The illustration is an aged up redraw of the cover page from a Nintendo magazine that came out in the 90s: "Adventures of the Super Mario Bros: Bowser Knows Best"
I started drawing this two years ago, but with the sudden illness and death of my six years old cat Merlina, I lost all motivation to draw for about a year and a half. Recently, I had to take some days off job because I was sick, and suddenly found myself returning to this piece and not letting go of it until I saw it finished.
The quality looks a bit wonky in places because my phone is quite old by now, so the camera resolution os not good at all. I might eventually reupload the picture when I have access to a better camera or scanner ♥

finals for my art class!!!! Top one is charcoal for my drawing class the bottom two are prints for my design class!!!
ill ramble under the cut ofc
OK SO FIRST ONE was open prompt we can do whatever. Been working on redesigning ocs in the background so i had Layla on the mind
THE LAST TWO we had to make two for the final. Also open prompt (including materials) so i went crazy with block printing cus i LOVE that shit. So much so i have several prints i wanna do but not enough time i will get to them eventually!!!! here ill show you the wips i suppose!!
ok this was another thing for design but i like it so much i plan to print it
ok the iggy one is from a thumbnail from me trying to figure out my finals. Wasnt gonna do it for class but i also liked it very much. It takes priority on my “to print” list
totk one!!!! i dont know if ill ever get around to this one tbh bc im over zelda hyperfixation but its neat. From September
AND FINALLY ocs!! left is layla(remi) on the right is agnes. These are from last may so if i were to print them id definitely rework them!!

The First Kiss
Mercury had been rambling about the Star Festival for a while now. She wouldn't shut her mouth about it ever since she began feeling comfortable around Ludwig and the others. She waited this moment since she was a child, it was a dream of hers, counting the days until this precious day would come.
The night of the Star Festival, Mercury had been ordered to stay up all night and guard the koopa castle while, and this until Bowser would come back from his "crazy space plan", like the other soldiers would call it. Mercury was pretty bumped out about this because this would mean she would miss the Star Festival.
Ludwig knew how much this event meant to Mercury and took this night as an opportunity to bring her to a surprise date. He eventually dismissed Mercury from her duties and escorted her outside so she could witness the festival. Then, later during the night, Ludwig brought her to the Sky Lands, which is where he will finally confess to her...
This... marking the start and becoming one of the most memorable moments of their relationship
