i don't care that these are from shippudden filler flashbacks- i love this for them
the fact that Lee not only let Gaara touch the arm he crushed, but Gaara actually helped Lee walk all the way back to the village. At the time of this happening, that's the most Gaara had ever touched another person without hurting them. 🥲
we love the show of trust.

Trigger warning: Discussions of rape
Smiffina Episodes - Episodes 260
After telling Smithy about Kerry's rape at the hands of Gabriel, Andrea is forced to work with Gabriel on an incident of road rage. The van involved belongs to Jimmy Cross, a major Sun Hill villain.
Smithy has the wobbles a little about what to believe, after all, all they know for certain is that Gabriel made Kerry pregnant as proven by a DNA test. Andrea admits that it could have been a one night stand - which sounds weird considering she was so adamant that it was rape right before it. Smithy takes the chance to follow up on Jimmy Cross with Gabriel to do some research of his own.
At the warehouse where they suspect some - at least dodgy if not stolen - vodka is being stored, Smithy stops Gabriel from breaking open the door and instead insists that they're patient and wait for the brother/owner to appear as - now they've visited Jimmy - it won't take long for them to arrive to move the vodka. Smithy takes the chance to speak to Gabriel as though he believes the story, sympathising that the sitting around will probably be the last thing he needs as it's keeping busy that keeps his mind off what has happened. Smithy tells him that Kerry's dad is in the station that day to collect her belongings. Gabriel says he probably should have done it for him, after all, "Kerry was always saying I should pop round for a cup of tea with him... it's one of those things you always put off, isn't it." He tells Smithy that he will speak to him soon about a memorial for Kerry, saying she deserves better than a bog standard plaque. "I'll never forget her, I don't think anyone else should too." "And you think that's likely do you?" Smithy starts - however Jimmy arrives before he can continue. Gabriel tastes the vodka once they're inside and says it tastes nothing like the expensive brand it's supposed to be. Smithy suspects he's been knocking out rip off vodka as the real thing and is getting 'complaints' - like being run off the road that morning. They can't prove - there and then at least - that he bought it illegally or is doing anything dodgy... but they'll be keeping an eye. As will Customs.
Gina checks in with Smithy when the two return to the station, letting him know that Kerry's dad is waiting in the front office to have a word with him. As Smithy gets there, he finds Gabriel already inside talking to him. Mr Young is clearly confused as Gabriel leaves, telling Smithy that Kerry had never mentioned him. Smithy on the other hand, from what Kerry had told her dad, he thought they were close to going out and very good friends. Kerry had told her dad lots about Smithy and that she had a lot of time and respect for him and that he was her knight in shinninga armour. All the time this is being said, Gabriel is waiting just outside the door listening in. As they leave again, Gabriel claims he was going to propose to Kerry, not wanting their child to grow up out of wedlock. And, he claims, Smithy would have been the best man. He continues going on about how Kerry and he would have been perfect together and, unable to hear anymore - Smithy gets in the car. Gabriel smirks over the top of it now he can't be seen - revelling in rubbing his nose in it.
At the station it appears that there's a link to the Radford Family via the late Wayne Radford as Jimmy had been mouthing off about having one over on him - David wouldn't let that go unpunished... is it enough to go after the Radford's? Especially after everything else lately? Smithy goes to 'have a word' and is very polite language wise. Face, tone and intimidating stare? Not so much.
Gina tells him to write it up and to hand it to CID and not to work with Gabriel again. Smithy tries to protest but she fears that it could turn into a Radford Vs Cross family turfwar and does not want Smithy involved. She also does not want him near Gabriel at the moment because he gets too much under his skin.
In the canteen, Gabriel is repeating what Kerry's father said - only not the things he said to him , but what he said to Smithy - making out as though it's about him. On the other side of the pillar, Smithy can hear every word....
Smithy storms out, just in time to meet Andrea. He tells her that - for a moment - he almost had him going that he didn't know Kerry as well as he thought/that they were in love... but now he's either lying or "completely round the bend." - Smithy's heard enough. He believes what Andrea said to be true - Gabriel raped Kerry and he's going to make sure the allegation is made official.
