(it's official, I'm starting to write for the seven deadly sins!! I don't even know if there are fellow sds omegaverse enjoyers on this app?? but I noticed there isn't a single fic about them in an abo au! so I just had to :/)

ALPHA! MELIODAS

meliodas is a strong, reliable alpha. he's what you expect to find in most alphas.

he's confident in himself and his strength, he has a charismatic personality so suitable for his second gender. he has that natural charm which naturally draws others to him.

he might look like a child, but his instincts weight heavy on his mind and influence a lot his behaviour. he's able to keep them in check when necessary, but overall, they make him extremely sensitive to his omega's safety and well being.

he possesses such a strong unwavering loyalty for you, nothing can sway the love he harbours preciously for you. you can be sure he would go to great lengths to keep you safe, and would wreak havoc should suffering fall upon his beloved omega.

but despite his fierce and intimidating behaviour, meliodas is quick to reassure his omega in times of crisis and distress. that easy going demeanor of his, would instantly make you relax. if he tells you everything is fine, then it is true, you can put your mind at ease.

meliodas is also a big flirt, not even waiting for you to date to touch you inappropriately. he loves it when you shy away, softly scold him and deny the big blush on your cheeks. your flustered self always gives off a particularly sweet scent he absolutely craves.

however, don't let this flirtatious nature of him deceive you. as I said, mikey is fiercely loyal, once he's committed to you, he'll stand by you through thick and thin, his devotion and affection unshakable.

ALPHA! BAN

ban also is a great example of the alpha archetype. he has an arrogance only an alpha his calibre could possess.

he acts so sure of himself, throwing snarky remarks at anyone, not fearing their wrath anyways and even finding satisfaction in the fights he sparks.

he has strong pheromones and doesn't care about suppressing them, unless you're the one who lectures him about it.

despite everything, ban has a pure heart and treats you like you're made of porcelain. of course he teases you, but his whole demeanor completely changes around you. he takes care of you the way any good alpha should, he gives you your own space when you need it and gives you so much affection you'll never doubt his adoration.

similar to meliodas, ban knows no limits when it comes to protecting his omega. but unlike meliodas, he's also ready to throw any ounce of morality out of the window. you're the only thing that counts in his life, having you by his side is the only way he could ever feel happiness.

one might think ban is someone so uncaring of anybody's opinion, even his omega's. but despite his looks, this cocky alpha listens to you like you're his reason to live. you could ask him anything and he'll do it without a second thought.

he's so unexpectedly soft with you. he towers over you, so big and strong, his muscles and musky scent appearing intimidating to anyone but you. he speaks in a gentle tone, caressing your skin like it could break at any moment. he just loves you so much it hurts him to even go a day without you.

such a gentle alpha! he wants the best for his omega. he's surprisingly soft and shy for an alpha, so others often don't recognize his second gender.

but despite his first impression, his protective instincts are a dead giveaway. he's insanely stressed about your well being, doubting everything and everyone. he's always making sure you're not hurting yourself, that you're eating enough and sleeping the correct amount of hours.

he would do anything for you as well and you're the only one who can spark such cute reactions out of him. he'll carry you on his pillow, making you fly in the air just to hear you laugh.

the only thing he wants is to smell you and scent you. just thinking about having his own pheromones on his adorable omega makes his heart melt. he's shaking just imagine how perfect you would look if he gave you his clothes, or if he made you your own clothes, watching you laying down on a nest he helped you build. he loves that vulnerable side of you, your undeniable trust in him makes him all soft.

and he hopes you'll always see him as an alpha worthy of your love. he wants to appear harmless to you, to represent a calming presence. staying by your side is his only concern.

ALPHA! GILTHUNDER

he's such a good alpha! you can't expect better for the job than him. he has a strong sense of duty to protect those under his care, his omega coming first.

you're his priority, every needs or wants of yours will be fulfilled by gilthunder.

he has a reassuring confidence, which makes you want to rely on him fully. you know he'll take care of you the best he can, until his death. not one day will you feel neglected or unloved with this man.

his high moral standards come from his noble upbringing, the place he was born makes him a respected alpha you can count on. he's extremely appreciated and by extension, his omega is well taken care of by the rest of the villagers too.

gilthunder is a soldier, that's why his protective instincts are even more present than any other alphas. your safety is his worry number one and he would die if something was to happen to you.

despite his imposing presence on the battlefield, gilthunder is remarkably soft and gentle. his omega is the most precious thing he has, he cherishes you like no one else can. his scent alone is enough to reassure you and put you at ease. he whispers kind words and praises, because in his eyes you're the most perfect being and he wants you to know it.

ALPHA! ESCANOR

he's completely and hopelessly devoted to his omega. in his eyes, you're the most beautiful person to ever walk on earth and he just feels blessed you chose to give him your precious affection.

your words are absolute, and escanor just want to breath the same air as you. but he still is an alpha, and sometimes when you're jeopardizing yourself, whether it's on purpose or not, escanor will have no choice but to ignore your complaints and drive you away from the danger.

he's constantly worried, please give him a break. he's also extremely thoughtful, gifting you things related to your interests. he wants to see you happy, and if he could be the reason behind your smiles, he would cry from the overwhelming joy himself.

now during daytime, escanor is slightly different. while his deep love for you stays the same, he has other ways to show you he cares.

whereas you could mistake escanor as a beta at night, in those moments his alpha status is unquestionable. he's big, strong, tall and arrogant. he has such a surge of dominance, instinctively taking care of situations that demand it.

his protective nature rises by ten times and you can be sure that nothing will ever harm you. he's watchful and alert all of the time, his scary face and intimidating pheromones enough of a warning for whoever wished to mess with you.

still, don't go thinking he's a brute who only sees you as a possession of his. his loyalty, just like the others, is unwavering. he places you before his own needs and shows you great tenderness all the time. he will stop everything he's doing if you asked him. he doesn't take orders from anyone but you!

Seven Deadly Headcanons

Or seven thoughts I have about the Seven Deadly Sins.

Ban has definitely gone Gordon Ramsey on Meliodas at some point for not only his terrible cooking but also because he can't organize a kitchen for shit.

Ban spent several nights reorganizing the Boar Hat's kitchen and has a system for keeping things tidy. Meliodas once messed with this organization system and Ban's response was putting up a sign that said Meliodas was banned from the kitchen. The ban was lifted only when Meliodas put things back in their place. He's banned from cooking but not from being in the kitchen.

Due to his rough circumstances growing up, Ban is very insistent on the Sins getting their three meals a day. He'll even make accommodations or adjustments to dishes to make sure that they can appeal to others. No one is going hungry when Ban's around. Even Gowther - who probably doesn't need to eat due to him being a doll - is not immune from this.

Gowther has a soft spot for romance novels and he and Merlin have a lil' book club where they discuss their current reads. Escanor and Diane joined in eventually.

I feel that most of the Sins would be bilingual multilingual headcanons my beloved . Meliodas, Gowther, and Merlin would know the demon's language. Meliodas would try learning the goddesses' language because of Elizabeth and Merlin would already know it and she'd probably know Welsh. King would know the fairy's language and whatever Liones' vernacular is. And while Ban may not be as fluent in it, he's trying to learn the fairy's language from Elaine and King. And yes, Benwick would be a bilingual kingdom and you can pry that headcanon from my cold, dead hands. Also, Diane would know both Liones vernacular and the giants' language. Actually, King would also know the giants' language. Escanor would know multiple human languages.

Ban was lowkey having the mother of all panics when Elaine was pregnant because he didn't want to mess up as a parent and wanted Lancelot to have a good childhood. So when Lancelot and Jericho disappeared, that time was just really rough for him because emotions are a bitch and he was just constantly blaming himself. If he had done something, then his son wouldn't have disappeared.

During Lancelot's disappearance, Ban developed a tradition of pouring out a bottle of Aberdeen on the night of his son's disappearance. Also, he was kind of forced into more healthy ways of coping because without his immortality, he couldn't fall back into self-harm. And he couldn't drink himself senseless because he had a kingdom to lead as the king of Benwick.

A list of nnt "headcanons" that's actually me just blatantly denying canon bc nakaba is only getting weirder with 4kota so I am revoking his rights

Ban is still immortal. I'll be damned if he ages at human pace while his son, wife, best friend, and teammates outlive him. Also it's just too badass to throw away conceptually

Elizabeth is much more similar to her goddess/Liz personality after her memories/revival

Merlin isn't evil, Arthur isn't evil, neither of them care/know about chaos. Yeah. Straight denial of the main 4kota plotline. Yea.

I just rlly love merlin and I dislike this characterization

Escanor's alive. Bc I like him. He's a good kid. Maybe he and Merlin can be together as a treat for them both

Meliodas and Elizabeth (and Zeldris) were pretty young when they were cursed/sealed and are going to look older in a century or two. They're straight up just babies frozen in time and they'll look older than like 15 soon enough

Elaine too. She can still be short and petite and have short hair but like... just age up her face a bit damn

The sins waited (much) longer to have kids, are actually good parents, and raise their kids together - they overall stay together bc why have found family just to break them apart in the end, that's dumb

This is canon but never utilized but Elizabeth is just powerful as fuck and will use her powers bc she's a bad ass

Ban and Meliodas have fucked. This is not particularly important and is technically canon compliant but like... come on... they're too boyfriend coded to have not fucked in the long years in which both of their loves were dead/a child. They fucked.

Jericho doesn't have a character assassination and settles down with a lesbian lover. Maybe Guila. But is family to Ban. And is def not a p*do with his son. Because what the actual fuck

Howzer (best boy) gets bitches. Maybe Guila. Maybe they're in a throuple. Idk. But I want him to find love

Dreyfus and Hendy (also best boy) are gay. Again, this one feels low key canon compliant. But yeah, they're dating

Tristan is proud of both his demon and goddess heritage, or at least he and Meliodas are on journeys of self acceptance together bc they're bad ass and I love them, especially as demons

Hawk Mama is still a weirdly goated mystery pig. Just kinda chaotic neutral being who just rlly likes being in the ground and having a bar on her back. Also Cath isn't fucking evil. I miss Cath

Okay that's all I can think of for now. But yeah. I am fucking delusional so I truly believe all of these things. They're canon. I'll add more as I think of them

The Seven Deadly Sins if they played Minecraft

I love minecraft. Imagine this is like a modern AU but they also have all their abilities and stuff still.

-They all have a realm together. Meliodas owns it.

-Ban and Meliodas can’t build for shit and have little dirt houses.

-Elaine, Elizabeth and Diane have a cute girl house that they share (they looked up the design on pinterest) and they let them sleep there in exchange for mining goods and loot

-King builds the most extravagant house ever and Diane eventually moves in with him. He has a dog named Oslow

-Merlin knows how to make all of the potions by heart

-She absolutely stole a villager’s house and sleeps there

-I like to imagine Escanor (daytime) would hype his house up so much and be like “This house is the pinnacle of our village” and it just looks like this

-Gowther builds a humble little home. It’s very beautiful but it’s not very spacious. It’s simply good for what he needs. He got a cat called Nadja.

-Gowther is also CEO of farming crops. King is CEO of farming animals (Ban breeds them and kills them for meat when he’s not looking because King finds it cruel)

-Meliodas also has a parrot named Wandle

-Escanor writes poems in books and quills and leaves them signed as “Author Unknown” and leaves them in an item frame on Merlin’s doorstep. She knows it’s him but doesn’t have the heart to tell him she knows.

-Merlin somehow has every single rare mob in the game in little glass cases.

-Gowther doesn’t need to sleep so he stays up all night mining and everyone will wake up and he’ll be like “Hey guys i’ve got 269 diamonds you want some?”

-Merlin forces Orlandi to take over the computer and strip mine for her while she does her real life work and experiments

-They invited Zeldris and he was like “Minecraft? That’s a game for little babies. Call me when you’re playing Fortnite like real men”

-Meliodas and Ban probably fought the wither while everyone else was offline and they just came onto their game to find their village blown up and a beacon in the middle of the wreckage.

-King dies all the time to the most random shit. Lightning strikes, fall damage, baby zombies. Once he tried to prank Ban back by leading a creeper into his dirt hut but in the process the creeper got struck by lightning and became charged and absolutely demolished King.

-Diane can’t build to save her life but she takes designs off Pinterest and then pretends she came up with them all on her own

-Elaine is a god at building. She decorates their whole village with lanterns and cherry blossom petals

-Elizabeth can somewhat build but often needs inspiration

-Ban has a horse he named “Young Sheldon”

-They have a discord server and King is the mod. He has constant power trips. The only one who has admin privileges is Diane.

-Escanor kills every mob he can and puts their drops in item frames on his wall as “Reminders of the ones who couldn’t pass him”

some hcs for the sins as a group pre-banishment

a lot of them didn’t really get along at the start - i think merlin probably found ban really difficult just because of their different (and both quite strong) personalities, i think king and diane never really got along that well with gowther because of the whole memories thing.

meliodas is surprisingly mature in his captaincy - the reason he made the 7th rule was to attempt to overcome these personality clashes. having to deal with the ten commandments, who were probably even more difficult, he had a great grip on activities they could do to get to know each other better. i think meliodas has a good understanding of how a team needs to work in order to get shit done and he leads to the best of his ability

the seven rules that meliodas came up with, while they are good, he was completely drunk when he made them

i think merlin would have been surprisingly immature all things considered. as we know from her past, she grew up quite sheltered and never really got the chance to really develop her personality. despite being incredibly smart i think she’s somewhat socially unaware.

everyone (except meliodas and merlin) assumed gowther was this really buff dude because of the suit of armour. imagine the surprise.

gowther (and sometimes merlin) casually bring up events from 3000 years ago just to stir the pot a bit, and to piss off meliodas to some extent

they totally fought over which sin each of them was going to represent. they don’t talk about them after this because they had a plan to get drunk one night and decide, so gowther could remember what they’d chosen in the morning and erase their memories of the others telling them about what their sins were. of course gowther already knows anyway :)

on that, they are all locked in a room (maybe by zaratras) until they can sort out what sins each of them were going to be. some were obvious, some less so. some were stretches to some extent. meliodas claimed wrath immediately and gave no explanation, everyone kind of just went with it

i completely hc that merlin and ban fought over who was greed and who was gluttony because they’re a similar concept. just,,, screaming at each other, ban threatening to fight,

meliodas got PISSED

they were all pretty on board with the matching tattoos idea bc they thought it would be fun

they came up with their own lore “seven dAnGeRoUs criminals brandished with the mark of the beasts”, and everyone in liones took that a bit too seriously

ban is a little shit - i think this is implied but like yeah

meliodas forced them to go camping together a lot- which prepared them pretty well for when they were actually on the run from the law and had to find food and stuff

as time went on their relations improved pretty drastically… merlin and ban learned to respect each other, meliodas was still a great captain

Dark forest

HQ 3k full artwork + before and after here Wonderfully beautiful prince of the magical kingdom of Metamoor/Meridian. Ruler of monsters, a powerful sorcerer, heir to the throne of Escanor, possessing the power of light, he retires into his dark gardens and forests to create loyal servants from flowers and his blood and flesh, the Murmurers or Whisperers, and then an army from them. And he seized power, since there was a matriarchy in the kingdom. I like his unusual image and character, although he lacks depth and elaboration due to the original format (comics and animated series). But what if we look differently and deeper? He is not as evil as he is portrayed, he does not execute or kill even rebels and opponents of his power, at least he is more merciful than the kings of the Middle Ages. And still, he is a smart ruler, an excellent strategist and politician, he grew up in the palace and knows the rules games, unlike his stupid little sister Elion, who has no control abilities.

Matriarchy in the royal family is explained by the transfer of special magical powers through the female line, but we see that Phobos is still stronger, so much so that he became a threat to all worlds, that he wanted to take over the entire universe and establish his own order. It was because of him that the Veil was created to protect all worlds from Meridian/Phobos. However, this caused damage to the kingdom, they became isolated from all worlds, trade stopped and a crisis began in the country. Phobos originally hoped to break through the Veil and free Meridian, but for this he needs more magical powers, and he draws them from the land of Meridian, sacrificing the fertility of fields and gardens. As far as I remember, he did not want the death of his kingdom, there is a phrase that he says that he needs the power of Elion, otherwise Meridian will come to an end. This means that he is still worried about leaving strength for the country.

I'm leaving out some of the silly bits in the story, as well as some of the plot points that don't make sense, but overall, I like to think along those lines.

Also, it seems to me that his androgynous image is explained by the fact that when he was born, he was raised as a girl in some way (remember Gwyndolin from Dark Souls), since the country was a matriarchy, and the queen thought that he was the only heir. He was taught to be a ruler. And he grew up with this thought until Elion was born, a girl to whom all power would be transferred. And this could greatly hurt his ego, destroy his goals and years of preparation for the throne, and it is understandable. He's not a hero, but he's not the pure evil that people want to make him out to be. He's more in the gray area.

Phobos History and Timeline Headcanons

I love this show, but I felt its timeline and continuity considering Phobos and his history was all over the place. So I wrote this timeline headcanon to hopefully piece some things together.

This is cartoon-verse, but there are some elements from the comics that could have been adapted if the show continued.

Part 1: Youth

⦁ Prince Phobos was born to Queen Wiera and the royal consort Zayden after years of trying for a child. The Escanors have long suffered from infertility, so the prince was a welcomed blessing in their eyes. There was only one drawback, Phobos was a boy, thus could not inherit the throne, and had no magic powers. Moreover, he was sickly. Due to inbreeding, infertility and childhood illness were common in the Escanores. However, female children are blessed with a magic core with a built-in healing factor that keeps them healthy. Because their son did not have this ability, the Escanores resorted to using the mystic waters under the castle to heal their son. Pools of energy that drew power directly from the planet, these waters were only to be used sparingly, when a royal is wounded in battle or anything else that could not be healed with their magic.

⦁ Magic system explanation: Magic is energy, and energy needs a source. The guardians giant their magic power from Aurameres, or external cores. Female Escanors have internal cores, making them a neverending generator of energy, their bodies naturally producing it as if it were blood. The men, along with the rest of the meridian populous, are born with nothing unless power is absorbed. Think of it like cellphones, you need to charge them regularly or they cease function. Phobos was borns magic-less, but attained magic by taking from the mystic waters and other magic users. Instead of draining all the power Elyon had at the moment then killing her, Phobos wanted to turn her into a black rose, a living organism, so he could keep harvesting her power. When he took his mother's power, she was drained from recently giving birth, so she didn't have much to offer, and the rest of the family was not as powerful as she, even the planet was running out of power, so he was desperate to gain an endless power source. However, cores can be siphoned into items or people, like the heart of Meridian, and most hearts originate from a living source (Aside from the heart of Kandrakar, which is more of a beacon for Aurameres), acting as an external core.

⦁ Though he lived a privileged childhood, Phobos had his entire life mapped out for him. He was groomed to be the perfect consort, a seed bearer whose only goal was to breed more powerful women. When it was thought his mother was infertile, he was tasked with producing an heir, or in his mind, producing his own replacement. He was engaged to his cousin Vivian, someone whom he despised greatly.The young Prince wanted more than this, he wanted to prove himself as a brilliant politician, diplomat, and sorcerer. To stand as a powerful and revered figure among the Queens and Duchesses. Yes, some of it was rooted in pride, but the Prince had a deep longing to forge his own destiny.

⦁ Under the cover of night, he bathed in the mystic waters, draining their energy and making it his own. Soon, he realized he was able to drain the energy of others, so he started stealing power from his relatives, little by little, as they slept or when he offered to brush their hair, his power started to grow. When his mother found out, she scolded him for it. He snapped back, saying that is the women of his family could produce infinite power, it shouldn't matter if he took some.

Part 2: Travel

⦁ Phobos looked apon his family history, a history of concouring and colonisation. Inspired, he decided to prove his worth as a royal and diplomat by going out and conquering worlds. The first step was to raise an army, so he turned to Lurdens, who were always treated as second-class citizens by Meridian, and falsely promised to return their native grounds to them if they aided them, as well as offering food and other essential recourses, all to manipulate them. He was also joined by other men who thought they had the right to magic, like Johnathan Ludmoore.

⦁ With the aid of Ludmore, the prince crafted the Seal of Phobos, a pendant with the ability to open portals to other worlds. Thus began his conquest

⦁ Phobos traveled from world to world, forging alliances with their inhabitants, setting up colonies and taking recourses. Many acquaintances, hungry for power, joined him on his journey. At some point in his travels, he reached Ophioûkhos, a kingdom of servants. That’s where he met Cedric, a high-ranking general of Typhon and Echidna.

⦁ Cedric’s culture was one of barbarism, but he craved knowledge. From Phobos and his men, he obtained literacy, expanding his intellect far above that of his kind. Wanting more, he joined Phobos as a delegate. With Cedric's considerable strength, Phobos could use his power more sparingly.

⦁ Phobos, preferring the company of men, entered a carnal relationship with Cedric. Having been raised to be celibate until marrying, this relationship came as a welcome relief to the prince.

⦁ With Phobos becoming a menace for multiple worlds, Kandrakar called on the guardians (C.H.Y.K.N) to protect the metaverse. For decades, Phobos and his allies fought against the guardians, growing weaker with each passing year as his magic began to drain. During this time, he had Ludmore create the 12 portals to send obstacles their way. Ultimately, Phobos was temporarily defeated in a battle that left him nearly drained and Ludmore sealed in a book.

Part 3: Conquer

⦁ Narrissas betrayal happened shortly after, Phobo's defeat. Thus, after the current guardians were disbanded, Phobos was free to start over. A little magic was all one needed to absorb more, so he slowly started taking.

⦁ First, he seduced his old fiance, Viviane, who never truly got over him, and drained her of her power, turning her into a black rose, then had one of his shapeshifting court members take her place. They did the same to her father, and apparently, overnight, Viviane and Reginald swore their loyalty to Phobos. Thus began the massacre of the Escanors.

⦁ One by one, his relatives fell and were added to his garden, while shapeshifters took their place. All forfeited their right to the throne, leaving Phobos the only possible heir. However, his mother revealed, to everyone's shock, she was pregnant, and thus, if the child is a girl, the throne shall go to her.

⦁ Initially enrages, Phobos instead chose to bite his time until the child was born. His mother outmatched him, power-wise, so he waited until she was weak, exhausted from the birth of her child, and took her out, absorbing the little power she had left and also doing away with his father, adding them both to his garden. Even though they were ended by his hand, Phobos still wept for his parents.

⦁ Unable to absorb his mother's full strength, Phobos instead planned to keep his baby sister alive until her powers reached their peak. Needless to say, things did not go as planned.

What would be the favorite dog breeds of the seven deadly sins plus Elizabeth?

Meliodas- He really likes golden retrievers and border collies.

Diane- She really likes pomeranians! She finds them so cute, fluffy, and adorable!

Ban- Honestly? He doesn’t have much of an opinion on breeds. If he had to choose he’d probably say papillon.

King- St. Bernards. He likes how gentle and loving they are, plus they are typically easy to train.

Gowther- Another with not much preference on breeds. He likes naturally calm dogs though. Prefers to hang out with animals for a little before buying them.

Merlin- Who needs a dog when you got Arthur. Pitbulls. She finds them seriously misunderstood and has 100% trained them for people to watch over their small kids.

Escanor- Labrador Retrievers hold a special place in his heart.

Elizabeth- No preference on breeds. The type to go to animal shelters and ask for the oldest animal, the animal no one wants, or the one that’s been there the longest.

Arthur Pendragon of Camelot (7Deadly Sins) Head Canons

This is my first attempt at writing headcanons. I've recently been rewatching the anime Seven Deadly Sins and have grown fond of King Arthur. After giving his character some thought this is what I came up with.

Has a strong passion for adventure. Likes to travel and find new discoveries.

Although he is very skilled with the sword and receives praise for it. He sometimes has doubts in his abilities and doesn't think he's all that great because he's yet to awaken his true potential.

Appreciates Merlin for her guidance, training, and staying by his side. Sometimes he wishes she'd let him have some space. He knows that she means well and is only looking out for his well being; but he wants the opportunity to be able to prove himself all on his own.

Looks up to Merlin for her wisdom, strength, feats, battle strategies, and abilities.

Cringes whenever others get the wrong idea about his relationship with Merlin. He has acknowledged her beauty and wit; however he just can't come to view her in a romantic or intimate light. It's simply because she's the only person he's ever had close to a maternal figure.

Has had a few moments where he almost had a slip of the tongue calling Merlin his Mother.

Is unaware of Escanor's jealousy towards him. Has tried to make small talk with him before but failed. When he finally got a break through he found delight in conversation and was given new combat tips.

He actually looks up to the Lion Sin in ways similar to how he looks up to Merlin.

Enjoys hearing Escanor recite his poetry during the evening time when ever the sins gather for drinks and food.

Secretly ships Merlin with Escanor. He has never seen her involved with any one before. However after seeing how fond the Lion Sin is of her, Arthur began to root for the tall, burly man in hopes that he'd win the Boar Sin over. If he wanted to see his mentor happy with anyone it would be Escanor.

Has nightmares about Cath from time to time. He's too proud to tell Merlin and sometimes has trouble going back to sleep when ever he has one.

Will get triggered when seeing a domestic cat walking towards him or within his vision in general. He's aware that their harmless, but the very sight of one reminds him of how Cath resembled an innocent animal and then transformed into a vicious bloodthirsty creature.

As much as i love villains who excise their evil with unashamed agency, I can't help but think Phobos was possessed. Like there's so much unanswered about his backstory and what became of his & elyon's parents. Moreso in the comics where he had any pictures & visages of him destroyed and isolated himself in his garden.

I think what happened is Phobos made a deal with a very dark force. The darkness can help him steal the throne in exchange for life energy which was why Phobos drained the planet. But in order to keep the throne he had to seek out more planets or else the deal would be broken. It also may be possible he allowed this supernatural darkness to control him, but it left some pretty physical damage that made Phobos retreat so people wouldn't look at his true form. He bathes a lot to soak up the magic to keep the darkness from totally ruining his body.

Perhaps Weira and Zayden knew this darkness and sacrificed themselves to keep it at bay. Maybe they're above a plane of existence? Who knows! But it can explain a bit how Phobos acquired so much power to overthrow someone stronger than him (and could make an interesting story on its own)

Escanors even in the TV series adaptation aged slower or perhaps stopped aging once they reached certain age. In episode “P is for Protectors“ it was mentioned that c.h.y.k.n fought against Phobos.

I wonder how many years has passed? Let’s take extra 20-30 years.

I think my brain will melt a bit, because Phobos came to power as Elyon was stolen. Thus it’s just usual inconsistency.

Headcanon:

Meliodas does not go to any fighting festivals anymore because he is hecking traumatize about the last vaizel festival. Cuz the last festival he was killed! So everytime people ask him or the sins to go to a fighting festival with them, he will zoned out and think of what happened that day before refusing the offer.

Meliodas

"don't worry,i can take care of him/her"

He would be good at that,although being clumsy(not in the same way as Elizabeth).Meliodas is playful and assertive,not demonstrating being stressed out when the baby is crying,for example

The baby is tired and complain,and Hawk is doubting if Meliodas is irresponsible for that

Hawk:this is a harsh thing I can't imagine a person like you doing

Elizabeth:Don't worry Hawk,Sir Meliodas is doing his better for that

Meliodas:Elizabeth is right,I'm doing well,right baby?Oh hey,little one,let's play a game that i know! *Puts the fussy baby in the crib,proceeds to wiggles the little baby's toes,causing him/her to giggles*

Meliodas:This little piggy went to market,this little piggy stayed at home,this little piggy had roasted beef,this little piggy had none *more baby giggles*

Elizabeth:aww,see?You're doing great,Sir Meliodas

Hawk:wait....THAT'S WAS A HINT FOR ME ?!

Meliodas to the baby:This little piggy turned into roasted beef,ni shi shi

Elizabeth:Oh my goodness

Meliodas is not the best at making food,but i have doubts if can make well the baby bottle.He actually asks Ban for this(then Ban questiones his babysitting habillities),he feeds the baby with a spoon as plays that "its a dragon going to the cave"

"Open up,here comes the dragon"

*Happy baby noises*

Probably change nappies very well,on this moment he plays and talks with the baby while cleaning.Would know a little how to deal with baby grossness(sometimes with his entitled poker face,but inside is grossed out,but doesn't want to demonstrate it),thankfully Elizabeth is there to help

Meliodas:eww,kid!*laughs a little*

Baby:*random baby noises*

Elizabeth:I'm here if you need help,Sir Meliodas

Meliodas is good partner to play.Likes to build blocks and upsy daisy,its so much entertainment for a child.He would put the baby on Hawk,and tell him to play horse(he also rides on hawk and tell him to play horse,and hawk is not happy with that,he still wonders why Meliodas is babysitting,all the sins but Elizabeth are wondering)

Ban:i though only me could do that to master

Hawk:you will pay me for this

Baby: :D

As the baby is asleep,Meliodas just rock him/her and starts to have a conversation to make him/her relax.If does not work,he ask King to put the baby on the chastiefol or ask Elizabeth to help him,but,if does not work also,he and probably the sins+Elizabeth and Hawk are doomed.Finally,baby slept,and Meliodas just says "that was easy" with a smile on his face.It was not,but he's relieved that the things worked well

Bonus:

Meliodas,in the middle of it all,gets distracted and loses sight of the baby,he gets desperate,because, obviously the sins will whoop his ass,he only asks Ban for help,that also was freaked out "captain,your dumbass!" He said,half impressed by his captain's sluggishness.The time passes,and eventually they didn't find him/her,and worse,the rest of the sins + plus Elizabeth and hawk,and anyway,everyone whoop him out.Ends up that the baby was the wardbore,but that was locked,how he ended up there,they don't know,but they are relieved that the baby was safe.Meliodas wonders if he still will get to babysitt again

Idk what this is i can’t lie

Meliodas

-Firm hugger. Very tight squeeze

-Hugs his friends if he knows they need it “Bring it in big guy”

-Will hug in public but loves to proper snuggle in private

-If someone he doesn’t know hugs him he’ll just stand there pokerfaced

-He’s very warm being a demon with fire abilities so he’s nice to lay on

-Always initiates group hugs between all the sins

-Only gropes when other people are around as a territorial thing. When he’s alone he will go all soppy.

Diane

-SHE IS SO CUDDLY

-Publicly, privately she is not afraid to snuggle!!!

-She hugs everyone while greeting them. She also loves to kiss everyone on the cheeks platonically.

-When she is big she likes to put smaller people on her neck or shoulder and let them koala onto her, or hold them to her face so they can cup it.

-She also loves holding people in her big hands

-When she’s small she loves to still use her giant strength to pick people up and twirl them.

-She hugs King a lot because he’s so small and smells so fruity

Ban

-Not a hugger in public but in private?

-He will be the little spoon but not if you ask him to. Only if you “coincidentally fall into that position” while hugging. He won’t admit he likes it either

-He loves having his hair stroked or stroking other people’s hair

-He hugs Meliodas all the time when drunk but coincidentally forgets it when he sobers up.

-If you run up to him and hug him he’ll probably pat your head or back

-Before Elaine was revived he would hug a pillow and pretend it was her

King

-Denies being a hugger but he LOVES THEM

-He’s very awkward and doesn’t know what to do if he’s being hugged. Like where does he put his hands?

-It also depends on how close he is to the person hugging him. If he knows them very well he’s very confident on what to do but if he’s not well acquainted with them he’ll be apprehensive

-Imagining Diane forcing him to hug Howzer. The most awkward bro hug ever.

-He is very soft and warm and his clothes always smell very fresh.

-May revert to old man form and repel whoever is hugging him.

Gowther

-Pre getting his memories and emotions he’s very uncomfortable to cuddle. He doesn’t know when to let go and can’t naturally figure out what to do with himself

-He will pat your head and go “pat pat” and simply wrap his arms around you in a way that either is too light to be a good hug or too firm that you nearly die from lack of oxygen

-When he does get his emotions back though he is SUCH A HUGGER

-He’s not particularly comfy to lay on and snuggle but that look on his face makes it worth enduring

-He will hug EVERYONE if he is feeling excited!!! A little ball of energy

-He still doesn’t quite understand the appropriate times to hug someone and the intensity it should be so he’ll just be like “HAI BAN GOOD MORNING :3” and rugby tackle him into a cuddle thinking it was a normal human greeting

Merlin

-Doesn’t necessarily hate hugging just doesn’t do it frequently

-She hugs more out of comfort more than simply because she can

-If she needs comforting she’ll stand outside Meliodas and Elizabeth’s room in the doorframe like the “mum i just threw up” meme and wait for Elizabeth to initiate the hug

-She does privately like a good hug. Sometimes she’ll get somebody (probably Escanor) to come into her lab and let her sit in his lap while she does her research “for science”

-Probably conjures up a tamed demonic beast to cuddle on the down low so that nobody sees her vulnerable

Escanor

-Once again an awkward man. He doesn’t quite know what to do with himself

-Although he is less awkward than King because hugging is a human custom he grew up with whereas King just sort of found out it was a thing one day

-He does love cuddling but he has to be close to the people/person doing it otherwise he gets quite flustered

-Definitely cuddles a pillow at night to help him fall asleep

-Probably very touch starved.

Elizabeth

-Loves cuddling other girls. With boys it feels awkward to her but girls? Just feels natural

-She doesn’t even flinch when Meliodas gropes her mid hug anymore because she just expects it, although she hates it and wishes she could have just one moment of intimacy with him which doesn’t get sexual

-She does like to hug Gowther too though. She just finds him very sweet once he got his emotions back and sees him like a little boy.

-She’s very motherly towards her friends and as soon as she sees them struggling she cuddles them and gets the whatever they need

-Hugs are just very natural to her (because unlike everyone else she has Bartra and was loved as a child oop-)

Elaine

-Doesn’t quite understand the human hype of cuddling

-Thinks it’s something between family and lovers and that’s all

-When someone else cuddles her that’s not Ban or King she gets confused but will put a hand on their back and comfort them anyway

-She does love hugging animals though. She’ll hug Hawk and Oslow a lot and will pick up random cats she sees in the streets (much to the cats dismay)

-She loves hugging Ban because he’s so much larger than her and she loves being Engulfed by Large Man
