first one that comes to mind is alice angel hands down! i LOVE how this costume turned out both years i did it for halloween. there are a few things id change about it if i did it again but overall for what it is i think it turned out very good!! i normally need glasses to see and i wore this eye patch for TEN HOURS to commit to the bit lmao

next id say is probably linda monroe. i just think everything about this works i cant really put it to words and even though theres a few differences from canon i think it looks really good!

i also really really like how amity turned out! most of the stuff i needed i just Happened to already own lol so all i really had to do was buy the wig and make the staff, i like it very much though <3

i also wanna give little shout outs to my rapunzel braid even though it wasnt a full on cosplay and my watcher world shirt because i spent ten hours painting it!

[: Poor Ashy seems pretty demotivated on his original Halloween costume idea - I understand, shit's stressful rn and to think that no one in our area would even know what he and the Shadow Doll were trying to be. I get it.

There was a kid at the daycare once that wasn't scared of Moon. The two talked back and forth, and upon hearing that the kid's home life wasn't great, Moon decided to sneak out of the pizzaplex. He followed the kid home, saw what his home life was like, and he took matters into his own hands, wanting to help the kid. The kid didn't survive whatever Moon did, and Moon (before being reset) carried a lot of regret with him over that incident

Moon recently bought a Chili's from Monty (implied, since Moon recently bought it and Monty said that they recently sold it)

Moon turned his and Sun's garage into his "experimentation area"

Moon makes and sells technology to the government, but he doesn't specify which government that is

Old Moon once ate someone (during the episode where he and Sun fought, and he wound up punching Sun)

New Moon knows the cure for cancer

Moon frequents a cannibal sushi shop in Japan where the employees all come to work in cosplay. The chef there is a furry/scalie

Moon occasionally goes to some weird anime dimension to blow off steam or find some amusement. In this dimension, everyone talks like anime characters and they all have internal anime character dialogue that gets spoken out loud. Simply saying "wind bullet" or "bang" is enough to defeat them, as they believe they're actually fighting battles similar to what happens in various animes (essentially Moon goes there for anime battle LARP-ing purposes)

Ok so here’s my SB thoughts after ruin. Spoilers ahead be warned.

The first thought is one that I haven’t actually seen people bring up but I think Cassie is dead. I’d hate for it to be true but I think when Roxy finds her at the end she possesses her and becomes the new “Charlie” if that makes sense, thus kickstarting the cycle again

Greg is absolutely a bot, but (and this is just a little thought I had based on my vague fnaf knowledge I am not a lore keeper) maybe he was made by fazent for kids like Cassie, lonely kids who have no one to play with. Then he gains sentience and starts fucking shit up. Anyways the reason I think he’s a bot is actually because of how Cassie behaved this game. She just acted a lot more human (screaming, crying, fighting back) in this game and it’s weird how different she behaved from Gregory, a kid around her age who is in a similar situation to her.

I don’t think it was grimic at the end who cut Cassie down, I actually do think it was Gregory. Mans is very morally grey, and is shown before to sacrifice lives (yeah I’m calling them lives because the bots are pretty sentient and Gregory knows that) for his goals/the greater good. I don’t think he’s evil or bad, he’s just more of an “ends justify the means” kinda person. He sacrificed Cassie in order to save the lives of the people outside of the pizzaplex, and to save himself, Freddy, and Vanessa. While it’s pretty fucked up what he did it’s not out of character, at least not to me.

If Cassie does live (which I REALLY HOPE SHE DOES I LOVE HER) then I think it would be cool to have two opposing teams of “good guys” working to defeat the mimic, they both have the same goals but have some serious beef with each other (and by the teams I mean Greg, Freddy, and Vanessa vs Cassie and Roxy (and maybe eclipse please please please or chica if her getting repaired becomes canon).

I’m still team “Monty didn’t kill Bonnie or at least he wasn’t in control of his actions when he did” btw. Idgaf what people say or how ominous the story in those cardboard cutouts looked I’m a Monty defender until I die.

Anyways I just really really really loved ruin 10/10 worth the wait I’m gonna cosplay Cassie when I go see the fnaf movie.

While I was in my Eclipse cosplay...

I picked up my kids from school. While waiting for my kids, two kindergarten girls saw me (and thought I was Sundrop) But they couldn't get over my costume and kept whispering excitedly to one another. They were so cute.

I decided to give them a surprise and started doing Sunny's wavy arm motions that he does when trying to entertain Gregory. They got so excited and started giggling so loudly. I also had a first grader ask for a picture.

Meanwhile all the adults in the vicinity were like "Cool but don't come closer."

What is some of the insanity that happens in the Seraphim AU? Well... That insanity might seem a little less in comparison to other AU's I am sure. So maybe just a few random facts then?

-

Seraphim Eclipse - On day 1 threw out those stupid barrels. He still doesn't know what purpose they actually served beyond driving up the anxiety levels of the previous attendants.

-Eclipse owns the Pizzaplex and there are slowly going to be new sections added to it over time. Including one thing he's excited about, an entire ampitheater where they will eventually host acrobatics shows on the level of Cirque du Soleil.

-While can eat, he only really eats oranges. The reason being that his Creator would always eat them while he was building Seraphim. It's something he picked up from someone who meant a lot to him.

-Stated from the previous post about Forkface, the mute Moon knock-off actually does come by every now and again. He gets along with Seraphim Eclipse, occasionally helping out with cleaning up and Seraphim gives him some advice on how to better approach people in his own world.

...he may have given Forky a dagger, just in case he needs to defend himself from the crappy people in his world...

-In spite of his deep, uncalled for, hatred of Sun/Moon/Eclipse, that hate doesn't translate into a hatred for ALL variants of them. He will be quite friendly to other versions, probably to the point he might even befriend a few of them.

-

Arc Bloodmoon - He is quite fond of videogames and it's one of the few things that can get him to stay still in one place for any extended periods of time.

-His favorite game series is DOOM and he has played every single one and even owns actual classic arcade machines for the original games as well as the ported versions.

-Doomguy is his hero and he has cosplayed as him.

-The irony is that in spite of loving those games so much he is actually terrible with using guns. The reality is his second personality is actually handling the controls.

-Aside from videogames, he also loves gardening and over the interdimensional trips he has taken multiple samples of some plants to grow in a massive greenhouse on the property.

-His favorite plants are roses.

-In fact as he works on his roses he will often select one that he deems perfect and give it to Twila. As she adores roses too.

-

Cherubim Lunar- A lot like Canon Lunar, he tends to feel that he isn't taken seriously by his siblings. As his older siblings do tend to baby him a lot.

-One such example is when something inappropriate occurs both Bloodmoon and Eclipse instinctively cover his eyes... Which he usually just pouts about because he isn't actually a child.

-Occasionally he will sit with his brothers on the roof of the Pizzaplex and they will all just stargaze.

-Lunar has floated the idea of building a planetarium-esqe area to the Pizzaplex which would be powered by his magic.

-Given that his brothers each have weapons of their own, he has been secretly trying to find a weapon that he could use. Unfortunately this has been a little... Disastrous.

-One such disaster involved three shuriken and a naginata...

-...They spent 5 hours trying to remove the stuck weapons from their version of Monty, who had been 'Helping' Lunar.

Musing on my project

When I made my Moon cosplay I drove myself nuts trying to make it as accurate as possible. It was way over-engineered and I had to removes a lot of hardware from the original version of the head just to get it balanced and wearable. The casing is rigid foam and I can't get it completely on without help. Granted it's impressive. I love the glowing eyes and the extended fingers. It'd certainly make anyone scared of clowns VERY UNEASY.

But I'm taking a totally different tack with Eclipse. It needs to be light and easy to get into and out of. It needs to stretch and breathe. It's not an accurate to TSAMS Eclipse. It's more a cartoonish caricature of how I write him. And the materials are soft and play more to my normal skillset. [I'm gonna look partly like Monty got me with his plushie beam.] But it's got one thing that Moon's does not.

Its gonna be so fucking cunty.

I'm blaming the opera gloves I used for the base of the hands and arm casings. And his perfect little metal claws made out of cherry-red aluminum chainmail scales.

Every single pair of sunglasses I've reverse searched from pictures of David Tennant are over $400 why are they all so beautiful and why does god hate me

these are beautiful and perfect. They are probably Rigards but miiiight be altered Miu Miu? I love everything about these. Pink ✅ Round✅ Sparkles✅ Impossible to find or afford✅

I won't swear it in court, but I'm pretty sure these are Loree Rodkins and I'm so angry; they would look so good on my face. Maybe. I'll never know!! they usually run around $600.

These are definitely Rigards and they are out of stock everywhere except one site trying to get $500 for them. Average seemed to be low 400s. I need these like air and I'm doomed to suffocate. The green and purple! The art deco side shields! WHY MUST I SUFFER

These are Valentinos. Not my personal fave of the Classic Crowley side shields but that's ok, they are £250 if you can even find em. If you love these the best and also have the Sunglasses Disease, Magnoli Clothiers makes a more reasonably priced dupe with the screws and everything for around $125.

Sorry! It's a great view though! Rigards Stone Eclipse! Same price as the Heaven look. The black side shields and perfect shape ugh I love these even though it would just be too obvious cosplay.

There's someone out there asking the internet for these so I would be remiss to not include them. Also, don't want to end on that gif haha. These are almost certainly Oliver Peoples, they don't look great on David's face, and I will accept them as a gift from him as a favour. They're in the $500 range, but if you love them desperately you can find somewhat decent dupes made by a midrange company, Meller, the Nyasa line. They aren't as nice though.

I'm going to stop here* (ok I added one more!!) I'm mildly embarrassed by how many photos of this man wearing sunglasses I've saved and how many hours I've spent looking them up/staring at sunglasses/contemplating my life choices. But here you go I guess 😎

Assigning each Loona member with an anime, Part 1

Hello, long time no see! Since LООПΔ is giving us a comeback (and I adore them), I thought I’d return with something for them :)

DISCLAIMER: These are only anime that I’ve seen, so if you think an anime fits a member better than the one I chose, let me know!

Heejin- Cowboy Bebop

Like the quote below suggests, she’s a strong woman that’s kicked ass the longest in the group! I felt like an action anime would fit Heejin well, and Cowboy Bebop is regarded often as one of the greatest in that genre. It’s had a huge influence in pop culture internationally, and can visually be recognized easily, just like our beautiful center!

Hyunjin- The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

I promise I’m not just giving one of my top 3 anime to my bias lol. Simply, the humor in Saiki K fits her so well. What I love most about Hyunjin is her unique and charming personality; I love the same things about this anime. I don’t watch comedy anime often, but I absolutely fell in love with this one, and I always find myself going back to it. Also, Hyunjin probably has a glow IRL like Teruhashi does bc she’s gorgeous.

Haseul- Your Name

First off, imagine how well “Let me in” would fit into this movie. Like omg, what a beautiful solo with a beautiful anime. Anyway, Haseul deserves a strong, stunning, incredible movie like Your Name. She’s a fantastic leader who has gone through a lot in her career, and has to carry a huge group on her shoulders. This anime is gorgeous yet devastating, set the bar HIGH for romance movies (in my opinion), and made a large impact on many people. Haseul is insanely important to loona as a group, and we don’t know what we’d do without her.

Yeojin- Hunter x Hunter

I am so dead set on this one, no one can convince me otherwise. It’s just perfect for our fun-loving and talented maknae! One thing that really drove me to pick this one was that, like Yeojin, Gon and Killua clearly mature and grow throughout Hunter x Hunter. Given that she’s the youngest member, we’ve gotten to see her turn into a beautiful young woman who never fails to impress me when she’s on stage (like honestly, she’s so underrated come on). Similarly, the main characters in this anime are constantly growing and learning and have been through way too much as children kinda like how Yeojin lost her childhood.

ViVi- Wonder Egg Priority

This anime deserved better. You know who else deserves better? WONG KAHEI FROM LOONA!!! I cannot think about Wonder Egg Priority without remembering its god awful ending, just like how I constantly think about my BIAS NOT GETTING ANY SCREEN TIME OR LINES!!! “Jokes” aside, the little we got from WEP was visually stunning, tragic, and incredible. On top of that, the main girls have it ROUGH; like, this anime is genus only hard to watch sometimes. Need I remind y’all that Vivi arguably had the hardest training period, having released a full Korean solo while STILL LEARNING KOREAN? No one is doing it like her.

Kim Lip- Demon Slayer

I will not lie, Kim Lip was the hardest to give an anime to. I tossed Demon Slayer around to a few members, but I chose it for her due to the impact that both have. I think a lot of orbits can agree with me that Kim Lip single-handedly helped the group rise to fame. A song with NASA? The phrase “Loona is for the gays” coming from Eclipse? Of course I’m giving her one of the most popular anime of our time. Eclipse fancams were as common on Twitter as Nezuko cosplays are at anime conventions. She’s an ace, she’s a great leader (don’t forget how her and Yves stepped up when Haseul was out), and she has a unique and infectious personality! Thank you for your service, Kim Lip.
