[ 10:30 AM ] “hey, y/n?” you look up from the book you were reading and rushed towards the bathroom. jungwon sits in front of your mirror, softly scratching his hair with a towel.

“i couldn’t find the hair dryer.” he softly mumbles while looking at you in desperation. jungwon doesn’t like to admit it, but he has a habit of staying in front of the mirror for too long just doing his hair. he got it straightened and you thought it’s probably the new hairstyle that got him quite vain in the bathroom lately.

you fumble through the drawers of your bedside table and came back with the boy’s lifesaver, as what he would sometimes call it. jungwon lets out a deep sigh of relief.

“next time, let me do this for you, okay?” a small smile slowly forms on his lips with his dimples gradually showing from the little act of service you gave him. “i like this.” you hummed in question. “you playing with my hair. it feels nice, i like it.” you playfully scoffed in response and shrug your shoulders.

it’s the little things that makes jungwon’s heart flutter the most and you’re happy he’s enjoying the little gesture. “you’re welcome.” you muttered under your breath to which jungwon let out a sudden giggle and a soft “i love you, too.”

LATE NIGHT ADVENTURES- Y.JW

!teaching Jungwon how to skateboard.

pairing- Jungwon x gn!reader

Jungwon was holding the skateboard that his friends got him for his birthday tightly against his chest. If he had never ridden a skateboard before, why did his friends get him such a gift? It was because of you. He always sees you riding it past his house, while jamming to your favourite songs that are blasting in your earphones.

Jungwon's friends knew his small crush on you and saw this as a perfect opportunity for him to finally make a move.

Days later Jungwon approached you and asked you if you want to go skateboarding with him, to which you agreed.

It was a late evening and the park was quiet. No one was around. It was just the both of you.

“How many times do I have to tell you, stop trying to do all these complicated tricks if you don't know how to even ride properly, ” you said while staring at Jungwon that was laying on the ground once again.

He really wanted to impress you with his skateboarding skills but failed, since he only has had his skateboard for a week.

“I just wanted to show off, ” Jungwon giggled while getting up from the ground. Seeing your concerned face made him giggle even more. You were so cute acting all worried about him.

“I mean, at least it looked funny?“ Jungwon giggled once again while running towards his skateboard, which was now laying far away from both of you because of his previous fall.

“No? You could’ve hurt yourself so badly! Do you want to end up in the hospital or what?” crossing both of your arms you went after him.

“It will not happen if you hold my hands“ Jungwon gave you an innocent smile and put the skateboard on the ground. He got on it and put his hand in front of you, for you to hold it.

You stared at him for a minute and then locked your hands with his: “Okay, it's better than you falling on the ground all the time”

It was going great. Jungwon was riding slowly while being a blushing mess, but at least you didn't see it. You were focused on looking at Jungwon's feet to see if he’s balancing himself correctly on the skateboard.

Jungwon suddenly lost his balance and things happened too fast. He fell and accidentally pulled you with him. Now you both were on the ground, with Jungwon on top of you and your faces inches apart from each other.

Jungwon didn't know what to do. What didn’t help is that his hands somehow ended up on your waist making him blush even more.

“Has anybody ever told you that you're really cute” finally getting the courage to open his eyes he said while staring into yours.

“Uh, yes, but from you it sounds different, ” you said and he moved up from your uncomfortable position, finally understanding what had just happened.

Your lips left a small giggle seeing him trying to avoid your eye contact. He was so cute. You got up from the ground and brushed off the dirt off of your clothes.

Jungwon was staring at you, making sure you weren’t hurt from the fall.

“I think it’s enough for today, Jungwon, since it’s late already. I will head home” you said and Jungwon panicked a little, thinking that all of this had ruined his chances with you.

“So let's meet tomorrow? At the same time?” you asked while flashing a smile toward him.

Jungwon let out a big sigh in his head and awkwardly scratched the back of his head: “Sure!”

You started to walk away while waving to him. He responded by smiling at you and waving back.

Walking home his big smile never left his lips, thinking about how you’re going to meet again tomorrow.

Enhypen as your Best Friend: Jungwon Edition

✨The voice of reason✨ no kidding, whether it is you needing an objective opinion, an advice, need your priorities sorted, or actually needing some sense to be knocked into your head -- he's your go-to, boi is always capable of delivering unfiltered and honest yet realistic and rational advice that will definitely be for your own good. Though if you don't heed it, best believe he'd taunt you with endless, "I told you so".

Disciplined, diligent and upright -- he's basically the kid that every teacher loves, every parents want, and fellow students hate. Just kidding, he's got the social skills to boot so he's popular amongst the students as well. In other words, you can basically count on him when it comes to keeping yourself on track and disciplined because just watching his work ethics will make you rethink your life choices and lifestyle.

He may not be the sweetest nor mushiest person but his appreciation and love for you BLEEDS through his actions. He'll stay longer at the library just so that he can walk you home safely; he has an extra umbrella in his locker in case you forget yours; there is always a fully-charged power bank in his bag since your phone always run out of battery; he carries gaviscon in his bag, not because he usually gets gastroentitis, but because you usually get them if you don't eat on time; he carries an extra pair of gloves in his backpack just for you; and the list just goes on.

Sometimes is a cutiepie; sometimes is manly; and sometimes is a prick -- he's so unpredictable and hard to pin down. One second he looks like a lost cat trying to figure out how to fix his keychain or a math problem; the next he's yeeting someone across the mat with his Taekwando moves; then he'll be reminding you of that one time you embarrass yourself infront of your crush and then the next thing you know he has been waiting for you outside of your class/part-time job to walk you home, his face melting into glee the moment he saw you coming out of the building as if he had not just waited one whole hour for you.

You guys would often have movie nights! except all he recommends are romance. Whenever romantic scenes come up though, his hands would cover your eyes up, "whoops, gotta protect a baby from such scenes".

Dependable af. Like I said, boi looks so soft and qtp2tie but beneath those large cat eyes and dimpled smile -- he's quite strong, not that he ever tried to show you even a fraction of it though (unlike *coughs* Sunghoon or Jay *coughs*). One time you guys were fighting over the remote control -- it didn't even last a second because he had flipped you over on your back so effortlessly, you thought you were going to be yeeted across the room if you don't relent. Boi is a sweetheart though, he will never purposefully use even half of his real strength on you.

"Dude, we have been on a romantic movie marathon for like 1 week already," you whine as you grab the remote from the table, flipping the channels, "Oh look, the conjuring series is on!"

"not today satan," Jungwon says, about to snatch the remote away from you but you were quick enough to retract your hands back, "whoops too slow."

Jungwon scoffs, biting his lips in annoyance before grabbing one of your hand and lurching towards you. You've always thought you were pretty strong and he was kind of just average but boi you were wrong, for not only did you get easily pinned down, by the time you realized the awkward position, you can see that the remote was already in his hand as he taunted you with a smirk, "Guess who's slow now?"

Always absentmindedly (or maybe not 🤭, you'll never know) do skinships with you as if it's nothing. Sometimes while sitting next to each other, his fingers would be playing with yours. Sometimes in a crowd, his hand would grasp yours, as if afraid he would lose you. If you have something on your face or hair, instead of telling you to fix it yourself, he'd come close to you and do it himself as if the proximity meant nothing. And yet he wonders why everyone thought you two were dating 🙄

Can be a shy boi but whenever you expect him to, you will never catch him slipping. In fact whenever you try to play around, he would flip the table so easily. For example once, in a staring contest, you thought you could make him lose by inching your face closer to his but ha jokes on you, he got even closer that his nose almost touched yours. Obviously, you can't win over that one. Knowing how competitive he is, he wouldn't hesitate to get even closer. Or that one time, you help him apply some eyeshadow on his eyes for a school dance performance and you absentmindedly got a bit too close to his face while angling your head. "Whoa" he muttered quietly, startled. "Pfft, are you shy?" you teased, thinking you had the upper hand. "Not really, it's just that the way you leaned in almost made me want to lean in too," he calmly answered, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as he noticed your face turning red, "well, who's shy now?"

Bro is crazy attentive. He remembers everything about you: your likes, your dislikes, your wants, your needs, your anxiety, a dream you had, your book/movie review -- whatever. As long as it was something you said, or something he can observe, it will be imprinted in his mind as if he will be tested on it in an exam. Like you'd just casually sigh about how useful an air fryer would be in your household and the next thing you knew he had gotten you that. Or that one time when you whined about how worn out your running shoes were and boom! that was exactly what he had gotten you next -- the best one too.

Though he does not seem like it but he can be very protective and possessive too. Like that one time while you were working in your part-time job and you were about to go up to a group of guys to take their order and he suddenly stopped you, looking concerned. Taking your notepad, he shook his head, despite the fact that he wasn't even on server duty, "Let me. I'm pretty sure they'd mess around with you if you go up to them". Or that one time when he missed you so much during summer break that he ended up having a Zoom video call with you for hours. At one point your phone rang and you told him that you'd need to turn off the Zoom call to take the phone call as it was from your friend but he just shamelessly and flat-out told you to reject the call, "No dont take it. Tell them you're on another call. Tell them to call back later or something. Or just ignore it".

𝐇𝐄𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐔𝐍𝐆 doesn't think twice when he sees you on the bleachers at his basketball game, because he's gotten so used to seeing you there, cheering him on whenever he scores and waving enthusiastically when he looks your way... only to find himself doing a double take when he notices you talking to the members of the opposition's team. stands there for a while with a tilted head as he wonders why it is you're giggling and twirling your hair, batting your eyelashes at whatever it was the guy was saying. and he really shouldn't have been so annoyed, seeing as you're free to talk to whoever you like... but for some reason, he finds himself purposely missing a shot and causing the ball to roll over to where you and your friends are sitting, just so he has an excuse to walk over there after your pick up the ball, before kissing you on the cheek as he takes ball back. "thanks, baby," he says, before walking away again.... but of course, not without one last cocky smirk to the other guy when he sees your flustered expression, and a promise to ask you out properly after he wins this game.

𝐉𝐀𝐘, who has gotten used to seeing snacks on his desk along with little notes whenever he wakes up from his nap, feels like he's been thrown into an alternate universe when he looks up one day to find that his desk his completely empty. looks around, and asks his deskmate if you came by today, only for them to shake their head and say that they haven't seen you all day. doesn't think too much about it at first, thinking that you may be busy... only to notice that it continues a few days straight. decides to walk to your class one day, completely forgoing his usual nap, just to see if you're okay, because as much as he wouldn't admit it, anyone could tell he was worried about you. so imagine his surprise when he walks up behind you while you're talking to your friends, just to learn you've been doing it on purpose to make him miss you. crosses his arms and leans down to your ear with a smirk, causing your heart to fly out of your chest when you realise he was there all along. "okay, you win." because he really did miss you... maybe even more than you had planned.

𝐉𝐀𝐊𝐄 probably takes a while to figure out that you're avoiding him, but only because he genuinely believes you when you say you're busy when he asks why you can't make it to his soccer game. he knows that you have a life outside of school, so he can't feel upset... but everyone (his teammates, his friends, his coach, his neighbour, his dog...) notices that he is walking around the field like a depressed puppy whose owner doesn't want to play with him, and it's all because you're not in your usual seat, cheering him on while wearing his number like you usually do. and it makes him realise just how much you were becoming his lucky charm, just as you had boldly proclaimed you would be. and so that's how he finds himself waiting for you after you're finished your classes for the day, before wrapping his arms around you in a hug, not caring about the wolf whistles and the cheers coming from all the students and teachers who stood watching around you, or the way you stuttered his name in protest because of how he was acting in public... all he could think about was how he was a fool for not making you his to begin with.

𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐍 can't remember when you haven't been next to him. from the first day of school, you were the one beside him, helping him in class whenever he had to catch up on work that he missed because of his figure skating career, saving him a seat on the bus because you knew he would always end up being five minutes late out of class. so when he comes back from a week off from school, he is visibly taken aback when you walk in and take a seat at the front of the classroom, next to some other guy who he didn't even know existed until now. doesn't buy it for a second when his new seatmate explains that you had to switch because you had trouble seeing, and burns holes into the back of your head for the entire lesson, intensifying his glare when you and your new seatmate are a tad too close for comfort, heads bumping against each other as you whisper about the answers to the questions, like you used to do with sunghoon. can't seem to catch you alone for the rest of the day, so he waits for the end of the day, when you guys catch the bus together, and makes sure that he gets there before you do... so that when you try and sit next to someone else, he pulls you down in the seat he saved next to him, before leaning his head on your shoulder, his hand wrapped around your smaller one. "stay here, please..." because you’re the only one he wants beside him, and he wants to be the only one next to you.

𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐎𝐎 knows immediately that something isn't right when you don't ask for his help with your club projects. being in the photography club, you love to remind him how he is your favourite model, and you make it painfully obvious whenever you beg him to let you take his pictures. imagine his surprise and offense when you no longer seek him out first, but some other guy in a different class, who you keep positing pictures of on the school newsletter, where you used to post his pictures instead. he instantly makes a plan to win you back and become your favourite once again, even going as far as to rock up to school the next day with blonde hair that makes everyone stop and stare... except you, the person who is usually the first to jump on the train of people to praise him. he realises at that moment that this goes beyond just his pride; he genuinely just wants to be able to make you smile like before. so imagine your surprise when you open the newsletter for the next week, to find a candid photo of you looking at your camera, hair blowing in the wind and a smile on your face, with the caption "prettiest girl in our grade" followed by, "taken by kim sunoo".

𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐖𝐎𝐍 does not beat around the bush. so the first time you walk by him in the hallway without so much as uttering a "hi," he immediately knows he needs to confront you about it, because not a single day has passed in the time that you've known each other where you haven't jumped on him (figuratively, of course) whenever the chance arises so you can chat his ear off about something or other. and he doesn't like the feeling he gets seeing you give him the cold shoulder for reasons he has no idea about. so the next time you pass him by without saying anything, he's grabbing your wrist and tugging you down the hallway, ignoring the squeals from your friends as he pulls you into the janitor's closet. "why are you avoiding me?" he demands, frowning. but then the two of you are rendered blushing incoherent messes when you try to escape the room... only to trip on your own two feet and fall into his arms, your lips bumping against each other in the process. (but even though it's an accident, jungwon thinks that he really likes this feeling alot.)

𝐍𝐈-𝐊𝐈 is an absolute menace, and you are probably one of the only people in the world other than his mother that can put up with him. it really surprises people to see you follow him around, cooking him bentos and fixing his tie for him because he always fails at doing it himself, only to find out that you're not his girlfriend. ni-ki himself probably doesn't even realise how much you've been taking care of him until you stop showing your face around his classroom at lunch, and no longer nag him about his uniform or his hair being messy. instead, he's left to watch as you turn around whenever you see him, purposely changing paths so you don't bump into each other. no one is surprised when he jumps over a fence just so he can catch up to you after you try to run away after making eye contact with him for the hundredth time. you end up blurting your feelings for him before he can ask, and while you brace yourself for rejection, he's already kissing you like he hasn't seen you for months... and wondering why he never did it sooner.

To yang jungwon, you were nothing but his most beautiful dream. The finest embodiment of his fairytale, the girl who swept him off his feet despite him not being a huge fan of romance, and the girl who made him feel magic and love both at once at an incredible and irresistible rate. Yes, you, his lovely noona who he’s been head over heels in love with since the past 7 months without a single soul knowing.

He first met you at the subway station, a pretty passer-by who caught his attention, but the second time he met you at the dog park while he was walking maeumi and you approached him and said hi, things have been quite stormy inside his heart. From a single hello, conversations struck and giggles emerged, and there you go, being such close friends and crashing at their dorm daily quickly became your weekly routine.

the thing about you that struck jungwon the most first, was your sweet angelic smile. The way the corners of your mouth crinkled and your eyes creased at the ends like crescent moons, the way your squeaky laughters penetrated his ears and heart and the way the beautiful sight of your happiness touched his soul raw. Bit by bit, everything about your kind personality became his favourite, bit by bit everything from your loose brown curls to your beautiful starry eyes and your honey dripping voice, became his one and only source of weakness.

Jungwon began longing for you, a foreign desire to have you close to him, to see you daily, to touch you and hold you in his embrace, all these cravings that he never felt before began to emerge him inside a cloud of yearning and love. He began wanting you a little more everyday, and the need to hear your laughs became as important to him as a sick person requiring his only medicine.

However, there was one problem. Jungwon knew you didn’t believe in love. And that is exactly why, you weren’t dating anyone or were even interested to, and cut off every conversation that anyone ever raised about love. You were closed off when it came to relationships, and that is what frightened jungwon and backed him away from ever confessing to you. You were too precious to lose for him by a careless action, and due to your sad reluctance and rejection to love overall, jungwon’s beautiful dream, of having you in his life forever by his side as someone special, became nothing but a distant bitter memory.

But he could swear there were times when he felt a spark between you two. A spark that maybe both of you felt the same level of affection and attraction for eachother. The way you held his gaze in somewhat awe sometimes when your eyes locked, the way your fingers grazed against his expectantly when your hands touched and the way your cheeks would go rosy everytime he came closer to you than needed. And ofcourse, how could he forget how he felt the drumming of your heart beat against his chest when riki “accidentally”tripped you both and jungwon fell on top of you, with your lips almost touching. He could swear, he felt the softness and warmth of your lips tingle on his for a brief moment, and he already knew he had never tasted or felt anything sweeter than them before.

And that is exactly what was happening now. His gaze lingered on your mouth as you sipped your drink, with your eyes fixated on jay and laughing at something he said, while jungwon’s hovered on you. You looked extra gorgeous tonight, with your curves draped in the shiny silk material of your dress and your curls dangling upto your waist like ocean waves. Tonight, jungwon felt love for you far more intensely than any other, and dizzy from the effect of the alcohol, he had little restraint over his actions or thoughts that were full of longing and affection for you. And only you.

You came over at the Enha dorm tonight for their celebration dinner party after their long tour. You were ofcourse invited by the boys, especially their leader, who loved having you over the most, the fact that you and everyone else knew pretty well.

“Noona!! Aah move” a sudden voice breaks your concentration away from jay, as the pouty maknae ni ki appears into the scene and shoves you away in jungwon’s direction with a mischievous smile, while positioning himself between you and jay. He was shoving you almost into jungwon’s lap and you almost tripped, but luckily you grabbed the end of the table and restored your balance.

“Ay niki! What are you even doing?” You pretend to scold him, but instantly burst into laughter seeing his hilarious expression, and move further away to give him space because after all, he was all your precious baby brother. But what changed the mood of the atmosphere was the way you felt a sharp spark of electricity run down your body the moment you turned your face and found heavy dark brown eyes looking intensely into yours. Two hazy pair of eyes reflecting a feeling inside them you couldn’t identify, you saw jungwon, and the moment you felt his gaze and his fingers brush past your waist, you could swear you felt heat radiate in every part of your body and shivers run down your spine. You felt a spark of intimacy the moment his breaths fanned your cheek and immediately turned your face away to prevent it from burning away from the sudden shyness you were overcome with.

Tonight, for some reason, jungwon felt so different and he made you blush so much. He felt mature, and you couldn’t take your eyes off him neither could you deny or ignore the loud drumming of your heart every time your eyes crossed him. The attractive way the shirt he wore settled into his broad shoulders, the way his dimples poked everytime he smiled and the way his voice reverberated inside your spine and gave you goosebumps everytime he so much spoke. It was crazy, the things you were feeling today for him, the way you were so overpowered by temptation and a feeling you couldn’t understand. But now, you shake your head to discard these thoughts and concentrate on the dinner laid before you, scolding yourself for seeing your friend the way you were doing right now. You definitely weren’t falling in love with yang jungwon tonight.

Fifteen minutes had passed and in the blink of an eye, the party had been wrapped up and everyone was already headed into the kitchen with the dishes, while the rest crashed into the living room to play games. Leaving only you and the man who made your head dizzy tonight alone, and things were only about to take a historic turn in a few seconds. Only if you knew..

“Noona. Don’t go yet.” Jungwon stops you as you were about to rise up, his hands clutching your wrists and politely gesturing you to sit down beside him. You do so almost immediately, like a reflex action, every cell of your body registering to his voice, despite the fact that every one of them was also warning you that you were gonna slip and fall six feet under if you do not walk out of the room right now. From the way he took two inches closer to you and brushed his hair back before locking eyes with you, your heart knew damn well there was no going back from what it realized just now.

“There is something I want to talk to you about, noona.” He says, his voice as gentle as it could be, as he tucks a stray strand of your hair behind your ear.

“Yes?”

Everything in him just wanted to confess to you right away. Everything in him just wanted to tell you how much he loved you all this while, how you were the most special person in his life and how he wanted you to be more than just friends. But, damn it, you looked so beautiful he couldn’t find the words to say it and the beer he drank earlier from the party made his head so dizzy that he couldn’t think straight at all. He could only listen to the one thing his heart wanted the most right now. The one thing his heart wanted, your lips on his. To kiss you deep and slow, with nothing but promise and love so every wrong fear inside you falters and you believe that love does exist, and love does exist infront of you in the shape of the person sitting infront of you right now.

“I need you to help me with something.” He continued, as you nodded and listened.

“There’s uh..someone I like. I like very much, to be honest. I love her. But I haven’t really told her yet. I want to kiss her, but I don’t have much experience in kissing. So I was wondering if you would..let me kiss you and try?”

Oh my goodness. Did yang jungwon just propose to kiss you? You definitely heard wrong. Definitely the drumming of your heart inside your ears made you go deaf this time.

“Hold on a second?! You..want to practice on me?” You ask surprised, but little do you know you’d have no second to react further, cause the next thing you know is his mouth on yours, and his arms draped around your waist. His lips felt soft, the way they pressed against yours made you automatically part yours to let them in. He kissed you with his intoxicating taste, bringing one of his hands to cup your cheek and caress your skin with his thumb, while his mouth explored yours with a need and temptation as brilliant as a blazing thousand suns. He tasted so unbelievably sweet and his kiss felt so incredibly fierce yet gentle, you could swear you were seeing stars and everything infront of you was going dark. The only sensation was the colliding of your heart beats, the scent of him burning in your lungs, the warmth of his breaths heating up your skin and the feel of your tender lovemaking between both your lips.

None of you could withdraw your mouths from eachother other. It was as if he was a drowning man, and your kisses were his only source of oxygen. He kissed you with such raw passion and hunger as if he was someone who’s been dying to kiss you for ages. Seconds turn to minutes, and you were there, your legs wrapped around his waist and you climbed into his lap, with your mouths still attached. You bury both of your hands on the back of his neck to pull him deeper into the kiss, while his fingers lace around your waist and moved up and around your curves to feel you in his grip like you belonged. You could feel him stop and smile in between the kisses, pressing your foreheads together and brushing your noses for a brief second innocently, as if that wasn’t the most adorable thing a man could do while kissing you so romantically yet desperately.

You detach your mouth from his after a brief moment, when a temporary sense knocks inside you and you stare at him while still positioned on his lap, both your hands still glued to your bodies, reluctant to let go. Right when your forced conscience asks you to stop, there comes another wave of tempting yet unknown proposal that sweeps you off your feet.

“Jungwon I think we should sto-“ you begin to say when you’re cut off with his sentence. His voice sounded raspy, with his gaze stern as the next words rolled off his tongue so swiftly.

“One more. There’s one more thing I’d like to practice. I promise, it will be the last.” He speaks convincingly, demandingly and strangely enough-dominantly. In a way, you know that even if you were born a million times, you wouldn’t be able to reject this tone.

“And what is it?”

“Come on. Follow me.”

Jungwon gets up from the sitting position and stands up, giving out his hand to you to take it, and when your fingers lock, he guides you past the space towards his room. You follow him quietly, staring at his figure from the back as you notice the way he feels and looks so much more like a man now than the cute boy you met 7 months ago. His back muscles flexed as he walked, and you were stormed by so many fantasies you miserably tried to suppress back.

He gestures you to walk in his dimly lit room after him and as soon as you do, you feel him press you with the doorframe while swiftly shutting the door behind him in one go. With the hand he was touching yours, he grips your wrists lightly with the wood and uses his finger to lift your chin up, making you look into his direction.

“This.”

That is all you hear, and before you can process a thing his mouth crashes with yours, and this time your whole body shudders as you feel his tongue slide inside your mouth, the intoxicating and addicting taste making you weak in the knees and unable to stand. You use your free hand to caress and fondle his sharp jaw, as you keep letting yourselves taste eachother’s loving hives. He tasted sugary, his perfume plunging deep inside your lungs as usual and his hands resting on your hips with your bodies pressed tightly with one another. The feel of his soft lips against your own, and his tongue intertwined with yours, were enough to make you forget everything about the world except for yang jungwon himself.

Before you could know it, almost like the rhythm of your favourite song, you switch the places you were in, from making out against the door to now, him carrying you all princess style and softly positioning you on the bed before pressing gentle kisses on your entire face- your forehead, your eyelids, your nose, your cheeks, your chin, to your lips again. This time he intertwines both your hands with his and looks at you with a sheepish, loving smile. As if from the way, it was not clear enough. As if from the way he kissed you with devotion and yearning, it wasn’t clear enough. As if you needed him now to look at you with admiration for you to know the answer. Yes, indeed. Yang jungwon was in love with you. And you were stormed with this joyful reality only tonight.

Jungwon begins trailing tender kisses down your neck, pressing his lips down to your sensitive spots and letting them linger on your flesh more than needed to make you gasp feeling the firm wetness of his mouth on your skin. You join your lips again to kiss eachother again; this time more fiercely and passionately, this time using every way you both can to deliver what you feel for eachother. Unsaid love confessions, a million feelings with one brief touch. But, the moment is interrupted soon enough abruptly, as you hear banging on the door from sunoo and ni ki, them calling your name out as it was time for you to go and they were supposed to drop you off. The last thing you remember was a peck on your lips and a tight embrace from the boy who enchanted you tonight, and a sweet “good night, noona” in a familiar, raspy and, sweet voice that you loved so much.

The next morning comes by after what feels like an eternity. You were in the middle of a dream as you abruptly wake up, the same dream you have been dreaming all night. The dream of jungwon and you kissing longingly, the feel of soft pillow behind your head and his body on yours, the silky feel of his hair touching your face as you felt his mouth moving inside yours. The dream felt so real…that you woke up with a buzz, both from the pounding way the steamy romantic dream made you feel and from the effect of drinking beer last night at dinner.

Hold on..did last night even happen or was it all in your head?

You ask yourself, suddenly wide awake with confusion as you get alarmed by the sound of your doorbell ringing. Who could possibly show up at your place so early at 8 am in the morning on a Sunday morning?

Unless it was who you were expecting.

You rub your eyes and push your hair down to make it presentable as you rush towards your front door and open it to see the familiar figure you’ve been dreaming of all night long. There infront of you, was jungwon, in his oversized orange hoodie and messy hair, dangly earrings and a shy, overwhelmed smile.

“Good morning noona.” He says in a tiny voice, scratching the back of his neck and obviously, blushing with his evident rosy cheeks.

“Hmmh. Definitely a great opportunity to be greeted both good morning and good night from yang jungwon in one go.” You tease, pulling him into your apartment and giggling, reminding him of all the memories from the night before.

His pupils immediately dilate and he freezes remembering the romantic way he wished you good night the night before and ofcourse the way you both kissed and made out not-so-innocently in his room.

“I erh..” he stammers, being awkward and shy like a teenager in love for the first time before inhaling and regaining a serious composure.

“Noona. I came over this early because I wanted to talk to you about that actually.” He utters nervously, while standing directly infront of you.

“Go on.”

“The thing is. Firstly,I don’t want you to think that everything that happened yesterday was because I was drunk on my part. Secondly, the girl I was talking about ..was uhm…you.” He blushes and sharply exhales before continuing with a firm determination in his eyes.

“To be honest, I love YOU noona! I do now..I always did and I promise I always will. I just never found the courage to say it out loud bc I feared you would shut me out noona. I always wanted to tell you how badly I want to be with you for the rest of my life..as ofcourse your lover. *gulps* it’s just that the alcohol made me use actions instead of words to convey that. I’m really sorry if I..I..I just really don’t know. Are you gonna reject me now?” His expression saddens, his voice dropping and eyes pleading desperately for an answer.

“Well.”

“From the way I kissed you back last night, do you really think I would?” You raise your brow and chuckle, opening your arms for him for a loving hug.

“But I thought you didn’t believe in love.” Jungwon says skeptically in a joking manner, before taking steps towards you to obviously pull you into his embrace.

“Right. I didn’t. But now I do.”

“Sometimes, one kiss is all it takes to make you believe in everything. Including love, yang jungwon” you laugh as you wrap your arms around his neck tighter, feeling your heart fill up with warmth as you feel the echoing of his joyful laughter seep inside you.

“There’s something I got you noona. Wait.” The catboy before you redraws for a few seconds, before pulling out something from his hoodie pocket with excited eyes. What you see before, is unfortunately just a hollow stem and nothing else.

“OH NO!! The flower fell off?! ..uhm noona I’m SORRY! Maybe it fell of when I ran here a few minutes ago to come see you.” He pouts apologetically as you laugh histerically at his adorable complain and apologies.

“Well well. Maybe I’ll forgive you if you finish what you started last night huh.” You chuckle mischievously, and with that, your lover boy is back inside your arms, kissing you ever so affectionately and this time pressing a thousand I love yous and sweet confessions into your lips and skin as you guys continue kissing so tenderly.

Indeed, It was true from your part. Yang jungwon always felt like home but you were too silly to realize it. You were too silly to not realize the way your heart used to beat so loud everytime he was near you or smiled, and at the end of your everyday it was him you always wanted to run upto and hug. It was him you wanted to see and talk to all the time, it was him who made you feel loved and appreciated and so so beautiful. It was the warmth of his touches and his laughter that filled all the emptiness inside your soul and it was him you wanted to wake up to every morning and him you wanted a future with. Him you wanted to walk the rest of your lives holding hands with, him you wanted to ride the merry go round of life. He was your peace, he was your comfort, he was your only solace. And sure you realized it late, but now that you did, it was certain you were never letting him go.

And now as you watched him pick flowers for you at the floral shop, furrowing his frows so cutely trying to decide which one you’d like best, you couldn’t help but smile from a happiness that you knew only he and he alone could bring you for certain.

“Jungwon?” You called lovingly, your eyes bleary from the ride of emotions you were feeling right now. You had finally found the love you were searching for all your life.

“Hmm noona?” He smiles coming to you with a white rose bouquet, his dimples poking out, a heavenly sight you could never get tired of watching for the rest of your life.

“There’s something I want to tell you.”

"You filled a part of my soul I always thought would be empty, and you healed scars I never knew existed. And I realized…..it's not that I didn't believe in love before. It's that I was saving it all for you."

“I love you. Yang jungwon. Today, tomorrow and forevermore.”

You confess before running back into the arms that felt like safety.

Arms that felt warm and secure, like finally returning home.

“how do you feel about your comeback?” you made an eye contact with heeseung and your heart skipped a beat. “um…” he was left speechless because of the short interaction you both had.

jungwon took the mic and giggled, speaking instead of the stressed heeseung and making a joke about heeseung being too tired to focus.

– kissing him when he’s still half-asleep

the sun rays started shining through the curtains, hitting your eyes. you slowly opened them trying to adjust to the strong (late) morning light. it had been a long week and you needed to sleep as much as you could, giving your body the rest it needed. you stretched your body before turning to the side, seeing your boyfriend still asleep with his arms stretched by his head. you smiled softly at the sight before you, leaning down to kiss the tip of his nose. when you pulled back you watched as his eyes fluttered, still in between sleep and reality. heeseung opened his eyes, trying to look at you, but sleep was stronger than him and his eyes closed back again. you let out a quiet laugh and leaned down to kiss his pouty lips this time. the corners of his lips twitched upwards and his cheeks were getting warmer, making you chuckle at him before kissing his cheek and getting up to start your day.

you and jay had been invited to a dinner with all of your friends. it was in a very fancy restaurant. high ceilings and big chandeliers. you were sat with your girlfriends while he sat with his friends, further from you. you hadn’t seen them in what felt like forever, work had been keeping all of you busy now that the year was ending. you were all engaged in a conversation, keeping up with everything going on with each other and spilling the latest gossip at work. you were so immersed in the conversation you kind of forgot jay was there too and this wasn’t just a casual dinner with your friends so you looked behind you and saw jay with his sleeves rolled up, laughing with his own friends. it was in moments like this you wondered how you had scored a man like this. too lost in your thoughts, you didn’t notice jay looking back at you. when his eyes made contact with yours, you playfully winked at him, making him look away while blushing, making you laugh at his behaviour as you tuned back into the conversation.

– brushing his hair away

it was one of those peaceful days where both you and jake had a day off from work. jake had slept over at your house and you two spent the whole day basically doing nothing but enjoying each other company, which is something rare since lately he’s had a busy schedule because comeback is just around the corner. you had a whole movie marathon planned for the day and you were already on your fourth movie. the clock had just hit 7pm and you were starting to feel sleepy. jake was currently lying with his head on your lap as you were sat with your legs spread on the couch. you looked down at him, seeing him focused on the movie, his cheeks flushed from sleepiness. you smiled softly at the sight, your hand making its own way down to his cheek, caressing the soft skin. he looked up at you, smiling softly as he tried to rub the sleep off his eyes. his hair was falling on his eyes so your hand moved upwards to brush his hair away from his eyes. he closed his eyes at the touch as he felt his cheeks warm up and his heart flutter at the simple yet affectionate action.

today had been a long day for sunghoon. everything felt like it was going wrong. from the way his day started with him forgetting to bring his umbrella and getting soaked on his walk from work, him continuously making mistakes during dance practice to him spilling his drink he had ordered along with some food for lunch. his day was not bound to go well and he had already accepted his fate. he was so frustrated with himself. hoe could he keep making stupid mistakes during rehearsal? even though everyone kept reassuring him it was fine to have off days he just couldn’t be easy on himself. he just needed nothing but spend time with you and feel your confronting presence. sunghoon was currently lying down in your bed as you sat on the edge of it by his head. you were letting him ramble about his day. since the moment he stepped inside your house you knew something was up with him and if you didn’t insist on him he would just bottle all those feelings up. he was ranting about all his unpleasant events of the day as you looked down at him with a soft gaze. as he spoke he felt your hand starting to caress his hair until it was running smoothly through its strands, making him stutter his words. you laughed at him as he covered his face, hiding his blushing cheeks.

୨୧ KIM SUNOO !

– the way you stare at him when he speaks

sunoo is a very talkative person and he isn’t ashamed of it. he loves talking about the things he loves and sharing them with you. every time he is telling you about something that happened to him he will not miss any details. you obviously didn’t mind, you loved listening to him talk and you would do it for hours (as if you didn’t already). every time you didn’t see each other for a long time, like when he went on tour he would tell you everything that happened while he was abroad. it was happening today. sunoo had just come back from tour and you both missed each other more than anything so you took a day off to spend together. you both walked through the centre of the city, walking by the river as you watched all the people gathered there. you went shopping and stopped by a plush store and sunoo literally begged you to let him buy you one just because it resembled you. now, you were both taking a break in a cafe, eating every kind of pastry while drinking hot drinks as sunoo told you funny stories that happened during their concerts. you watched as he spoke with such a happy face, showing just how much he loved what he did. your head was propped in your hand as you stared at him lovingly. he stopped talking, hiding his blushing cheeks, scolding you for looking at him in such a manner. you just smiled and leaned forward to leave a peck on his lips.

୨୧ YANG JUNGWON !

– holding his hand when he’s stressed

being a leader is probably the hardest position to be in a group, especially when you’re a young one. now, jungwon loves being a leader, he loves to know that the members rely on and trust him like no one, but when he is expected to give speeches wherever they go, it gets him really anxious and even stressed. he’s done it multiple times and he almost always used to it, but sometimes, like today, he needs to talk to a bigger crowd in a bigger event. he’s been restless for the whole day, reading his script over and over again, trying to memorize it. you heard it so many times you could probably do the speech yourself without looking at the paper. he was sitting next to you on a couch backstage. his leg was bouncing up and down and he was sighing way too many times. you were getting worried he would get it all wrong just because of stupid nerves. you grabbed his hand, making him still in his movements. he looked at you and you gave his hand a reassuring squeeze, making him smile and nod at you appreciating the comfort you were trying to bring him.

୨୧ NISHIMURA RI-KI !

– communicating without words

ni-ki loved performing more than anything in this world. it was what he did for a living and he couldn’t be more grateful for that. everyone, even without an artistic eye, could tell he was damn good at what he did, but somehow, he was never proud of his work. he would always point out flaws here and there that nobody noticed. he was too hard on himself and it made you sad that he couldn't see how good he does when he’s on stage. today was an important performance for him, he was going to have a solo dance project and he had been practicing so hard for it there was no way he would make a mistake. ni-ki had invited you to watch the recording and you gladly accepted. you watched him as he danced with the two backup dancers with such good chemistry. when the recording wrapped up he had to walk straight to an interview. he was walking past you and from the looks of it he wasn’t too happy with the result of things. he turned to look at you, seeing you nod proudly at him as you silently clapped and gave him a thumbs up with a grim, making him smile as looked down to the floor, visibly flustered and warmed up cheeks.
