my personal take on the matter is that i definitely think the dark worlds can work as a metaphor for escapism without undermining the darkners' personhood. it can be more than one thing, yknow? the darkners are important, their lives matter. and the lightners do go to the dark world as an escape from the problems they face in their own life. but that's not the darkners' whole PURPOSE, yknow? i mean. according to the laws of the universe of deltarune yes darkners' "purpose" is to serve the lightners but like it's not their whole purpose in the STORY.
it's sort of like how, in UNDERTALE, LOVE represents how distant you've become, how easy it is for you to hurt people. but it also literally gives you the power to destroy the world.
i think the biggest reason i believe escapism is at least a part of deltarune's narrative is queen.
queen's whole speech in both of her fights is about how she intends to provide escapism for the lightners (so that they will worship her but also so that they will he happy). she wants to turn the whole world into a dark world, so that everyone can live in bliss and not have to worry about the woes of the light world. she mentions "Staring, Tapping, To Receive Joy. Staring, Tapping, To Avoid Pain." which is like pretty much the definition of escapism
she wants to help Noelle with the problems she faces in the light world ("Noelle. Who Will Be There To Help Her? Her Strange And Sad Searches" and "My One Idea To Help Noelle, Failed") by just... shoving it away for a blissful fantasy world ("Wake? No, She Has Already Awakened Too Much. Let Her Close Her Eyes And Sleep Away, Into A Darker, Darker Dream.")

well first off, thank you for your ask! I'm going to get extremely in depth in my answer, so bear with me here. sorry it took several weeks to write this. the escapism reading of deltarune is pretty deeply entrenched in fandom, and to refute it, I felt it required a full-length essay to completely explain my viewpoint.
yes, "the lightners desire escapism" does not automatically translate to that being the darkners' actual narrative purpose. escapism can be a theme without dehumanizing those who are used in order to escape - in fact, I've read a number of stories that use someone's desire to escape to HIGHLIGHT how they're hurting others in pursuit of that. I believe that toby fox is definitely capable of telling a story about kids having a valid desire to escape, and about them grappling with having inadvertently created a world of real, living people as a result.
(I'll reiterate again that this is not the story arc that generally shows up in fanon. the common consensus is that the game will end in an omori-esque "growing out of" the dark worlds. it's why I have a huge dislike of the fanon escapism reading, given that the darkners are shown as people whose lack of agency parallels kris' own. it would feel cheap if the resolution to that plot was that the darkners were actually never meant to be agents in their own fates. but this is a digression.)
the reason why i DON'T believe that this is a story that toby fox is telling is because of the way the world, themes, and characters are written. put simply, it just doesn't come across as congruent with the story being told.
deltarune's main themes are agency, fate, identity, and control. this is a conflict that shows up in nearly every major character, is baked into the worldbuilding, and is the central struggle involving us, the player. the protagonist of deltarune is literally possessed by us against their will. the darkners are objects that have no choice but to serve and be discarded. over and over again, there is emphasis on roles that characters play - and crucially, roles that are imposed on them.
what would escapism mean, in this thematic context? in real life, escapism can represent any number of things, but in a story, a major narrative theme generally has to dovetail with other major narrative themes in the work. I would argue that escapism in deltarune would likely mean going to a place where characters are able to choose for themselves what roles they embody, or even to discard the notion of roles altogether. a fantasy of control is the only way to escape a reality where you have no agency. and honestly, it's hard to imagine that something could count as an escapist fantasy if you don't even get to choose whether or not you participate in it.
let's talk about kris.
I see a lot of discussions around kris that say that kris goes into the dark worlds to escape. the dark worlds are posited as kris' fantasy of heroism. it's a world where they can seem heroic and cool, a world where they can have friends. this theory makes a decent amount of sense on the surface level, but only until you consider that kris is being controlled in order to go into the dark worlds. and it is not a control that they appear to welcome.
if those worlds represent kris' fantasy, then why don't they get to choose what happens in those fantasies? why are they being controlled by an external force, one that they actively push back against? if it's really an escape, then why does everything about this world reflect their lack of agency? if they really think this world is just a pure fantasy, then why do they care if spamton falls when his strings are cut?
because they're being deliberately obscured to the player, it is hard to say how kris actually feels about many subjects... but I do seriously doubt that they view the dark worlds as an escape. they don't act in a way that is consistent with that. they resist their lack of agency, and what little we do see of their reactions to darkner characters doesn't suggest that they view those characters as part of a disposable fantasy, either. they seem to have complicated feelings on ralsei. and of course, one of their biggest emotional reactions in the game is to the spamton fight. I would argue that that suggests they have empathy for spamton, which is a hard emotional reaction to have if you believe he's just part of a fantasy. not impossible, mind you, but it seems unlikely that kris believes that all this is simply fantasy.
also, considering that snowgrave both actively discredits the idea that the dark worlds are mere fantasy and is actively traumatic for kris... I seriously doubt they'd open another dark world in chapter 3 on a snowgrave run if their motive was purely to escape. on that route, they've seen the damage we can cause in a dark world. they know that berdly has sustained lasting damage due to our actions, assuming he's not outright dead. why would they want to try and "escape" to a place like that again now that they know what can happen?
the only answer is that they have a motive that isn't escapist.
now, as for ralsei... what part does he have to play in all this?
ralsei does play a lot to the fun, fantastical elements of the dark worlds. he delivers the prophecy that kickstarts the adventure. he flatters both kris and susie endlessly when they act appropriately heroic. he welcomes them into the castle and even makes nice rooms for them. he initially seems tailor-made to enable a fantastical experience where no real issues can ever complicate anything, and where the pain of reality can successfully be hidden from. but there's a lot of complications to the idea that he might represent an escapist fantasy.
the first, and what honestly seems the most important to me, is that he doesn't encourage kris and susie to remain in the dark worlds. he is welcoming and kind, but once the adventure is over, he prompts them to return to the light world. he wants them to deal with their more "real" problems like homework. that doesn't feel like he is trying to facilitate escapism in them. a real fantasy would encourage you to stay in it, wouldn't it?
and while ralsei is definitely invested in making sure the lightners are happy, there are always cracks that show. he isn't able to make kris ignore what happened in the spamton fight. he isn't able to convince susie to be peaceful and kind. and in his very essence, he represents a number of uncomfortable ideas. very importantly, he represents a number of uncomfortable ideas to kris.
this probably ain't your first fandom rodeo, so I'm not going to explain all the different ways that ralsei interacts with kris' personal issues. there's plenty of posts on it out there. what i will point out is, once again, it feels odd that a character who seems tailor made to bring up kris' most uncomfortable associations with their lack of agency and their outsider status in their own family would be part of a fantasy of escapism to them. you'd think that they'd prefer something that didn't have an inbuilt hierarchy, a prophecy that denied them autonomy, or especially a person that reminded them how little they fit into hometown.
that doesn't mean kris doesn't care about him at all - it seems very likely that they do. what I mean to say here is that he just seems ill-suited to an escapism reading, both behaviorally and on a conceptual level. it doesn't seem like that's at all part of his servitude towards the lightners.
of course, there is another non-lightner entity that ralsei seems diegetically engineered to serve. but I'll discuss that later.
now as for susie...
yes, susie definitely views the dark worlds as more fun than the light world. and why wouldn't she? the light world sucks for her, and she doesn't seem very aware of the fact that the dark world can also suck. you could definitely make the argument that she views the dark worlds as a fantastical escape from reality... were it not for the fact that she treats her darkner friends with just as much importance as she does kris and noelle.
can someone treat components of an escapist fantasy as real and important? of course. but given deltarune's themes of agency and control, as well as the fact that darkners exist in servitude to the lightners, I feel like you'd have to make escapism tie into forcing others into a lack of agency if you wanted the theme to feel coherent with the rest of the work. this would require susie to be limiting the agency of the darkners around her. and obviously, she doesn't do that. her presence around them might be inherently limiting, just by simple virtue of being a lightner, but she isn't aware of it, and clearly is uncomfortable with the idea of limiting anyone's agency. she encourages ralsei to make choices. and she supports lancer in basically anything he wants to do. her treatment of lancer is integral to chapter 1's narrative, and it seems like that treatment of ralsei is integral to the ongoing narrative as well!
her preference for the dark world feels very rooted in her engagement with it as its own reality. rather than trying to avoid her real-life problems by engaging in a pretense, she seems to simply want to spend time with her friends in a place that isn't cruel to her. she isn't ignoring any of the dark world's problems in service of that, either. she notices when things don't line up. if she thought of it as a fantasy, wouldn't she be inclined to ignore issues that impede the fantasy?
and critically - like kris, she does not intentionally choose her imposed role in the prophecy at first. she steps into the role of bad guy to resist it, but that role is limiting too, and she eventually acquiesces to being a hero. it's never something she's completely on board with, though. she actively pushes back the limitations that the role places on her. I find this important to reiterate when we are discussing the notion of the characters viewing the dark worlds as fantasy.
noelle has a complicated relationship to the dark worlds. susie tells her that it's a dream to make her accept the strange reality she finds herself in, which works well on her. she continues to think of it as a strange dream throughout the chapter. (though, like the others, it is not a 'dream' she entered of her own volition!)
it is also a markedly unpleasant 'dream' at times. she has her agency restricted, is kidnapped, has to evade a controlling monarch, and is even tied up in a weird evangelion cross thing on the hand of a giant robot. it's not purely fun. noelle does like scary things, and while it might be healthy for her to have an experience where she stands up to a controlling adult figure... again, the circumstances make it difficult for me to assume that this is a fantasy she would choose for herself. not impossible, mind you, but it's not the first reading of the situation that comes to mind.
and while she does say she wishes she could dream like this every day in the normal route, that does happen specifically because she was talking to the girl she likes. it makes sense she'd find that pleasant. I don't think that necessarily equates to her finding the dark worlds escapist.
and importantly, this isn't the sentiment that she expresses in every route.
again, there's a lot of analysis on snowgrave, so I won't bother regurgitating it much here. but it's nightmarish for both kris and noelle, and very likely fatal for berdly. noelle needs to believe that the event is a dream, for her own psychological safety, but one of the most important parts of snowgrave...
...is that its events, and the world it took place in, are very, very real.
noelle wants to have the strength to face her problems, both in the regular route and in the snowgrave route. rather than escaping from them, she views the "dream" as a chance to practice dealing with her day-to-day issues. it's just that in the regular route she finds that strength authentically, and in the snowgrave route, that desire is manipulated and pushed until she is forced to kill berdly. she doesn't interpret snowgrave as an escape gone wrong. she views it as a dream that became a nightmare. and those are two extremely different things.
but i haven't even gotten to the biggest thing that undermines the concept that the dark worlds are a metaphor for escapism! which is: this fucking guy is dead wrong about everything.
so full disclaimer - I really love berdly. I think he's slept on a lot in the fandom because he's annoying and weird. which is fair, I suppose, but I think ignoring him hinders a lot of people's understanding of deltarune's overall narrative. because berdly often illustrates a lot of concepts in the game, but his narrative framing as a joke (usually...) prevents the player from taking it completely seriously. he has things to say and ideas to show off, it's just that he's often very loud and kind of dumb in his expression of them. which is kind of the point!
ralsei brings up the idea that the darkners are meant to serve the lightners very seriously in chapter one. by extension, and by way of the literal mechanics involved in a dark world's creation, we can infer that this logic is probably something that also applies to the dark worlds themselves. they are allegedly worlds and characters that only are supposed to fulfill a dream of the lightners. but due to narrative framing and deltarune's themes, we know that that's not the full truth. however dark worlds and darkners are created, they deserve to have their own agency. they can't just exist to fulfill a higher being's wishes.
you know who else undermines that view of the dark worlds? berdly! berdly does!!!!
because berdly is the only lightner in the game so far who does take the dark worlds to be an escapist adventure! he wants to turn cyber world into smartopia. he views this as a chance to be a cool hero. he believes he's going to get the girl, he's going to shape this world to his own liking, and maybe also he's going to get queen to acknowledge him or something so he stops being a forgettable little bluebird. and not only does none of this happen, his steadfast belief that it will happen is continually a joke within the narrative!!
berdly's wishes for uncomplicated escapist fantasy are flat-out denied by the dark worlds themselves. as a lightner, those worlds should be serving him. he should have the power to do whatever he wants within the bounds of an escapist fantasy. these npcs should be singing his praises!
but he doesn't have the power. and this world doesn't sing his praise. because it just isn't an escapist fantasy. he isn't right to view it that way. his wishes for heroism are always going to be thwarted.
so now that I've gotten all that out of the way, let's swing back over to the subject of your original ask. queen.
because, like berdly, queen's entire character arc is about how she's completely wrong about what the lightners actually want.
queen would in fact like nothing more to place the lightners into an escapist fantasy. she believes that that's the best way to serve them and make them happy forever. as a darkner, queen has very much internalized the idea that a lack of control is what actually makes people happy. since darkners have no choice in their destinies and are supposed to be happy in it, and since she personally finds her role as a darkner fulfilling, she believes that that's true of all people everywhere. if you want to make people happy, you just have to remove that pesky personal agency!
so she spends the story trying to force the lightners and particularly noelle into situations where she controls them in order to make them ostensibly happier. she does genuinely believe that this is the right thing to do, but as she finds out eventually, she's just wrong. noelle doesn't want that. queen believes that escapism is why the lightners use the internet... but that's totally wrong too.
while there are other searches mixed in, noelle is trying to use the internet to find her sister. instead of trying to hide from whatever happened, noelle wants to figure it out. queen's thesis about noelle and the lightners is proven wrong even before she personally encounters noelle in the dark world. it's just that queen doesn't realize it due to her limited perspective.
the concept of escapism being brought up with both queen and berdly is not there to say that the dark world is escapist. rather, it's there to say that it isn't. despite the dark worlds being a fantastical place, they are extremely real. to view them as a means of escape is foolhardy at best. you cannot act as though you are above consequences within them.
themes and ideas exist within the story for a sake of an audience. so let's get into the final character I need to discuss here. hopefully this will tie my thesis of deltarune together neatly.
that character is of course us. the player.
when creating a piece of fiction, an astute author will often identify and anticipate an audience's reactions to certain things in their work, and write things in such a way that they elicit the desired reactions. in essence, a writer is directing the "character" of the audience. how we feel and how we are anticipated to react to things is an integral part of nearly every fiction.
that effect is far more overt when dealing with metanarrative fiction that diegetically involves the audience. since the fiction is saying a lot of things about the general 'you,' the audience in aggregate, your reactions to certain things in the story have to be finely cued and anticipated by the author, so that the author can thus commentate on the reactions that you have to the story. the "character" you are assumed to inhabit is posited by the author to have certain traits.
to explain what I mean in plainer terms, I'll use the player of undertale's no mercy route as an example. because undertale is commenting on the way rpgs generally work. the player's behaviors in no mercy are attributed by characters in the story to be the result of us acting like a typical gamer. we kill the characters in the game because we want exp. and more than that, it's because we want to see everything the game has to offer. the role we inhabit in this role-playing game is that of a completionist. you could say that that's assumed to be our "character" in no mercy.
deltarune also posits that certain things are true of its audience. by being written to evoke certain cultural ideas, rpg tropes, and references to undertale, it guarantees that its audience will probably have certain traits, and spends a large amount of its conceptual focus commenting on those traits. one of those traits is nostalgia, which is probably an idea that I'll expound upon in a further essay because it's quite integral to my reading of deltarune. but the main one I mean to discuss here, and why I went off on this tangent about how audiences are dealt with in metafiction, is that we are posited as someone who believes in the logic of certain narratives.
deltarune's writing evokes a lot of portal fantasy narratives. alice in wonderland, narnia, pretty much every story where it's revealed at the end to be all a dream... the story of deltarune superficially resembles a lot of those. this, I think, is responsible for the popularity of the escapism theory. because those stories are often at their end about a child learning to put away fantasy and grow up, people tend to believe that deltarune must be about the same thing. but I truly don't think that deltarune is trying to do anything with that aspect of portal fantasy narratives, at least not directly. its main characters aren't involved in that exact type of coming-of-age arc.
instead, deltarune is very concerned with what happens to characters in fantasy, and specifically fantasy rpgs. if your world is deemed to not matter because it's a dream, what does that mean for you, who has no choice but to live in it? if you are an npc whose role has been predetermined for you via script, then can you ever decide for yourself what you want? what if you want to matter? what if you want to be your own person?
as the major controlling force of deltarune, we are initially cued to believe that deltarune is like a dream. it superficially fulfills so much of what we want from undertale fanon. hometown seems like it's a perfect idyllic town, at least until you start noticing the obvious cracks. and remember what I said about ralsei earlier? he is so reminiscent of asriel, and extremely eager to help us. it's not a stretch to say that making us specifically view deltarune as dreamlike and idyllic is probably part of his purpose in the game.
I would not say that we are posited as escapist. but the idea of escapism as brought up with queen and berdly is meant to strike at the heart of a much deeper idea that deltarune is trying to deconstruct. because if we view deltarune as a dream, escapist or otherwise, then we are inclined to write the internal realities of the characters inside off. the dark world can disappear without it mattering. we can control kris without it mattering. if it's all a dream, what does it matter? why should we care to let its characters go free? aren't we supposed to be in control?

Not necessarily about the kids, but how do the parents balance out all their families? We have Errink and Drink for example, how does Ink manage them?
Each character has their own way of raising and "raising" their children.
In summary. They manage to take care of them without much complication, others help each other, and others prefer to evade responsibility and leave them forgotten.
Ink takes care of Paper Jam, Gradient, Spilled and Ekon.
He also often visits Palette, Blueprint, and Bluescreen.
Dream takes care of Palette, Shine and Shade. Along with Cross takes care of Lux, Starcross and Hope.
Cross usually takes care of the three of them, but apart from that, he can pay the attention that Ink doesn't give to Moku. Together with Epic takes care of Starke.
Swap will take care of Blueprint, Splatter, and Sprinkle alongside Papyrus and Asgore. He will occasionally go to Outertale to say hello to Starway.
Outer takes care of Starway most of the time. And he takes care of Deneb together with Science Sans.
Reaper and Geno take care of Goth, Raven, Sorell, Silver, and Shino without a problem. Cassis often spends time with the five of them as well.
Fell and Classic Sans take turns taking care of Plum and Dedge, despite the latter being Dust's son.
Dust takes care of Kenza. From time to time he takes turns with Swap to take care of Sprinkle. And Horror helps him with Okse and Glasses.
Finally, Killer is in charge of raising Crescent, Angst and Merciless. Nightmare only trains them to serve as his weapons. Horror and Dust are their "uncles" and are also in charge of them when the other two are not around.
Nightmare, Error and Fresh don't care about children. Nightmare just takes advantage of them. Error tolerates them, but he would rather destroy them than take care of them. Fresh is a liar parasite.
As for Lust...
We are not talking about Lust.
Please keep the children away from him, as far away as possible...
Radier, Tenpatch raised themselves alones. They spent their childhood together with Nightmare until they were old enough to take care of themselves.
They sometimes visit Error.
Those are the entire list for now. It is probable that in the future I will make comics about the childhood of each child, for now there are advances on my AO3 account. I'm still thinking about adding Rurik, but I don't have enough information about him. Only he was raised in Underfell by Fell Ink.
None of the children and parents belong to me, they all belong to their respective authors.
These are all my own headcanon trying to assimilate to the real canon. If there is something wrong or that any author would like to mention, feel free to correct.

Here is a small drabble / fic I wrote for you :3
Amalia and Sans put on aprons and cooking hats.
Sans noticed that Amalia was wearing a piece of cloth to cover her hair.
He looked at her questioningly.
"I don't want my hair to go into the cake. That'd be gross and not cool".
He nodded.
Amalia brought the ingredients.
Sans carried the equipment and book for the recepie.
Sans and Amalia looked at the equipment, ingredients and slowly at each other.
They grinned.
"ready? amalia?"
"Born Ready Sans!"
They grinned and began action.
They read the recipe.
They added the ingredients and mixed them together.
They made the base.
They fixed the chocolate, cream, caramel and condensed milk.
They built and decorated the cake.
It was chocolate, cream, condensed milk and caramel.
"amalia?" Sans hesitantly asked.
"Hm?" she murmured trying to decorate the cake.
"why so much condensed milk cans?"
Amalia stopped and looked at the cans. "Well, she likes it! I've seen her spooning it, drinking it from the can, licking her fingers. She loves it.. I believe next thing she goes feral other than you, it condensed milk".
Sans nodded.
Sans blushed at what she said. His face turned reddish. Amalia smirked.
They had bought a second cake; in case what they were making, was a total disaster.
After they were done with their cake.
They began decorating the room.
Amalia brought some balloons.
Then went to take a bath and prepare themselves.
Amalia was giggling. Sans was smiling.
Sans put on his good clothes. A white shirt, brown pants, black shoes and blue jacket.
Amalia put on her maxi dress, fixed her hair, added makeup and fragrance.

They heard the keys and the door opening.
Fudgie let her keys on the wooden table close to the door. She removed her shoes, hanged her bag and coat.
It was oddly quite. "Anybody home?" she called.
Sans appeared behind her and closed her eyes.
She yelped at the sudden movement. "Easy now sweetheart, we have a surprise for you". His soft voice whispered in her ear. She felt his wame breath caressing her cheek and ear.
Fudgie took some breathes to calm down her raising heartbeat.
Sans's phalanges were warm on her skin.
They felt a little rough. She knew what work these phalanges have done.
Sans guided her to the living room. "Don't open your eyes, wait for my signal" Sans masculine voice whispered in her ear.
She nodded, her heart beating fast.

Amalia and Sans took position.
"Now, sunlight. Open your eyes".
Fudgie opened her blue grey eyes. They shone like lakes when the sun hits the surface.
She saw the presents, they held in their arms.
Amalia was holding a beautiful box, shaped as a heart.
Sans was holding a small black box and a bouquet of blue cornflowers.
He offered the bouquet, his face blushing pink, reddish. Her eyes shone like stars.
He looked at the floor and caressed the back of his skull. He blushed harder when she made that face.
He carefully handed her the box. She opened the box and saw a magnificent necklace with gemstones (amethyst, green fluorite, blue tanzanite, ruby, diamond and many more) .
Her eyes sparkled. She kept staring. She was mesmerized.
Amalia came next to Sans, with her gift as well.
Amalia stretched her hands offering her gift to her.
Fudgie opened Amalia's gift and noticed the cans of condensed milk, tea, a card and a green scarf; similar to Amalia's pink one.
Fudgie smiled. Her smile was stretched from one ear to the other.
They hugged each other.
Fudgie thanked them.

Sans brought the cake. Fudgie blew the candles and sliced the cake.

They sat down to eat. There were spinach pie, cheese pie, small hot dogs and many more delicious goodies.
Fudgie tried it and with the corner of her eye she noticed Amalia and Sans sinking in their seats.
Well Amalia had her face behind Sans's shoulder blade.
Sans was nervous but tried not to show it.
As Fudgie took a mouthful of the cake, the flavors exploded in her taste buds.
They watched as her pupil grew bigger.
Due to her blue / grey eyes, they could see when she loved something or someone; her pupil grew larger.

She could sense the right dose of chocolate, caramel, cream and condensed milk. It was delectable. She hummed in delight.
Amalia peeked from behind Sans's back.
"Do you like it?" Amalia asked in a small shy voice. She wanted to be sure.
Fudgie turned her blue eyes on her way, cheeks stuffed. Fudgie swallowed.
Fudgie's expression had softened when she saw Amalia's nervous expression.
Fudgie grinned "You made this?" she pointed at them.
They nodded.
She set her plate down. A soft smile on her face. She got up and went closed to them
She hugged them.
They hugged her back.
"Thank you guys, this was a pretty good try, I love it!"
They buried their faces on her shoulder.
Fudgie smelled nice; coconut and rose. Sunshine and flowers.
Her copper brown hair soft, like silk, brushed their faces.
Sans and Amalia grinned.
"Glad to hear that Fudgie!" Amalia's voice was muffled.
After some minutes, she let go of them.
Both enjoyed the cake while talking and watching the view from the window.
She sat in the middle. Sans leaned his head on her left shoulder. Amalia leaned hers on her right side.
They were happy!

DEALERNUT AU: A Evil & Good Frisk/Kris (2024)

I have that story on hiatus at the moment...so yeah, this drawing will before both here and over there...]

this drawing has to do with a Fan-Headcanon and theory.
that the Good-Frisk & Kris are In-Game Players, not us the Player that lives outside the Universe of Undertale and Deltarune.
the In-Game Player lives in a world, where their world is more connected to both Undertale and Deltarune than ours is, so their red soul ends up in Frisk, who's true self is cold heart apathetic human child who in the true timeline they are from when they start in Hard Mode Route, they ended up with a lot of LV...
the In-Game Player that becomes the Good-Kris, they at some point like Frisk did, had to share control of their body with the Outer-Game Player...
the strings that connects In-Game Player/Frisk & Chara's Souls together, as well as In-Game Player/Kris and the Turquoise Souls.
the Turquoise Soul could turn out to be a Artificial Soul that was made to inhabit Kris's body before the In-Game Player ends up being placed into Kris's body, even after we the Outer-Game Player try to make a Vessel for the In-Game Player.
Turquoise Soul Kris, could be good and keeps to themself, and doesn't pull the same pranks as the Original True-Kris...
the reason why Kris has to share with with a In-Game Player Soul,
is to keep the Original Kris from taking back full control,
while Kris with the Turquoise Soul has the same memories as the Original True-Kris, they may not remember everything the Original does...and they may not know that they are not the original, but their true self is a Artificial Soul that was created to keep the Original-Kris from resurfacing...
Kris and Asriel's Parents could of had this done, because they notice how dangerous and violent Kris was getting as the years went by, at first things seemed normal and less violent, but then there could of been a incident that had them take drastic measures.
and it had involved placing a new soul in Kris, to keep their dark side in check so they don't hurt themself or anyone.
we know that Chara is always used a scapegoat, but we know that True-Frisk is probably the one that is the one that ya need to watch out for...like even if we the Outer-Game Player isn't doing a Reset, True-Frisk ends up doing them, taking full control back from the In-Game Player that we know as "The Good-Frisk"...
Chara could be very aware about the true nature of the original Frisk, since they saw them turn monsters to dust in the Hard Mode Route.
and unlike the Outer-Game Player, who didn't get to leave the Ruins...
True-Frisk did and they kept turning monsters into dust as they kept through the underground until they got to the King's Castle.
and for the whole Paradox thing, before True-Frisk could do any harm to the King, they are stop by Gaster who then takes them to the secret true lab that at some point ends up between time & space...
and when the Good-Frisk ends up in that lab, they end up seeing their reflection in one of the rooms, but it isn't their reflection, it's them or rather it's the Original-Frisk, who is too dangerous and has too high of LV to be let free into the world of both the underground and surface.
Alphys might not know that the secret true lab is in between time & space, and may be connected between Undertale and Deltarune's World...anyway the story that involves The Dealernut AU, might end up being in a long hiatus, and I can take my time on it and it doesn't need to be a long story, plus I kind of want to add other worlds into it along with Undertale and Deltarune, like Steven Universe for one.
anyway I will post up another drawing in a little bit, right after I do something first...anyway if some do wonder about the name of that AU...it is also can be the same like Deltarune and Undertale,
meaning all you have to do is mix Dealernut around and you will either get Undertale or Deltarune...it is Dealer-Nut, which could hint that Spamton will play a part in that story in the future...
cause he may technically be a Dealer and he's kinda Nuts. XD

I'm having a very difficult day, but here it is!

Spring
"I can't believe you out of all people are hiking," Nightmare teases playfully. Geno huffs, "we're not hiking! there is a very decent road here now, and it's not like i'm doing it for fun. they say there's a spring on the mountain that begins in the Underground and therefore has magical properties. i want a sample or ten."
Nightmare smiles widely, "What, not even a skele-ton? Then why bother?" Geno laughs in response, and the sound warms Nightmare's entire being.
Geno's backpack is carried by a Gaster blaster, naturally. It's a wonder he doesn't have a second one carrying himself. He still climbs the mountain unhurriedly, almost leisurely. "So what are we looking for?" Nightmare asks, looking around curiously. "a path from the main road we're using now. there's a few, humans aren't afraid to go here anymore, but i know for sure there is one that leads to the spring," Geno explains.
"So we're checking every single one of them?" Nightmare clarifies. "so we're checking every single one of them," Geno repeats in a calm voice, then adds. "and it isn't even a nightmare, because my Nightmare is here with me." Nightmare tries to reply but all that comes from his mouth is incoherent noises. Well, he was the one who started with the puns… And Geno has far more experience. Nightmare's not upset to lose, though. It's not a war, it's love, and in love, everything's a little bit better.
"Here's one," Nightmare points at a barely visible path on the right side of the road.
"i'm so glad you're with me," Geno admits.
"Because with your poor eyesight you wouldn't find anything?" Nightmare teases. "because i love you and enjoy your presence," geno responds easily. "but also because of that, yeah." They smile at each other and turn right, eventually disappearing in the woods.
It's sunset when they find the spring. At some point, Geno actually summons a second Gaster blaster to carry him, exactly like Nightmare half-jokingly predicted. Is it really easier than walking, Nightmare's not sure, but regardless, he walks by Geno's floating side, drinking in the sights and smells of the deciduous forest. It's peaceful but lively — the wind rustles the branches, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming. It's a nice day to be outside, and no one deserves to burn in hell.
"do you also hear the sound of water or am i hearing things?" geno asks.
"Look, right there!" Nightmare exclaims.
Geno quickly and deftly gets down from the blaster, like he'd done it before, and hurries to the spring. Even the air around it feels different, and Nightmare steps closer and slowly breathes in, savouring it. Geno gets his backpack from the other blaster and makes both skulls disappear.
Nightmare watches curiously as Geno gets his samples of water, then collects some in a plastic cup, then takes a sip. "mm, definitely magical. so clear and cool, too…" Geno turns his head, looking at Nightmare, "wish you could try it as well…"
"It's okay," Nightmare reassures with a smile. "I don't need to drink anyway."
Geno puts his samples away and gets… a blanket. What?.. "how about we sit for a bit?"
"So it is a date, you sly, sly creature," Nightmare shakes his head fondly.
"you once said anything can become a date with the right attitude, so you decide," Geno smiles. "so you tell me: is it a date?"
"Of course it is!" Nightmare laughs happily. "Spread out the blanket already!"

How Is It That You Can Make Krerdly Soo Cute And Skrunkly?
It Hurts Me And Makes Me Feel Things Inside
Oh, hello!
I'm happy to hear you like my Krerdly stuff :)
To answer your question, there's a lot going into it, I think.
First off is my love for Berdly.
I've met a lot of people who are similar to Berdly, so a lot of my work borrows from my experiences with them, or is outright directly based on those experiences. I also relate to Berdly myself, which should be obvious from the long essays I write about him.
Second off is that I appreciate how he's written, which ties into the first point. It's one thing to like a character in general, it's another to like BOTH the character and the writing for them. You can like a character who wasn't written well or to their full potential so long as you recognize that they could have been handled better (and this can allow you to make your own work addressing that!)
Ik we say it often in the utdr community (like every day) but Toby Fox is an amazing writer, and his talent shines through his characters in particular. Berdly is particularly outstanding in my opinion. It can never be said enough that Toby is incredibly talented and I just wanted to say that again here, I am infinitely jealous of everything he makes because I worry that I will never live up to it myself. (WRITING IS HARD)
What stands out to me the most about Berdly is not only his shocking amount of complexity, but also how he is written to be a lonely, not particularly likeable person who has a good heart nonetheless. He truly loves his friends. He's shown to be innocent, naiive, surprisingly kind, brave and headstrong, all alongside having a big ego and superiority complex. His personality isn't conventionally likeable or endearing, but if you take the time to know and understand him, you'll realize that by judging him and thinking of him as cruelly as many of the fans of the game did, you missed out on a truly wonderful character.
And this, I think is the point of why he's written the way he is. I swear Toby intends for you NOT to like Berdly, but this is because you don't understand him. That's why you're allowed to kill him. Toby's work has always been about themes like empathy and forgiveness and love so in writing a character in this way, he tests your empathy.
Berdly's a very real character. While many people like him in real life aren't as great as he is, we all have met or are going to meet someone like Berdly at some point in our lives. Hell, we might even BE the Berdly in our own lives ourselves.
He's a character that struck a strong chord with me on my first proper playthrough of the game. I felt a strong feeling of empathy for him and at the end of chapter 2, I was very mad at Toby for not letting me give him a hug.
Also he's fucking adorable and nobody talks about how cute he is! He's such a sweet, innocent little character... it would sure suck if anything bad ever happened to him...
OK I SHOULD SHUT UP ABOUT HIM NOW AND MOVE ON TO WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT BECAUSE IF I KEEP GOING I WONT STOP LMAO
Obviously the most important thing to making Krerdly content is dynamic between Kris and Berdly, or how I read it per my reading of Berdly.
Kris and Berdly have a classic dynamic that is perfect shipping fuel: a rivalry. But theirs is special.
Throughout the game and side material, it is strongly implied that Kris might actually really enjoy Berdly's company, and Berdly says and does a lot of things throughout the game (such as lowering the library fee) that indicate that he may view Kris as a friend. How close are they however? He definitely doesn't dislike them, but has a weird view on them; it seems he worries they might be his superior and because he holds his good grades above them, brags about them constantly. He tries to push them (and Susie) away and focus on working with Noelle at school because he thinks their presence will drag him down and possibly damage his reputation as the smart kid and his grades, and it's possible buried under this is a fear that they might actually outclass him somehow.
The reading of Kris that benefits this ship the most is that Kris loves Berdly for who he really is, and not for who he pretends to be. That, paired with their mischievous, teasing personality makes them a great potential partner for Berdly, whose personality of caring too much about what others think provides such a contrast between them that makes them a truly, truly precious couple.
What I've always loved about the content for them is how sincere it is. This is a cringey gamer couple. They are happy together and they love and accept each other for who they are. It's not often you find things like that IRL and when you do, you know you're lucky, so giving that to Berdly, who I think deserves it, is just nice and makes me happy.
I also like to imagine that a relationship can help Berdly better understand what love really is and what he really wants from a relationship. There's a lot to explore with Kris and Berdly as a couple that I find really interesting.
Anyway I can go on about them all day. I'm not even sure I answered your question bc I started rambling but hopefully you got something out of this.

I have listened to 74 and Skies Forever Blue.
Personally I... don't think either really has much of a connection to Deltarune? I just think sometimes, authors really like exploring certain themes over and over again. Toby seems to enjoy exploring metafiction in video games, and subversions about 'what the people who fill certain 'classic archetypes' 'classic archetypes' in stories. (And I can't blame him, personally. I keep thinking up and writing stories where the 'chosen one' is subverted somehow.)
Could Dess and Kris end up mirroring the Princess and Knight in 74? It's not impossible. I've actually heard the theory that Kris is opening Dark Worlds to search for Dess in isolation from the song 74 before now. I've also always wondered why the creator of the Dark Worlds is called the Knight, and not the Maker or Author or Dreamer or Dragon or something like that. If the person who happened to be creating Dark Worlds was introducing themself as 'the Knight,' that'd be one thing, but it strikes me as kinda strange that the role itself is called the Knight. Furthermore, as I've also theorized in isolation, if Dess is meant to be an Asriel/Flowey parallel, it's possible that she does want to be rescued deep down, but feels she doesn't deserve it and thus lashes out and shoves people away.
So, analyzing themes Toby has done before and a few things about Deltarune. It's not impossible. But we know so incredibly little about Dess that some of us can't even agree on her species, so this seems to be another thing that seems like a big stretch to theorize about. Even if I, personally, like this kind of character and subversion of a lot more than 'what if Dess was a HOOMAN'
...That sad. I'd actually say that Deltarune already seems to have two characters that fit this particular parallel and subverson. Berdly and Noelle on a Snowgrave work as slightly less of a stretch. But really not much of a 1-1 parallel. XD

My first thoughts after listening to 74 and Skies Forever Blue was that both of these protagonists have 'Asriel' Vibes - 74 & Asriel are twists on 'Fairytales' - 74 has a perverted Princess & Asriel is secret 'Frog Prince' - while Skies Forever Blue's Girl has a similar tragedy to Asriel - a videogame NPC who has fallen in love with a careless HeroTM - and turns self-destructive because of said love.
(Both Asriel & the Girl also have a moment where in lue of a missing protagonist, they take control of the videogame world around them, making themselves the Protagonist, if only for a moment.)
...Leads one to think that Toby Fox loves deconstructing childhood fairytales. Applies similarly to Toriel, Undyne, Asgore, and Chara - twists on the Witchy Stepmom, the Hero, the Evil Demon King, and the Player Character.
Kris is a 'Hero' - a Knight in Shining Armor - and the twist is in plain sight - they are a Villain too - the fountain creator - and capable of being pushed to hurt Noelle.
(Not a statement on whether Kris WANTS to be the Villain - I don't think they do - which is probably why they let themselves be possessed)
The Most Obvious 'Princess' is Noelle - she's fits the bill for nice, well-born, and extremely passive - and she reminds me a lot of the Princess from 74 - because underneath the role of Princess she hides a decently complex and powerful person - and her own ability to hurt people.
(Susie rounds out the triad by being a Dragon/Villain with the ability to be a Hero - though I think we're missing a good chunk of her story still for me to comment on this - right now I view her as a Shonen Hero (like Naruto) in denial of her role, who would rather give it up to Kris and Ralsei.)
(Ralsei is purposely making himself a Tutorial Tip Fairy - so there's not much going on there until he breaks and grabs protagonistdom by the reins.)
Pretty much on the nose that Berdly is a corrupted Knight with Noelle as his Princess - though I don't think he'll have a similar 'Role' in the future - I think he'll relax in future chapters - and his relationships with the class / his family explored more.
I like to think he has younger/older siblings, and that's why he's so pressured to stand out.

First off, I'm so damn sorry for overloading you with questions, you're the only person I can talk to regarding DB.
So I saw a tweet earlier today about a artist requesting other artists so show off their OC's unique transformations. Some where simple, complex, creative and all Saiyan. Then it hit me, other races have transformations that artists can work around. Except for human OCs the closest thing they get is Kaioken. Hell, I have 3 Earthlings OCs, and I can think of a transformation to save my life. I just focus on their respective fighting styles, development with said styles.😶
No problem. I like answering these kinds of questions. (This is like a week or two old by now tho. Sorry... 😅😓)
Its true that other aliens like Saiyans, Freeza, and now Piccolo have physical transformations. Humans don't, but they arent the only ones. Aliens like Hit and Jiren dont have transformations either.
Some ideas I have were mentioned with you before. (But for others who may have not read it, here are some links)
But, here's something kinda new.
Make Earthlings have ki based transformations. Krillin's NSS is a spiritual transformation (transformed ki). Take that idea and run with it. We could give Yamcha a wolf aura which means that an Earthling OC could be give animal auras that encompass the body as human transformations.
Or keep it simple like how SSJ is just a hair change and eye color change along with buffing up a bit. Take inspiration from Roshi's full power form but just make it so an Earhling OC gets a bit more swol but not at the cost of speed and mobility like Roshi's full power form and SSJ grade 3.
Another is to take inspiration from Toppo. He is an alien who doesnt naturally have a transformation, but using GoD energy, his body transformed into a buffer form. Along with a darker complexion and different aura as well as different colored eyes.
This way of designing a transformations is also similar to Piccolo's potential unleashed form where his skin tone changes and he buffs up more. So for a human OC, you could change their eye color, increase their muscle mass, and give them a different aura. The hair doesnt have to change color. That's a Saiyan thing at this point.
So to summarize my lengthy statements...
AURA CHANGE: Color, elemental design, animal aura, ect. Could have flaming aura like Jiren or a watering aura like Jiren's Super Full Power form, something like Toppo's GoD form, or like watery/misty like Krillin's NSS aura.
EYE COLOR CHANGE: Any color or even take away the pupils & irises. All white eyes can look cool. You can even change the eye shape like how the eyebrows connect to the eye when Saiyans go SSJ.
BODY CHANGE: This could be a muscle mass increase, a slight height increase, giving a character a darker skin complextion or a paler complexion. You could even give their skin tints of different colors like red, blue, yellow, orange, ect. Make them transform like the Hulk. You can even have a character turn green (or anither color) like Giovanna from Guilty Gear.
Could even have a talisman used to create a power up. Or even use magic as a power up.
For my OC, Tobi...
Tobi doesnt have a transformation like a Saiyan. He is half human and half Kitsun (fox alien race I made up). He has a few power-ups.
1. SHADOW KITSUN:
A out of control power resulting from Tobi's anger/saddness. Tobi's aura turns black and encompasses his body, making him look like a shadow then a new glowing white aura appears with particles of the aura drifting through the air. It offers better protection from physical and ki attacks but Tobi is barely concious as his emotions take control. Its a short lived power boost that quickly drains his ki. Kinda like how Goku using UI Omen for the first time didnt last long.
2. NON-SELF STATE:
He learns this from Krillin. In my story, Krillin improved it to the point that the 6 dots on his forehead glow white when using the power. (Like Omi from Xailon Showdown.)
For Tobi, his eyes turn a golden yellow while his aura is like Krillin's but he lacks the aura clad fists. This is Tobi's most stable form. He is in complete control of his emotions. His Shadow Kitsun form is in a way the opposite of NSS as well as the "Omen" form to his "Mastered" NSS form.
I was going to give Tobi a beast-like form where he kinda becomes a "were-fox" but, I think that kind of form is better fitting for the full-blood Kitsun characters I have. For them, the beastman form is their true self, but their more human form helps them reserve their power (similar to Zarbon or Freeza).
Anyway, that's how I make transformations for human characters. I take some inspiration from what we know about DB and some inspiration from other shows. I have a few other similar transformations for human characters, but I can speak of those another time.
I hope this helped give you some ideas of how to give your human OCs some transformations. The forms can be in your face changes or subtle changes. Do what fits for your characters. 👍

Asgore turned his gentle gaze on the child. The deep voice rose up

''I will leave tomorrow morning , I really miss my home Mr. Asgore''The child looked at Asgore with determined eyes
he has heard this countless times, human children. They are as important as his children, he loves them all. But why did fate take away his children? Again, they couldn't understand the scary and dangerous monster world behind the door of the ruins
''my child, we will talk about this tomorrow''Asgore got up and walked towards the door. He is dodging this
"Asgore I don't have time for this. I've been here 3 days, every time I talk about leaving you always avoid it. Why?"the child gets up from the bed
Asgore turned his head, the nightlight illuminating his sad face. His eyes looked at the child in front of him, he remembered that there were children who wanted to leave before

*Hug
''Asgore I know you're worried about me, but the monsters over there can't beat me''The child fearlessly approached the monster
''Believe me, I will get out of here and seek human help. You won't need to stay at the ruins anymore''the child shows the victory sign and smiles
Asgore fell to his knees, the fireball around him disappeared. He hugged the child tightly
'' I believe you , my child . Use your courage to get out of here, okay? Please come back"
'' I promise , thanks for all dad "
*when expected your soul to be filled with Bravery
Dad huh? Just one word it eased the pain in Asgore's heart
The next morning Robin left the ruins, and Asgore remained here waiting for that promise. Promises never come true...

I've gotten this reblog a long while back ago, and just want to point out a few things about those tags
1. Chapter 1 Susie also barks at you for going too slow before sprinting away. The moment is supposed to be where Kris and Susie don't have any bonds and she's still your bully, not Kris' bully, your bully, as she's nagging on how YOU play the game, going against how YOU wish to play. Especially if you go the Mercy routing, you have to take time to have enemies avoid Susie throughout. Still on this first point, Susie might not be Malnourished, she's not only taller than everyone else, but she's also physically intimidating to even the teachers. She's most likely underfed. Having enough to grow and operate, but not truly satisfy her body's growth and strength. (She gets enough nutrients from her diet but not energy, I've had this problem for quite some time myself looking back on it)
2. An exercise routine encapsulates the entire body, not just the arms, I never mentioned what kind of activities they did, just that an 8th grader/13yr old does more physically demanding exercises
3. I never mentioned it as a school activity. Yes, you can interpret this as Physical Education, the class where you exercise and play dodgeball (R.I.P. Dodgeball, they did you dirty). It's a class about learning exercises, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, muscular strength, body composition. It is a class where you gain several benefits and even learn very important routines unless you just don't participate. But the point of this was the age range when I mentioned 8th graders. 8th graders are still small and I would find it very easy to shove them over with being a foot taller and more years of experience pushing more people than them, and so would Susie. The point of the Grade is literally just a real world reference for how strong Susie is comparing Ralsei to and you somehow thought I was talking about schooling?
The point of this writing was just to simply have a character Dynamic happen. I thought Susie would be into exercising, as a form of escapism. Ralsei is a kind of character to accept participation in things as long as it doesn't get anyone hurt, and because Susie is their friend, why not?
I just wanna put a disclaimer that I usually write based off headcanon and make Non-canon AU content. Like Toby Fox said, these characters may seem the same, but they're not (usually I use tags as a reference to the fandom they're based on). I mean, FFS, it's just fun character dynamic writings. When I argue like this, I'm arguing against someone else's headcanon on the events of the game. Susie could in fact be Malnourished, but as you see I have a harder time believing that due to her physical strength and dominance over others, however, it's not explicitly stated, susie could just be a glutton, eating anything and everything out of boredom, and that can be a possibility, even though it would be unlikely. In any case, I just didn't like the tags. Feels like it's criticizing my writing but in a way that's only to someone's personal bias and viewpoint.

Don't Ever Forget...brother (Rebornplates one-shot)
Trigger warning: Major character's death
Zeyada, the Riverperson, brought their twin brother out of the Void. But no matter how hard they tried to save him...death will always find a way to shatter their reunion.
Ok, you guys will hate me for writing my first angst one-shot and behind the scene of a character's death, and this event takes place around chapter one. And I was sobbing like a baby for writing this, so, yeah. Oh, I was listening to Don't Ever Forget from the PMD series, and boy, that song is a tear-jerker.

Don't Ever Forget music belongs to The Pokemon Company
He couldn't do it. He just can't...as Zeyada was on the verge of tears while they watch their twin slowly turn to dust. Both brothers knew it was the end of their reunion even when Zeyada brought Gaster out of the VOID...saving him was meaningless. No matter how hard they tried to prevent their brother's fate, the results stayed the same....no one can escape death.
"B-bubba, I'm scared," Gaster weakly spoke as he was kept close to Zeyada's arm. "I-I don't wanna die...not yet." Zeyada didn't say anything; how could they? No words could express how they felt right now as they just sat silently while holding their brother close to their chest. "Brother? Do you still love me? Will you miss me? When I'm gone for good this time?" He asked them quietly as he weakly clung his hands to Zeyada's cloak.
*KLKL KLKL KLKL KLKL KLKL*
"Bubba? Are you-"
"I CAN'T DO IT. DAMN IT!!" They yelled as tears finally flowed as the dam shattered.
"!!"
"I-I CAN'T LOSE YOU, GASTER, NOT AGAIN!" They sobbed as it was hard for them since they had to let each other go, as it was the end of Gaster's life here on the EARTH as death was slowly drawing near. "P-PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!! I NEED YOU, BROTHER!!"
Gaster smiled weakly as his body slowly faded away; as he was tearing up, he had to be strong for his twin. "I know you do, Zeyada. But we both agreed that I must do this to redeem myself." He calmly said, "You wanted me to have a second chance to live a happy life, even if it meant giving up my memories to start a new one."
Poor Zeyada was shaken and sobbing as they knew their brother was right, and they couldn't stop death from doing its job like it is a cycle of life after all. Minutes slowly passed, and Gaster's body almost turned to dust; without losing a second, he had one last thing to say to his beloved twin.
"Bubba? Can you do me a favor before I fade away?" He asked his twin brother.
"W-what is it, brother?" they responded as Zeyada sniffed and wiped away the tears from his face.
"I-I want you to take care of Sans and Papyrus for me and raise them as your sons and tell them I'm sorry for everything I have done to them." He said, "And tell them I never hated them. I sincerely loved them the moment I first saw them, and they were the joy of my life...even if it was a short while."
Zeyada was shocked at what their brother had requested during his final moment, and without a second thought, they took his offer.
"Yes, my dear brother I-I will." He said again, crying as this was too much for them to bear. "I promise you I will love your sons and watch them grow into young adults."
"Thank you, Bubba," Gaster smiled one last time. "And please, don't ever forget...brother." Just like that, Gaster was gone only thing left of him was his dust and clothes still hanging on by Zeyada.
"G-gaster?"
"B-Brother?"
No response, only silence.
"WINGDING!!!!!!!!"
Zeyada cried out his deceased brother's name as they sobbed while clutching their brother's grey sweater, which was currently covered in dust. They kept sobbing over and over, knowing they had to do this...the rebirth...raising his nephews. It had to be done, for it was their brother's last wish. Maybe someday they'll meet again in the near future.

They shook their heads no. The nurses lowered their heads and some of them shed tears.
They put the bedsheet above his body.
They went outside.
Axe had his hands on his forehead. As soon as he saw the nurse he shoot up. He looked at her with anticipation.
She shook her head no.
Axe felt the ground disappearing under his feet.
He looked away from her. His soul sank.
"May I see him?" he asked. The nurse nodded a forlorn expression on her face.
She opened the door and let him in. He nodded thanking her. She left them alone.
....
Axe entered in. There was silence.
There was a soft light on the ceiling. He saw Saejun's body covered with the white bedsheet.
Axe's eye sockets burned, he blinked the tears away.
He walked towards him and stood for mere seconds. It was eerily quiet.
He took a shaky breath, stretched his shaking phalanges and took a hold of the bedsheet. He gently lifted it, uncovering his body.
Axe hiccuped a breath as he saw him. He just stared for a little bit.
Axe gently caressed Saejun's cheekbones with his index phalanx. Saejun looked peaceful as if he was just sleeping.
Axe continued caressing Saejun's mandible, collarbone, sternum.
As if he was the most precious porcelain in the world. Axe's touch was soft and tender.
Sans's bones were cold and had a grayish color.
Axe didn't like how cold Saejun was that's why he wrapped Saejun's body with the bedsheet.
He gently picked him up and hugged him. It's okay he had a lot of body heat to share.
Axe took Saejun's hand and held it to his face. He gave it a soft kiss and rubbed his cheekbone to it.
He gently shook him "wake up...it's not time to sleep..let's go home..you promised to show me your garden, orchard. You said.. you will tell me about the stars, the plants, the vegetables...."
Silence.
"Saejun... I.. I'll take you to my place, show you my works. How I carve wood.. I'll even help you make something.. Anything. We will make something together.. I.. I'll show you everything i know!"
Silence.
"Farmy...? We.. We promised to each other that we will do many things together.. You won't break that promise right?"
Noone answered.
Axe kept shaking him. Saejun's bones rattled.
No life.
Axe closed his eyes tightly shut. A sob escaped his teeth as he buried his face on Saejun's chest. The situation had settled in..
The grief and anger turned into a thunderous scream.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAARRGHHH!"
Axe hugged him tighter.
His mandible above Saejun's forehead. He held him close to his chest, securing him from the cruel outside world "Sae..jun..." he whispered "why? WHYY?!".
"IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME!"
"WHY DID YOU PUSH ME?! HE WAS AIMING AT ME!!"
Noone answered his anguished cries...
He didn't know how long he was there..
While hugging him an idea came to his mind.
Due to the universe he was coming from.. He couldn't heal easily.
Yet; he already lost everything he cared about...
So what was there to lose?
He could try..
He set Saejun down, carefully. Axe put his phalanges on Saejun's sternum and forehead.
He tried to heal him but couldn't form healing magic.
He tried again and again.
Saejun couldn't die.
Saejun was too young.
Saejun saved him.
Axe loved him!
They had promised to do many things, together.
Their promises will be fulfilled no matter the cost.
He felt the determination flowing through his soul.
He won't give up. HE WON'T GIVE UP!
Axe lifted and hugged Saejun tighter.
He tried again and again.
He concentrated. His entire being, everything that made Axe who he is. He concentrated to the positive feelings.
Hope,
Compassion,
Faith,
Magic,
L o v e
Love.. Not in a million years did he believe that a humble Farmer would change his life..
His compassion, kindness, affection...
Axe concentrated harder, his soul, energy and love made him able to cure.
He felt their souls being pulled out of their sternums. Green and blood red.
He felt the healing magic appearing in his hands.
"Come back to me" Axe whispered and tenderly kissed his forehead.
He felt healing magic flowing through his entire body. He brought his teeth closer to Saejun's.
He gave him a kiss as he pressed Saejun's body closer to his. Their souls and teeth touching.
Saejun... opened his eyes and gasped.
Axe's teeth were touching his; Giving energy (something like kiss of life, but Axe is giving energy).
Axe kept concentrating. He kept pressing Saejun's body closer to his.
"Breathe with me". Axe mumbled.
Saejun, slowly but surely, did. Swallow breaths became deeper.
Sans's chest slowly followed the rhythm.
"That's it! Breathe with me! In. Hold. Out. Again." Axe encouraged.
Their souls merged. Healing each other.
Axe healed Saejun's soul.
However, it's as if Saejun's soul knew the struggle the other soul went through to help it.
So, for this exact reason Saejun's soul offered as much energy and healing as it could provide.
The two souls helped each other.
"I love you!" Axe said and with that the procedure ended. Axe gently laid him down; never leaving his hand.
It seems that the light and energy had caught the nurses and doctors attention.
Nurses run in with Papyrus (Saejun's brother).
Axe gave too much energy. He closed his eyes exhausted, his skull fall above the bed..
.......
Papyrus removed Axe and held him away from Sans.
Papyrus looked at the doctors as they began checking Saejun's body. He showed signs of life.
A nurse motioned Papyrus to follow her outside. Papyrus nodded and left the room.
.
.
Saejun opened his eyes and gasped hungrily.
He coughed and groaned in pain.
The doctors added a magic IV and a breathing mask above his nasal cavity.
It took some minutes for him to calm down.
The doctors noticed that his sternum injury hadn't healed.
They checked his soul. His soul seemed fine...And..
Oh...
Oh! Would you look at that!
Saejun's soul had a red heart shaped dot to the spot where the bullet had hit him.
The doctors looked surprised, yet they sighed with relief and took care of his sternum.

.
.
Papyrus carried Axe to another room and the nurse examined him. Axe seemed fine physically, the nurse summoned Axe's soul.
Axe's soul, had small green heart-shaped dot at the center of his soul.
Moreover a crack from long ago had healed leaving a green line.
Papyrus stayed with him. The nurse added an IV and let him rest..

.
(some time later)
Axe's skull and thorax ached.
«Ugh... What happened?
My skull, my thorax , where am I ?»
His skull throbbed. He tried to concentrate his sensations.
He was laying in something soft, he heard a beeping noise and murmurs. A voice "He is awake.."
He opened his eyes. Everything was cloudy.
Axe blinked a couple of times and rubbed his skull.
He carefully sat up. He felt strong humeri wrapping around him. He was pressed on a body. He blinked a little more.
Papyrus hugged him. "You saved my brother!", there was relief, gratitude in his voice.
Axe was confused "what?"
Papyrus smiled and looked at the side.
It took some time to understand what was happening. He followed Papyrus's gaze and saw..
"Saejun?" he asked not believing his own eye sockets.
Sans turned his head and looked at Axe. A soft, weak smile appeared on his face.
He was weak but, alive .
Axe felt his grin stretching.
Saejun had bandages around his chest. He smiled weakly, " heya" he whispered.
Saejun slowly sat up, Axe's body wobbled but stood strong.
Axe hugged him tenderly. He noticed some bruises from clenching him so hard, he caressed them, feeling guilty.
Saejun sensed it "You saved my life, don't worry about it!" he slurred.
Axe hugged him carefully, Papyrus was just glad they were alive.
Axe carefully kissed Saejun's cheekbone and caressed his back.
Tears of happiness ran down his cheekbones.
"I love you my little strawberry 🍓" Saejun whispered tenderly.
Axe smiled and managed to say "I love you too my little kiwi 🥝".

Writer's Month 2023, Day 18: "Free"
Original fiction, specifically the Fairy/Changeling WIP
Status/Word count: A little vignette, 609 words.
Summary: A five-year-old changeling has a philosophical disagreement with Aesop's Fables.
Toby the pooka couldn't read. It seemed that human children his age were usually starting to learn, but it wasn't the sort of thing they taught in Elphame. At least, they hadn't taught him. Why bother, given what they had planned to do to him?
Now Toby lived in the human world, with a human family. His new father and brothers could all read. Even the youngest of his older brothers, who seemed to enjoy showing off this talent.
Right now, he was reading Toby a story about a wolf and a dog. They were talking to each other. This was odd, since they were mortal animals rather than fairies, but apparently this was something called "artistic license." The dog was trying to convince the wolf to come live in a house like him.
"'...and fa-awn on the people of the house. In re-turn you will get'" His brother screwed up his face "'tid-bits of every kind, chicken bones, choice bits of meat, sugar, cake, and much more be-side, not to speak of kind words and car—car-ess-es.' I think that means hugs," he added, glancing up at Toby.
Toby nodded. Then he transformed into a wolf puppy, still clad in his oversized pajamas.
"Dad says not to do that. You'll rip your clothes."
"I only ripped them when I turned into a horse."
His brother turned back to the book. "He'll still be mad about you gettin' hair on the bed."
Toby chuffed and turned back, then took a few seconds to adjust his clothes again.
His brother continued the story. The dog and the wolf were going home now, until the dog started telling the wolf how he was chained up every night to keep from running away.
"'What! A chain!' cried the Wolf. 'Don't you go were—werver—where-ev-er you please?'
"'Not al-ways! But what's the dif-fer-ence?' re-pli-ed the Dog.
"'All the difference in the world! I don't care a...rap? for your feasts and I would-n't take all the ten-der young lambs in the world at that price.' And away ran the Wolf to the woods.' The end," his brother said decisively, closing the book.
Toby frowned. "The end?"
"Yeah."
"...I don't like that one. I wanted the wolf to go home with the dog."
His brother began to answer, when their father called his name from another room. "Coming!" He crawled off of Toby's bed and out of their room, leaving the book behind him.
Though he couldn't read, Toby picked up the book and looked at the pictures. He saw the wolf running into the woods, while the dog watched in confusion. You could see the fur worn away on his neck, and Toby's rubbed his own, but his face was sour.
Toby had spent a long time living in the woods, alone. Often as a wolf, or a fox or a bird. It hadn't felt like freedom. He'd spent all that time trying to find a human to take him in.
His new family went camping a lot. Toby still got to run around as a wolf when he wanted. That was fun. But it was fun because he had his dad and brothers with him, knowing that they would bring him back to their warm, safe house in the end. Chasing rabbits was better when he didn't have to catch them, because Dad would cook him dinner rather than let him starve.
"Stupid wolf," Toby mumbled. "He don't know what he's missing."
Toby put his hand on the picture, and almost unconsciously, turned into a dog. After a moment, he remembered his dad's rule and turned back into a boy again.

So I went on the wiki here's all the info about this AU
I'll refrence heavily from these events but I want you guy's to know this now cause I don't really have any faith in my writing skills
Gentale is an Undertale AU made by Youtuber . After being driven Underground, Sans and Papyrus lived on the streets for several years, scrounging for scrap and spare change just to survive. It wasn't until Sans met Asgore, who was friends with his mother, the Captain of the Royal Guard Arial, and his father, Doctor W.D. Gaster, that things began to look up.
In addition to being taken in by his father and finally having a home and a steady supply of food to live on, Sans and Papyrus also spent a lot of time with the royal family, becoming close friends with both Asriel and Chara and being considered surrogate children by the King and Queen.
Things would not stay this way forever, and much like the events of many other versions of them, Chara and Asriel enacted a plan to free the monsters, which failed. From that point onward, events began to spiral down a dark path. Asgore declared war on humanity and began to kill the children who would fall into the Underground, believing it to be the only option and slowly self-destructing as he fell further and further into despair. Toriel left Asgore and sealed herself away in the Ruins, abandoning the kingdom for years to come.
When Sans saw how Asgore was falling apart, he agreed to allow his father to perform a procedure on him to enhance his abilities to turn him into what could be considered a living anti-human weapon, as he took on the burden of killing both the Patience and the Justice souls to spare his surrogate father the pain of doing so himself. As the years passed, Sans spiraled further and further into his own depression, which was only exacerbated when Gaster attempted to kill him, forcing Sans to push him into the Core in self-defense.
It was a fateful day when Sans decided to pay a visit to the grave of Asriel and Chara, as it had been several years since the last time that he had visited, as full of shame and grief as he was. Nobody could have expected what had happened during that visit, but when Sans left, he was accompanied by the Phantom of Chara, who through unknown means had awakened and found their spirit bound to Sans.
Sans's personality and abilities have drastically changed due to Chara's presence, and more things will continue to change as time passes and the story continues onward.
And Gentale was created by Gemtem and Undertale was created by Toby Fox.

Sans was laying down in his room arguing with Chara about which food was better Chocolate Ketchup or both, and for them, it has become a daily conversation but what happens when they suddenly hear a voice in their heads asking? Hi Sans and Chara... Hello Sans said They search around the room until they see a portal open up. Sans quickly gets ready to fight summoning a knife and a gaster blaster as outcomes.
Hello Sans and then she looks at Chara and says hello to you as well Chara I am responsible for the voice in you'r heads. Or skeleton and spectral head he. The people in your head are called askers their beings from across the void and I give them the ability to talk to you think of these guys as a gift. So after this, you'll be getting a lot of questions so enjoy. I'll pop in from time to time and also here are two bracelets for you guys to put on now goodbye.

Sans: I like Chara more but yeah Alphys and I go way back she helped me out when I was younger... actually we use to date now we're just friends pretty sure she got a thing for Undyne now but uhh I go over and watch some anime with them every once and a while.

Chans:... How we met I think we both remember it like it was yesterday. It happened a month or so after Chara's death and we moved to Snowdin then I went to visit Chara's/my grave and I/he found my ghost and once he went to my body I woke up cause our souls are bonded. So once that happened he could see me and we've been partners ever sense.

So I google it Sanses Birthday andbefore it was july second and Chara's was July seventh and because of that I couold of had a good Toriel scene where Toriel and Sans eat Pie with eachother and just talk with Chara just watching but now what was said before disappeared and it's now stated that Classic sans birthday is on April 1 but i'm lazy so the chapter after Sans B-day it'll be Chara's B-day than Papyrus which i'll probably let y'all add stuff to it and so i'm just gonna make the fact that Sanses Birthday is july 2 Chara's is july 7 and Papyruses is july 10.
