A/N:

Luca was the only one to have a natural birth. Ember, Ash, and Giulia were laid and hatched. He is also the only Koopa without a shell though if he had one I envisioned it being identical to a Blue Shell but with a different color palette.

Giving Luca a personality is much harder than sketching this boys hair 🙄.

Oh! And I also gave him a tail.

I guess the reason I’m having a problem figuring out his personality is because I’m split on two possible ideas for my AU. One will give Luca a survival mode personality while the other… will give him Jessica Rabbit vibes. (“I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way.” -Jessica Rabbit)

AU idea 1 - Mario is sent to the future and meets his future family. (Survival Mode Luca)

AU idea 2 - Mario is sent to another dimension where Luigi is female and meets the family that he will never have in his world. ( Jessica Rabbit vibes Luca)

Political Marriage TLDR

I won't go into too much detail in this post, I'll probably make a long post where I explain the story in full soon, for now I'll just go over the basics. Feel free to ask about anything in my ask box if you're curious about any aspect of it though!

Political Marriage is an au where, you guessed it, there is a political marriage in between Ludwig Von Koopa and a parakoopa oc ("That's rather cringe innit bruv" I know ;;^;;) named Celest.

The arrangement is set in place to prevent a war between their two kingdoms(Dark Land and a floating nomad cloud kingdom mostly populated by parakoopas and other flying species), strengthen military alliances and resources. Ludwig is forced into this by Bowser whilst Celest takes one for the team to protect her mothers’s (two other characters I'll explain later) kingdom.

Neither of them are truly thrilled with the idea of this, as their vastly different cultures, viewpoints, and personalities clash with one another, but they slowly warm up to each other and actually develop a relationship by the end of things.

In the meantime though, the slow burn is real and Ludwig despises Celest + the whole situation he is in, whilst Celest tries to find the bright in it all, but even her patience runs thin with him during this.

I'd like to extend a sincere apology to my friend @thecrypticshyguy that for the past few months has been caged in hell with me in various calls and art sessions of me rambling about this.

Happy Valentine's Day! I don't have a drawing, but do know that it's chocolate chaos in Bowser's Castle right now lol.

Suzuka drew Ludwig a sketch of him and gave him homemade sachertorte (adorned with a rose teehee), which Ludwig absolutely adored. Ludwig gave Suzuka a GIANT pile of konpeitō (his favorite little candies) and chocolates he had the castle chefs make lmao, as well as an entire day of cuddles, heartfelt piano sessions, and sappy words. :,3

Wendy asked Pom Pom to hang out like gal pals. Like total gal pals who do normal gal pal things like go to the fair and sit really close on the ferris wheel and-

Morton baked chocolate cakes for everyone... And actually did a good job??

Iggy and Lemmy made heartfelt pranks... But made up for it by giving everyone little trinkets they thought they would like (and hugs!)

Roy acted grumpy and careless all day: "None of that sappy crap!" ... But secretly really appreciated getting chocolates and candies from his siblings. Maybe some confections will come in return when they least expect it...

Larry, being the 9 year old he is, was absolutely insane all day from all that sugar. He was zooming up and down the halls, crash-hugging anyone who got in the way.

Junior was showered with gifts galore from his papa, of course. He shared some of it with the Koopalings, pretending like he was told to instead of doing it on his own accord.

Kamek gave everyone little cards that said what he appreciated most about them, along with a little chocolate. He was a very happy "grandpa" watching over everyone today :,3

And Bowser... Well, I'm sure you can imagine his attempts to Peach. He may have also gotten a little valentine from Luigi to try and make him feel better, which certainly stirred the fire within him...
