Desmond in the Uncharted games! Because I find it funny if he would meet Nathan, thanks to them having the same VA. Adios!

So, for this one, we’re going for the Uncharted series is part of the AC series because plot bunny just hit me right at the face.
And yes.
Nathan Drake is absolutely a descendant of the Auditore-Kenway line. (Spoilers to the Uncharted series), it’s heavily implied Nate isn’t really related to Francis Drake and we’ll make use of that setup.
The church Nate grew up in was actually a front of the Brotherhood. His family doesn’t have ties with the Brotherhood, not really, but Sam did learn of the Brotherhood during his stay in the orphanage and is recruited.
Now, Sam isn’t exactly loyal to the Creed. More often than not, he was more in it to get the skills necessary to survive. He kept it a secret from Nate though because he didn’t want him dealing with anything related to the Templars and the Assassins. To keep Nate away from the Templars and the Assassins, Sam tells Nate that they’re last name is Drake.
Samuel Morgan was an Assassin.
Sam Drake was Nathan Drake’s older brother.
So things happened…
Nate meets Sully while Sam was in prison (an undercover mission for the Brotherhood).
Later on, Nate joins Sam in adventuring but Sam keeps any thing connected to the Assassins and the Brotherhood away from Nate.
Sam is an Assassin who is only known by very few other Assassins but Nate has some inkling that something fishy was going on, he just wasn’t sure what it was.
There were specific artifacts that Sam wanted and was okay parting with more lucrative stuff just to get it.
But then…
They teamed up with Rafe…
Sam supposedly died…
Even in the eyes of the Brotherhood.
And that is how Samuel Morgan died and Sam Drake survived the Great Purge that would happen two years from his apparent death.

So we have different points in Uncharted that we can catapult Desmond to.
2008 – A 21 year old Desmond is employed by Elena Fisher as her cameraman as they join Nathan Drake in finding Francis Drake’s coffin. This ends with them being part of the whole quest for El Dorado (the corpse of which is an Isu that contracted some kind of deadly virus that is severely dangerous to humans but Desmond and Nate have immunity due to their Isu genes). In this one, Nate actually acts more like an older big brother to Desmond and Elena joked about how they sound a lot alike.
2010 – A 23 year old Desmond gets roped into Chloe and Harry’s plan with Nate because he’s been fired from Bad Weather due to an altercation and has been sidelining as a thief using the training he received from the Farm. He also may or may not have had a fling with Harry Flynn (according to Chloe) and Nate is absolutely questioning Desmond’s taste.
2012 – Desmond escaped Abstergo before the Assassins got him and he is absolutely suffering from Altaïr’s Bleeding Effect. It’s by chance that he is in Yemen at the same time Nate and Sully are there to meet up with Elena. Maybe you can even add in that Desmond used to be Elena’s cameraman for a bit. Anyway, he joins the group because he feels like he knows the Atlantis of Sands that they are looking for. To be more exact… his Bleed of Altaïr knows of it.
2015 – Desmond survived the Solar Flare and has been working for the Brotherhood. He’s tasked with looking into a man named Sam Drake because he sounded a lot like the late Samuel Morgan and they needed to check if he is (1) alive and (2) faked his own death because he was a Templar mole like Daniel Cross. He gets roped into the search of Avery’s treasure and ends up Bleeding as Edward more than once because Edward knows a bit about this supposed treasure.

And, just to be clear, Nate does not have the exact same ancestors as Desmond. He’s Haytham Kenway’s descendant from a fling he had in England so they have the same ancestors from the Auditore-Kenway line until Haytham Kenway.

Who will be seen in "Clone With A Lightsaber 1-2"?
These are pretty old and I haven't made any progress on them aside from some daydreaming in the past months, but I'm pretty sure that you'd put the figurative bug in my ear about clones with lightsabers as a concept, and then I quickly sketched out a few poses in the hopes that my momentum from those Rex pose studies will carry over to these ones but, well. You can see how that didn't happen ^^;
I was thinking of making them be Cody (because the one on the left looks very much like a slide that'd require a jetpack) and Wolffe, because I'm predictable like that. (and one more tangentially related under the cut just for you)

Also there is this one which is also part of the pack, but different and has its own file name, that also didn't get past the concept "don't forget you had this idea!!!" stage; but it is very much intended to become Rexwalker one of these days...
and this isn't even done yet, but I am also hopelessly captivated with the idea of drawing a companion piece to it with a much older Rex and Vader with a lot more animosity going on between them, and where they are a lot more in each other's faces, but where the "have you lost something, sir?" title would still apply (not just for whatever soul Vader may or may not have lost, but also because Rex would still hold on to Anakin's lightsaber... is it a different one to what Obi-wan passes on to Luke? Maybe. Maybe Anakin took even more after his old master and had lost his saber one too many times and Rex never had the opportunity to return it and now he just holds on to it in memory of his "dead" general? Don't ask too many questions, I just really love Rex with Anakin's lightsaber)

Thoughts on what If Mikako was Kokoyuri's Child?
(I assume this is the same anon, if not that's a real coincidence)
I love love that I seem to get a fair amount of asks about Yuri, but they're almost all anon. We all love the dork but no one wants to admit to it haha.
Under cut, spoilers for both games.
So like this was actually super hard, so if I'm way off I apologise.
So firstly, Mikako would look quite a lot different if Yuri was her father. As we know that Mikako's appearance takes a lot from her father's side, not Kokoro's (She has her father's hair and eye colour, her fathers height, and his fringe). So assuming that Yuri's chapter 6 design is canon, Mikako could remain being a tall queen. But she'd have Yuri's hair and eye colour.
(Changed the colour palette a little to contrast the lighter hair, but colour combos are hard so I'm sorry it's a mess)
That said, 5'1'' Mikako would be adorable too!
So let's talk about their home life. Since a lot will have to change there. The first is obvious, that Yuri would never allow any harm to come to his own daughter. So the experiments Kokoro does in canon aren’t happening to Mikako.
However, I don't believe the two of them would be winning any awards in parenthood. Mikako would be loved though, very outwardly by her father, and more reservedly by her mom.
Kokoro is harder to judge as a parent, because (I personally) believe that her treatment in chapter 0 was... weird. It's hard to gauge what kind of parent she would be if her partner had an actual backbone (idc what people say about Kokoro but Sojiro was equally responsible for what happened to Mikako). I'd like to think that with proper guidance she'd end up trying her best to be a better person and relate to others. That said, Yuri isn't exactly a perfect person himself, so there would likely be a fair amount of back and forth in misunderstanding.
I feel Yuri would be prone to spoil Mikako, but I think she'd be real honest with the both of them, as even if she did something wrong Yuri would be fine with that, and Kokoro would be more interested why she'd act out rather than disciplining her.
I wonder if Yuri's prejudice against men would rub off on her, if so she'd probably still be friends with Rei, but probably not Yamato or Tsurugi. She would definitely not bother with helping Tsurugi with his world views, as being a male she'd already have that prejudice and she'd likely believe that he would just be beyond redemption.
I think people like Rei and Kanata would scold her for this a bit. So like the rest of class 79b, she'd probably mellow out a little over the course of their time at HPA.
Her relationship with characters like Kizuna would be real interesting, since she'd want to believe girls are faultless, but experience with her mother would allow her to read people. Which would mean she'd see just how messed up Kizuna is. She'd probably work really hard to try to make her better.
She'd likely drop kick Mitsuhiro out of a 3rd story window. Man and she can see bad intentions? He wouldn't stand a chance.
So an interesting thing is, in DRA, Mikako is the one to convince Yamato to give Utsuro and Akane a chance after his initial suspicions. In this scenario it's unlikely that they're even friends, so Mikako wouldn't be the one Yamato confides in. He'd likely confide in Tsurugi instead, and I can't imagine either of them giving the despairs a chance or helping them escape on the day of the tragedy.
There's a chance that, on the day the rest of the class would pressure him into taking them, but it's interesting to think about. But it's cool to think that they could make it out without the two that would turn their safe space into a killing game.
If Yuri and Kokoro survive the tragedy, there's nothing on this Earth or beyond that would keep him from his daughter.
And ofc, without Kokoro's research and experiments on her daughter, the second game would turn out very differently.

If I remember correctly, even with its great power, the Divine Luck still has 3 weaknesses:
1: It can't make the impossible happen. LINUJ mentioned in Utsuro's character sheet that the Divine Luck can't do anything if the percentage of it happening is 0% flat, with Taira's body's state on SDRA2 being the biggest example. When the Divine Luck was passed to her, she had already died by her injuries and/or drowning, so the Divine Luck did the second best thing: Keeping her organs functional, but she wasn't really resurrected, being kept brain-dead instead.
2: Can't brainwash people. I'm just going to keep it simple: If he could mind controll people into thinking what he wants them to think, his parents wouldn't had abused him and his family wouldn't had fallen apart. Also, Sora flat out confirms this at the end of SDRA2's 6th trial.
3: The Divine Luck is tied to the user's wants and desires, wherever conscious or not. The clearest examples are Utsuro being unable to end his own life because of the Divine Luck giving more importance to his survival instincts than to his desire to die, and Alter Ego Kisaragi stopping the DRA's killing game because of fake Maeda unknowingly using the Divine Luck to make sure that the masterminds were defeated and the survivors could escape. Also, this is the reason why Enoshima got him as a Despair, also written in the character sheet: She just used her analytic talent to take a look at Utsuro's personality and planned his indoctrination into the Ultimate Despair all around it, to make sure the Divine Luck didn't acted against her.
That's also true and you are remembering it right. one thing to bring up as well along with the other weakness is that once the host is dead/passed on the luck to another that over time the people who were blessed by it slowly lose it and in the worst cases...just straight up pass away which were the fates of the other children that Utsuro helped as brought up in Chapter 6, Nijiue is very lucky.
Still, with all in mind, It's pretty busted that it makes Komaeda look tame and Arthur's bad luck from FE fates look like a joke in comparison even with the full knowledge of how his works in the second game and anime...Utsuro might have to steal the "The Ultimate Bullshit" title from him lol.

Kanata is so underutilized in the main story it make me insane,, why did Linuj decide to just make her the sensible character that cries all the time, she could have done more
Like, Kanata has a backstory beat where she put the safety of others over hers which could have ended up in her getting seriously hurt
Dies in a chapter where one of the victims sacrificed themselves to try saving the other

You are right that she is missed potential. Despite the pattern of Linuj limiting characters' potential in DRA, Kanata at least has some usefulness by calling out/reaffirming a medical phenomenon in one of the chapters yet that's about it... because as we both know, the pattern of limiting characters' potential strikes again with Kanata.
When you think about it, it is kind of ridiculous that she wasn't the one sacrificing herself. I guess what can make her not dying because of a trait of hers—putting herself first before others—less worse is her dying due to another trait of hers, which is her overly-trusting nature and some naivety when it comes to her safety (which does, in a way, connect with putting others' safety above hers). As a doctor it is a required thing (which she follows) to at least trust your patients first before speculation, yet this trait extends outside of her job, which proves to be a major problem since she was kidnapped from a location (infirmary) she announced to most people she'd be in.
I still think she is missed potential, although some details (like her not sacrificing herself) is less worse when considering her other traits. Despite the limitations, Kanata still shows some hints of Linuj using her character in small ways which is good... but not good enough.

dra yuki for the character bingo?
Let me start by saying...Poor Maeda.
(apologies for the rambling as I'm tired and running off of pain killers ;^^ at almost 6 in morning so this is gonna be a mess.)
His whole existence begins and ends in the killing game which only lasts for a little over a month with fabricated memories and personality that is completely based on and taken from the real Yuki Maeda while the Yuki Maeda we knew throughout DRA is nothing more than a mere fake in a body that even His but rather Utsuro's, the true Mastermind that created This Maeda as a form of a cover until He was no longer needed. (At least from what I understand of the twist.)
Maeda is a weird character as Linuj says he made Him plain even more so compared to characters like Makoto and Hinata in the main series yet in the game itself while He definitely is the everyman of the group but what He has going on and how he handles these situations even most of these are very brief and don't really get brought up much afterwards yet gave my mind something to think on when playing through the game.
He can be very unbelievably dense to a fault when it comes to romance (at least when it comes to Taira -_- ) yet He does have a smartish brain, and can call people out on their shit like when the group believes Monokuma over him during Chapter 3 and isn't always hopeful as He can fall into despair and like others can/could take another's life if pushed far enough...in his case: madness due to his hunger which luckily Kinjo stopped him at the cost of Maeda's teeth.
One thing that stands out to me about him is his strange reactions right after He's been kicked out of the group in chapter 3, instead of being angry for not believing him...He just thinks up excuses like "they're just confused" or "It's a misunderstanding" in his mind and when He talks to Uehara as He has no way to prove he isn't a traitor/mastermind outside his word and even does this again later when He tries to talk to Kisaragi as He doesn't understand why the newcomer is growling at him, add in the fact He seems to like everyone even despite how Higa and Tomori treat him in their FTEs (One almost always acting like an unlikable dickhead while the other almost sexual assaults him) yet He still cares about them and still views them as his friends...like He can't hate them no matter what.
(Little note here: I had this Headcanon that Maeda has separation anxiety with his friends, So when He panics over losing his safety net, he comes up with reasons and reinsure himself that it won't last forever to calm himself down...that's more me fill in the blanks for why He behaves like that.)
I do like Maeda a lot more than I thought after chapter 2 and onwards, I like the angst involving him whether it be his existest or his relationship to other characters (Mainly Taira, Kurokawa, Kisaragi and Kisaragi trio) even though I wanted to be happy with his classmates or at least with Kinjo.
Like to believe that Maeda did survive the building falling on him during IF then at some point the others find him again and goes to therapy as He deals with a newly formed identity crisis because of everything that happened and tries to form his own identity separated from Utsuro and Yuki Maeda...maybe Kinjo helping him along the way like Kisaragi and Kurokawa helped Him to change his mindset? idk...let them hug...
He deserves better and be apart from Utsuro...still want to bonk him on the head really hard with a toy hammer for being so dumb during Taira's last FTE and attacking Kurokawa during chapter 4 even I know he wasn't in the right mind...but still...🍀🔨
