These are double-sided bookmarks printed on canvas, which has a nice texture and thickness and is tear-resistant.

Black dragonfish!

These deep sea fish go through a very drastic transformation as they mature: the adults that everyone is familiar with start out as tiny, slender, transparent larvae, with the most peculiar stalk-eyes! The cartilaginous stalks can be up to half of the whole larva's body length, and it is theorised that they help the young fish with predator avoidance and finding food. As the fish ages, its eyes are slowly pulled into the head, so to speak.

Sloane’s viperfish!

It has some of the biggest teeth proportionate to its body, about half of the size of its head! Its teeth are so big that when the fish closes its jaws, many of the teeth curve outside of the mouth instead of fitting inside, and to completely open its jaws to swallow prey whole it must unhinge its jaw and snap its head back. Its teeth are also transparent, to not be visible in the bioluminescent light it produces. It is thought that the daggerlike teeth are used to trap smaller prey, and to wound and hold on to larger prey.

based on astronesthes fish, also known as snaggletooths or stareaters, lure fish with bioluminiscent chin barbels and large needle like teeth. to make the stareater theme more apparent vorastro is also a black hole. as deep sea fish is hard to keep track but they have been found in the gulf of mexico before, they are also known as dragonfish and demonfish
