Supernatural Netflix Viewing Numbers - Jan. 2023 - Jun. 2023

Thanks to anon on this ask, I was able to download Netflix' report with viewing hours from Jan. 2023 to June 2023. I thought I'd run some numbers for Supernatural.

Now, obviously, with these numbers, there are caveats in that we don't know if certain episodes are watched more than others, so the best I can do is an average of views per episode in a season. Some episodes in the same season may get fewer views while others get more (this is the only way it makes sense to me why Season 15 is watched more than Season 14, lol!)

Based on the math below the cut, here are the rankings of most-watched Supernatural seasons (# = average views per episode):

Season 3: 65,421

Season 1: 61,822

Season 2: 49,614

Season 4: 47,794

Season 5: 45,253

Season 6: 41,633

Season 7: 36,681

Season 8: 35,054

Season 9: 32,744

Season 10: 31,909

As you can see, Seasons 1-5 are expectedly at the top, with 1-3 taking the top three,

People can draw their own conclusions, but for me, it just proves that the general public watch Supernatural for Sam and Dean, and anyone planning a reboot, looking at these numbers, should know exactly what to put back on our screens.

Now, I'm no math major (I actually got a D- in math in 7th grade), so if I'm doing something wrong, someone please correct me! But, I believe by dividing the total number of minutes viewed by the total number of minutes in the season, we can calculate the number of separate views per season. Then, if you divide the views by episode count, you can get a decent average of how many people watched each episode in the first 6 months of this year.

Season 1; 22 episodes:

1.254 billion minutes/922 minutes = 1,360,087 views/22 = 61,822 avg. views per episode.

Season 2; 22 episodes:

978 million minutes/896 minutes = 1,091,518 views/22 = 49,614 avg. views per episode

Season 3; 16 episodes:

672 million minutes/642 minutes = 1,046,729 views/16 = 65,421 avg. views per episode

Season 4; 22 episodes:

960 million minutes/913 minutes = 1,051,479/22 = 47,794 avg. views per episode

Season 5; 22 episodes:

900 million minutes/904 minutes = 995,575/22 = 45,253 avg. views per episode

Season 6; 22 episodes:

828 million minutes/904 minutes = 915,929/22 = 41,633 avg. views per episode

Y/n sat beside Harry as Tom exchanged autographs with Son Heung-min. She watched as Tom paused, looking beside him and then frowning slightly. Before she could ask him what was wrong , his eyes met hers.

Tom’s frown softened into a pout. “Love, come ‘ere,” he requested, shifting on the couch so there was more room for y/n. He smiled as she sat beside him. He kissed her cheek before turning to Son Heung-Min.. “This is my girlfriend , y/n,” Tom said proudly.

Y/n closed her eyes peacefully as she rested her head on Tom’s shoulder as they sat in the van on the way to the next press event. She felt his lips press tenderly against the top of her head. She hummed as he quietly asked if she was doing okay. She smiled as his arm around her waist tightened lovingly.

Tom took advantage of y/n’s restful state. He slyly nudged Harry and looked over at y/n. When his brother nodded and took his phone out to take a picture for him, Tom smiled and mouthed thank you. Harry grinned But teasingly shook his head. Tom knew he was probably being a bit much, but he just so proud that she’s with him.

Tom watched from the side as y/n chatted with some of the crew backstage at his latest press event. He’d made sure to introduce her to as many people as he could. He couldn’t help but want to show her off. But he also hoped that pointing out her hard work and skill at y/f/h would help her lock down a job she enjoyed here in London. Because he can’t imagine her having to go back to the us. Mostly as she doesn’t want to, she mentioned this herself several times after arriving and getting comfortable with some of the cultural differences. So for her sake he didn’t want for her to have to leave. But truthfully he also didn’t want her to leave simply because he selfishly wanted her to stay for his own sake as well. Lucky for him, it seemed like y/n had picked up on networking early on in the press tour. Tom smiled to himself knowing it should help her land a job she’d enjoy that would also let her stay here.

However, when she found out that he have had another relationship resulting in a son during those years, she instantly flipped, having their most severe argument, where Luxia broke things off and vowed to never be alone with him in a room. After Hogwarts was founded, they mended things and even supported Godric’s relationship with Rowena, whom she had a deep respect. Luxia went to found her own family, which still prevails today.

Evander joined Godric’s forces soon enough, given the brewing war happening. Luxia, as Godric’s second in command (and after ensuring she was not bearing his child just in case) trained the best promises, and Evander was among them.

The two of them had a special emotional connection, and although Luxia was prickly and reserved at first, something about Evander made her open up and give love a second chance. They spent what was considered as a long engagement before marrying after Luxia was sure she was making the right choice this time. They had three children together: Kenna, Kemina and Leonidas. Their line would result in the Thorne family through their son Leonidas.

Luxia and Ashleigh both had goals in common and bonded over many hobbies of the time.

Abstract -

During the summer of 1972 William Burroughs, author of Naked Lunch (1959), began an "operation" against the Moka Bar, a Soho coffee shop. He made recordings and took photographs of the premises at 29 Frith Street before intercutting the tapes with noise from other locations. Burroughs then returned to Frith Street for play- back in situ whilst he took more photographs. After repeating the exercise Burroughs claimed that the Moka Bar lost trade and finally closed down on October 30th, 1972. First documented in 'Playback from Eden to Watergate' (1973), this episode has become a favourite of biographers and those who present Burroughs as a countercultural 'guerrilla'. Speculative manipulation of the symbolic word seems to precede the efficacy of a materialized engagement with indexical recordings and iconic photographs. In contrast, my argument reads the interaction of image and sound in the Moka Bar operation as exemplifying a wider theory of recording that integrates the specific material zones of text, tape and photograph.

(964) I don't care that some of the voice cast changed, its a good solution and it gives light to others and it honestly sounds okay they are doing a good job and It doesn't make me hate the characters now and I honestly enjoyed this show the further along I got yeah I think newer Simpsons is better, some hit or miss episodes sure but they always had those but when the episode shines it fuckin shines so hard. This stupid yellow ass family is so lovable. My favorites are Lisa and Maggie but man Marge and Homer and Bart really go hard sometimes.

early seasons sam is just that bit spoiled and i think that is just a feat in itself on dean's behalf. he managed to raise a kid in a motel room off of macaroni cheese and second hand clothes but he sacrificed enough that sam still grew to be spoiled and petty. that s1 dynamic where sam has absolutely no clue about any of the shit dean went through is actually so so important because it shows just how stupidly good dean was at putting on a front of normality and protecting his brother. not only has dean been performing his whole life he's been performing parenthood his whole life and it was a success. dean's performances didn't start as self protection they started in the same way a mother performs to their child that everything is okay as the world falls to pieces around them. as s12 says, it's not fair and dean can't do it, but sam's spoiled s1 nature is a sign of how successful dean actually was

The voice director for the dub, Emily Fajardo, confirmed a handful of roles from the new dub batch! Episodes 953-964.

Young Izo is voiced by Kelsey Maher. Him as a teen is voiced by Jessie James Grelle, same as adult Izo.

Young Kiku is voiced by Bryn Apprill, Who in One Piece, also voices Shirahoshi, and the girl in Film Gold, Tempo. While Kiku as a teen is voiced by Kayleigh, same as her as an adult.

Denjiro and Hiyori have their same VA’s as both kids and adults, Chris Wehkamp and Molly Searcy.

I don’t know jackshit about fairies or the fae, BUT-

I like to think that the Fae can die, the reason they don’t is that no psychopomp, Death Deity or afterlife wants to mess with them, so they just keep living.

I found hilarious everyone being like "You know what? fuck this, the living can deal with it I will not have them here"

Honestly considering Hunter has been so isolated all his life, and he basically didn’t have a chance to interact with people his age (or see a lot of anything that wasn’t related to books or whatever Belos was teaching him) I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if having feelings for Willow is something that takes him a moment ot process because 1) He never had friends before 2) He hasn’t had a crush before.

Cue to Luz (aka someone who has been a romantic all her life) and decides to explain EVERYTHING about romance to Hunter.

He ends ups very flustered and mildly traumatized.

I may be the last person to realize this but-

Luz’s little fanfic as Luzura (including a doddle of her with Amity being like ‘wow‘) was written on Amity’s diary, this means now she can open her diary and see Luz’s little drawing, including the fact that she wanted to impress Amity.

I am not sure if someone mentioned this before but, is Luz’s reaction on Reaching Out because people made her feel she should be over her dad’s dead?

I remember when I watched that episode that I related to the way Luz was behaving while talking about the death of her dad, but it wasn’t until recently that I realized why I related to that behaviour.

I am not going to go into my private life, but; did anyone (classmates, friends, maybe even a teacher) told Luz that she shouldn’t feel sad anymore?

Because the way she is reacting and how she was phrasing stuff makes me think that people either told her to not be sad about that.

And holy shit doesn’t that made really shows how fucked up things were for her back in her school.
