was a shuffle of steps and then the door opened, Ten poking his head out and smiling at you.
“Hey,” he greeted softly and held the door open. “Come on in.”
You slowly entered, your mind racing with multiple thoughts as you closed the door behind you. You heard him mumble that he’ll be right back and to make yourself comfortable as he headed to a room at the end of the hallway.
You entered the first room to your left that he’d gestured at, your eyes quickly scanning the place. You immediately notice how he’d drawn all the curtains open and can’t help but smile at the very obvious attempt to have cleaned up—everything had been pushed to the corners of the room and things were thrown haphazardly to a side to clear the floor.
Biting back a smile, you turn right as he enters and hold your hands up to stop him before he starts speaking.
“Before anything,” you start, lowering your raised hands when you notice he’s listening. “Explain to me entirely what your plan is for the project. All of it.”
He nods and grabs his phone, scrolling through his gallery. You listen attentively as Ten explains how he thought it would be cool if he painted your entire body like a marble sculpture with a sheet draped over your body—painting over the sheet as well for a hyper-realistic effect while you posed like a statue.
You bit down on your lip at the idea of getting naked in his apartment with only a slinky garment to cover you, eyes moving from his phone’s screen to meet his. You can see the question in them and he even gives you a polite smile as if to tell you that you can always refuse if you’re uncomfortable with it.
But beneath that, you can see the challenging glint: he is daring you to back down because he knows you’re on unfamiliar grounds with him. He’d surely been naked many times in his apartment with several mutual friends of yours and so had you back in your own place but never with each other.
And maybe it was that or maybe this exciting air of ‘what if this went somewhere?’ and ‘what if one of us leaned in closer?’—but you didn’t want to back down.
So you gave him a firm nod, relishing in the way his eyes slightly widened at your affirmation as you turned to head for the bathroom that you’d seen when walking in. You turn at the last second, right as you’re near the door to see Ten staring at you as if baffled that you’re actually agreeing to this and you ask as nonchalantly as possible, “Ten? The sheet?”
“What?” He blinks before realising. “Oh, right, right, sorry.”
He grabs an ivory-coloured sheet that laid neatly over the back of a chair and hands it over to you. You still as your eyes fall on the silky satin material you held in your hands, the fabric almost slipping from your fingers because of how smooth it was.
You slowly raise your eyes from the sheet to ask him what exactly you were supposed to do with it and stop when you notice that his eyebrow is raised, expression apprehensive as if to wait for you to drop the sheet and leave his apartment.
Plastering on an overly sweet smile, you nod in thanks and turn to the bathroom.
Once inside, you stare at your reflection in the mirror as you give yourself a pep-talk.
You weren’t backing down. There was just no way—especially when there was a good chance that this was all in your head and you were just making it into a bigger deal than what it actually is. It could just be about the project and Ten’s perfectionistic tendency wanting the highest grade.
So you slowly disrobed from your floral wraparound dress, hanging it over the hook on the back of the bathroom door. You hadn’t put much makeup on except for some gloss on your lips and some mascara—not wanting to be completely barefaced but at the same time, not going fully out.
Taking a deep breath, you take the satin sheet and stare at it as you contemplate how to wrap it around yourself.
You settle for wrapping it around your body, under the arm similar to how you usually do with a towel. You try to wrap it twice but the material is hardly enough to envelop more than once fully around your frame.
You stare at yourself in the mirror and have to force yourself to not get back into your comfy dress and jump out the bathroom window. The material clings to your body like a second skin and despite being layered twice around your front, your nipples still poke through due to how thin and supple the satin is.
Sighing and straightening your back, you turn to make sure that the knot at the back is fastened tightly and feel glad that you’d had the sense to shave your entire body spotless earlier today before coming here.
You meet your gaze in the mirror one last time, narrowing your eyes slightly as you take a deep breath and get your game face on. You walk to the door and step out, immediately feeling goosebumps rise on your skin at the sudden change in temperature from the cool bathroom.
You re-enter the hall and immediately notice Ten fight every instinct in his body to react at your appearance as his eyes swiftly rake over your entire form before quickly flitting back to your eyes.
Raising an eyebrow at him, you stand in front of him and he hesitates before finally saying, “Uh. You. That’s not actually how I thought you’d wear it.”
You narrow your eyes at him, fighting against the urge to cross your arms over your chest defensively because you knew that would only draw more attention towards your breasts.
“What did you think then?” You ask in a deadpan tone and Ten grabs his phone from the table, showing you an image of a marbled woman sculpture that had a similarly thin cloth adorning her body except it fell over one shoulder and was held tight by pressing down the other arm. Moreover, she was postured by leaning her hips against a short pedestal and arching her back with her head raised upwards.
The garment covered her chest and stopped short at the very top of her thighs—barely covering anything but exposing her curvy hips, thighs and sides in their full glory.
You unknowingly release a loud sigh of frustration before nodding. Determined, you reach back to unknot the cloth but Ten stops you with his hand, saying, “Wait, its fine.”
Your hand is caught underneath his, and you look at him with confusion. “What?”
“It’s okay,” he repeats, lowering his hand from your shoulder. “This is better cause I have to paint your shoulders anyway and they’re both revealed this way. We’ll paint your entire body first before putting the satin over it and paint that last.”
“Um,” you say softly, nodding as he gestures for you to sit on the chair. You slowly sit down and contemplate crossing your legs but decide against it as that would cause the material to hike up further than it already is. “Okay.”
Ten stands above you, dipping a brush with thick bristles into a palette. You keep your eyes on his face, watching him carefully and don’t fail to see the way his breath slightly catches when he notices your intense gaze on him. You try to bite back a smirk as he leans over you and presses the cool brush against your shoulder, lightly stroking it over the skin in an experimental brushstroke.
“Could you lean your head back?” He asks you, his voice considerably lower.
“Mhm, sure,” you softly hum in agreement as you arch your neck back, noticing the way his grip falters on the brush as he presses the brush more firmly against your shoulder. The contact with your skin mixed with the air that had suddenly grown thick around the two of you made slight bumps rise along your arms and you feel Ten’s gaze dart to your face, having noticed the effect.
Yeah. This wasn’t about the project. Your senses were tingling and even if you knew nothing else, you could smell sexual tension from miles away.
You deliberately sigh softly, your chest heaving with the release of air and feel the brush still against your skin again. You sneak a look at Ten and notice that he’s completely stopped faking it, watching your face carefully.
You lower your head and turn it in his direction, feeling both your breaths intermingle from how close your faces are. You’re just about to lean in when he says, “It’s not working.”
You blink, momentarily taken aback. “What?”
“The paint.” You glance down at your shoulder to see that the colour was slightly faded and almost runny, not in the thick layers that they should be with the amount of strokes Ten had just made.
“Your skin,” he said, thinking as he leaned back slightly, promptly breaking the moment that you just had. “There’s something that’s not allowing the paint to settle. Did you put something before you came here?”
You think for a moment before answering, “Uh, yeah, moisturiser. Lotion. Is that it?”
Ten swallowed thickly, nodding at your words as he stepped back. “Do you think you can remove it with body wash or soap? I can’t paint your skin otherwise and it needs to be layered thickly for the marble effect.”
You stare at Ten, eyes narrowed as you tried to figure what game he was playing here. You’re almost tempted to just stand up and grab him, press him against the desk and kiss him hungrily.
Did he just want you to shower here? Was he going to walk in? Or was this to just have you smelling like the same sweet-scented soap that he always smelled like?
Or was this really because he was concerned with the project and didn’t want your Vaseline bodycream to stand in the way of a perfect grade?
Did he even want to sleep with you in the first place?
You stand up abruptly, unable to take the million thoughts flooding into your head. Turning around, you made a beeline for the bathroom again while mentally cursing him.
If he was playing hard-to-get, this was the longest you’d ever held out for someone you were interested in sleeping with, despite how much you loved the game.
You’re Y/N. Sure, Ten had a reputation as the campus heartthrob with nights of guaranteed fun and pleasure but so did you—you had entire groups of people who would attest to your skills in the bedroom.
Except you didn’t know right now. The signals you’d been receiving all night were mixed and you couldn’t tell reality anymore from your own fantasies of taking Ten and having him in your own way.
You wished you were right—that he was really interested in sleeping with you. Because you couldn’t get the pretty images of Ten whining and mewling softly out of your head, reminiscing the way his Adam’s apple had bobbed nervously every time he swallowed when he noticed your gaze, loving the way he’d slightly faltered as you’d breathed softly.
You wanted to ruin him so bad—you could feel your core clenching with desire just from the thought of it.
You don’t realise you hadn’t closed the door behind you and it’s only when you turn around, catching Ten standing at the door that you realise.
You stare at him, feeling a slight tingle run through you as you gazed at him. You could see your own reflection on the mirror from your peripheral as Ten leaned on the wall beside it, his eyes transfixed on you.
“How is it that we’ve never ran in the same circles?” He asks, cocking his head.
Is he finally taking the bait?
You smile at his words, crossing your arms on purpose this time. “What do you mean?”
He falters slightly and you know it’s to fight the urge to lower his gaze from your face. He clears his throat, saying slowly, “I mean, we're both...”
“Hoes?” You offer, raising an eyebrow.
Ten blinks, surprised at your word choice. “I was going to say ‘the same’ but uh, sure, I guess that applies too.”
You chuckle, leaning your hip against the sink as you grin at him. “It’s cause we run in different circles that rarely interact with each other and the ones that do are comparatively lesser.”
Ten frowned at that, throwing your earlier question back at you. “What do you mean?”
“You fuck more guys and I fuck more girls.”
Ten’s eyes shot open, a light brush creeping up his cheeks at your bluntness and making you smirk slightly.
You think for a second, remembering all the times you’d spent with girls who were switches or leaned more towards dom. “You’ve slept with Amber, haven’t you?”
He nodded. “Taeyong?”
You nod. “Hwasa?”
“Of course. Mark?”
“Duh. Dahyun?”
“Obviously.”
You smile, glancing at the mirror as you tuck your hair behind your ear. “All right, then. I’ll shower now.”
You start to close the door but his hand is quick to grab your arm, stopping you effectively. You lift your head quickly to meet his gaze, able to smell the paint that was lingering on his clothes and unable to think with the need to just kiss him.
But you had to think, you had to control. He’d toyed with you enough so it’s only fair that you return the favour.
He raised an eyebrow at you in disbelief, unable to say the words that he’s thinking.
“You’re…” He pauses before hesitantly asking, “That’s it? You’re just going to shower?”
You furrow your eyebrows at him, playing genuinely confused. “... Yeah? I asked all that cause I was curious and I never knew you were such a power bottom. So are both Mark and Taeyong so I’m guessing that didn’t work well for you. Unlike the girls you slept with, who are all switches.”
He nods, his fingers still wrapped around your forearm. “I know. But they never... they never...”
He trails off and your eyes widen as you realise what he’s trying to say. “Whoa. What? Really?”
“What’s that expression supposed to mean?” Ten demands, narrowing his eyes at you. “You dommed Mark and Taeyong?”
“No,” you scowled before reluctantly explaining, “I mean I did. But not as much as I wanted to. They chickened out in the last second and we just fucked in missionary.”
Ten hesitates, his tongue darting out to lick his lower lip nervously. “How... how much do you want to?”
As soon as the words leave his mouth, you feel your heart skip a beat, a sense of excitement suddenly rushing through your blood. Your eyes are transfixed on his lips, now glistening with his saliva and you can’t help but imagine them parted wide open, gasping and moaning.
“Why?” You ask, your voice husky with arousal as you lower your lashes at him. “How far do you want me to go?”
“How far can you go?”
You raise your eyebrow challengingly. “Farther than Dahyun or the others would ever dare going.”
He grabs your waist then and your hands are already on his shoulders, slamming him back onto the door.
Your mouths meet heatedly and he moans as you press your body completely up against him.
Ten’s hands are gripping your hips tightly as you trail your one hand down his chest, between the two of you. Your hand passes over the waistband of his sweatpants and you palm his growing erection roughly. Ten gasps aloud and the sound is music to your ears as you take the opportunity to slip your tongue inside his parted lips.
Your fingers grip his length over the soft material of his pants and he’s twitching even with the minimal contact. Ten’s hand grabs your neck and pulls you away enough to breathe heavily, “Bedroom.”
“Yes, let’s go,” you mutter hurriedly and you grab his hand, pulling him in the direction of what you assumed to be the bedroom—the only other room in the small apartment.
You sit on the edge of the bed and yank him to you, loving the way a soft gasp leaves his mouth as he almost stumbles into your lap. Hesitantly he sits on your thighs and you shake your head, noticing that he still had his sweatpants on.
“Take the clothes off, sweetheart,” you say sweetly but with enough firmness to immediately make him get off your lap and peel his shirt off. You lean back with your hands on the bed to support you as you stare at him, watching him as he stripped.
You stand up when he’s bare in front of you, taking his hand and pushing him onto the bed before crawling on top of him.
Ten sits on the edge of the bed with you on his lap and you place your knees on either side of his thighs. You grab the hair on the back of his head, gripping the locks tightly in your fingers to yank his head back roughly and quickly move your mouth around his slender throat.
It doesn’t take long to find the sweet spot that has him moaning, his chest jerking up with his gasps at your relentless lips. You lick a stripe from his ear to his clavicle, sucking on the soft flesh where his shoulder and neck meets.
Ten's whimpers are the prettiest sound you’ve ever heard, his fingers having bunched up the satin sheet around you as he grips it tightly. The material gives away easily and next thing you know, cool air is hitting your skin as the satin is now fisted in his grip. Your legs are splayed over his, feeling his warm skin against yours as you kiss around his neck. You lower your mouth to his clavicle, sucking on the skin enough to leave bruises that you’re sure will darken by tomorrow as you mark him. Ten’s head is thrown back in pleasure as you leave hickeys all over his throat and you use the distraction to slowly roll your hips, rubbing your core over his growing erection. Ten gasps at the sudden sensation and you smirk against his skin, pulling him back hurriedly by his shoulders.
“Y/N,” his voice is a shaky whisper as they leave his lips and you hum in response, kissing him again deeply in a way that let him know you were going to absolutely devour him. Your hands find his hair again and you hold him firmly to you, moving your lips against his and letting your tongue explore the warmth of his mouth in a way that left him dazed and breathless when you finally pulled away.
You settled on his knees, leaving enough space between your bodies for your hands to quickly reach down and wrap your fingers around his length. Ten is deliciously responsive—bucking into your touch, hands reflexively reaching out to grip the sheets behind him tightly and moaning softly.
You’re certain that he can see how lust-crazed you are with the way he looks underneath you, his eyes all big and pleading as he waits patiently for you to move your hand, to go faster, to do anything.
So you do.
You’re gentle at first, barely doing much as you swipe your thumb over the pink head. You take your time, admiring the smoothness and length of his dick, swallowing the urge to just take him into your mouth already as you move the pads of your fingers lightly over his length and stroke him leisurely. You watch his face as you do so, loving how Ten’s eyes dilate with the frustration or pleasure or both, you weren’t sure. As his breaths quicken, you remove your hand and smirk while lazily using just your finger to stroke up and down, loving the way he was twitching even with just a single digit on him.
His whines grow louder and you finally give in, wrapping your hand fully around him, suddenly moving it up and down so quickly that it had him breathing harder as your pace suddenly transitioned. Ten’s hands gently came up to hold your hips and he raised his torso from the bed to lean his head into your neck, warm heavy breaths hitting your skin. He whimpered as you lowered your other hand to his balls, fondling them while stroking his erection. His chest started heaving and you could tell he was close from the soft “ah’s” that were leaving his lips, almost in a way that made you think he didn't know he was making them. His eyes were closed tightly, head now leaned back and fingers clenching the sheets so hard that his knuckles were white and you can’t recall when he took his hands away from your waist and pulled his head back from your neck.
You watched him carefully, feeling yourself grow wetter as he came closer to his high and right when he twitched in your hand and his chest jerked up, his entire skin flushing as he panted, you immediately stopped and pulled your hand away completely, disengaging contact.
Ten’s eyes shoot open and you have to bite back a smile at the way he looks utterly breathless and crestfallen at the stolen orgasm.
You take a breath as you crawl over his body, pushing him back by his shoulders and resuming the kisses on his throat and neck. You let your hand tease up his stomach and chest, feeling the way his slender body shivers beneath your fingers at even the slightest feather-touch as you mutter lowly into his ear, “Where are your toys?”
“Bedside drawer,” he whispers breathily and you pull your mouth away from the reddening skin of his neck as you move across the bed to the small wooden drawers.
You grab the strap-on that you found and the bottle of flavoured-lube next to it, closing the drawers shut as you keep them on the bed. Your eyes fall on the beige satin lying at the foot of the bed where it had slipped from Ten’s fingers and you reach across the bed for the material.
Ten watches you with his chest still heaving slightly as he tries to steady his irregular breathing and you grab his wrists, pulling them above his head and binding them together with the same satin that had been around you only an hour earlier.
You adjust on his lap so that your slit is perfectly aligned with his dripping member, enjoying the way he breathed harder as he felt your heat. You moved your hips in torturously slow circles over his length, sliding it up and down as you watched it glisten beneath you with both your fluids while you busied your hands by rubbing the lube in between them and over the strap-on.
“Fuck,” Ten moans aloud and you almost moan in response at how glorious he sounds—his angelic voice cursing, all soft and desperate for you.
You slid down his body and Ten hissed as your hands that were now cool because of the lube made contact with his cock. The head was flushed an angry red and you almost felt sorry at how sensitive he was already despite not even having gone as hard as you usually do.
Ten’s hands are fisted tightly, fingernails digging into his palms as you support yourself above him with both your hands on his shoulders while you kept rotating your hips over him. His eyes close as you grinded slightly against the tip, spreading your thighs and pushing a bit harder so that the head of his erection would slip inside your slick walls just the briefest fraction before you moved again.
Ten whispers curses again and you finally lower your hand again to wrap your fingers around him.
“Ah!” Ten groans as he bucks reflexively into your hand and you don’t give him a second as you start moving your hand over his length at an almost merciless speed, stroking him quickly and roughly. Ten’s eyes blow wide open at your sudden intense stimulations and lower your other hand down further, feeling his pink hole.
The lube in your fingers helps you to easily stick your finger inside and you feel your own arousal grow as he clenches tightly around your single digit while your hand still strokes him to another orgasm. Hearing his breaths grow quicker as he nears his high, you gradually decrease the speed of your hand while still fucking him open with two fingers now.
Ten is mewling and whining on the sheets now, arms slightly squirming to touch himself for relief when you denied him yet another orgasm. His thighs move under you and you narrow your eyes at him.
“Keep moving and I’ll never let you cum,” you warn and he immediately stills at your words, his entire body going still beneath you. You smile slightly in approval at his compliance and lean down to pepper his chest with kisses.
Ten’s breath echoes softly around his cosy bedroom as your mouth finds his nipple, your tongue darting out to circle the nub in quick motions timed with the pace of your one hand moving on his member and the other fucking him open. You look up to see Ten’s eyes roll back in his head at the overstimulation, back arching off the mattress and you immediately stop your ministrations on his cock, sitting up properly to not miss the reaction.
And its priceless.
Ten’s face is redder than you’d ever seen it, a delicious blush spreading over his entire cheeks, neck and down to his chest and you notice how his eyes are slightly teary and unfocused.
You lower your face to his then, pressing a reassuring kiss to his parted lips as you remove your fingers from inside his ready hole.
“Get on top of me, baby,” you mutter as you pull away and Ten nods, disoriented and dazed.
You fall to his side on the bed, grabbing the strap on and putting it around you as you rub the lube, spreading it over the surface of the cock. The thought that Ten probably fucked himself on this after a night that was less that pleasurable and satisfactory with a girl who didn’t want to fuck him the way he wanted to enticed you immeasurably.
Ten’s hands are shaky as he throws his leg over your body lying back on his bed, knees pressed against your sides. Slowly, he lowers himself down on the length of the dildo, eyes closing and lips parting with a loud moan that he couldn’t suppress as he feels it fill him up.
He opens his eyes, gaze shifting to your face and you watch the surprise that falls across his delicate features as you cross your arms behind your head, not touching him.
Understanding that you wanted him to fuck himself on top of you, Ten leaned back and you felt his hands on your lower legs as he used it to support himself up while he starting moving up and down.
Arching his back, you watched the dancer’s slender and beautiful body manifest into the most breathtaking art that you’d ever seen, more beautiful than any marble sculpture as he bounced and fucked himself on you, mouth open as he sang the most sweet-sounding curses and mewls while his angry-red cock slapped against your stomach with every bounce, dripping pre-cum onto your skin.
You raised your hand to his face then, shoving two of your fingers into his parted lips and he immediately closed his lips around your digits, choking slightly. Your own eyes grew hazy with lust as Ten fucked himself faster, thoroughly wetting your fingers with his tongue as he moaned around them while moving faster.
His grunts grew louder and hoarser—you could tell he was close so you grabbed his hip with your free hand and raised your own hips, bucking up into him. Removing your fingers from his mouth, you lowered them dripping with his saliva to his chest and tweaked his nipples that you’d kisses sensitive earlier.
Ten’s body jerks and he groans loudly as his dick twitches, shooting spurts of thick heavy cum over the length of your torso. He keeps cumming continuously, covering your belly, the valley of your breasts and even shoots all the way to your hair with his sticky white fluids.
You drag your finger over your stomach, collecting the cum and stick your finger in your mouth, humming with pleasure at the taste of Ten’s slightly salty essence mixed with his saliva from when you’d been choking him earlier.
Ten collapses down onto your body heavily, unable to hold himself up anymore and you smile as you wrap an arm around his back.
“Correct me if I’m wrong,” you start, unable to keep the smugness from your tone, “but did I just ruin sex with a girl for you?”
“Yes,” Ten replied, leaning up to kiss your lips and you smile in surprise at the sudden tenderness in the gesture.
He smiles tiredly, eyes still unfocused as he says, “Yes, you did.”
“We should change our concept, by the way,” you suggested. Ten blinks in confusion and you explain, “For the project. The way you looked on top of me with your back arched like that was pretty fucking divine.”
Ten let out a short laugh. “I don’t know, Y/N, a photograph of being pegged might raise some eyebrows since the concept for the project is Biblical.”
“I repeat: divine.”

191220 K-Pop Stars EXO Reflect on How Far They've Come — and How Far They'll Go
As Chen tells Teen Vogue, this year has been “a time for EXO to reflect” on their past, present, and future.
Tumblr media
Chances are, even if you didn’t know it at the time, you’ve seen the members of the legendary K-Pop group EXO before. Their musical prowess speaks for itself, but even beyond that, their careers have taken over TV, fashion, celebrity culture, and more in the past year.
Maybe you've seen rapper and multi-instrumentalist Chanyeol, 27, shaking hands with Zendaya at Paris Fashion Week. Or perhaps it was breathtaking dancer and rapper Kai, 25, cracking 7th place on British GQ’s Best-Dressed Men of 2020 list. Or singer and composer Lay, 28, becoming Calvin Klein’s first-ever Chinese global ambassador. You might’ve watched rapper and youngest member Sehun, 25, on Netflix’s detective program Busted, or glimpsed leader and vocalist Suho, 28, waving from the red carpet as an honorary ambassador of the International Film Festival & Awards Macao. These are just a few of the places and memories that stamp the proverbial passport of EXO’s lives this year.
It’s been an equally powerful year musically for EXO too. With two members — Xiumin, 29, and D.O., 26, — currently completing their mandatory military enlistment and Lay promoting in China, the remaining six members of EXO have explored their own individual musical identities in 2019. Power vocalist Chen, 27, released two solo albums that chronicled love and heartbreak through mature, heart-warming ballads, while Baekhyun’s groovy solo album, City Lights, broke the highest monthly sales record for a solo artist in South Korean chart history with over 500,000 copies sold. Sehun and Chanyeol teamed up this summer for the debut of EXO-SC, EXO’s hip-hop sub-unit, while Baekhyun and Kai joined forces to “jump and pop” in SM supergroup SuperM.
As Chen tells Teen Vogue, this year has been “a time for EXO to reflect” on their past, present, and future as they reunite to promote their sixth album Obsession.
It’s December 4th, 2019, and the six members are dressed in thick, woollen, neutral-toned sweaters and trenchcoats to protect themselves from the arctic winds billowing throughout Seoul. There’s a warm camaraderie to their interactions as they laugh amongst themselves and take sips of their iced coffees. The atmosphere feels comfortable and familial, born from an understanding of each other’s mindsets and quirks that has been learned organically over the group’s career.
“It’s been seven years since we debuted and we’ll be hitting eight years next year; that’s a long period of time,” Chen says. His humble, calm demeanor is a balm for the rest of the group who cling to his introspective thoughts. “We reflected on our past journey and tried to make improvements in this new album. It’s been a grateful and fun time.”
This desire to continuously push boundaries both musically and creatively has been at the crux of EXO’s identity since their debut in 2012. Originally split into two groups, EXO-K and EXO-M, EXO performed their shared discography in both Korean and Mandarin in an effort to appeal to two major music markets simultaneously. The groups came together in 2013 to release their debut album, XOXO, and the album’s repackage released later in the year saw EXO’s popularity hit a fever pitch with the funky, dance-pop single “Growl.” Since then, each of EXO’s last five albums have sold over a million copies in South Korea alone, earning them the title “quintuple million sellers.”
The group is not only a staple in South Korea but across the globe too. From performing in front of the world at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics to becoming the first K-Pop group to have their faces projected on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, EXO has stamped their name in the annals of pop history with their devotion toward their music, fans (called EXO-L), and each other. As they’ve matured over the years, that dedication hasn’t wavered.
“In our early years we just played together, whereas now we’ve grown up and matured,” Baekhyun replies. The singer’s personality is brighter than his shining white hair, and he thrives on the reactions to the jokes he makes throughout our chat. “We share a lot about where we’re headed in life, what we want to do for the upcoming album, and discuss how we can come together closer as a team to improve our teamwork.”
That tight-knit teamwork manifested itself in multiple ways throughout this year. From congratulating each other on Instagram like Lay did for Baekhyun’s solo debut to Xiumin and Sehun emceeing Chen’s solo album press conferences, the members have made it a point to support one another with every milestone they achieve, both individually and as a group. It also took center stage as the group embarked on their fifth world tour, Exo Planet #5 – The EXplOration, this July.
Part of the decision to go on tour, according to Suho, is because it makes the fans “happy,” which in turn makes EXO happy; this treasured time spent with fans also one of the reasons why the group worked tirelessly to release their new record in between their jam-packed personal schedules.
“Since the year EXO debuted, we’ve released an album every year. We’ve never skipped a single year,” Suho answers. With attention-grabbing ruby red hair, the leader holds himself with a quiet confidence and classic charm. “Even though it wasn’t a formal promise we made, it’s been a tradition to release an album each year, even if that means we have to make the promotion period short. Everyone’s been having hectic schedules, but it’s very meaningful for us to spend the end of the year with the fans.”
Tumblr media
Heavily rooted in the group’s constant state of reinvention, the concept for Obsession sees EXO face off against their evil, superpowered doppelgängers X-EXO. Superpowers have been a common thread that has tied EXO’s music video multiverse together since their debut single “MAMA”, with each member utilizing their own signature power ranging from Chanyeol’s pyrokinesis to Kai’s teleportation abilities. When X-EXO arrives ready to destroy the planet in the group’s music video, the result is an explosive, superhero-style brawl between good and evil that leaves viewers enthralled.
In the lead up to shooting the music video, EXO emphasized the importance for both of their characters to have their own distinct, contrasting identity. While EXO dressed in weathered, straight laced black cargo pants and berets as if ready to march into war, X-EXO celebrated their eccentricities with jewel toned hair colors, white eyelashes, and uniquely cut clothing that bridged the gap between menacing and seductive.
“Our main focus was to draw a big contrast. All of us thoroughly discussed with our makeup and hair artists to bring that contrast, almost to the point of exaggeration,” Chanyeol says. He’s as jovial as his bubblegum pink hair and is openly expressive with his emotions, which light up his face whenever he speaks. “We tried to make X-EXO look very dark. EXO, on the other hand, was the good, righteous EXO like what fans have seen in the past. They came easy and naturally.”
“Like Chanyeol said, we discussed thoroughly with the makeup, hair, and costume team so that you could see the contrast right away,” Kai continues. Conscientious and thoughtful, Kai surveys the older members before answering so he doesn’t interrupt them. “Our attitudes also play a key role because they add to the strong visuals. Since it was a video, we all tried to make our performances convincing. X-EXO showed something that EXO had never done before — something mischievous.”
Amongst the members, X-EXO wins in a landslide over the team they liked the most.
“X-EXO had a stronger visual impact,” Baekhyun explains. “Personally, I wish that we made the plain EXO look cooler. That would have been right, because EXO was supposed to be the revolutionary army against X-EXO! I feel like they were visually weaker; I wish we had expressed more passion as EXO.”
With every album, EXO releases a bold title track that shatters the current K-pop paradigm, like the sinister “Obsession” or the reggae, EDM hybrid track “Ko Ko Bop." The remainder of the tracks on the albums typically allow EXO to explore new genres and make them their own, which range from hip-hop dance tracks like “Ya Ya Ya”, which samples ‘90s vocal trio SWV’s “You’re The One”, to heart-fluttering ballads like “Butterfly Effect."
Kai’s favorite track on the album is “Jekyll," which he loved from the first listen. “It starts off like a sweet R&B song, but the chorus suddenly changes into this shouting, which I think is in line with the duality expressed in the album,” he says. “I immediately thought that we could show a very different type of performance for this song — I can’t wait to perform this on stage and show the fans.”
“I like “Obsession” the most,” Sehun answers. Although under the weather, he makes a point to attend the interview to support his older members. “It was good enough to make the title track, so it’s my favorite.”
Chen picks the dreamy “Groove” because: “I love all the other tracks, but this song made me wonder if I could pull it off when I first heard it because it was such a different genre. It was challenging while recording it, but I love the result. It’s one of the songs that I feel most attached to.”
Chanyeol also fell in love with “Jekyll”, but is also partial to the similarly haunting reggae track “Trouble”. “The song came out to be great; I think we pulled it off pretty well,” he says happily.
“‘Day After Day’ for me,” says Baekhyun. While the other members have been discussing their favorites, he’s been silently exchanging silver rings with Suho. He nicks Chanyeol’s wire-rimmed glasses and puts them up his face backwards, reveling in the laughter he receives. “The song reminds me of a certain type of weather. I like songs that remind me of something — a song with a theme or story. ‘Day After Day’ does that for me.”
“I was going to say the same,” Suho says, shocked. A mischievous grin spreads on Baekhyun’s face. “Stop it,” he teases.
The room is whipped into uncontrollable laughter as Suho jokingly grasps the collar of Baekhyun’s sweater, as if he’s about to wrestle the other singer mid-interview. Suho’s faux fury only makes Baekhyun’s smile grow wider and he lets out a loud ahh, ahh! before Suho lets go.
“It reminds me of rain!” Suho complains, but a smile is working its way across his face too. “That’s because the lyrics have the word ‘rain’ in them,” Baekhyun dryly quips. “Choose something other than ‘Day After Day’,” Kai urges in between laughs. “Day after tomorrow? Two days after tomorrow?” The laughter doubles.
In the end, Suho chooses “Baby You Are." “The song uses band sounds and I really like the sound of the guitar,” he answers, before replying in English: “The intro is the best!” He flashes an assured smile and gives a thumbs up to further prove his point.
“The intro is your part!” Chen lovingly chides. “It’s because you sang that part!”
Tumblr media
The most emotional track on the album is “Butterfly Effect," which is a direct callback to the group’s 2013 song “Don’t Go” (which literally translates to “Butterfly Girl”). The song, according to Chanyeol, was selected as a way to thank fans for their unwavering support over the last seven years.
“After viewing the different universes portrayed in EXO’s albums, you’ll be able to see a connection between Obsession and our previous records,” Chanyeol says. “In songs like ‘Don't Go’ and ‘Butterfly Effect’, there are butterflies that resist the Red Force [the canonical evil force mentioned throughout EXO’s music videos] and protect EXO. To us, these butterflies represent our fans, who are always beside us no matter what. They are why and how we exist.”
He continues: “Because of our fans — through their love and support — we are able to overcome any difficulties [we face as a group]. This is probably one of the biggest messages that we wanted to share on this album.”
Prior to their debut seven years ago, the members’ goals for the future were heavily built upon their dream to debut together. Chanyeol recalls that, before they were ever officially called EXO, each member was bonded together by a “common goal to create good music as one” as well as their frequent discussions while training to “work together for a very long time."
“At the time of our debut, we had achieved nothing and everything was up in the air. We talked about working together for a long time, hitting number one on the chart, winning awards, and more,” Kai replies, tone contemplative as he leans closer. “Personally speaking, when we eventually achieved all those goals, I realized, yes, winning awards and being successful is important, but more importantly being able to perform happily as an artist is what mattered the most. There were times when I obsessed over our sales record, stages, and something tangible, but now my goal and dream is to be a happy artist, being satisfied with what I do.”
At the end of Kai’s answer, EXO breaks out into a hearty round of applause. Kai bashfully shines on the encouragement with a soft grin. “He’s like a supervisor,” Baekhyun teases. Chanyeol concurs, “He’s like a CEO!”
Looking ahead, EXO’s goals for the upcoming year aren’t the grandiose, tangible achievements of their youth, but rather to keep the promise they made to each other all those years ago: to make music together for a really long time. “I’m wishing all the members’ health and happiness [in the future],” Chen says.
“Being able to perform for a long time as one, being able to meet the fans for a long time…” Kai reflects. “That’s the most important.”

The Two Sides Of Kai (PT 1)
Tumblr media
🖤 Genre: Smut
🖤 Rating: M
🖤 Pairing: Kim Jongin aka Kai X Reader
🖤 Synopsis: You get a job teaching English skills to kpop idols at SM entertainment where you meet Kai and everything changes.
🖤 Word Count: 1,958k
🖤 Warnings: this story starts out a bit slow and ends very smutty.
**Writers note: Hey guys! this is my very first post! im thinking of making this into 2 parts. i love all kpop idols and my bias list is insane! i thought i would start out with Kai since i last saw SuperM in concert. I hope you enjoy!!**
“What the fuck was i thinking?” I say to myself as I hold onto the cold stark white bathroom vanity in front of me. My mind has been wondering since i stepped of the plane just a few hours ago. I left my home in America to teach English in Seoul. But I never imagined I would be teaching English to kpop idols at SM entertainment. I splash cold water on my face and wash my hands. “You can do this Y/N” i stare at myself in the mirror and say. i feel a tiny bundle of nerves form in my stomach as I exit the bathroom with shaky hands.
I stand behind a huge velvet curtain waiting for my cue to step out and introduce myself.
I hear the soft chatter and murmurs from the crowd which could only be the idols themselves.
“Alright everyone calm down” i hear Mr. Lee Soo-Man echo through a microphone. “I bet you are all wondering why you are here?” he says fixing his suit jacket. “We have a new staff member joining us today, she will be working closely with all of you and help sharpen your English comprehension skills” Mr. Lee Soo-Man glances at the curtain, “please welcome her with open arms, Miss Y/N will you please join us on stage?” That’s my cue, I straighten my back and clear my dry throat as I make my way up the polished marble stairs and onto the stage. And that’s when I see him..in the flesh. The very person who I knew I would see but didn't expect to see so soon.
Kai is sitting front row next to Chanyeol. He has on a simple pair of dark jeans with rips at the knee and a plaid shirt with a white T shirt underneath. His hair is pulled back into a baseball cap, and for a moment I debate whether it's too late to chicken out and run off the stage. His golden skin peaks from under his sleeves as he rolls them up nonchalantly. His lips looked more plump and kissable in person. “Run away stupid” I silently scold myself in my head. “Um hi” I say as I clear my increasingly dry throat.
“Thank you Mr. Lee Soo-man for this once in a lifetime opportunity” I say as I quickly bow. “Once in a lifetime Y/N” i whisper to myself. “As stated earlier, I will be helping you guys further your English skills” I exclaim clapping my hands together and smiling softly. Just then Kai sits up in his chair and turns his full attention to me, ignoring a whispering Chanyeol in the process. I feel my insides ignite with just a simple look from this man. His chocolate brown eyes stare holes into my face and suddenly i forget how to breathe. I’m reminded i’m on stage in front of the entire company when Kai unfolds a lopsided grin and raises his eyebrows. I clear my voice, “I am very excited to work with you all, and I hope to learn from you as much as you learn from me!” I stand back, and if on signal Mr. Lee Soo-Man returns from the shadows. I can't focus on what he's saying as i try to keep my legs tightly closed while avoiding Kai’s gaze. “This man is going to be the death of me,” I say to myself.
When the meeting concludes Mr. Lee Soo-Man approaches me with a shy Kai in tow. “Y/N, you can work in groups. We can start with Exo, Kai has generously offered to show you around and help you get situated”. Kai blushes behind Mr. Lee Soo-Man. “I’ll leave you two it” he flashes a grin as he walks away.
“Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. I cannot be left alone with this man.”  I think in my head ignoring Kai’s outstretched hand. “Oh i'm sorry” I say. I feel so small next to him. His large hands nearly swallows mine hole. His golden skin glistens even in doors. His silver hair peaks from under his hat, and I lose myself in his smile. His plump lips So warm and kind. “I’m Y/N, nice to meet you Kai” I choke out. “Jongin, please call me Jongin” he says smooth as butter. And I realize how much I love his voice, how i want to hear him saying my name over and over as he buries himself inside of me. “What the fuck, get your head in the game y/n, you did not travel this far just to loose your job in the first 30 minutes” i repeat over and over like a sacred mantra in my head. “Let me show you around” he says as he flashed me a smile that could make puppies cry. “Lead the way” i say.
My god he smelled good, he looked good, but most of all you could tell the passion he had for his job as he led me through the halls of the building, leaving no stone un turned as he showed me every inch of the building. Even the janitors closet. I smirked internally when he mentioned that the janitors closet was vital to the tour. We stopped at one last door down a dimly lit hall. He sighed and turned to me looking unsure, “And this, this is the most important room to me. Its where I practice daily, hourly.” he opens the door and I am greeted with a big room with floor to ceiling mirrors. Leather bean bag chairs and a large dark oak table with chairs surrounding it, Complete with a Dj station off to the side. It smells just like him. Woodsy and manly. The Wood floors were so shiny I could see my reflection, the SM logo is plastered in the middle of the sleek wooden wall.
“This is beautiful” I murmur as I take in the room, simple yet masculine. I spin to find Jongin looking at me, his brown eyes dark and clouded. He stalks his way over to me and i melt where I stand. I can’t find my voice when he stands in front of me staring at me. He towers over my much smaller frame. He takes his hat off to run his hair through his messy silver strands. I watch as he reaches out to stroke my cheek. He steps closer and I could swear his eyes get even darker. “y/n you’re so beautiful, i’m sorry, i’m not usually a forward person” he says taking a strand of my hair between his fingers before bringing it to his lips. In this moment I can't find my voice and I curse myself for just staring back at him foolishly. Before I can reply his lips are on mine. Soft at first as if testing the waters, then the kiss heats up. He moves his tongue across my lips silently begging for entry. I opened my mouth to feel his soft tongue caressing my tongue and cheeks. Like silk, his touch, his tongue feels like silk.
I don't even notice when my back hits the wall. I feel him  growing hard under his jeans, as it pokes me in my belly. I entangle my hands in his hair knocking his hat free. I pull him closer to deepen the kiss and a moan escaped his lips. “Fuck you taste so good y/n” now its my turn to moan as he says my name. It feels like ecstasy. He moves his hands over my waist and down my sides until he reaches my ass. “Your body is so perfect, so curvy in all the right places” he says against my lips. He then kisses my cheeks, and the shell of my ear before peppering kisses down my neck. By now i can say goodbye to these panties. He moves his hands expertly over the fabric of my blouse before taking a nipple in his mouth. I moan while tangling my fingers in his hair. He looks up at me between his eyelashes and says “ can i?” confusion spreads through my features. He motions down to my pants. I simply nod and he slowly goes to his knees and slides my pants over my waist, then my ass and to my ankles.
He slides kisses down my legs and he grasps onto my ass for dear life. I feel shy, im half naked while he is fully clothed. He reaches to kiss my inner thigh as he hitches one of my legs over his shoulders. Moving my panties to the side he inhales. “So sweet, i wonder if you taste as sweet as you smell baby” My mind is hazy. He looks at me with expectant eyes before I nod to him that he can continue. He uses the pad of his thumb and works my clit in circular motions. He then uses his tongue to lick the folds of my most secret spot. “You taste like heaven” he says against my pussy and the vibration makes me moan Louder than I wanted to. he delves his tongue flat in and out of my entrance. All the while rubbing my clit.
I tug on his hair as I moan his name over and over. He looks up at me with his plush lips coated in my juices. He flashes me a cocky grin before he slides two slender digits inside of me. He watches me writhe and scream his name for a minute before licking my clit as his fingers push in and out of me. A bundle of heat courses through my body when he curves his fingers just right hitting a spot I didn't even know existed. I throw my head back and yell his name before coming all over his fingers and mouth. He continues to lick and fuck me with his fingers and just when i thought i couldn't breathe he brings me to another orgasm, just as mind bending as the one before. I have to catch my breath and hold onto his head for dear life as i get weak. He looks at me and smiles. “You’re so beautiful when you come on my fingers y/n, i want to watch you come for me again” with a shaky sigh i barely breathe out “im to sensitive”. He sees this as a challenge and pumps his fingers faster, so fast I instantly lose my footing and fall backwards on my ass, Jongin chuckles while still pumping his digits in and out of me at an impressive speed.
When I finally think I can't take anymore i cry out “oh my god Jongin im going to come!” he removes his hand and replaces it with his mouth as my body explodes. My orgasm rips through my body fast and hard leaving me breathless. Breathing heavily, I snapped my eyes open. I didn't even know were closed. Jongin stands up and helps me to my feet. He turns to me and places a tender kiss on my lips before licking them. His big soft lips feel amazing against my burning flesh. “Now if you’ll excuse me y/n i have to take a shower and handle a few things” Jongin says with a sly wink. “I-i can help you” i motion to his hard bulge threatening to rip his pants from his body. “Maybe next time, goodnight y/n” he says and he turns on his heel leaving me in a puddle of self worry and confusion.
“I am SO getting fired” i say aloud while hitting myself in the head with the palm of my hand “so getting fired”
**I hope you guys enjoyed this little scenario! i look forward to finishing this story and creating more!**

Kai (Kim Jongin) - 120315 High Cut April, 2012 Interview
                                     “EXO-K, The First History”
Their team name is EXO and the total amount of members is 12. EXO-K is comprised of 6 members and will promote in Korea while the other 6 will promote in China as EXO-M (Madarin). Although it’s prior to their debut, they’ve reached over a million views on their teasers which were released on Youtube at the end of last year. EXO gained the inspiration to their name from exoplanet which stands for the sun and a superior planet, doubling onto that is the meaning of having new stars coming from an unknown planet. We decided to meet the 6 members of EXO-K: Leader Suho (22), Baekhyun (21), Chanyeol (21), D.O. (20), Kai (19), and Sehun (19). This is their first interview and you can sense their awkwardness and nervousness, but in another aspect you can sense their innocence of having a lot of dreams as this marks our first meeting with EXO.
Tumblr media
After having f(x) make their debut in 2009, it’s been 2 years since SM has put out a new group. As high as expectations are in your surroundings, the pressure must be just as high. What are your plans for your upcoming debut?
Suho: Right now, we’re planning on working hard with the music and performance we’ve prepared in Korea, Asia, and worldwide for ourselves to be known.
In preparing your debut in SM, there must have been rewarding and joyful memories as well.
Kai: There was a motto in that instead of receiving, the training we received was giving in that although normally artists do receive a lot from fans, we felt that we should instead return the favor to our surroundings so all of us took up on doing charity work .I think one of the joyful memories we have is working in RCY (Youth Red Cross) or places like that where we either clean or play with kids who have disabilities. Even after making our debut, we plan on continuously doing charity work when we have time.
Tumblr media
We heard you all live in one dorm. How many rooms are there and how is it divided up?
Chanyeol: Two members share one room each and I share mine with Baekhyun, the others being that Sehun and Suho share a room while Kai and D.O. are roommates.
You must know each other’s sleeping habits, whether it being someone making noise from their noses. Baekhyun: Chanyeol’s breathing is really loud. Before he goes to bed, he always sniffles and it’s so loud that I can’t sleep. Chanyeol: (Countering that) Baekhyun always whimpers about 40 times during his sleep like a puppy.
Are the other rooms as problematic? (The rest of the members shake their hands in the air) No, we all sleep happily. Baekhyun: (Looking at Chanyeol) Maybe we shouldn’t have said it. Chanyeol: But we love each other (laughs).
How about food or laundry? Sehun: We tend to take care of ourselves and we choose a monitor to do dish washing every week. The plates you eat from, you wash and even things like socks, you wash your own. But often times, we do games like Bok Bul Bok, Rock, Paper, Scissors, or games from 1N2D like who can flick the bottle cap closest to the line.
Tumblr media
Who’s the best at games? (Altogether) Kai is the best. He’s like the status of a sniper as he can to alkkagi (T/N: where you try to knock an opponent’s piece in flicking your own piece), as he’s considered the masterof games.
Who’s the tidiest member? (Without hesitation, altogether) D.O. Sehun: If you look at D.O.’s dresser, all of his t-shirts are folded neatly in his draws and organized according to white t-shirts, v-necks, etc. as he’s the type to organize. But it’s not that I’m saying the other members are messy, it’s just that D.O. is the neatest out of all.
When you entered SM, you must have had the thought, “I want to be close to this senior.” Chanyeol: When I was younger, I didn’t really know about artists or idols and the first boy group I happened to come across was TVXQ, especially senior U-Know Yunho from TVXQ as he’s not only the leader, but seeing his charistmatic side was nice. Suho: Senior Yunho gave me a lot of advice in that as a leader, whether talking about image or in the musical aspect, and even choreography-wise, he gave me a lot of warnings as senior Leeteuk of Super Junior also gave me a lot of advice in regards to the position and responsibilities of a leader alongside teamwork.
Tumblr media
When did you first want to become artists? It must have not been easy in qualifying in SM auditions. D.O.: I liked singing since I was younger and before I got into SM, I did attend a music academy. I took the SM audition back in 2010 and at the time, I was a 2nd year in high school and my parents didn’t oppose my dreams as they encouraged me in that if I work efficiently, then I should hear the compliments of doing well from others for the fruit of my labor. I want to become a singer that is acknowledged for my vocals. Chanyeol: I liked using instruments since elementary school and during middle school, I was in band and I would feel overwhelmed in receiving claps from the audience when finishing a performance and since then, I took steps into becoming a singer as my dream. At the time, I was a first year in high school and qualified the SM auditions in 2008. Sehun: I was casted in a lucky opportunity I had received as I was passing by my school and someone from the SM casting team asked me if I was interested in doing an audition. At the time, I was young so I told my mother and she had spoke with one of the SM staff members herself. Back then, I was in 6th grade. I took auditions for 2 years and I was qualified in my 2nd year of middle school. Honestly, at the time, I didn’t know anything about celebrities but being in SM where I learned how to sing and dance, my greed for becoming a singer grew. Baekhyun: I wanted to become a singer since 4th grade and I would even tell my friends that I was going to become a celebrity. And when I started taking auditions, I failed for other companies and after getting into high school, I was preparing to advance into a university with a music impact but oddly enough, the opportunity came to me. The day I went to take my exams, I was pretending to be a musician in that I was holding the music notes in front of the school and relaxing my vocals when someone suddenly tapped my back. I’m not sure if I can call this a luck of thousand years, but that’s how I was fatefully casted into SM. Kai: Since 3rd grade, I learned jazz dance and ballet. I just liked dancing so I would learn this dance and that dance. One day, I saw Shinhwa seniors dancing on TV and I asked my dad when seeing that, “What kind of dance is that?” He replied to me in saying, “That’s a dance that singers dance.” I told him, “I want to learn that dance.” My dad encouraged me to do so if it was something I wanted to do and since then, I prepared for 2 years for auditions and I passed. That was when I was in 6th grade and the company thought I was too young so they told me, “Come back in 2 years if you still want to be a singer.” So I entered SM in my 2nd year of middle school. Suho: I had dreams of becoming a singer since elementary and although it felt so far, I was coincidentally casted in middle school when I was going through my growth spurt as I was pretty tall and was casted by various places. I heard that the people from Seoul Samsungdong’s Trade Center would come by often since our house was nearby. Then I received an offer from SM’s end and I told my parents, as they said that if it’s a company like SM, it’s worth giving a shot and if I failed here, then I should draw the line of quitting. I’m not sure if I should be fortunate that it was luck, but I was given the chance to make a debut.

What’s your relation to EXO-M and do you feel like one team or feel a sense of rivalry with one another? Sehun: Although we’re doing separate promotions, we’re overall one planet, one group. We practice and eat together, so if you’re talking about rivalry, you can say it’s just rivalry out of good intentions. When we work on the same choreography, we look over and monitor each others’ videos and critique on what we lack in each other’s and there’s a little rivalry hinted, but wait, it’s not rivalry, just good intentions, good intentions is all.
How would you like to classify EXO’s music genre? Suho: We want to make our own genre for EXO. When people hear this song, they’ll think, “This is an EXO-like genre” and “This song has a feeling that’s extra-terrestrial.”
Do you have any family members working in this field? (Everyone looks around at each other while Chanyeol says) To be honest, my sister is a news anchor… (Everyone looks in shock and he interrupts) She’s preparing to become a news anchor!
Chanyeol is rumored as the “ulzzang of Hyundae High School.” Chanyeol: I’m not an ulzzang, but I heard a lot of things like that because I was known as a trainee while I was in high school. That stuff doesn’t really happen at school as I’ve never been asked out by a girl and I just wanted to be a quiet and calm student in school.
Tumblr media
What are your images of yourselves for your futures that you dream of, as well as the image of EXO-K? Baekhyun: I wish for us to be a group that marks history. 100 years from now, a group that can come up in history books like Beatles or Michael Jackson. Personally for me, whether it be varieties or acting, I want to do various types of promotions. Chanyeol: I wish for all 12 members of both K & M to be able to promote together forever. Personally for me, I’d like to be better in factors like composing or acting, even playing instruments like the guitar or drums. I want a lot of people to listen and like the music I make. Suho: As an artist, I want EXO to be recognized and be overall entertainers. Kai: I’ll do my best in my role for EXO. I really want to be acknowledged by all for dance and I want the world to know of our music. D.O.: I want to become a team that is loved by everyone across the world. I had other things I wanted to challenge since I was younger aside from being a singer and if the opportunity comes, I want to try becoming a chef too. Kai: D.O. is honestly the cooking monitor of the dorm. D.O.: I want to try being a hair designer or a fashion designer.
If you have the opportunity, you can have D.O. style your hair. (All the members) We don’t really want to trust him with our hair

EXO Reaction || Playing 7 Minutes In Heaven With Their Crush
Tumblr media
Similar Reactions: | Monsta X | Vixx | BTS | - Coming soon
Suho
He was flustered and tried to not get into this whole closet idea, but as soon as he heard you agree to do it he froze and looked at you in confusion. “Are you saying you will get into this closet with me?” Y/N: “Yeah” “And m... make out...” Y/N: “Yeah.”
He reluctantly went into the small closet with you and as soon as the doors closed he took a deep breath and grabbed your shoulders delicately. He then walked closer to you and slowly leaned in to give you a very short peck on the lips before he moved back dramatically. “I CAN’T DO THIS TO YOU”
Tumblr media
Xiumin
Right away, he had no problem with this situation. He confidently disappeared behind the closing closet door and stared at you longingly. He smirked. “Whenever you’re ready, Y/N.” He smoothly caressed your arm as he made the distance between you shorter to the point of your bodies nearly touching. You nodded reassuring him that he is allowed to begin.
Xiumin kissed you passionately, running his hands up and down your arm before he finally set them on your hips, pulling you even closer to him. Your body was hot from anticipation and he could hardly stop himself from going beyond the restriction he was giving himself. You wrapped your arms around him and you two were touching. There was a moan emerging from the closet every now and then when you gasped for air, but Xiumin boldly continued, pinning you ever so slightly to the wall of the closet and biting your earlobe as the final tease before the time was up.
Tumblr media
Luhan
At first Luhan wasn’t sure if this was okay. But seeing everyone’s encouragement and that you seemed to not have a problem with it, he gave in. The closet didn’t give you too much space, so Luhan was just close enough for you to feel his hot breath on you. You put your hands on his chest as his face closed in.
He linked his lips with yours and sensually kissed you. It didn’t take a long time before you two were mindlessely high on each other. It became hot and your scent mixed with his. It became so dizzily hot that you had to take off your jacket to which Luhan responded by putting his hands on your hips, a little under your shirt. “Will you be my girlfriend?” These words left Luhan’s mouth as he was caught up in the moment. Y/N: “I will”
Tumblr media
Yifan
“Why would us adults play a game like this...” He tried to get the idea out of their heads, but to no avail. His friends were already way drunk. Y/N: “It’s gonna be fun, come on~” You walked over to him and pulled him after you. He wanted to refuse, but he couldn’t knowing that you were up for that. He stared blankly at you as you were both in the closet and the doors closed.
You kissed him for a short time, then again, and again. Yifan was too shocked to respond at first, but he quickly began enjoying in the game. He started kissing you back, not too hard, being a gentleman. You were drunk, but not drunk enough not to genuinely enjoy it. You put your arms around his neck, pulling him close to you and kissing him harder. You took the lead, but it didn’t last that long before Yifan got so into it he could no longer be so gentle.
Tumblr media
Lay
He was giggly at first, not realizing how serious the guys were, he then became very shy, refusing to play this game. “We can’t do this. Y/N should accept kisses from her special someone, it’s not up to a game to decide.” There was (unfortunately) no way to change his mind, as he was serious about you keeping yourself to someone you love, even if it was not him in the end, as long as you felt comfortable with that person. He would have felt like he did the wrong thing if he let the game happen.
Tumblr media
Baekhyun
“Well this outing just became interesting” He laughed as he was closed in with you. He put his hands on your hips and cleared his throat. “I may or may not be a little nervous, please bear with me.” Y/N: “I am too”
Baekhyun took a short breath in and kissed you, moving his hands from your hips to your arms and down, intertwining his hands with yours. You held tightly onto him as you tilted your head left and right, sucking on each other’s lips in the speed of your fast breaths. You felt Baekhyun push his tongue into our mouth, but you didn’t stop him, but rather moaned lightly. Y/N: “This is weirdly arousing.” “I was gonna say the same but waited for you to say something like that so I don’t sound like a creep.” You laughed. Y/N: “Good point.”
Tumblr media
Chen
“Do you want your Jongdae dominant or submissive?” He asked right in front of the closet, using humour to lighten the mood. Y/N: “What if I choose submissive?” “Then should I take my clothes off?” You hit his arm and pulled him into the closet, closing it behind the two of you. You quickly held onto the sleeves of his jumper, pulling on them slightly.
“Let’s just work together.” He said as he walked closer and put his lips on yours. His lips were soft like cotton. You kissed him back. Your hands slowly wandered towards the zipper of the jacket. Chen was unsure what to do so he gently held onto your cheeks and caressed them sending a chill down your body. You opened his jacket and tried sliding it off his shoulders, however the time was up. Not surprisingly, the other members founds you two in a very awkward moment.
Tumblr media
Chanyeol
He was flustered when the idea was proposed, but neither him or you refused. As soon as you were closed in the closet Chanyeol could not help but laugh at the situation. After all, he was about to make out with his crush, which is somehing he could only experience in his mind. Y/N: “Chanyeol...” You put your hand on his shoulder and went on your tiptoes to reach the tall guy’s lips. You pecked him ever so lightly and he responded by wrapping his arms around you unconsciously. He became so close you felt the heat off of him on you, you started undoing the buttons of his shirt as he kissed you, this time vigorously, teasing your ear and even neck as he caressed you with the tips of his fingers, making you squirm under his touch. You fully unbuttoned his shirt and he invited his hands under yours. He rubbed his hands up and down your sides before the door opened. Chanyeol bashfully looked at them with his chest uncovered. Baekhyun: “OH MY GOD”
“It would be a lie to state that nothing special happened...”
Tumblr media
D.O.
Kyungsoo was a bit terrified by this proposition. He was not really into it, but at the same time it could have been his only chance to do something so unspeakable with you. Even though he didn’t like the idea of having such intense physical contact without a steady relationship first, he gave in, however he was way awkward and flustered.
You made the first move by pressing your lips to his, which startled him, but he didn’t refuse, but rather accepted your kiss. He was delicate, you could feel his awkwardness in the air, which was normal, you felt it too to some degree. You hugged him, not parting your lips. The air was incredibly hot at this point and you swore you heard Kyungsoo moan once (or more, you prob couldn’t hear through your light moaning).
That was as far as you two went, and as soon at the closet opened, Kyungsoo stormed out, not looking back. Who knew where he went, but he was probably both regretting and blessing this moment.
Tumblr media
Zitao
He agreed after you and confidently stood in front of you in the closet. He smiled and asked you if you’re sure it’s okay. Hearing you accept him made his confidence overflow. He rubbed your neck and to your surprise, he gave it a kiss. The kiss was long and soon turned into sucking which only resulted in a raspberry-red hickey. You held your breath as his lips moved higher, his lower lip had minimal touch with your skin, which was thrilling. You then kissed him lightly on the lips. “Just be rough with me.” He said, fully unaware of how it sounds. However, it managed to work, as you worked on his lips more roughly.
You became sweaty and needy. There was no stopping you no matter what. Zitao managed to undo your bra underneath your shirt, but the fun stopped as soon as the closet opened. “It was getting interesting, I hate you all.”
Tumblr media
Kai
As sweet as he is, he couldn’t resist the offer knowing you were okay with it, after all, it’s all your choice. He felt nice knowing you didn’t mind being intimate with him, and he used this knowledge to his advantage so he could get very close to you.
In the closet, he put on his sex appeal and plunged in to the kiss. Your lips became one and you were lost in the pleasing feeling. His plump lips caressed yours sensually and his nose delicatelly ticked your skin, making the mix of feelings a blissful sensation. You couldn’t help moving your arms all around his torso, keeping him especially close to you. Jongin knew his way with you, and his kisses were powerful and more perfect than you could have ever imagined. However, the fun was cut short by the damned closet door opening.
Tumblr media
Sehun
Everyone knew about his crush on you, mostly because it was obvious. They knew they had t opair you up with Sehun, and you didn’t seem to find it problematic.
He accepted the challenge reluctantly. Having the opportunity to be so close with you made him feel excited and it could have been a great opportunity to get even closer with you. Everyone began teasing him as soon as he agreed to do it, and his only response was “I just said ‘yes’ for fun” and obviously no one believed it.
In the end you two were finally closed in the closet and Sehun lost all his ability to act human. He started sweating and mumbling under his nose. Y/N: “I thought you were confident about this, relax, it’s just a dumb game, it’s not like it’s your first kiss” You put your hand on his shoulder to make him feel more at ease. He nodded and moved in to kiss you, but you dodged and kissed his cheek instead to tease him, which only made him feel more terrified than ever. Y/N: “Sehun, I’m just messing with you~ You always tease me so it’s payback time” But Sehun had none of it and kissed you roughly, pushing you to the back of the closet. You were shocked by his sudden change of attitude, but it was a nice change. You gave in completely and by the time you had to go, you were already a new baked couple.

[INTERVIEW] EXO - 191220 Teen Vogue: K-Pop Stars EXO Reflect on How Far They've Come — and How Far They'll Go
"As Chen tells Teen Vogue, this year has been “a time for EXO to reflect” on their past, present, and future.
“That’s the most important.”"

EXO, We Are One! Saranghaja!
EXO is a kpop group that is composed of 12 members. They started as 12 and now they are down to 8. They first debuted in April 8, 2012.
The following were the original members: ·        Suho (Leader, EXO-K, Kim Jun Myeon) ·        Xiumin (Kim Min Seok) ·        Sehun (Oh Se Hun) ·        Chanyeol (Park Chan Yeol) ·        Kai (Kim Jong In) ·        D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) ·        Chen (Kim Jong Dae) ·        Baekhyun (Byun Baek Hyun) ·        Kris (Leader, EXO-M, Wu Yifan) ·        Lay (Zhang Yixing) ·        Tao (Huang Zitao) ·        Luhan (Lu Han)
And now, they continue with their concerts and promotions with 8 members visibly left: ·        Suho ·        Xiumin ·        Sehun ·        Chanyeol ·        Kai ·        D.O. ·        Chen ·        Baekhyun
Why am I writing this blog about EXO?
I am not really into KPOP music until the time when I was able to discover that EXO existed. Yes, for real. I am a fan of EXO. Maybe I am not like other EXO fans which considered themselves as EXO-L who are really into buying things about them and being in their concerts and some who were so possessive when it comes to their personal lives and love life. However, all I can say is that I admired this group, the members, the talents, and their kind of music. Whenever I saw their performances on You Tube and other online platforms, my heart became so happy. I felt like in cloud 9. Whenever they cried, it is tearing me apart. I can feel their sincerity as idols and as a person. I really hate seeing them cry because they don’t deserve to be sad. They are idols who made me happy and every time I read hate comments about them, it makes me so angry and sad as well. They are really great and don’t deserve all the negativity in the world. It is my first time to be hooked by a KPOP idol group which is very unusual to me way, way back then. It makes me so happy and inspired every time I am down because of life’s challenges. It makes me so alive whenever I watched videos about them, good news about them, and hearing their music even though I did not understand some of the lyrics. For me, it is not more of understanding the lyrics but it is on how it captivates your heart, the feeling that is in the music that is more important. I am not Korean therefore it is normal for me not to understand their words used and I still need some subtitles. However, the way they sing a song really makes me love their music. There are a lot of ways to communicate to other people and they were able to get that. They’ve got the talent to communicate to the people in any part of the world. I am one witness of that. They are so talented that even their voices transmit a lot of emotions, feelings, and messages to those who are listening to them.
At the start, I’ve been hooked by one of the member, Chanyeol for he is so good and later on as I started to view videos about them and watching their MVs, I started to love all of them. I really love watching them on variety shows and seeing them get to improve day by day. I don’t know them personally but by seeing them on videos and reading things about them, I know in my heart that they possessed good and kind-hearted person. I am also happy to their achievements. I am secretly rejoicing their every success as a group and even on their own one. I was wishing to meet them in person someday to acknowledge them on how they have changed my way of thinking in life. I wanted to thank them for being an inspiration to millions, billions of people in the whole wide world and to me personally on how did they become one of my inspiration. I am really so happy with their own achievements in life… their awards and others. In the recent news which shocked the entire EXO Planet, there were positive and negative comments. EXO Chen which in real life is Jongdae got married and even having a baby girl with his wife before they got married. Well, it was sudden yet I am so happy for him and her wife and to their baby girl as well. For me, it is something worth rejoicing. A lot of fans or shall I say trolls wanted to push him away, and be eliminated from the group but I am against with that idea. It wasn’t a mistake having that news because it’s a blessing. We have to rejoice, for Chen is responsible for his action. I am so grateful for his achievement. I was even hoping for an update about him and his family. For sure, he is happy with his new life with his family. However, I hope that he will still remain as an EXO member and still stay with the group. I want him to still do concerts with the group. He must not lose courage to still be on stage. Maybe, they’re few people who hated him but I want him to hold on with the billions of people who wanted him on stage with the group supporting him and the group all the way.
I hope that even though they are not complete while the other members were having their mandatory military services, the remaining members will still actively do some promotions and concerts as a group. I want to see them representing their group as one. Because EXO, We are one!
I hope that someday, the group will make a comeback as they all will finish their mandatory military services. I will definitely wait for the day that they will perform again as an EXO group. My heart will patiently wait for them. As Suho said in one of his posts that if you enjoy waiting, that is love, well, since I love them, I’ll be waiting for their comeback. Hoping that the 8 years as for now will reach 50 years and more. I hope that even though they will already have a family on their own, EXO will still be there; doing concerts, new albums, and promotions, even commercials. I will still surely support them even in those moments of time. Even though I will also have a family of my own, I will still idolize them and introduce them to my family… to my future kids. That will surely be a promise as an EXO fan.
EXO, we are one! Saranghaja! Saranghae! You will always be part of my life until the end. I hope that this blog of mine will make people see how good and great EXO Korean idol group is.

200819 How Lay Zhang Claimed The Throne of M-pop
“’Lit’ continues to explore chasing your dream. This time it’s about more personal things in my life. Like hometown, family and self-doubt.” Photo: Courtesy of Zhang Yixing Studio
“I don’t think people can ever understand an artist completely. But they can relate to many things. I think that is a challenge for an artist to see how they can use their music to connect with people. It is a worthy challenge.” Photo: Courtesy of Zhang Yixing Studio
“I want to keep growing as an artist. But also I want to let my fans know that I am reading their comments and I see everything they say.” Photo: Courtesy of Zhang Yixing Studio
A very busy schedule.

xiumin ; what am i worth? (everything but the bad things, sweetie)
Title: what am i worth? (everything but the bad things, sweetie)
Author: minselleoli
Word Count: 1.74k words.
Summary:
Minseok has always been quiet.
And for someone who's quiet, no one will have a clue on what he's feeling.
So when he reads something online about what he's really worth,
He became more silent; torturing himself with thoughts,
Of self-doubts and insecurity,
He masks away with silence and a smile.
Minseok looked at his reflection at the mirrors of one of SM's spacious dance practice rooms.
They were just dismissed from practice and everyone's preparing to leave so that they can finally rest. In midst of the chaos of who goes first in the showers and his other members shouting at each other about misplaced and missing items, Minseok stood still and inspected himself from the mirror, his phone in his hand. The screen was showing screenshots of tweets. Comments about his SMStation with Mark. Comments about him going to destroy the collab. Comments about him not doing anything right. Comments questioning people about what he's worth.
He began to think.
Before he debuted into EXO and its sub-unit EXO-M, he first auditioned in JYP two times. He didn't make the cut but he continued to work hard. He entered a contest - S.M. Everysing Contest. He was scouted by SM when he won 2nd place. A lot of people didn't know this, but as an SM Rookie, Minseok was not chubby. He was chubby ever since he was a child, but after being accepted as a trainee in SM, he lost weight, probably because of SM's diet plans for their artists and trainees. He looked the same as he was right now, so there's no such thing as him getting plastic surgery as well.
When he debuted, he was introduced as EXO and EXO-M's Xiumin, the lead rapper and the lead dancer. It was seen that he was a chubbier during MAMA era. A fan called him fat. He decided to diet and the next thing we knew, WOLF era welcomed us with a thinner Xiumin. In a 2016 interview, he revealed that during GROWL era and the previous era, he only ate one meal a day and kept drinking coffee.
During the year 2014, a lot of things happened in the fandom and EXO. With a lawsuit filed and one member, the positions of the EXO-M members were affected. Luhan became the leader, Tao and Xiumin became the rappers, the rest still keeping their positions.
Until they dealt with more losses, however. The second leader left them, and Lay became the duizhang. Tao followed the steps of his two geges and the moment he did, the sub-unit EXO-M ceased to exist. Even without an official announcement that the Chinese sub-unit is gone, everyone, especially those who stanned the whole Chinese sub-unit has to accept this painful fate of the remaining members of it. Chen still is the main vocal, Lay a main dancer, and Xiumin? What had become of Xiumin?
In the year 2015, Xiumin was given the chance to be in a collab with Jimin of AOA, was Na Dojeon, the lead role in the web drama, Falling in Challenge, and a movie where he starred as Gyeon, a sidekick's of Seondal the feud master. It was apparent that he was made the point, the center of all of EXO's releases that year. Everyone recognized him this year, so he thought everything will be alright. Everyone thought he'll finally get what he deserves.
EX'ACT came and his presence in the album is well-known, cinematography-wise. Some says he was the mastermind behind all of the experiments happening to everyone in the concept that Lee Sooman picked for them but who knows? Even then, Xiumin still have these doubts lingering somewhere in his mind - what's his position now? He shrugs it off every time it pops in his mind. He doesn't have to confuse himself further. He have better things to worry about. Like the upcoming comeback and the Station. Yeah, right, the Station--
"Minseok-hyung? Are you not going to take a shower yet?" It was Kyungsoo who came up to him. The younger probably wondered why Minseok's still not fighting his way inside the shower rooms. He came up to Minseok, blinking, as if asking why Minseok's not his usual self suddenly.
"I'd probably stay back for awhile. You all can go ahead." Minseok was sheepish as he said the words, something that made Kyungsoo worry - the one already knew why Minseok's acting like this, but he knew Minseok's a private person, so he didn't press on the topic any further. He only gave his hyung an assuring back rub and a soft smile, before he left for the showers while Junmyeon's busy bickering with Jongin and Sehun about who's next in line.
When the main vocalist left, Minseok moved to arrange his things for the meantime, coming out of the practice room afterwards so he can get some fresh air. His heart was beating way too fast, and he coudn't understand why. Why is this happening? He himself is not sure about it. He was trained to not let these kind of things affect him. But why is this getting to him? Because of him, they'll--
Boycott.. the song? This is too much for Mark. He thought as he reread the comments, scratching the back of his head. He's still too young to experience this. I shouldn't have asked the company to make this if this'll happen. Sighing heavily, he read more even though he felt lost, seemingly can't stop scrolling the feed of his dummy account. And he thought the first ones weren't bad--
"Minseok-hyung?" Another main vocal called out to him. Minseok didn't even need to turn around to see who was the one called out for him. He knew that voice. Baekhyun. "Minseok-hyung, why are you still here-- Hyung?"
Minseok didn't know what happened next but Baekhyun's hands were on his face, cupping his cheeks. He considered snarling at the younger male - everyone knows that he hates it when someone holds his face, and Baekhyun's not exempted from that - but the next things he knows Baekhyun was frowning at him. He was taken aback and confused. Why was Baekhyun frowning?
"Why are you crying?" Baekhyun mumbled, eyebrows knitted together in concern.
It's a stupid question. Minseok knew he wasn't even crying. So what the hell is Baekhyun talking about?
Baekhyun slowly caressed the spots under Minseok's eyes and Minseok's vision immediately blurred. It can't be. Was he really crying? He's not crying. Baekhyun's just pranking him right now. Baekhyun's fingers must've been wet. Minseok closed his eyes and more tears kept coming, the drops wetting Baekhyun's delicate fingers. He was crying. He was really crying. When was the last time he cried? He forgot, but who was he fooling? He spent countless nights crying himself to sleep.
"Tell me." Baekhyun's voice was soft, assuring, warm and everything that Baekhyun is. Minseok cried even more at the tone Baekhyun used. He felt safe and assured and he's exploding.
"You have to answer me honestly," Minseok breathed and leaned against Baekhyun's hands, eyes remaining closed as he gripped his phone. "You have to tell me, everything that I'm worth. Tell me please, I am too tired, everyone's saying I have no right to be with you all, they say that everything I do is wrong, always wrong, and will not be right no matter how hard I try.."
Baekhyun's heart ached at the sight of his hyung crying in front of him, the hyung who remained strong for them in the darkest days, the one who kept a smile on his face despite hurting inside, his hyung who was supportive of them and remained watching their backs as they have fun. He wasn't used to this sight. Minseok breaking down in front of him is too much. Minseok looking weak is too much.
"I have no right to say this hyung, but I know-- I know what you're feeling. I may have never experienced it but I know you're doubting yourself and judging yourself way too hard because some things are not so clear to you. Hyung, without you, what would have become of us? You are worth everything, and we deserved you, so please don't say you don't deserve to be with us. You were the one who was behind Suho-hyung who was behind us as well. You were the one who kept us upright with your strength as an individual. You were like the wall who kept our leader upright. You helped him make us alright, hyung." Baekhyun breathed, emotions awakening but he controlled them; craning Minseok's head up so the older was facing him because Minseok gazed downwards. "Hyung, without you, what do you think will become of us? You can sing, and can easily become a vocalist if one us are injured or sick. You can rap -- you have always been EXO's rapper, and you'll always be a rapper even if you don't have bars of your own. You can dance -- hyung, you're one of the best dancers of EXO! To think that you got solo dances of your own, that proves your worth. So stop, stop crying,"
Minseok cried harder, too emotional to even say anything. He was bing enlightened with the things he's too confused to know. He was assured that he was worth it, but what should he do with the information? It hurts him so much. His chest feels heavy.
"You know what, you should go take a shower now," Baekhyun suggested and drew his hands away from Minseok's face. "Afterwards, let's chill with the others in Hongdae. You could use some of it."

Anthem Game Review
During the years when the role-playing games began to lose their sparkles, Baldur’s Gate signed its name in history and engraved its name with the golden letters. The legendary heroes look like the Legion of the Dawn.
Just like Legion of Dawn began to interfere with legends like history in recent years at BioWare. In particular, with Mass Effect Andromeda, they will be stuck in the bottom after being stuck to the bottom, or they will come back to the surface with the momentum they are getting from the bottom, and we are looking at the new brands Anthem, who will decide on it a lot. And unfortunately, the result seems to determine how much Bioware can hold his breath under water.
The Divine BioWare!
In Anthem, we are witnessing mankind, who are barely fighting for survival in a dangerous and mysterious world. It is hundreds of years since the legendary heroes called Legion of Dawn save the human race from slavery under the Urgoth race. After the death of the leader of the Legion, Helena Tarsis, the organization could not stay together and these heroes were divided into three groups: Freelancers, Sentinels and Dominion. We represent the Freelancer part of these three factions. Dominion is a kind of mercenary group of mercenaries, who once stood together in the Legion of Dawn. In addition to non-human external threats, Dominion is a kind of police force that protects our main enemies and the Sentinels, mainly Antium. The common denominator of the three groups is that they use exo-armor called ion Javelin baş which is being produced in the time of Legion of Dawn against the threats of the outside world. When it comes to Dominion, some da weird in tools come into play, but it’s a fact that it tells the story.
These three groups and each of their struggles is trying to tell you a lot of big and small stories. But to understand the world of the game, there is one more important thing you should know, the “Anthem” that gave the name to the game, or “Anthem of Creation”, that is to say “The Deity of Creation”. You know that those who are familiar with Middle Earth, or rather Silmarillion, come from Ainur’s Music, the myth of the creation of Tolkien. Anthem’s creation mythology rests his back on a similar music. The divine beings, known as Shapers, which are believed to have shaped the world, have created lives using this Creation of Creation, forming the earth as if they were playing with the play dough. But the legends in the game say that the Shaper disappeared for an unclear reason before completing this formatting process.
These various remnants and mechanisms, which were used to shape the world, but were left behind, caused the world of Anthem to be unstable and chaotic. Often freelancer groups bir silenced lenmiş the remains of the disasters by preventing ”silencing”, but sometimes there is no way to prevent these disasters. This brings us to The Heart of Rage, the opening scene of Anthem. In the first moments of the game, the story that left us in the lap of disaster, reveals how we stumbled as a freshman Freelancer and we were doing a great job. A two-year leapfold after that, he throws us at a time when Freelancers’ reputation is razed to the forefront of even the simplest contracts. Throughout the game there are many movements and choices that will bring Freelancers to the golden days.
Fortnite Waterfalls (Fortnite Overtime challenge)
If you look on paper, all the ingredients are actually in place to create a marvelous recipe, right? A mysterious and engaging world pattern is okay, the Javelin concept is exquisite. Even the organization that we have the chance to become one of the last and last members of the organization is like the signature of Bioware. But even though the main components are beautifully set up, when you start to experience the rest, you see that the situation is similar to that of Anthem’s fiction: half-and-missing by the stylers. Well, in this case, it is very ironic that the metaphor of The Heart of Rage coincides with the players who are finished and waiting to buy in full.
I can’t say that I didn’t enjoy the game during the time I played. Maybe Mass Effect: Andromeda Bioware after the standards about my very low falls in the bottom of the company brings to the mind of the game, the game world, dialogue and character is very nice. Especially in Destiny, which is one of the nearest competitors of Anthem, I kept Freelancer being an overly talkative and entertaining character, considering that one of the most loved characters of the series should be spent in order to break a single sentence from the main character’s mouth for the last two years; it has added both depth and personality to the character. Although they are one of Andromeda’s most humiliated deficiencies, it is very enjoyable to watch the cinematic moments when it comes to the successful character animations made from a lot of buckets to compensate.
Anthem’s gameplay is mostly divided into two parts: the first one in which we enter into dialogue with the nation in Fort Tarsis, where we collect the Codex entries and paint our Javelin armor and set our weapons. Fortunately, the speed of walking at the speed of the animal in the demo, which is a bit faster in the full version of the speed of the full version of the speed of the chore. We meet and mingle with most of the characters in this section, and as I said, there are really interesting ones among them and they are able to connect you to them after some place. They have managed to make Fort Tarsis feel alive for some time. But when you see that you have no contact with anyone except for a handful of predetermined characters, and of course Zoe is trying to get into your Javelin for the fiftieth time. If he really brings korox to the city, he goes to history books! Olursa You’ll understand the characters, although the stories are beautifully written, not too deep and layered. It’s really a pity that we have even reduced the speech options to two, this time when we call Bioware’s dialogue wheel even shallow. Now that you’re talking, you choose one of the two options, and I don’t recall any choice that would affect the story and progress. I think there was only one choice ”you could go to X or Y to do that piece of armor” in the story z although I had done both of them to gain maximum experience points, something changed.
youtube
I said the game is split in two, but there’s actually one more secret between the two: Javelin’s personalization. When I was creating my character, it was oddly enough to choose only one of the ready-made smileys, but when I saw the personalization part of Javelin, I saw that they showed the real care here and I was satisfied. At least first. Because I’m telling you, the whole of Anthem is full of areas that affect you at first glance but when you start digging you find it much more shallow than you expect. That’s one of them. You set up all the equipment of your Javelin, its weapons, its modes or something called J Forge J. The most standard parts are up to two weapons that you can carry with you. Apart from that, there are modes that improve your various features – if you want to get full efficiency, I recommend you to choose the special modes for your Javelin type. Each Javelin has a support ability, and also has heavy balls that you want to use at every turn, corresponding to Q and E on the keypad. Take extra care when selecting these capabilities, as it is very important to set up Primer and Detonator support. Even if you’ve played the game, you can say, yen What is a primer, is it a Detonator? Oyun As a matter of fact, the game makes little effort to explain these features. Again, there are players in what; Redditimten FireDragon04 has created a very useful table, share it here, let’s assume the task Bioware has done spontaneously. (We can even say that in general, Bioware has a serious problem in giving information to the players)
Primer in summary combo preparation movements; First you use them and prepare the enemy in combo, then use your Detonator skills to inflict damage like crazy. Especially in GM1 and above difficulties, it is imperative to use these skills very effectively, so I would like to learn through the general course of the game and learn to practice your hand.
Considering the fact that your Javelin represents you, it is also important to see what the equipment looks like. The cosmetic look you can fine-tune from Forge has a wide range to start. You will come across many different colors and types of Javelins. There is also an analogy of Javelin to Ironman, EVA-01 and Gundam. If you’re wondering who did what, I suggest you take a look at Reddit’s related area. My only disappointment was that the new armor types were not opened as the game progressed. Prospero sells some armor shapes with a stock that changes every week, but it was definitely much more than my expectation. One time is added to the fields where the game needs to improve itself m
Javelins On Us, Weapons In Our Belts J
Eve, we’re here to spend most of our time! No, I’m not talking about installation screens. Although he did not spend a little time during the Early Access period of the game, there is no lie. But the game was able to significantly reduce the patch load times that came before the official exit. So I would like to take a look at the part where we jump into our Javelins and open to the outside world.
First of all, let me take a look: It’s really fun to use Javelins. A total of four Javelin types each have its own, different gameplay. I’m not talking about minor differences in one ability and not in the other. each Javelin really requires a different style of play.
Javelin is a Ranger. She is a bit talented in every respect, and Javelin herself is a young Freelancer. Clearly, it is an ideal model that works in most situations because it can do almost everything that others do (not as good as they are). After the opening, the game gives you the choice of Javelin. The Interceptor is a sleek armor, based on a completely fast movement. If you want to attack the weak points behind the enemy or want to beat the enemy in close combat, this is ideal. Let me remind you that the armor is too weak, not too many enemy fire. Colossus, who is an expert in breastfeeding. It is heavy, slow, but appeals to those who love to put the big shield in the middle of the opponent’s face while sitting and running. representative of the tank class. The last remaining Javelin is Storm, originally Dominion technology. Let’s face it, it’s also one of the most enjoyable armor. Although it is very lightly armored, it stretches its opponents long in the air and strangles its opponents. Just like the magician, you’ll float on top of the battlefield, lightning, fires, and cut down your enemies. Whichever you choose, the more your pilot level is (2, 8, 16, and 26), the more you open them all, and without leaving Fort Tarsis, you can choose whichever you want.
Anthem Javelin Guide – Which One Should We Choose At First?
You have a few different options when you go out into the open world. Freeplay throws you at the heart of the open world and you can explore and explore as you like in this mode. Apart from that, you can perform the tasks and contracts that the story of the game offers you, or if you feel lucky, you can dive into Quickplay and join other players’ random missions and parties. However, because you may not coincide with the tasks that you have not done yet, beware of spoilers. For some reason they thought that it was a good idea to teleport even in important moments of tasks such as Destiny, or even when you stood in your boss for two minutes instead of teleporting your team; instead, it has been a feature that undermines the gaming pleasure. Let me go myself to my teammates I’ve already seen two steps away, right? Anyway, once you get to a certain point in the story, you’ll have a choice called Strongholds. This is Anthem’s dungeon concept. Four people get together and try to find out where the Scar’s got their acidic weapons. The answer is particularly sad for those who have arachnophobia, and I’ll also be stimulated for that. After finishing the main scenario, two more Strongholds are opened, one of which is actually the last one. Even though they are delightful, there are only two strongholds, again giving the impression that Bioware’s work is a bit rushed. At least they said they would add an extra stronghold in the Act 01 add-ons, which will come at least later in March. I hope that the number of Stronghold in the game continues to increase rapidly.
Water Cooled Jetpack
Anthemğs open world, even though its formation is unfinished, has an eye-catching beauty. The regions, which are designed as horizontally as vertical, attract and attract you to your sense of discovery at first. But as in the whole game, you realize that you are doing just three things in this big world after a while: You are killing something or trying to defend a circle until a radio signal bar is filled or you pick up an object in the direction that your radar tells you and bring it to a certain area. It is a pity that the entire mission structure of the Koskoca Anthem is based solely on these three.
There are many areas in the open world that you can explore outside these missions, but these are mostly Codex notes, Arcanist runes or treasure chests; they do not feel sufficiently. full m, they do not reward your discoveries. Fortunately, the map is not as small as I thought it was at first glance. But when you open the map screen to see it, you’ll regret it because you’re going to regret it because you’ve designed a disgraceful interface that is overwhelmed by the uselessness of the menus. The fact that the map screen has nothing to do with the vertical playground, as well as any marking, or the fact that Freeplay is the most inexpensive of some of the standard features of the market, even the cheapest and most foolish games such as showing where you die when you are playing alone, is a complete disaster. Fortunately, players have been voicing their opinions quite a bit about this since the demon, which, despite all the negativity, still leads me to the slightest crumb of Anthem.
Yeah, yeah, you didn’t read it wrong. Despite all these considerations, despite the cons, I still don’t close the door to the possibility that Anthem could be a good game, sitting one day in the future. Because the main components of the game have nice ideas, fun mechanics. When you enter the forums or Reddit, you can see that Bioware really wants Anthem to succeed when you look at the producers’ posts on Twitter. Then why don’t you know if you say the game is fully ready, ready before the end, I don’t know. Maybe the EA game pushed for early decals, perhaps they believed they could roll the caravan on the road, maybe they would give the players the game and then think about making changes according to the next comments.
What is certain is that Bioware has released Anthem on the market without taking lessons from their mistakes, although there are examples like The Division and Destiny before them. But at least they’re making a quick and enthusiastic return from these two rivals that I’ve counted about listening to their players and responding to their requests. So it is very unlikely that we will find a much more neat, well-established game in the coming months as it is in the competition. Oh, can I suggest you buy the game by then? That depends on how much you trust Bioware and how hungry you are in a new loot-shootera. Instead of spending a lot of money on a game that is still lacking in tone, it is better to take a Origin Access membership and test it in a 10-hour trial. But the fact that Bioware can keep her breath at that bottom where she collapsed while keeping a close line on the edge from The Division 2 k
Since this is a continuum game, we plan to update our review when BioWare makes the game better.
PROS:
It’s very enjoyable to check the javelins. Each has its own playing style. Fly! His world, his characters and his stories give hope for the future. He manages to think and use the game map as vertically as horizontally. Bioware is quick and effective in getting in touch with players and getting a return. No meaningless long micro-pay walls, the game is rewarding you generously to get what you want.
CONS:
Interface design disaster. The map is incredibly unusable, suffocating with the menus. Masterwork is very ordinary until you reach the level of Legendary There are only three types of tasks, and it quickly turns into a vicious circle. When Freeplay is entered with random players, they leave everyone unreliable and do not direct enough. There are no choices to influence the story. It is generally rushed and feels like it needs further development. He’s still so pathetic.

200925 Key Tracks: SuperM’s ‘Super One’
The members of SuperM - Taemin, Baekhyun, Kai, Taeyong, Mark, Ten and Lucas - are amongst the most skilled and experienced dancers, rappers and vocalists in the South Korean pop industry.
Dubbed by their label upon debut as the ‘Avengers as K-Pop”, ostensibly for this formidable combination of talents, Super M went on to prove equally powerful on the charts. Their eponymous debut EP, released last October, landed at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 200 and No.19 in the UK album chart.
Out in a matter of hours, their first full-length album, ‘Super One’ (preceded by the singles ‘100’ and ‘Tiger Inside’) brings with it, says the group, a message of unity in a time of pandemic and uncertainty.
Earlier this week, SuperM partook in a global, roundtable interview live from Seoul, unpacking the elements that lie within their sound and behind their teamwork. Here’s everything we know about K-Pop’s latest supergroup, and their brand new record.
Key track 1: Infinity
Beloved by Mark and Ten’s for its “dynamic and storytelling”, ‘Infinity’ is nothing short of a space opera, fired up with choral bursts and a demanding wub-wub bass that twists beneath the harmonies. “Like a blaze of glory, going overdrive / Going to live my story, everything I do to feel alive,” they declare, more victorious than defiant.
Even a supergroup needs motivation and, no matter how long they’ve spent being pop stars, SuperM are still constantly learning and honing their craft Rapper Mark calls reaching No.1 on the US charts an “honour. To have our fans combine their strength to help us really felt great. It motivated us and we put in double the amount of effort [on this album], so we believe the quality went up that much as well.”
If there’s any pressure on them to repeat the success of their EP, then they’re not outwardly displaying it. Instead, Baekhyun, the group’s eldest at 28, looks at their growth as performers. “One of the things I learned in preparing for this album is we were able to stretch our limits even more. We’ve released ‘100’, ‘Tiger Inside’ and now, the title track ‘One’. Each of these songs has such a great concept and choreography and putting all that together was really challenging.”
Key track 2: Big Chance
“I personally like taking big chances and opportunities so this song, just the title itself, captured my attention,” says Baekhyun. “It’s a good song that showcases our individual charms.” Sung in English, this western radio-friendly cut is frothy with a falsetto hook and bouncy instrumental, triggering a yearning for simpler times, fun summer nights and the press of a warm hand into your own. One key ingredient to SuperM’s appeal is their yin and yang charms - consummate professionals on stage, the epitome of chaotic good off stage.
Though only just clear of a year as a group, their connection is infallible; during the 40-minute roundtable they cheer like sports fans after their every reply and so frequently get the giggles mid-answer that, at one point, they’re hushed by their staff and sit scolded like naughty schoolboys. Hong Kong-born Lucas, whose Korean isn’t fluent, sends his bandmates into fits of brotherly laughter as he enthusiastically attempts to summarize their “different but connected” aesthetics but there’s a telepathy between all seven and Kai and Mark patiently, warmly, elucidate for him.
Taeyong, in halting but near-perfectly inflected English, recalls Taemin’s detailed work on their choreography and calls their performances “really dope and great, and untouchable”, and Mark and the group’s second English-speaker, Ten, beam.
But SuperM’s funniest moments are unintentional, often born from juxtaposition: Kai politely discussing his love of the “energising” ‘Tiger Inside’ but there’s Mark and Taemin distractingly pose like circus tigers, or Baekhyun revealing their sonic maturation as - “We wanted to relay the message of positivity rather than just focus on the performance” - even as Taemin thoroughly amuses himself by practising the severed thumb trick.
Key track 3: Better Days
The ballad with underrated beginnings, according to Ten. “When I listened to that song, I was like, ‘does it sound kinda old, seriously, it sounds like [from the] 90s’,” he says. Although the verses are perhaps more Macklemore than Mytown, its sweet, retro chorus blooms over a simple piano line, and the message, adds Ten, “is healing. When we’re together, we can make a better day.”
From tanks to supercars, SuperM are known for their use of vehicles in their videos, but there’s more to it than being a petrolhead Their debut single, ‘Jopping’, featured a helicopter and a tank, ‘100’ gave us CGI cars and a futuristic train, and ‘Tiger Inside’ sported a garish fur print motorbike but, according to Kai, this affinity for things that go vroom-vroom isn’t merely an aesthetic. “We can’t really travel right now because of the pandemic but we really hope that, just like these modes of transportation [can] take you somewhere, that our songs and music and album can take you to a place of hope, that higher place where everyone can be happy.”
Key track 4: Together At Home
The aim of ‘Super One’, says Mark, is to bring hope and unity to a world gone dark. “For ‘Together At Home’ (Taeyong’s favourite track), we really felt, like, ‘we’re all staying together at home so what are the ways we can connect through our songs?’” It’s one of the album’s finest moments - joyous, high gloss synth-funk with a chorus that steals the show with pure panache. Making an album that not only highlights each member’s skills but also creates a definitive SuperM is not an easy task.
The members’ respective groups - SHINee, WayV, NCT and EXO - already have such defined sonic identities that creating an entirely new one for SuperM would have been wildly ambitious. Instead, SuperM is a lake into which four rivers flow, and ‘Super One’, which takes an individual leaf out of each group’s playbooks (EXO’s glorious harmonies, NCT’s bonkers bass lines, and so on) and wilfully sews them together, is that aspiration realised.
For SuperM, their album is a leap forward; Taemin points out that ‘Super One’ harmonises the member’s skills “way better than we did initially [on the ‘SuperM’ EP], with this album we’re able to experiment more and try out different genres and see how it comes together.”
Key track 5: Wish You Were Here
“This would have been a great title track,” says Taemin, who chooses it as his favourite. “It’s one that’s kind of unexpected because audiences expect performance-heavy songs and the message within this brings the whole album together.” Faintly tinged with the flavour of steel drums and 80s percussion, the longing woven into the rhythms is dream-like and hypnotic.
No matter how successful you appear, there’s always seemingly wobbly career stepping stones… and you just have to take them, one haircut at a time Between them, they possess over 40 years of experience as performers yet Taeyong admits that not everything they work on feels clear cut. “I’m sure everyone feels the same way but, when we started our careers, a lot of the moments we go through feel like we’re still trying to get there. We’re not fully there yet.
There’s a lot of moments where it might have felt like a failure but everything was a step to build up to what we have now.” Such pragmatism means that their keenest regrets are, quite fortunately, follicle related. “When I debuted,” recalls Mark, “my hair was very short so my bangs were above my eyebrows and I honestly hated it. But coming back to it now, it was cute, it was appropriate for that age, that time of my life.”
Ten agrees wholeheartedly: “Like [for] ‘7th Sense’, when I saw my hair, I was like, ‘this is not going to work out’ but now I miss it so much!” It has to be said that it’s just hair but Mark, his own faded from being magenta into a cotton-candy pink, and as a K-Pop veteran, cheerily protests such a claim. “Hair is an important factor!”
