Draven X Reader Headcanons

Draven has always been confident in himself, since he was a child, and he has always sought out those who can match that energy. He surrounds himself in those who will sing his praises, and challenges anyone who questions his right to fame, but surprisingly, he grew attached to you; someone who had just as much confidence in yourself as he does.

He thought you were another arrogant combatant in the arena, laughing at the smirk he saw on your face as you laced up your boots in the armory.

But he was shocked, when you actually fought, that you were just as good as you thought you were. He still beat you, but unlike his other victims, he offered you a hand up as you lay bloody and beaten.

He offered to buy you a drink afterwards, exchanging fighting tips, offering to spar, and being pleasantly surprised once more when you managed to both sing his praises while building yourself up. He found it attractive; someone like him.

From then on, you sparred together, training all hours of the day. When you weren’t training or in the arena, you found yourself accompanying him to the banquets and parties that he attended. Despite the important guests there, Draven never found a need to “act proper”, nearly getting the two of you in trouble with many Noxian officials on more than one occasion.

But the more time you spent with him, the more you grew to adore his rowdy personality. He loved being praised, adored, being told how stunning he was. While all that bravado was real, he put it on a little more in public than in private. When you were alone, you noticed that his cheek would twitch when you complimented; the tiniest little slip of his mask; it felt like it really meant something when it was coming from you.

He didn’t like to let this mask slip, but he would do it for you, sometimes. You could notice it when you caressed his face, or said something sweet about him when you weren’t thinking about it. That cheek twitch, a slight softness to his gaze for a split second, would tell you that his heart skipped a beat.

Still the ever confident performer, he was really fast with courting you. Everyone likes him, everyone loves him, so surely you did too, right? He started introducing you as his partner without any formal discussion after you’d spent enough time together. He liked you, you liked him, it was simple from his perspective. If you asked to talk about it, he’d be confused.

“You want to be with me right? I want to be with you, what’s there to talk about?” And he’d scoop you up, showing you off like one of his many trophies.

• He will gently stroke your back, watching your actions while you carefully and intently cleaned up excess blood.

• "Come on, my rose, one kiss and I'll be fine," he says with a smile. You roll your eyes, but obey and kiss him on the forehead. Eric closes his eyes contentedly, leaning towards your touch.

• Perhaps it could be a little harmful. Eric sees how you want to help him, so he calls you for all sorts of trifles. Give him a little massage, feed him, help him change his clothes and all that. If you want to play nurse so badly, he'll let you.

• He really relies on you at this time, you are his personal guardian angel.

• Eric tells you that the best cure for pain is your kisses, so when he's hurt, he'll reach for your touch like a kitten.

• Now he doesn't hug you at night, but you hug him. It was his time to be a little spoon.

It's rare for nights like these to occur

But when they do, Eric knows you'll be there for him no matter what

Tonight was incredibly difficult

Eric did all he could to save a young teen from the hands of a dangerous gang

However, one slipped from his grasp and managed to take the kid's life, leaving Eric absolutely devastated

He managed to rid the city of the rest of the gang, but the guilt of not being fast enough for the boy made Eric's heart hurt

When he came home, you immediately knew something was wrong

His head hung low, and he remained completely silent

When he sat beside you on the bed, you immediately wrapped your arms around him

"Do you want to talk about it?"

He was silent for a moment before slowly shaking his head

"Not yet," his voice cracked

You could see a few tears spill from his eyes

You stayed there and continued to hold him, your hand running along the expanse of his back

He eventually laid down fully on the bed, gaze fixated on the ceiling

You took this opportunity to make some tea for him, knowing the warmth always helped relax him

You wiggled yourself behind him as he sipped on the drink, his breaths finally slowing

As he leaned into you, your fingers combed through his hair

You began to hum quietly to him, his favorite song echoing in his ears

It was only after all of this that his eyes finally closed

"I love you" he spoke, barely above a whisper

"I love you too, Eric. I'll always be here for you"

• Eric would be very curious when he first sees you, especially if you’re in different circumstances than the average person. He can see that something is wrong, so when he’s not busy he’ll watch over you until he can figure out what that is.

• After realising your situation, Eric immediately tries to reach out to you when you’re alone. No matter how short the timing of this may be. He can see you’re struggling and wants to send you a message to hang on for a little bit longer and to not be scared when he finally intervenes.

• If he begins to care about you deeply then he’ll try his best to meet you without scaring you away, but he’s fully aware that this is a hard task due to the way people see him. He has a comforting nature to him, so as soon as you see him for the first time you know that he isn’t as terrifying as he looks.

• Giving you help would be incredibly satisfying for Eric, especially as he’s had some time in leading up to this moment of justice. Depending on how terribly he treat you, Eric will deliver to this guy the pain he caused you but a thousand times worse.

I headcanon that Eric never died at the end of the film, he’s basically like Batman and watches over Detroit in order to remove criminals, permanently, and keep the city safe. So in my future writings, the ending of him dying never happened.

Dating Eric Draven HCs

You met him when you were being harassed by a wanted criminal in an alleyway. During one of his patrols around the city, he found you and proceeded to rescue you with his regular methods, essentially he brutally killed the guy.

When he got a closer look at you, he was absolutely captivated. Not only was it your beauty that captured his attention, but the lack of fear and extreme gratefulness you expressed despite what he did and how he looks.

He took it upon himself to walk you home, in order to make sure you got there safely and without further trouble.

After that night, he became obsessed.

He took it upon himself to look after you, mainly because he was curious about you and the feelings you made him feel. Things he hasn’t felt since he lost Shelly.

When he starts dating you, watching over you doesn’t stop, it honestly gets worse. He is very protective over the things he cares about and he cannot allow anything to happen to you. You were his new reason for happiness.

His favorite nicknames for you would include; my love, princess/prince/princex, and sweetheart. He is the type of boyfriend that would give you such sweet nicknames because you gave him a second chance at happiness and he appreciates you so much.

Whenever he’s patrolling around the city, he will send his crow to watch over you in various shifts.

His crow absolutely adores you, it’ll hang out on your shoulder like a feathered guardian while you’re doing anything.

Being who he is, he is bound to have enemies that would want to bring him down and they will definitely try. In order to bring him down, they would have to bring you down first.

If you ever get kidnapped or hurt in the process, Eric will not hesitate in going after you in a fit of possessed rage and slaughtering whoever it was that touched you, let alone harm you.

Afterwards, his protectiveness would double.

When your relationship has already deepened, you end up living with him in the flat that he resides in. You helped fix up the place and had assistance which made him feel like his old self for a while.

The two of you spend time laying on the floor surrounded by albums and listening to music. Sometimes he’ll let you play some of his old albums he made with his band but he’ll eventually need a break because he starts thinking about the past.

Some nights, Eric takes you to the roof of his flat and plays his guitar for you, he even wrote a few songs in honor of you and it honestly made you emotional cause the music was so touching and special.

That doesn’t stop you from asking him to absolutely shred it on his guitar, he’s so talented, you love it when he plays around you.

He’s very affectionate and his favorite thing is having you on his lap with his ear against your chest, he loves listening to your heartbeat. It keeps him grounded and reminds him that you’re still with him.

Therefore, whenever his mental health goes downhill, pulling him against you and holding him helps him majorly. He’ll grip you tight and press his face against your neck.

He absolutely loves kissing you and his kisses are so sweet and full of passion. Whenever he wants to kiss you, he will cup your face, his thumbs stroking your cheeks before he pulls your lips against his.

Whenever his makeup starts coming off or fading, you help redo it for him, sitting on his lap while he has an arm around your waist.

Eric would never use his powers on you, especially the one that allows him to look through your memories. He respects your privacy and would only do it if you allowed him to when you couldn't get the words out.

He’s a really good listener so whenever you’re feeling down, he’ll hold you and tell you that everything is going to be okay.

When you can’t get the words out or explain clearly what happened, that’s when Eric would use his powers. Only with your permission though, he doesn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable.

Sometimes you forget that he can heal so when he comes home with literal bullet holes and stab wounds, you totally don’t freak out.

More Kallus headcanons because I can

His facial hair is absurdly strong; if he shaves in the morning, he’ll have noticeable stubble by the evening. In order to maintain his clean Imperial look, he tends to shave twice a day.

For all his war experience, his mind is actually surprisingly innocent in the sense of not dirty at all. Once he joins the Rebellion, the Ghost crew has a field day with this, and it becomes a running game between Ezra and Sabine (and Kanan and Hera, though they pretend otherwise) to make the most obvious innuendos that still fly right over his head. They’re usually about Zeb, who does recognise them for what it is, but is forced to keep quiet for his own and Kallus’s peace of mind.

Because of his preference of field work and taking direct command over the soldiers he leads, people tend to forget his seniority in Imperial ranks, and it’s often a shock to those around him when he pulls rank on them because he doesn’t do it often, preferring to let the admirals and governors squabble over bureaucracy while he gets actual results by getting his hands dirty.

This has gained him a lot of respect from low-level officers, who are not used to be looked at twice by someone of any significant rank, much less to have them lead in front. Senior officers however sometimes resent him for it; Admiral Konstantine for instance saw it as personal humiliation when Kallus pulled rank on him after he had gotten a bit too comfortable ordering the agent around.

When he joined the Rebellion, Rebel Command was stymied on what to do with him in the military. Considering his background as a defector, not to mention the war crimes he has committed, they couldn’t exactly have him start out in any sort of commanding position, but with his battle experience and strategic brilliance he had the capabilities the Rebellion desperately needed at its top. In the end the decision was made to have him become the Rebellion’s Thrawn: put in a relatively low position with all intention of having him shoot up quickly.

For all his commanding brilliance, he is a terrible instructor. He has no patience with the average minds of the Imperial cadets and ensigns, and even less with the ragtag volunteers of the Rebel Alliance. General Draven asked him exactly once to instruct a group of newly enlisted rebels, and never again.

Growing up his closest (and sometimes only) companions were droids, and as such he often feels more comfortable with them than with actual people. Droids love him because he takes them seriously, and has a tendency to repair or improve them when he can, even if he doesn’t need them right away.

Ever since defecting from the Empire he has difficulty thinking of the future, because he lost his whole personality with the action and now he has no idea what he even wants. He wants to bring down the Empire, but beyond that he has no clue, and it terrifies him whenever Zeb tries to bring it up. For Zeb, who lived on a relatively peaceful planet until the Empire had already risen, this is a difficult subject to navigate.

Having been at the centre of the war for almost his entire life, it’s the only thing he knows, and him and Rex bond over this, becoming good friends. Rex however does know what it’s like to leave the war behind by then, and he serves as an inspiration for Kallus in this. Especially when Ahsoka returns and they finally get to settle down together.

And a completely irrelevant headcanon based purely on that early concept art of him: he has a Chiss ancestor, but so far down the line that it’s not accessibly documented, and he doesn’t know.

Anyway, I finally got to this movie and watched it! Honestly? It was great. I really love such old atmospheric horror movies, just omg. So now I will try to state all my thoughts on this. I apologize in advance for the mistakes, English is not my native language.

• Eric is a very romantic person. Each of your dates would be thought out to the smallest detail, literally. If it's a night out at home, you could sit in his arms while he played one of his songs on the guitar. Or you could watch a movie in the living room, the choice, of course, would be yours. The lights are dimmed, and there are a lot of burning red and pink candles around; the air is filled with the pleasant aroma of roses that Eric gave you this morning; and the sofa around you is full of your favorite sweets and snacks.

• Talking about details, Eric would remember a lot of little things about his partner. I mean, starting from just the zodiac sign and ending with your favorite nail polish color. This person would be good at remembering different dates and, in principle, would treat you with tenderness.

• In his eyes, you are a fragile crystal that can crack at any moment from any inaccurate touch. Therefore, he values him very much, and sometimes literally takes care of him. The main thing is not to be angry with him for this, the boy just has a little trust problems, and he loves you so much.

• Eric is very caring and gentle. You can play with his hair, and then he will give you a relaxing massage if you had a hard day at school or work. He has really strong and skillful hands, it's not for nothing that he is a guitarist. These fingers can do a lot.

• You are always in safe. Literally. His raven follows you everywhere to help you if anything happens. Eric could not forgive himself for the death of another person dear to him.

• It might have been difficult for Eric to open up to you at the very beginning. He has survived a lot, and now he is literally immortal. But his heart is lonely and broken. Before his death, he saw such a horror that happened to his beloved, and now his existence is filled with gray colors. And then you show up. Like a ray of light in his dark life. And his heart seems to start beating again, and his brain is wildly babbling something about how soft your hair looks to the touch and how cute you smiled at that salesman in the store.

• There may be little aggression issue, but he will never hurt you, under any circumstances. He'll just mumble something under your nose and get mad at himself. Or he will go to the roof to play the guitar and calm down. But he will never hurt you. He will not let some little things separate you, destroy your trust. Therefore, he will smooth out all sorts of conflicts.

• During quarrels, he always tries to just talk to you. It's better to calmly hear each other's opinions and later just make your relationship even better, right?

• Constantly compliments you. He loves your eyes and your smell, so Eric can lie on your lap or on your chest for hours and cuddle while you gently touch his hair.

• Quite an active and emotional guy, so you will never get bored with him.

• Eric has a rather acute sense of justice, so he will not tolerate injustice towards you. Especially from yourself. If you have any complexes, the guy will try to prove to you that you are beautiful, absolutely and in everything.

• But he is not only gentle and caring, but also quite teasing. He likes to make you blush and look away in embarrassment. He likes to make you feel special. Because you're his treasure.

A/N: Eric only deserves the nicest things in life.

It may have taken a full week of begging on your part, but Eric finally gave in

It's nearly impossible to keep Eric inside during the night

His passion for fighting crime and preventing people from meeting the same fate as himself is so strong that he never wants to take a break from it all

But he also loves you dearly

So hearing your sad voice pleading him to finally just take one night to relax forced him to give in

In the end, your happiness will always be his number one priority

So when the night finally came around, you went all out

You ran a warm bath and added some flower petals in it, wanting the experience to be both relaxing and romantic for Eric

You also lit several candles, the dim glow creating the perfect atmosphere to relax in

With a little bit of music and some cuddles, you finally got Eric to hop in the tub with you, the water causing a noticeable difference in his body

He relaxed almost instantly, his eyes shutting at the sensation

You took this time to help wash him, slowly going over each tense muscle and massaging it, much to Eric's content

You also helped wash off the remains of yesterday's escapade, the face paint slowly melting off of his smooth skin

It's moments like this when you get to reflect on just how perfect this man is

He hums in appreciation

But he can only do this for so long before he's switching the roles, now massaging your body and pulling you into his frame

It just wouldn't feel right to take care of him without him returning the favor

Eric simply doesn't allow this

And even as the water begins to cool, you both cuddle into one another, taking this time to really appreciate having these moments together

Whether he admits it or not, this evening was exactly what he needed

It was the first time in a while where he actually felt content and not exhausted

You're the only one that can convince him to take time for himself, and that's exactly what Eric needs

• Once you become really close with him you call him endearing names like “Tesoro/Mi Tesoro” and “Luz de mi vida” and comment on his “Ojos de ángel” (Angel eyes). He finds you speaking Spanish adorable and asks you to teach him a few words.

• He totally pampers you and he has fun doing your makeup and he finds you pretty things while he’s out killing scumbags. Sometimes his crow flies to your window and taps on the glass with a small present for you.

• He loves your curves and every part of you. And yes, the sex is incredible. He’s extremely sensitive to your needs and always respects what you want and how you want it.

• He loves your cooking, especially the tres leches cake you made for his birthday. He tries his best to help out in the kitchen but is definitely better at just watching.

• You get him fresh clothes and stitch his ripped ones and use stain remover and hydrogen peroxide to get the blood out. He always apologizes for the shape his shirts are in, but you’re just happy it’s an excuse for him to take his shirt off. ;)

• Eric has moments of madness and crazed vengefulness but you can always calm him down. He loves you infinitely, and would never hurt you. He eventually opens up to you about how strange it is to hear voices in his head and be somewhat alive again.

• He’s memorized your favorite snacks and always reminds you to take care of yourself because you’re so worried about him sometimes you forget.

• You introduce him to your abuela, and she loves Eric and thinks he’s quite the gentleman and a perfect match for you.

• Eric will beat the crap out of anyone who calls you any racial slurs or anything degrading, whether it be about your Hispanic heritage or your weight.

• He writes you songs on his guitar and plays them for you when you’re feeling down.
