Finally finished with updating the notes for the IDW Imperious (from @cuppajj) and Quick Search (my boy) story and felt like shareing some stuff.

It's just the sticky-note and Imperious pages, but hey, there's a small plot relevant thingy in here.

(The cool part about the notebook is the hard cover, the galaxy sparkles and the sides of the pages are silver.)

So, yea, when I say "I'm gonna get my notebook" when IDW Imperious related stuff comes up, this is the notebook.

We all love tattoo artist Eddie, but consider tattoo artist Steve.

He has an American Robin perched on a trumpet on his bicep for Robin. He gave her a brightly colored ice cream cone on her shoulder in different shades of pink. She rambled about cultural tattoos and the history of tattoos in America when she wasn’t bitching at him (‘Ow! For the love of all that is holy, Dingus!’ ‘Do you need a break?’) the whole time he was doing it.

He finds one of the kids (Max) attempting a stick n poke and gathers them all around for a lecture on safety and cleanliness. He promises the kids he’ll tattoo them for free when they’re old enough.

He and Will have art sessions where they’ll pick a subject and draw it traditionally and then Steve gives him pointers on how he would make the design better for tattooing. Will ends up apprenticing with Steve when he turns 18.

Steve still wears blue jeans and polos. His work is good enough that his customers don’t give a shit how he dresses.

He’s compassionate about coverups. He knows what it’s like to have changed so much that who you once were doesn’t fit anymore.

He’s very versatile, switching between outlines, black and grey shading, subtle highlights, and bold coloring with ease. He can do cartoon work as well as he can do realistic plants, or big cats, or lettering (he checks the spelling five or more times. He’s never messed up, but it’s one of his biggest fears). He has a whole list of referrals from people who like how he does scales. He’s lost count of how many fish, dragons, and snakes he’s done. He’s comfortable with a lot of styles, but he doesn’t do portraits. When Will starts at the shop he excels at portraits. Steve’s happy he’s found his niche.

Steve’s at a tattoo expo to network and check out new techniques when he finds himself stopping to watch an artist doing a tattoo of a demon. The artist has long, dark hair pulled back in a ponytail, and a grin like sunshine, and manages to make something grotesque and beautiful at the same time. Steve checks out the guy’s portfolio and sees a lot of fantasy stuff, dragons and wizards and a familiar looking set of dice, and he knows he has to go grab Will from the food court.

Yess I think they do! I like to think they're born with just 4 limbs (which are the primary arms and legs) but they already have suckers since they're a major tool in movement and exploring and interacting with the world in general. (Grabbing things, grabbing onto their parents, tasting things, scratching or suckering onto evil animal that tries to eat it, moving... whatnot)

Then when they grow and their limbs develop into clearer shapes, the suckers will reposition and bunch together. So squishies (children) can grab things and manipulate objects just fine for the majority of their childhood, just hand-specific motor skills aren't something they can do until they actually have elongated fingers...

So what actually happens when the hands start developing structure is the suckers settling into a balanced pattern, after which they start protruding and growing more elongate stalks ("the fingers").

It's a pretty slow process, and most of the suckers stay joined together for a pretty long time still until they grow out, but the first finger to grow out and separate tends to be the thumb, which gives squishy hands the "mitten" effect.

Of course, when the development process is complete (typically in the preteen years), the suckers are the basis for hands!

Why are Jimmy and Tango the most duo ever?

Like. I wouldn't have expected them. But it makes so much sense.

They're loud, they're brash (in a positive sense), they have big reactions. They both can't build (though looking at Jimmy's After Life Series and Tango's recent Hermitcraft video, that is clearly a fucking lie-). They both stumble and fall through Minecraft and die in the silliest ways. They both ran around like headless chickens when they respawned and wasted several seconds where they could've looked for their dropped stuff. They hype each other up, in a way; one's excitement and loudness feeds the other's excitement and loudness.

Plus, they were, like, really sweet with each other?? Jimmy telling Tango that it's okay when Tango apologized for getting them killed, Jimmy trying to reassure him by telling him 'hey, I'm probably going to get us killed as well', to which Tango immediately responds with a little laughter and 'that's fine', Tango going to help Jimmy when he saw Jimmy getting the 'Not today, thank you' advancement, Jimmy hyping the house Tango built, Jimmy showing off what he gathered each time when he went out, Tango worrying for Jimmy when he was cornered by Etho and Joel on the bridge... hello??? I'm here for this friendship!

And most of the time Jack isn't even the main focus! I'm sorry??? Do with that what you will.
