I have been very ded. So have this-

It's a science homework that I had to rush, but it's pretty okay compared to my other stuff. Oh and the girl to the bottom left corner is @bruhstation casa tidmouth Rosie (It was supposed to be Charles from Henry Stickmin, but I already used him in the first frame-) anyways. Redesigning my old future Omori au, basically where sunny leaves after the good ending and moves into a town with all kinda of other rpg characters all in a universe and madotsuki(Mado for short) is his step sister now because his father just up and left after mari died. Mado’s a lot more mischievous and less…vessel like.

There’s the dreemur twins and their older brothers(yes this is partially an undertale human au) and a breakfast shop/cafe run by a kid who goes by Neko and their mom, and the local baseball team with their star player mr. Battler and a weird kid named ness, just to name a few people in the new town.

4 years pass after he moves and sunny doesn’t want to remember his old town. He’s got his sister and his new friends. Then he gets a phone call. It’s from Kel and basil. It’s his old friend group, and they want to come over. Oh Crud.

Four Teams Focused on Games

I’ve got about an hour before I have to leave for work, so let’s make another lore post about some Teams. Just another reminder that the two ships on a team will not be in a bracket together, they will be sent to the opposite sides of the tournament and will only have a chance to go against each other if they make it to the finals.

This time around, it’s...well, teams focused on video games. We have a lot of teams like that, but I’m avoiding any ships with Smash characters this time around for the sake of organization (I’ll likely slap those in their own post later), and Megaman and Pit will probably go somewhere else as well. Where they’ll go, I’ll decide later. But for now:

Team Hearts And Friendship Game:

Aqua/Cinderella Sora/Jim Hawkins

Pretty straightforward; they feature a main character from Kingdom Hearts alongside a Disney character. Ironically, Jim is the only one here who has yet to actually be in a Kingdom Hearts game (but maybe one day~). I dunno who submitted Aqua and Cinderella, but they’re so real for it.

As for Jim and Sora, that one was an automatic-in from yours truly. They’re just adorable and I’ve seen a lot of art of them that warms my heart (teehee, heart). Maybe one day Sora will actually get yet another significant other in the form of Jim in canon, but for now, t’is but a fan dream.

Team Anime Boys:

Floyd Leech/Kanata Shinkai Kokichi Ouma/Venti

Gonna be completely honest, this one and the next one were mostly based on vibes, as I know next to nothing about any of the games these boys are from, outside of the Danganronpa series. And I’d be lying if I said Kokichi was one of my favorites. I like him fine, he’s a fun little bastard. But there’s something that just keeps him from being completely hyped about him as a lot of other people get. (Maybe it’s the thing he does in Chapter 4 to my favorite character in the franchise or something 🤔) (It’s not that, I promise, but I’m still sad about it).

That being said, I do know of Twisted Wonderland and Genshin Impact. Ensemble Stars is a total mystery to me, but I know it’s a game so there you go! Either way, the team is composed of a lot of anime boys that I’m sure are gonna get a lot of support!

Also just a fun little fact; Kokichi is participating over in the Nonship tournament alongside Bill Cipher (yet another submission by yours truly). I’m sure nothing bad will come of that friendship! 🙂 

Although with the younger Pines Twins being in two ships each, I’m sure we’re bound to spot that triangle bastard sneaking around over here at some points to cause trouble. Especially if a couple of his former Sexyman Tournament Competitors are lingering in the background of things to support someone in this tournament. They probably have much kinder intentions than him, though.

Team Video Game Men:

Alex Mercer/Desmond Miles Beastman/Lifeweaver

Once again, based on vibes as I know next to nothing about these franchises. Also I realize Beastman isn’t technically a video game man (pretty sure he’s not, but for all I know, there could be a He-Man game with him out there somewhere), but with the remaining three all being from games, I still felt the name was fitting enough.

I will give some credit to Beastman/Lifeweaver, it was one of the most submitted ships out of all 150 submissions. Dunno if it was the same person who submitted it that many times, or if they got their friends involved, but I’m so pleasantly surprised by all the support and propaganda it’s been receiving since submissions closed. It’s making me hope they get pretty far in the tournament just on hype and love from a select few alone!

Or maybe it’s one of those super popular ships that I had no idea was popular until a thousand people crawl out of the woodworks to show up for it. We’ll have to see!

Team Andrew Hussie to Toby Fox Pipeline:

Anne Boonchuy/Nepeta Leijon Reagan Ridley/Toriel Dreemur

I’m very funny for that name, but also I’ve been a fan of both creators for years now, so I’m a bit biased towards any ship with a character from either franchise. Especially Nepeta, who happens to be my favorite Homestuck character. Toriel...not as high on my list of favorite Undertale characters, but I do like her regardless! Hard not to love Goat Mom (even if you much prefer a certain Goat Dad yourself 😉)

I know less about Inside Out and Amphibia, but both look like pretty enjoyable cartoons that I know I’ll have to check out one of these days. And I know both girlies from each ship look like pretty enjoyable characters (Anne gets points in my book for being voiced by Miss London Tipton herself).

So I know I’m gonna have a soft spot for this team in particular, and I’m hoping they manage to make it far in the tournament!

Speaking of Undertale, however, I do wonder if that means a certain someone (someone who did get submitted a few times in ships of his own, but were inevitably rejected due to the fear of him sweeping the tournament) will make an appearance at some point. Especially with how this tournament has both a Danganronpa character and a Mob Psycho 100 character.

Wonder if that means those who were submitted alongside him will also appear? ...Honestly, no promises but we’ll see what happens.

Just had the funniest fucking idea for a Deltarune AU.

I call it "Two Toriels" and the main difference from canon is that Toriel has an identical twin sister name Torealle that nobody outside the Dreemur family can tell from Toriel.

Torealle has 2 human children, Frisk and Chara, who Kris usually ends up babysitting whenever they visit. They aren't adopted however, as Torealle is married to their birth mother, Sandra.

Sandra looks scarily similar to Sans; but Torealle think Sans is ugly and lame while viewing Sandra as a modern day Aphrodite.

Kalla and Jill are the twins little brothers of Emil oh and between them it's not their soul, it's just for show that they are boys but in a funny/cute way. Anyway, here they are, more info later

I have a question: your Chara is very chill about all of this, far too calm (this is very suspicious) I know they are hiding some angst and trauma behind that calm exterior, like they should be somewhat freaked out about being in this world right? Also I know they will figure out that the Dreemurs are happy in this and that Asriel is all grown up because they were not living with them. Also from other undertale comics that are already going for a long period of time things cannot be all sunshine and rainbows shit has to hit the fan at some point, trauma and angst has to run wild. (also whenever a Chara appears in a story one cannot include angst and trauma it would be a crime)

It is very hard to fit trauma and angst into a four panel comic. Especially one that is primarily focused on comedy. I think there are better and more serious comics out there that can tackle that kinda stuff better than Twin Runes ever could. There IS an overarching storyline and there haven't been many chances for the characters to reveal things about themselves (but there will be). Chara has gone through quite some shit and it will be brought up. Especially with what I have planned. But it won't have much to do with the Deltarune Dreemurrs *cough* Anyways Chara's deal in this series especially is boredom. They have seen Frisk go through the same crap over any over time and time again. This new development of the parallel dimension excites them. They are a lot more aware of this whole setup than any of the other characters and that is something I wanna bring up later.

Actually a lot of the asks I have received and not answered are specifically things that WILL be brought up later. I just don't wanna take away the impact of future revelations. So yeah, TLDR sit back and watch the chaos unfold.

I actually WAS going to say Digimon but I don't know how well known Digimon is on tumblr, they were equally cool when I was a kid but who knows...

Funnily enough I just watched the first episodes of Digimon last night (1990s and the new 2020 reboot) the dub was a mess from the start they described a landslide/flood as being like chocolate milk within the first 2 sentancss like oh my GOD. Its so weird. That dub is wild. The new show takes itself seriously and more grandeous (not sure if there's a English dub tho, so I can't compare) which I like.

Both have their strengths, I like the design of the digital world we see in the old one more. Watercolor backgrounds... so nice... the new one has a bigger budget and more established worldbuilding pre-written so it feels more coherent and modern, but the original is also just a fun, low-stakes silly kid's adventure show. I'll have to watch more of the new but there was a distinct lack of jokes. (Maybe the dub added in humor?)

But yeah watching them both is why I thought to make this post today. My favorite ABSOLUTE favorite is terriermon and lopmon

The Digimon movie is a frickin mess in a billion ways but it's nostalgia and camp is fantastic to rewatch (last rewatched it 2 years ago) and I loved terriermon back as a kid too, I had a toy and I'd cry over his lost twin and the reincarnation stuff really stuck with me. You can see this influence on Feylow actually (long ears especially) and my love of the devoted sibling tragedy trope

Anyway Digimon is good.

Look at him. Why he got pants. Its so stupid. He has guns for arms. Stupid as hell. Love it to death.

(Hey, that lake East of Hometown has to be good for a dive or two hundred, right?)

Fins: Force Fins custom made in their clothes' colors and with the Heart icon engraved on their flipper parts.

Tank, Dive Jacket and Utility Weight Belt: Custom made, Royal Guard special air tank, dive jacket and utility weight belt in their clothes' colors. Featuring 2 regulators (Main and Emergency Integrated), air gauge and buoyancy control inflator with integrated emergency regulator in their clothes' colors and with the Heart icon printed on its second stage. Utility weight belt has a strap for emergency rebreather.

About two years after the twins were born, Kris and Susie reconnected with an old friend of there's through the local cafe. Noelle had been in a tough spot since after school. Her father had survived the illness he had, but had permanently weakened making it hard for him to move around for long periods of time, she struggled to help take care of him with her minimum wage jobs as a teacher's assistant and a part time job as a waitress at the local diner. On top of that, she had been in a once unhappy relationship with Berdly for sometime before meeting old faces. She was delighted to see her old friends with their two children, but was surprised to see a third partner with them. The four spent time catching up like old times but eventually parted ways. During the next year, the four (or usually just Noelle and Kris and Sometimes Susie) would have small greetings and meet ups in the diner and start to be come close friends again. But Noelle was having a harder time keeping her life together. Her father had to be moved to live with a few distant relatives because of the strain her financial situation was. The strain of working two jobs had taken a toll on her and she was about ready to just quit. When she got an unexpected visit from an old friend, Kris. The two talked for a while and decided to help her find a job elsewhere. It helps for a little bit when she starts working at the library full time, but overdue bills catch up to her and she was forced to foreclose her home and temporary move in with a friend.Noelle had always been a timid push over, so this was just was the end result of it. Now being homeless and a minimum wage job, there wasn't much hope for her. But things did look up when Kris offered her a special job at his home. Reluctantly she agreed, and Kris led them to the school and through the closet door. Noelle was pretty shocked when they were basically teleported to a whole different world, but Kris was quick to reassure her and take her to the palace where she was met his partners and children. It as....strange being in a darkland with strange creatures and such, but she shouldn't complain with her new position. Right? During her time there, she reconnected with her old classmates and was surprised to find out her feelings for Susie hadn't gone away. But she already had two husbands and children. There was no way she could be interested in her, right? Well, when Susie did find out, she was surprisingly ok with it. She was in a polygamy relationship after all, but she had to get the ok with her other two partners. Ralsei was a little confused at first but did agree with Kris to let them work it out. After trying to get to know Ralsei and Kris a little better, they all become closer slowly but surely. Ralsei she found out is very similar to her personality wise and morals, and Kris is still the goof ball kid that used to hide under her bed to scare her. The four eventually start to go on outings together and spending more time as a family. Merry was born the same way the twins were. By Ralsei weaving a soul from magic using their DNA but was birthed by Mother Noelle. Her name is a pun on the term Merry Christmas from Noelle's side of the family and has both Noelle's and Kris's last names. Merry is the youngest of the royal children of the two Darkland kingdoms, and the most skittish of the three siblings. Merry refers to Noelle as Mother, Susie as Mama, Kris as Daddy, and Ralsei as Papa. While she takes after Noelle figure wise, her personality is mostly Ralsei's with a sense of justice. She's a soft spoken child as Kris was and usually won't speak unless spoken too. At five years old, she's pretty smart for her age but usually keeps to herself. Like her siblings, she can summon a weapon but it's a sword like Kris. Relatonships:   Azzy: She's closer to her brother than her sister because they're similar personality wise and both have similar struggles with magic. They often study together and help each other out with their magic lessons. Kristy: Quiet just like her, she's her protector often following around her and Azzy and keeping them from trouble. Her temper does scare her from time to time though and she wishes she'd be less forceful. Kris: Best Human ever. Like the twins, Merry has no idea Kris was adopted by the Dreemur family and as she's part goat, doesn't know why he doesn't look like the rest of his family. He's soft spoken like her and often takes him to visit their grandparents and Uncle Asriel in the lightner world. Susie: She's Mama to Merry and the most protective of her other than Kristy. She likes to try to teach her how to fight to protect herself but usually there practices turn into playfights. When on the surface, Susie will often steer her and her siblings clear of certain parts of the town for 'reasons'. Noelle: Mother dearest. Best mother she could ask for. She makes the best holiday cookies and often baby's the children and spoils them much to Susie's protest. Though she will sometimes cry when she takes her to visit her grandpa on her side for some reason. Ralsei: Floof Dad. She loves to snuggle up to her fluffy daddy when tired and listen to his stories of the old Darkner history and eat all the baked goods he and Noelle made together. He's the closest to her out of her four parents and the one to share her values of Mercy and kindness. Toriel: Her grandmother is an older more motherly/fluffy version of Papa Ralsei. She loves it when Kris or Susie takes them to visit her grandparents for Thanksgiving or Christmas. (Though As gore is her favorite grandparent.) Asgore: Best grandpa in the world. He's a bit of a push over and she wishes he'd sometimes grow more of a backbone, but he gives the best hugs and she loves to see all the pretty flowers in his big garden. Mr. Hoiday: Merry doesn't get to see her sick grandpa much, but when she does he likes to tell embarrassing stories about her mother and is cheerful. J.K.: The strange Imp boy loves to make her smile and is a blast to be around. His energy and tricks always manage to make her smile. Pearlescent: The deer monster was the one who made her and her siblings crowns. She doesn't see her often but when she does, she likes to hang out with her as they are both deer monsters and Pearlie makes very beautiful objects. King Lancer: since Lancer is good friends with her parents, they sometimes see each other when they visit his kingdom. The giant spade can come off as intimidating, but is actually very down to earth with kids. He often gives them kindly advice on magic and their kingdom, but sometimes he can get a little too into his splat noises.
