this year's mma and mama were mid af, seventeen really saved it from flopping. my favourite performance was def boynextdoor, their charisma was great and they performed so well for rookies. txt, enhypen, svt, and lsfm all gave great performances. i loved gidle's performance as well, but it felt kind of uncomfortable becuase the crowd was NOT doing ANYTHING for the girls like where are the screams? where are the interactions? where are the cheers? the girls popped off but i was sort of mad at the crowd.

congratulations to ive and seventeen for winning album of the year! svt waited eight long years to get this award and im very happy for them. seungkwan's speech made me cry, esp how he brought up moonbin and thanked him for his support 😭

i wished groups like itzy, bts, skz, and twice had performed. also, mama needs better camera people bc i could not tell what tf was happening half the time.

hybe groups were literally going crazy in their mma performances omg... if they show up to perform, they will PERFORM!!!!

I can usually count on STAYC to sing live. I like that they kept the dance break short-ish, and that I didn't see the dance break at the end coming at all. Kudos for having the element of surprise. There's something satisfying about their dancing. They're not the best but they put their backs into it. Their moves are powerful, sharp, clean, and their choreographer doesn't make them look bad. Le Sserafim are better dancers and Hybe has a lot more money than High Up, but Le Sserafim's dance breaks were a bit underwhelming (and also overwhelming in amount) while STAYC's were satisfying enough. I always say this, but STAYC never look like they're trying too hard with their choreos and they focus more on executing it efficiently - cleanly and with energy. Other groups are trying to impress, but STAYC is just trying to enhance the performance a bit - the main focus is still the music and the live singing (even if you couldn't hear them 100%). I just feel more comfortable watching STAYC than a group like Enhypen who always put on a huge show but I find it boring.

Enhypen are great dancers and get exhausting dance breaks, but they're not that satisfying to watch? Their dance breaks are always somewhat similar and all about power and visuals, but they're not interesting or tell a story. It's also hard to notice much because too much is happening at once...
