Canadian folks, there will be an Emergency Broadcast System Test on May 10th. If you have a hidden/emergency phone, be aware of this.
From TheWeatherNetwork’s article on the test:
On May 10th, 2023, a public test message will be distributed through Alert Ready, Canada’s Public Alerting System, in most provinces and territories over television, radio and compatible wireless devices.
Alert Ready is designed to deliver critical and potentially life-saving alerts to Canadians, including but not limited to tornadoes, flooding, fires and AMBER alerts.
The test will be scheduled around the following times (Source: TWN):
Alberta - No test
British Columbia - 1:55 PM / 13:55 PDT
Manitoba - 1:55 / 13:55 PM CDT
New Brunswick - 10:55 AM ADT
Northwest Territories - 9:55 AM MDT
Nova Scotia - 1:55 PM / 13:55 ADT
Newfoundland & Labrador - 10:55 AM NDT
Nunavut - 2:00 PM / 14:00 EDT
Ontario - 12:55 PM EDT
Prince Edward Island - 12:55 PM ADT
Quebec - No Test
Saskatchewan - 1:55 PM / 13:55 CST
Yukon - 1:55 PM / 13:55 MST
Televisions, radios, and wireless devices (cell phones) will broadcast the alert signal during this time and it is bound to be loud (See that linked article for a detailed description and sample of the tone/alert to be used. If you have a hidden/emergency phone, make sure it is turned off during this test.

Hmm ok so
- Cucurucho (Osito Bimbo?) was not aware the islanders were being sent away
- The fact that it knows what the virus is called (Shadow Virus) implies it has experienced it before or at least had knowledge on it
- Egg Island was a part of protocol AB.
- Despite the state of the island Cucurucho still wants to bring the islanders back.
- a code entity has been captured (whether it’s Codeflippa, Arin, or another code has yet to be determined)
- The Watcher (and imo most likely Cucurevil) are indeed a third party separate from the Federation
- The museum remains untouched by the virus
- From a distance, the virus seemed to be struggling to break into the glass dome where Etoiles and Philza fought the code eggs.
I’ve got some many thoughts in my head about this y’all I’ve just gotta string them together into something coherent

I HATE when people call people born in 1994 Zoomer because like. I was being labeled as a milenial before the word zoomer even existed. I deny your retrofitting you old cranky bastards
also one time I stayed home sick from school and saw a plane fly into a building. that was a pretty big thing that happened and I think that's like. THE MOST REASONABLE POSSIBLE cutoff.
#my brother was planning on staying home sick as well but#he clued in pretty early into the emergency broadcast that there wouldn't be any cartoons to stay home and watch#so he left for school but when he got to class the second plane struck and he had to watch the news all day anyway on the wheelie TVs
