how is someone aro and ace able to also be a lesbian? if they dont want to date or sleep with women, why label herself a lesbian instead of just ace?

A few different ways:

aro and ace, while specific terms, are also umbrella labels. so one may still experience romantic or sexual attraction but use aro and ace as umbrella terms, so they label what the sexual and romantic attraction they do have while also still labeling as aro and ace

for those that don't experience romantic or sexual attraction, they may label themselves based on the attractions they do experience. there are attractions other than romantic or sexual, like platonic, familial, aesthetic, sensual, alterous, queerplatonic, and more.

for some, they may not experience attraction but are open to romantic or sexual relationships and label their attraction based on the genders they would be open to entering a relationship with

is bullying, abusing and chasing aromantic and asexual people out of the community actually helping anyone? is it helping trans people get binders or breastforms, or find surgeons, or connect with other trans people? is it helping mspec people figure out that being attracted to multiple genders is normal and okay? is it helping lesbians and gays find each other? is it helping intersex people learn more about their conditions?

it's not. it's not helping anyone else get the resources, support and help they need. all it's doing is denying a huge chunk of the community their right to have the same things we have and want. it's not helping a single soul. it's not making it easier for anyone else to get what they need by removing these groups of people, because as queers, we all have different needs. we are here to help each other. the point of community is to help.

if you refuse to help one or two specific types of members of your own community, you are prejudiced and you are the one being disruptive to the unity and functionality of the queer community. you are the one causing problems- not the aromantics, asexuals and other aspectrum people.

ohh yess good question. and there are actually multiple answers.

so the definition of aroace is little to no romantic or sexual attraction. so you can be bi with that little attraction.

there are also a label oriented aroace which is where someone doesnt experience ANY romantic or sexual attraction but experiences other attraction that is significant enough to label. so you can label yourself as bi oriented, lesbian oriented, gay oriented, pan oriented, etc.

aroace is an umbrella term for anyone under the spectrum of aroace. so demiromantic/demisexual, grayromantic/graysexual, etc. if you fall under the spectrum of aroace you can use the label aroace. (only if u are on both spectrums though!) so you can be bi and demiromantic/demisexual, etc
