Interrogating Worst Pupper yielded some surprising results and more questions. Let's see if Kurumi has any context to offer about it.
GODDAMMIT KURUMI. I turned my back for five minutes. Did you get kidnapped, eaten, or hungry? All three of these options are viable.
Hard to make out the clothes from here. Is that supposed to be Kurumi or one of the Master Detectives? It looks like another Halara to me.

Yeah, my money is on Kurumi getting hungry and wandering off to find some flesh to eat. She'll probably be feral for a shocking WTF next time we see her.

The Food Processing Plant wasn't the secret secret lab. It was the Food Processing Plant. We didn't get to fully explore it but I still think that's where the kidnapped outsiders get processed into KANAI WARD SIGNATURE MEAT BUNS.

Huesca does not think highly of his own homunculus project. Makes sense since, if Blank Week means what I think it does, he fucking killed everybody in Kanai Ward. Including himself, as we can see here.
Huh, no wonder Yomi couldn't let him escape the city. Just like Icardi, things would have gone downhill real fast and in a hurry for the homunculus secret if Huesca inadvertently and publicly cut himself off from the sanity-preserving meat buns.
Huesca was motivated to rush his work and cut corners to try and win the arms race against UG's experiments. So, of course, he fucked up and everybody died.
No wonder he has a terrible reputation even within Amaterasu.
It was gentrification. There was never a toxic gas leak. That was the excuse used to move everyone out of the village so that Huesca could carry out his work.
Oh look. Zilch's interrogation ended abruptly when he began looping the conversation. I think Huesca's looping all the way back to the beginning. This is when he first woke up as a homunculus, after Makoto remade everyone.
I don't think we need to ask Kurumi about Blank Week anymore. It's pretty obvious what it was at this point.

Not just new beginnings, but rather continue the journey to greatness and success
What is going on in life?
In the process of transitioning a new job, patching up previous accounts and working through the desired life.
It was then realizing that relaying too much on other people, this the reason why we couldn't bear the weight of life.
Between being a responsible adult who just emerged to the ranks of the working world, the underlying competition, the monthly dues, the race of acquiring better than your peers;
some call it burn out, maybe depression, or just lost.
At the same time still being the pupper who would rather follow the guardian, the grown up, the mature one, about everything silently.
Now, doing the latter is frightening as if walking to an unfamiliar path to get to the destination.
How will we reach to our destination if we don't want to walk? Waiting for someone to guide us as we just sight see our surrounding like toddlers?
In the unfamiliar path, we will certainly trip, fall, scrape our knees and bleed. We definitely also be feasted by mosquitoes, preyed by wolves, chased wild boars, and mistakenly eat something poisonous. Why, you might ask.
Because we in the unfamiliar. We haven't had a clue of what is awaiting us on the other side. We'd rather talk to someone who had already walked back* and ask them silly inquiries
but remember, we don't walk on the same path.
Thus experience it. Learn about the journey, your journey. The transition to your of you life that you want to live. Patch up the bruises you will get, avoid the den of the wild animals, and consume the right and healthy things in life.
*Filipino saying “papunta ka palang, pabalik na ako,”[Literal translation: You're just on your way, but I just got back from there] by the elderly is common. It is like an advice to the young that they know what they know, endured what they endured, and have the insight of the life because they already ‘walked on it.’ What they experience

Took a photo with the elderly lady I’m staying with ❤️
If you’ve been following me for 5+ years you probably remember when I moved out and couldn’t take my dog with me.
If you’ve been following me for 12+ years, you might remember when I got this little lady.
When I moved out, she became my youngest sisters dog, and while visiting I can see how attached she is to her and how much they love each other, so while I’ll always be sad I had to leave her behind, I definitely left her in capable hands. Since she was getting old, I often worried I’d never get to see her before she passed, so part of this trip is getting to see the little pupper that I had through some of the lowest points in my life. She’s definitely a grumbly old lady, but I love her so much.

Thanks for asking! TL;DR she's okay!
Sorry for replying only now, been busy with adult problems. Also I've been living in the state of constant hypervigilance of her health and it's exhausting, but that's what having a dog baby (that's elderly but still baby) is like.
Checked when the last update was - before the check up. Passed the fact that I pretty much spent 1k on her in almost two weeks (goodbye my savings), the vet said it generally looked better, her meds got adjusted and I should contact them if there are changes. So far, since that visit, she had two "seizures", one or two days when she went on a hunger strike (which may be health related but more likely she just got upset she wasn't getting her favourite brand of wet food, so sorry you have to eat other things you spoilt idiot), she's often very tired and moody but the latter is nothing new. Oh, and she lost a tooth, exact date unknown - I only know cause it's' a bottom front one, now out of six she only has four left. You can see it here, it's her scary face.
Can you believe her face used to be all black? It's funny how grey she got, and she started greying with her eyelashes. Pekes have a very specific kind of beauty to them, I've seen people call them creepy for having such big eyes but to me she's the cutest. She hates everyone but my close family (meaning not all relatives are safe from her ankle biting), if you pick her up she's limp like a ragdoll, she loves sleeping in the middle of entryways and gaps between furniture.
I know that she's not going to live a long time now, not with all the heart issues, but I want to make it as comfortable for her as possible. She's my first dog and she's the smartest stupid animal out of all I've owned. She has a funny relationship with my other pets (yorkie and cat) and I think they will be sad too when she passes away. Hopefully it will be painless and at home.
Anyways, it got grim, my ramblings usually end up that way. Again, thanks for asking and the wishes! It was nice to get this off my chest.

this is a recreation of clothing that elderly women are known to have worn in the mycanaean age -- all the way in scandinavia. she’s literally decked out like a grandma, but she’s flaunting it. wearing a fair bit of silver jewelry and trinkets, with a long fur mantle and cloak as a further display of her status/implied wealth. her clothing is also dyed a deep black. braided bun with a horsehair net, making her somehow the most conservative of the cast in terms of hairstyle. she’s got a spear and a mind geared towards diplomacy with the House. gonna become besties w ax’s z*g and pupper’s dee and have Adventures... and also get romanced by the ferryman--

(We're moots but going anon because you're too cool for me and I'm shy sksksksss) Chu help me, I want to adopt a second dog but I'm still in uni and realistically I know it's a bad idea, but he's been at the shelter for so long and he's become so skinny and sad 😭😭 I'm lucky that I live in a house with a large backyard and roommates atm and I have a steady source of income and some money aside but idk what the future holds... But winter is here and I'm scared that he won't make it...
I already bought him a coat to protect him from the cold bc he kept shivering and I feed him extra food each time I go to the shelter since I'm a volunteer but he's not getting better, and now he's bonded to me on top of everything else. He's a high-energy breed too and I know I could provide him with the exercise and stimulation he needs (my first dog is actually too lazy for me and happy with one walk a day if even that despite being young and a "working breed" lmao rip). I dunno, I'm just scrambling my brain trying to think of a solution, I'd suggest fostering but the shelter really only does it for elderly or very young animals... I'd probably end up foster failing anyway lmao.
I guess I'm looking for a neutral outside pov from someone who has several dogs??

Id say your practical concerns are valid: if your roommates will accept him, if you can comfortably afford him, if you have help taking care of him if necessary etc. It sounds like most of those are answered. Have you asked your roommates about it?
The other concern is -- is his health so poor that you may lose him young? And can you afford that unfortunate possibility?
But I'd say If you're bonded and can handle it and have the means and safety net to care for him as well as (or better) than the shelter...I mean...I'd take him.
I think you've been extremely thoughtful and rational about the process and know the situation best. Talk to your roommates and don't doubt yourself. You know if you can handle him. And you'll certainly make it work if you have to, being a good match just helps lessen the stress.

But my mother and I want around the whole family to shelters before surprising them with meeting the dog we wanted. Aka kinda rudely but not irresponsibly bc we had a yard and supplies fr the previous dog we had 🥺.
And I got bread while living alone in an apartment with no yard at all to speak of bc my friend heard our other coworker freaking out that her roomate let a street dog in her apartment and my friend was like (without talking to me, just knowing I needed/wanted a dog) "oh vi will take that dog"
She came up to me later like "oh hey I got you a dog." I met her after work (LITERALLY ON MY WAY TO ANOTHER STATE FOR A THREE DAY VACATION) And fell in love with my idiot 🥺 said I'd take her with ZERO SUPPLIES or preparation and a messy ass apartment and left her with that friend who watched her those first two days and I came back early) whipped my shit into shape real good real fast.
It was rash and irresponsible as FUCK but we're doing just fine now bc we needed each other (she's laying next to me in bed with her snoot on my shoulder rn 🥺✨)
All of that to say I may not be the best person to ask lololol

Hello Minnie,
I hope this Monday is treating you well. I just had a little thought that I wanted to share with you:
Yesterday I saw a video of a delivery truck driver and how his favorite part of the job is to greet all the dogs on his route. He petted and talked to all of them and even brought them treats. He reminded me so much of Chris and of course I thought this would make a cute evanstan au. Bare with me:
Delivery truck driver Chris just being out there, excitedly greeting every dog on his way and looking way to good in cargo shorts
There's one address he really likes because the dog is so sweet. Maybe the pupper is already a bit on the older side but his tail still wagging very fast when he sees Chris
Chris makes sure to save some softer treats for the good boy because is teeth aren't the best anymore
(maybe delivery is a bit behind schedule because the driver was to busy giving a dog belly rubs)
Anyway one of these days Chris already gets excited when he sees the address on his route and gets ready to greet his favourite puppy (don't tell the other dogs)
Only this time the owner is outside as well, rearranging the plants on his porch or something like that and holy shit he's gorgeous
(spoiler: it's Sebastian)
Chris barely gets any words out as he hands the guy his package and asks for his signature (not really necessary but no one has to know that he just wants to stay a minute longer)
Sebastian of course is super sweet and talks to his dog ("is this your friend? Yeah? Do you get all excited when he drives up? Do you love the attention? Yes you do!")
Chris melts a little bit, tells Sebastian what a good boy his dog is and how he's always so happy to see him
If from then on Chris waits a few minutes longer at the house in order to see the handsome guy again then nobody has to know
And if Sebastian does a little more online shopping than strictly necessary then that's nobody's business

Chris loving his job mostly because of all the cute dogs he meets is just... peak Chris <3 And of course Sebastian would have an adorable elderly dog that he talks to a lot, the sweetheart 🥺 And then!! The mutual pining! It's so cuuuuute, oh my goodness. I wonder which one of them eventually gets brave and asks the other out, or maybe it's Seb's dog's doing somehow? Maybe it's a border collie, and he 'herds' the boys together until they're literally pressed up against each other with nowhere to go 👀

Happy Pride from a Happy Pupper and her Happy Person-lady!
Went to the pet store wearing my rainbow hairpiece and the ladies gave me the doggy dress for Ygritte for free! They were so sweet and she looks so adorable and all the people shopping at Canadian Tire stopped and said hi (masks included, yay them!) and even the ones in full camouflage and the super elderly who you might not expect it of (shame on me and my assumptions) wished myself and the Ygritte Happy Pride! It was one of the nicer moments in this whole pandemic, y’know? 🥰❤️����💙🐶
Celebrate in your own ways, loves—it’s still special. Though my heart is with Hungary today, and I hope that you’ll make yourself knowledgeable about what’s going on over there. Love to all—EVERY ONE OF YOU—of my fellows, sisters, brothers, and brethren. Ygritte sends her love and ally-ship too!
