I'm confused. I don't understand how one minute, you say you ship Forwood and have Forwood content on your blog. But then most of your other posts about Caroline are bashing her and saying how she's useless, irrelevant, and annoying. Basically implying that as a person on her own and outside of her relationship, she isn't worthy and has no purpose or agency of her, and is only capable of being interesting and likable based on the guy she's with.

You're not required to like Caroline, but it doesn't take liking her to see how harmful and problematic this kind of mentality is. I don't know what's gotten into fans recently, that they suddenly have it out for Caroline, but the things I've seen being said about her lately are just not acceptable. She may not have been a perfect person, but regardless of what she did, that's no excuse for people to dog her out the way they have. I mean, you're acting as if Caroline is the devil incarnate or some kind of terrorist or something. And just because she was my favorite, doesn't mean I approved or agreed with everything she did. But unlike you and most fans, I know how to give constructive criticism and hold people accountable without having to dogpile on that person.

And as for Elena, I did like her in seasons 1-3, but seasons 4 and onwards? I'm sorry, but she was just vile and horrible. I will never stand by and defend or make excuses for someone who knew for a fact that her boyfriend raped and abused her best friend, and still chose to be with him anyway and just didn't care. Whether you like Caroline or not, regardless of you thought she was useless and all that, that doesn't change the fact that at the end of the day, Damon did rape her and abuse her in season one. It doesn't make what he did null and void. Unless you're one of those who's in denial and refuses to accept that Damon is a rapist and abuser. Or who victim blames/shames Caroline for that and says she deserved it. Which in that case, you've got bigger issues and are just as bad as all the rest of them.

Why don't you keep that same energy and aim that vitriol at characters who actually deserve it, and have done shit far worse and more abhorrent than Caroline? Like the majority of the men on the show? But I seem to have forgotten that men can do vile shit time and time again and still get defended. While if a woman makes even one mistake, she'll be burned at the stake over it for the rest of her life.

I “like” Caroline with Tyler because she’s forced upon me but when she’s with Tyler, she’s contained into that relationship and I don’t have to deal with her crap & her drama. So I liked them in sense it gives me a break from Caroline. She doesn’t have to shoved everywhere.

Tyler makes her bearable. I “ship” them in the sense of Caroline must be with someone because she’s there then I would prefer her to be with Tyler rather than anyone else on the show, I would “ship” her with Matt as well because it’s literally the same.

I never defend Damon or reblog any posts defending that rapist, it’s honestly disgusting that they actually made him & Caroline “close friends” or whatever bullshit is that. He has shown NO remorse or guilt for what he did to Caroline, or Bonnie or Stefan for that matter.

I’m disgusted that I was hardcore Delena shipper & Damon defender (never about what he did to Caroline, as a Delena shipper I just conveniently forgot what he did, no seriously I did)

Damon is an ACTUAL CREEP, hanging out with teenagers looking his age a man in his 30’s paining over a teenager he hardly knows/understands, where his whole life purpose is to just obsess with her 24/7.

It’s honestly pathetic, creepy and weak. What he couldn’t find someone closer to his age, a woman in her 20’s-30’s?

He has to go after his brother girlfriend? Why it does NOT add or make any sense and Elena is NOT at all the right fit for him in any shape or form, even if he wasn’t a rapist, creepy stalker he does NOT like WHO she is, he does NOT care about the things & people that matter to her, he mocks it, he belittles it and he literally thinks he “knows her better” because Elena has a fun side to her. He does NOT actually know her NOR UNDERSTANDS NOR love her, he loves the “nicer” version of Katherine (the only woman he actually truly loved with all her evilness) which is what Elena is to him, nothing more nothing less, Damon 100% PROJECTS Katherine into Elena but this version is actually nice to him but that’s about it.

The fact in his delusion after yeh werewolf but in 2x22 he “sees” Katherine and NOT Elena (even as Delena shipper back then I found that to very odd, because he supposedly spent the whole season hating Katherine & loving Elena yet he sees Katherine) just proves that he never actually stopped loving Katherine, she just hurt too many times and he has pride, had Katherine truly offered to be with him at any given time a real offer, I 100% know he would have taken her upon that offer and they would been the villains of the show for years (oh wait even though they weren’t together, they kind of were)

Damon is literally the male version of Katherine, the only difference Damon being a handsome “charming” MAN he was EXCUSED for all of his actions, he was DEFENDED endlessly Inter expense of other characters and freaking storylines.

The Damon the whole fandom seems to love oh so much is literally a made up Damon in their heads, I know this through my own personal experience and from how the still Delena stand defend him, this “sad little boy who was never loved hence he did all these awful things” he just needs the “love of a good woman” is what they want to believe him to be, it’s NOT who he truly is.

The reality is that Damon is pathetic, creepy, disgusting stalker/rapist and if Damon wasn’t played by such an attractive actor and played by an average looking guy who they (the make up artists)?also make him ugly with the right makeup, people would see the REAL Damon for exactly who is.

The reason you don’t like Elena S4-S6 is because that’s NOT the real Elena, the real Elena “died” when she became a vampire, her moments with Stefan before she broke up with him, that’s also the REAL Elena FIGHTING very hard to stay herself.

The Elena that’s with Damon is vampire sired Elena, and there was never an actual logical or real explanation or any kind of REAL evidence that her sire bond to Damon was ever actually broken.

The fact that she didn’t take the cure shows that NOT the real Elena, that she STILL did whatever Damon wanted (which for her to never to take the cure). Throughout S4 all she ever wanted to become human again and I would think that after her brother died to make sure they find it, that she would actually take it, if nothing else, she would take it for Jeremy’s sake so that his death actually means something.

Now onto your issue with me not liking Caroline, I literally NEVER ever liked her, not for one real minute, sure she had her moments here & there as vampire but I NEVER liked, she’s annoying af, selfish, shallow, stupid, self created and just right down BORING and stereotypical. She’s just an empty pretty vase/vessel for the writers to fill with whatever bullshit story they come up with.

I have actually tried to like her, believe it or not but I literally COULDN’T, just truly can NOT like her at all, she’s too blah as a person to me ever like or relate to in any shape or form.

Her fans/stans also just made it much worse, I didn’t like her but I have grown to hate her over the years because fans/stans such as yourself, who just can’t accept that there are people out there who hate/dislike their “precious” Caroline and nitpick onto other characters or much worse bully & give life threatening messages just because people actually “dared” to HATE their “precious” favorite Caroline, this “angelic Karen, Barbie vampire” who can do NO wrong at all, and everyone “must” be crazy about her.

Now as I have already explained everything to you, even as someone who hates/can’t stand Caroline, carline has never loved anyone to else as much as she loved Tyler, whoever ships Caroline with Klaus clearly does NOT love Caroline because she has made so very extremely and very annoyingly clear she is NOT interested in Klaus.

So if you shop Caroline & Klaus, you are shipping two people who do NOT actually exist (just like Delena or Hayley & Elijah) they are NOT their TRUE/REAL selves when these couples are shipped, simply projection of what people think these characters are.

I hope i answered everything and that next time you don’t just assume things about a person then hide behind “ anonymous” to feel as if you are a better person or whatever.

On the topic of media consumption, I also like a lot of ships that others don’t, and will not tolerate hate. Crossmare has been my comfort pairing since long before Underverse season 2 was even out, and I am not ok with people who think it’s “inherently abusive”. As long as a pairing is not child x adult or family x family, I don’t believe it can be inherently abusive. As long as someone’s specific depiction of the ship isn’t abusive, they shouldn’t get flack for it. However, if you ARE someone who romanticizes abusive versions of these ships, please get out.

Also note that due to my nebularomanticism (arospec umbrella), I do not know what the fuck romantic love is supposed to feel like or look like, the lines between strong platonic bonds and romance are so blurry they barely exist for me, and such- all of my ships are queerplatonic in some way. I have never seen any ship as solely romantic and I don’t think I’m capable of that. But I also do not limit the types of intimacy I depict these characters having. If you’re not ok with queerplatonic kissing or holding hands or other forms of “romantic gestures” or if you think they can’t exist, get out.

Keep in mind that while my art and personal works ARE here, this blog IS a personal blog. I DO vent on here and often talk about personal topics. Be aware. And just because I share an opinion of mine doesn’t mean that I think it’s super important or right, it’s just how I feel. Just saying this because if you follow me you should be prepared to deal with what I post, and if you don’t like me that’s ok just leave.

This is really weird to say when it’s common knowledge that Dan fans have been harassing that blog with racially charged abuse, d*ath threats and hate for years on here , today included. The post in the main tag isn’t cool but at least have some contextual awareness 🤥

Respectfully anon, I don’t think it’s weird to call that blog vile for the comments they made. Daniel fans harassing them is something that they have claimed (but idk how you can be completely sure that they are just daniel fans when that blog self admittedly hates 90% of the grid). Anyways, harassing is wrong in either circumstances and anyone that engages in it, daniel fans included, can go fuck themselves.

My problem with the blog is the amount of hateful comments they make about daniel and then tag it in his main tag and then act like a victim when his fans get mad.

However at least, they are self aware enough to say that they have issues and hate almost everyone so they can say whatever vile things they want, but keep it in their blog. Half the hate they claim to receive would go away if they stop tagging all of this hateful shit in his main tag. (I mean all of it could stop if they stop being hateful and just focus on their driver but i respect the issues they have i guess). Also with the amount of posts they have made about daniel, might as well add a 3 in your bio, but that’s another conversation😂.

^ So this is actually ableism. ^ Lots of very nasty ableist projecting here which is disappointing but quite common on this site.

Chronic pain, fatigue, and brain fog are a thing. Limitations are a thing. My pain and meds wrecking my cognitive function, my symptoms demanding I take a break so I don’t go into the red and puke are a thing. My very nerve pain from using my hands is literally why I had to give up so many things, and why I can’t edit or type that much in a given day. It’s called disability for a reason.

(I queue most posts after chipping away at them. Only some posts are spontaneous.)

This is why we even use the concept of spoons. If I need to stop and save spoons to drive an hour to my doctor appt, or even just save them to cook a meal later, then I HAVE to do that. And I’d rather post something and ask for assistance from others who feel up to it than have a post keep sitting in my drafts for months and months. I have 2 year old posts I just can’t get my brain working for.

You’re so close with “energy magically disappeared”—so close. Bc that’s actually how disability and chronic illness is. Moment to moment we don’t know how we’re going to feel or when we’ll need to take a break.

It’s so funny bc the reason my backlog has gotten so much bigger over the past 3 years is bc I take so long to subtitle clips and write ID’s.

I’m not mad at you, but boundary-wise, it isn’t okay for you to take out your frustration with the community on me just bc I’m an easy and accessible target to anon rage at. I would recommend talking about this stuff in your journal or with a trusted friend or mental health professional before running off to say mean things you may later feel bad about.

Thank you to those who have always helped to ID things without judgment or projection. It seriously means so much bc I’ve got a lot on my plate with my health and home and job rn. I’m grateful for your kindness and for you seeing me as human and not just a content creation machine. I’m glad to be part of a community that understands that it’s okay to ask for help and to help each other. I’m glad we don’t have this unhealthy mindset of “I MUST do it myself or I’m a bad person.”

The problem when people say that they’re tkkrs, and they don’t engage in the vile rhetoric they often times spew + they say they love Jimin is the fact that there is no accountability and it makes them complicit to the other shit tkkrs do.

I’m not even defending jkkrs because they have a problem of their own, BUT the difference is that a MAJORITY of people who love and support Jikook call each other out. Whenever we see misinformation being spread we do our best to correct it and snuff it out and we come with facts and receipts. We hold each other accountable so that we make sure Jungkook, Jimin and Tae are humanized and not seen as characters in an AU.

So even though you - anon wants us to believe that tkkrs are nice and pro Jimin, the reality is that because your breed continues to be toxic, continues to spread lies, continues to harass people when the narrative doesn’t fit to your advantage, and continues to fetishize and I want to make it clear IT IS fetishizing, that even though they’re “nice” you’re also all silent.

The fact that your solution is to block and report but not try to correct the narrative not only proves the way you are complicit but it shows that looking away from the problem IS why tkkrs are so toxic.

And I’ve been an ARMY for YEARS, YEARS, and no matter how nice you tell me tkkrs are at the end of the day, as you said, anon, it’s used as a way to “de-stress” and ship fictional/non-fictional couples together, it invalidates the point you’re trying to make because TAE, JUNGKOOK AND JIMIN are real people. Imma just also add that it's not a flip of a coin to just trust anyone honestly. The amount of people I trust on this app I can count on one hand. And yall know who you are 🥰 I've yet to find a tkkr that ships taekook and doesn't let the harmful narratives spread around continue to be spread around. It's kinda like how people say "its not all men" when women talk about our experiences in the world and when the #/me too movement was happening. "It's not all tkkrs" gives the same energy. I understand where everyone is coming from here, but it is what it is. If it's not you, then you don't need to defend tkkrs or shipping. If you aren't doing these things and you are standing up against it or trying to call people out, then you don't need to get upset. No one then is talking about YOU. But if you aren't doing those things, then you are part of the problem too. And that goes for all shippers too.

Okay but how often do you or any lesbians actually confront that behavior from other lesbians? I mean, that's what this whole Thing is about right, actually taking action against the bad elements within your group?

You (plural) don't actually seem to mind much when people call bi women dicksuckers, or joke about how bi women aren't really oppressed, or joke about our "nigels" killing or raping us, or any of the other vile things people say about bi women. It doesn't distress you, it doesn't even seem to make you think worse of those people. Not a single of those replies has a lesbian challenging that behavior, in this post or any of the ones those people haunt. One of those women was literally making fun of a bi person's SA - some of their little group laughed along, and no one said shit to confront it.

At most, you decry "misogyny" in the abstract - in separate posts, never addressing specific behavior, never addressing patterns in who gets talked about this way. In your words "nothing much to add here". Or you might give them a polite and sympathetic reply that expresses gentle disagreement at most but doesn't address any of the vile things they said. That was your route here, right?

So like... I just want to understand. Bi Women are clearly rape-loving predators that can't take criticism and are committed to homophobia if they don't want to be blamed for a man's actions. Clear proof of their moral degeneracy and unwillingness to do better, and if they had any moral fiber they'd be happy to generalize bi women as predators and tackle the issue within their community.

But when gay people either simply ignore or actively laugh along to shit like "you can't reason with parasites that were born semen brained", "hope your nigel kills you", "dicksuckers aren't allies", "bisexuals need to be exterminated for the good of society", "bisexuals lie about being raped you're falling for their sob stories", and other forms of biphobia and misogyny, this says nothing about the state of the gay community and its willingness to accept conditional misogyny, biphobia, and homophobia? These were quotes from at least five different people, so don't tell me it's just one person, and there were plenty more reblogging or laughing along to those comments. No criticisms at all.

Look, I apologize for how long this got. I do get that bisexuals have privilege over lesbians, and there's more of us. I'll continue do as much as I can to confront homophobia from bisexuals when it happens, I don't want solidarity or community with people like that. But I'm not going to pretend it isn't shattering some part inside me that even when people mock our sexual assault, the ONLY reply from non-bisexuals is laughter. We may have privilege over homosexuals but we are still a sexual minority in our own right with our own struggles and I think people truly forget that if they're comfortable making, laughing to, or ignoring rape or abuse jokes about us.

See, I can actually acknowledge that myself and other lesbians can do better at calling out misogyny in our own community. I can be completely honest and admit that I’ve let it slide because my energy has been used up fighting homophobia from people who are actively hurting homosexuals on a large scale, as well as the misogyny from men that hurts women on a large scale…and I don’t have much left to be going after misogynistic lesbians who aren’t causing that same level of damage. What I’ve noticed is that this behaviour from lesbians is a response to lesbophobia they’ve faced. I don’t believe it’s a good way of expressing one’s frustration with homophobia, because you can criticise somebody’s beliefs and behaviour without degrading her on the basis of her sex. So my “route” is to usually speak with compassion and try to get to the root of the issue which is pain from experiencing homophobia, which is then expressed as misogyny towards homophobic women (which again, I do not agree with. Idk if you’ll actually believe me when I say that because you seem to be picking apart everything I say, including me saying “nothing much to add here” on an ask about this to signify that I agree with it and feel the ask covered everything I’d have said myself).

I think it’s also worth noting that if we’re going to compare lesbian misogyny towards bi women and bi women’s lesbophobia, I’ve only really seen heavily misogynistic lesbians in small online chunks of lesbians. I’ve seen lesbophobic bi women EVERYWHERE.

All of the behaviour you described is disgusting. But I can’t help but feel that this ask in particular is less “hey, let’s talk about this” and more “how dare you say this about bi women when you’re doing this? You’re worse!”.

Unpopular Opinion;I'd rather have show!Annabeth as a kid with dark hair and eyes. Honestly,the whole "grey eyed blonde Athena kids" was odd in the books,and would be even worse in live action,IMO. While I like seeing fanarts of show!Annabeth with blonde hair and/or grey eyes,I don't see why this detail has to be faithful to the books. Besides,I feel the same about Percy,if to a lesser degree.

Sorry for answering this so late, I’m not really active on Tumblr therefore I tend to forget to check whether or not I’ve received some asks and I tend to take a while for answering them anyways. Also, this is going to get very long and rambly, so prepare yourselves!

My opinion on this whole casting situation and book accuracy is: I legit don’t give a fuck. More than that, I just side-eye people that were freaking the fuck out.

I essentially cut contact with 98% of this fandom (aside from few core groups) and left Tumblr last year because it’s a toxic mess and I try to avoid other PJO related social media branches (with the exception for AO3 for dumping my Percabeth fics, next one coming up soon <3) because they’re more than often even WORSE (!) than this hellsite but I still can’t escape casting news. So it’s incredibly hilarious to see so many people freaking the fuck out over something they have little to no control about.

My wonderful friend @mapendo-c essentially brought it to the point with this post but let me add my two cents to this entire situation:

2020 was hell on tumblr for the black crowd, let’s not act like it wasn’t (it was hell for black people in general if you care enough to remember). From harrassing the black PJO Tumblr side, to straight up lying to us, to doxxing, to us being called slurs in DMs and asks, to receiving open death threats and being sent lynching videos, we had it ALL. Some people that were directly confronted with this shit victimized themselves and fled the scene to this day, literally going out with a bang. Congratulations for that, BTW.

And that was only because a few people started to create PJO artwork that involved Percy of Color. Being more open to otherness. Critizing the white status quo and branching out. Questioning the constant projection onto these characters. That set a chain reaction into other endeavors and arguments but alas, this is already enough babbling.

The fact that we had over 17 years of artwork and fics and videos and movies filled with Cocaine White Percy wasn’t enough for some of you. No, you had to break the spirits of those that are a minority and do not look like you. All of that shit was so unwarranted and unnecessary.

And then when you got warm to the idea of Token Black Percy (in 2021 might I add), you were delighted to see that he would be indeed white in the TV series as announced in the past few months. But oh wait… What was that?? Is it a bird, is it a plane? No?

ANNABETH ISN’T WHITE.

The whole world just got hit by a big rock and the apocalypse is nearing. The way some of y’all acted… Doing the same exact vile shit that you were doing in 2020 to a twelve year old, because she got the role of her life (so far) in portraying a major fictional character… The fact that y’all lost your goddamn mind without having even seen Leah act is MIND-BLOWING.

The same people accusing the black side of the fandom of likely being aggressive towards White TV Show Percy (before casting confirmation which also — newsflash — didn’t happen) are now the same fucking people freaking out about Leah as Annabeth. Tale as old as time.

I said this two years ago and most of y’all stank bitches proved me right: “Let’s be real: if Annabeth Chase would be black for example with the way she behaves, 85% of the fandom would hate her, cry for Perachel and Percabeth would be the least popular ship. I don’t trust people who are saying the opposite.”

As if anything else was about to happen… if I’m to believe certain Twitter threats and Reddit posts (taken with the biggest grain of salt ofc), some people where close to unaliving themselves because we all seemed to collectively have forgotten that Annabeth stans (this is coming from a core Percabeth shipper, so don’t come for me!) are fucking INSANE. Imagine loosing your shit on a harmless decision like a differing casting choice. Some of y’all need psychiatric help, ESPECIALLY looking at you

I absolutely do not get why people get worked up about this. The minute a live version (aka NOT animation) project was announced, all of you should have collectively kissed the idea of a 100% book accurate adaptation goodbye, just as with the movie version.

Do I think the show version will be closer to the books?

Yes.

Do I think it’ll be a 1 on 1 adaptation?

Absolutely not.

The announcement of the blind casting and therefore going for talent approach should’ve cemented the fact that this show won’t be book accurate at all.

How difficult is it to understand for some of you that the image of Annabeth, Percy, the storyline and everything else that you made up in your mind will NEVER be depicted on screen??? This is purely from a logical standpoint. I know Disney has resources and shit but they aren’t infinite. They have to break even eventually. I guess none of y’all have absolutely any idea how the medium of film works behind the scenes.

Even Riordan’s (as the author with actual authority) initial version is impossible to bring to the screen. Trust me, there will be other things omitted or added to the show. You can either tune in, or don’t. It’s as simple as that. That is the only thing you can influence.

Coming to the next point: do all of these changes even matter?!

Stripping Annabeth and Percy of their default hair/eye/skin color doesn’t really change anything that significantly imo??

If you are reducing Annabeth and Percy to their appearance and not the character, what they have as traits and could represent that’s on you, sweetie.

Additionally, most of y’all are ignoring the polar opposite: the nuances and depth Black Annabeth (less so White Percy tbh) could add are entirely forgotten. How they could enrich the story, bring other perspectives in and give in Annabeth’s case the opportunity for black girls that are sexualized and treated like complete shit everywhere else on the planet (anti blackness and misogynoire say hello!) a chance to see themselves portrait in a multi-dimensional character but NOOOOOOOO!

Y’all act as if Californian Dream girl blonde, tall, tanned Anna Bethany “my father went to Harvard and I’m a descendant of Scandinavian royalty and only white people live in Sweden” Chase lives the same life and is equally as oppressed as characters like Hazel or Beckendorf. You know… the little black girl that lived through segregation, got cursed, killed and resurrected and has Hitler as her fucking half-sibling, and the token negro who was one of the very FEW diverse characters in the OG book series that got BLOWN THE FUCK UP as a plot point.

I’m not saying that Annabeth doesn’t have her fair share of issues, all I’m saying is SHE’S NOT FUCKING OPPRESSED. Her problems are not the same in comparison to Hazel, Piper, Leo, Beckendorf, Reyna and others. I know white women loooove playing the victim (see: current real world issues where instead of listening to the warnings of black and brown women and people decades ago, they just sat around until they were on the receiving end for once), but no. This is not the fucking same.

Like you, @mrhomerxsimpson have said, the OG descriptions sound unrealistic and would look tacky in the live action. Fanart ≠ real portrayal of characters. Having sparkly glowing sea green eyes would look weird in reality. The focus of Annabeth’s on her gray eyes… this is readable but would likely transfer poorly onto the screen.

And let’s not forget the trashy exotic portrayal of Cinnamon Toast Hazel and Kaleidoscope Eyed Piper. Let’s just let people and characters of color chill for a while. Please.

I’ve said it ages ago and I’m too lazy to look it up but I think that as long as Percy and Poseidon reassemble each other slightly, the show will be fine. And if these people can act. Also important.

I do not condone death threats or any other harassment or hateful/violent speech towards any human being. However,,, letting someone know they are actively causing harm and by knowingly doing so have lost my respect and any trust/validity in my eyes is NOT harassment. It is simple fact.

I made my own rant post about this very thing: seeing a bunch of BJ’s gleefully running back to CR because of Im/odna, and being frustrated and confused by it. Wondering why they would willingly go back to a thing that hurt them. And I said stuff about me not seeing any solid evidence that they’d take it to a romantic place and that there’s a higher probability that they’re just fucking around. That they’ll essentially ‘gal pal’ it.

The thing about that stance though? I don’t want to be proven right. I don’t want to continue being right about terrible shit. I WANT to be proven wrong. I want CR to be better now than it was in C2. I want the cast to be more respectful towards their audience and not end up going “Ha ha! Psyche! We didn’t really mean it!”

I actually DO want this all to work out for the better. And for two reasons 1) because I want the BJ’s who are all-in for Im/odna to have something good to look forward to for once. Something to celebrate. And 2) I want them to be able to say to all of the bitter BY bitches, “We told you so. Everything we speculated was correct. We were right, you were wrong. Eat shit!” I want them to have something to rub in the faces of all the pricks who are actively rooting for Im/odna to fail.

Even with me. I will GLADLY eat shit too for doubting. If Marisha and Laura go full throttle to Romance Town, those same BJ’s are more than welcome to flood my inbox with unabashed gloating. And I will be thrilled.

I would gloat right along with them. Everyone in the Beaujester fandom (whether you ship Im/odna or not), is still dealing with all that shitty baggage from C2. And I think we ALL deserve a chance to gloat. We’ve been fucked around with and stomped on far too much. We should get something good.

However, if I am proven wrong, that doesn’t mean that I’m gonna suddenly fall in love with CR again. I’m not gonna give CR props, I’m not gonna watch C3, I’m not gonna buy merch, I’m not gonna start praising the cast and fawning over everything they say and do. I’m not gonna praise Marisha and Laura for finally committing to something. THAT would a bridge too far. If CR does something good for once, great. But I’m not gonna feel good for them. Why am I still here?

For the people asking why I am still here (implying I’m in the TTTE-fandom):

I just want to make it clear once and for all: I am NOT in the TTTE-fandom and have no desire to go back. I don't want anything to do with my past stuff, it has been explained in my final blog post about it and I have nothing more to add. I want to move on and never see it again.

I actively block people on DA, even if I don’t know them, so my feed won’t get flooded with TTTE content, because DA obviously think that just because I like trains, then I MUST like TTTE too. Most TTTE content makes me sick. So well... even if writing that shitty fic and au helped me overcome some trauma, it also gained me another...

And no: I have not drawn anyone being impaled, genitals on trains or train-sex (unless you count kissing as sex...). And I certainly have NOT made a sex-doll of a TTTE-character. I don’t know why people are piling that shit on me too, isn’t my old, deleted content bad enough in its own? At least have the decency not to blame me for things I didn’t do.

As for my old content: Do I regret writing that fic? No, it helped me cope with trauma. Do I regret posting it? Yes. Very. I had no idea people would get so hung up in it with all the other vile TTTE content from other users floating around. Am I looking for forgiveness? No. I know people won’t forgive me anyway. All I want is to put it all behind me and move on. I don’t want anything to do with my old stuff. It’s like breaking up with an ex, you don’t want to see them again after all the pain they caused you.

you know what, even if some random woman was a gold digger or straight up admitted that she enjoys self-objectifying herself , ( bare with me here since I’m not gonna get into the details of how these type of women are born under the patriarchy or men’s ignorance of this) none of these things will ever EVER justify the absolute vile shit that men do to dehumanize these women as “ payback.”

Like you cannot conflate a women who wants lots of money ( maybe even just financial stability ) to some dude who literally sees another human being ( women) as a walking fleshlight. One of these things is needed to live a good enjoyable life in a capitalist society ( money) while the other is one is for ones own personal pleasure ( sex),and it’s not a necessity for your survival. And I can’t believe I have to emphasize the obvious but someone using you for your money vs your body are nowhere equally as bad or traumatizing. Plus, to add another layer to this, under the current patriarchal society that we live in men inherently view sex as an act of domination and degradation towards women, where women are shunned just for even desiring sex. A “ gold digging” women cannot cause the same physical or psychological trauma as the average man that uses women as a sex doll, especially when society will shame her just for participating in sexual relations with a man.

As for women objectifying themselves it makes no sense for men to act to sadistic and obsessive towards women they claim are unappealing to them. Men will acknowledge that these women are deeply insecure and need validation for their looks yet will still seek out these women and ridicule them instead of minding their own business and solely reserving their attention to the “ classy” women that they find acceptable to partner with. Instead these hypersexualized women are compartmentalized ass a sub-category of women that are acceptable for men to act out their most twisted, violent misogynistic, sexual fantasies on. Men will point fingers at these women, and victim blame like there’s no tommorow ,telling the world that since a particular group of women act like “ sluts” then their appropriate punishment is to treat these women like “dirty whores”. They’ll claim that this is justice instead of an excuse to indulge in their own depraved rape fantasies. They offer no compassion or help for misguided women who are self-harming through being hyper-sexual but instead deem them ass a group of people whom it’s acceptable to abuse.

Men are absolute monsters and I will never ever comprehend their cruelty towards women. In the past I didn’t, now I don’t, and I highly doubt I’ll understand it in the future. Even as a young girl who didn’t know much about feminism I didn’t understand why men would make jokes about prostitutes, painting them in a bad light but never said anything negative about the men who visited them. Having no background knowledge of how women ended up in prostitution, I still saw their humanity where men couldn’t and I’d feel nauseous whenever I’d hear the men around me make degrading jokes about prostitutes.

I also observed women on social media everywhere who participated in their own self-objectification, and although I thought it was distasteful, I never felt the hatred towards these women in the same way men did. As a SSA woman even when I saw the occasional attractive man that would post cringey attention seeking thirst straps, I would simply find it a turn off and moved on whilst men on the other hand would act obsessive and harass their female counterparts who did the same thing.

My point here is ( before this gets too long) is that even without knowing the context of or background of these “ bad” women, their existence and behavior never warranted the vitriol and hatred men have for them. Instead of pretending that these “ bad” women don’t exist in the superficial way that men will perceive them ( meaning that men will see hyper-sexualized women but pay no attempt to understanding why they exist) I think it’s good to consider that even if women behaved this way with no explanation conveniently on hand, men should still be dragged to hell for even thinking that their sadistic behavior towards women is in any way acceptable under any circumstances.

Everybody was getting new materials or trying to get some rest, but I couldn’t sit still. I passed by Tommy as he slept against the lmantree, making my way on.

I was just walking alongside the hill, moonlight shining bright while this cold night sent shivers all over my body.

I noticed a figure in the distance up the large hill, it’s just sitting there. The closer I got the clearer the it got. It was a male with a green hoodie with a brown belt over his shoulders.

The male specimen had blonde fluffy hair with faint curls and a white mask laying down beside him, a glowing purple Neitherite helmet sitting on his lap.

Dream.. The man who’s brought me hell.

Who knew a man who gave me a shelter and food with a kind smile could be so vile and cruel when you despise him.

A fucking tyrant.

I went up to him and sat next to the American,

“hey” I said out of nowhere.

I saw as he jumped just a little but then spawned in his enchanted sword into his hand gripping it so tight that his knuckles turned white.

“What are you doing here?” He asked with pure spite in his voice. “Aren’t we friends Dream?” I replied with a question and a goofy grin on my face.

He looked at me his emerald green eyes just staring into my soul.

“Friends? You tried to kill me 3 times! In my sleep should I add... You also stole my fingerless gloves which your wearing right now.”

He glared at me reaching for my hand to steal the gloves back but I slapped his hand away. “Don’t touch me” I punch his shoulder.

“Why don’t you give me 2 reasons why I shouldn’t kill you,” He said looking straight into my eyes, the porcelain mask staring right through me. I shivered at the thought, memories floating back into my head from time ago.

I stepped forward, fidgeting with my fingers, poking at him in the chest, “Because Dream, sorry no Clay, I loved you once,” I stared up at the freakishly tall figure,

“Except, you had to fucking ruin that.” I shouted, tears threatening to slip down my cheeks. A resemblance of guilt faded through his skin, but yet he kept a tight face.

“Yeah I messed stuff up but then you went and betrayed me!” “I didn’t betray shit.”

“Your the one who left me”

My voice cracked a little at the end, those demeaning cries managing to get through, “What do you want me to say?” He put his hand on mine once again but this time I didn’t move it.

“An apology Clay, that’s all I’ve ever fucking wanted from you,” my gaze adverted to the ground, shaking at what will once be our final confrontation.

“You know I can’t-“

Those last words shooting me right in the heart, an arrow to the chest as I feel myself metaphorically falling back. My head against the ground as I look up at the sky, cursing at its every name.

“I know, but I was just hoping, praying that you had some sort of remorse in your body. Let’s stick to fighting each other, because clearly that’s what we do best!” I dusted off my Lmanburg jacket, composing myself to a stable state.

Then therefore on I walked, I continued my journey on the wooden path. His stare burning into my back yet he stayed silent.

I've once again had 6 hours to process everything I saw in season 4 so I'm just gonna say my thoughts on it (hold onto your fedoras again folks)

first off, WE FOUND OUT GRAY'S LAST NAME?? I was so shocked and happy at the same time I love how everyone asked for player's real name and we ended up with gray's surname for some reason shsjsj. NOBODY ASKED FOR THAT BUT THEY DELIVERED ANYWAY

ALSO GRAHAM IS AN ORPHAN?? my precious boy *throws mommy's boy headcanon out the window*

the second episode really had me shipping carmivy they're so cute we got a girl's trip and I'm all for it

I think I may now be a dash haber stan but let's not make a big thing of it

also ivy eating the chocolate in the middle of a mission deserves an honorable mention because of her cute little tongue (I'm weird okay djsjsjs)

zack trying to bond with shadowsan and him having none of it was delightful

that fucking robot god damn bellum really thought of everything didn't she every time I thought it was gone it made a come back I literally said out loud "carmen is so fucked"

I SWEAR TO GOD EVERY TIME GRAY TALKED ABOUT CARMEN I KEPT THINKING HE WAS GONNA SAY "BECAUSE I LOVE HER" IN WHICH CASE I WOULD HAVE DIED AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY

yall have no idea how relieved I was when I found out that photo of julia was her and her (presumably) mother and NOT a boyfriend sjsjsjs

catch me making a headcanon that julia has a single mom because her father disowned her for coming out as gay based on that picture alone 😭

OKAY BUT WHEN THEY WERE IN JULIA'S OFFICE AND CARMEN SAID "WAY TO FOLLOW YOUR HEART JULES" AND SHE WAS LIKE "YOU REMEMBERED" I LOST IT WHAT DID CARMEN REMEMBER JULES?? DID THEY HAVE A CONVERSATION OFF SCREEN? MAYBE I'M JUST A BIG HUGE LESBIAN BUT THAT'S A BIT GAY LADIES

carmen getting all worried when julia wasn't answering her phone was the blessed gay content I signed up for PLEASE THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER SO MUCH

never thought I'd say this but I loved devineaux this season he was funny, he improved his treatment towards julia (I don't recall him officially apologising I must have missed something djsjsjs)

the only thing I didn't like was it kinda seemed like they were trying to hint that chase and jules were into each other and I didn't really vibe with that

all that shit with dr bellum and the crown for cleo really had me thinking cleobellum was gonna be canon what a clown I am (seriously tho the way she lost it when the crown got stolen GIVE IT BACK IT BELONGS TO HER WIFE)

look all I'm saying is: tigress new outfit in the egypt episode was hot

HER FACE AT THE END AFTER SHE GOT TRAPPED WITH ALL THOSE BUGS

I wish julia and gray could have met there's so much friendship potential there 😭

EVIL CARMEN WAS REALLY SOMETHING ELSE I WAS SO SCARED SHE'D BE STUCK LIKE THAT FOREVER

I mentioned this in another post but when julia was like "don't you remember me? I'm your girlfriend friend, jules" I NEARLY FUCKING CRIED THEY WERE GETTING KINDA CLOSE AND THEN CARMEN GOT MIND WIPED

JULIA TOPS JULIA TOPS I SAID IT ALL ALONG AND IT'S TRUE SHE REALLY PINNED VILE CARMEN THAT'S TOP BEHAVIOR (also this now makes carmen a bottom I don't make the rules)

kinda shocked that paper star was hardly here I don't stan her so it didn't bother me much but still it was just strange they didn't use her this season

when shadowsan whipped out the last doll and carmen had all those flashbacks to when she was at vile I nearly started crying AGAIN

I LEGIT THOUGHT CARMEN HAD KILLED GRAY DJSJSJS AN ELECTRICIAN GETTING ELECTROCUTED THAT'S SOME IRONY RIGHT THERE

gray really confused me towards the end he kept switching sides every five minutes for the whole season I wasn't sure whether to trust him half the time dhshsjs

THE LOOK ON CARMEN'S FACE WHEN SHE THOUGHT SHE'D KILLED GRAY WAS SO HEARTBREAKING AND THEN SHE STARTED CRYING OH MY GOD I'M SORRY BABY

the way she's always been against hurting people/taking lives and then she ended up hurting all the people she loves (she nearly killed zack for god sake) really hit me hard

gray's ending was... kinda weird I understood the parallel of him not wanting to complicate carmen's life like she said about him in season 2 but it was still kinda strange that they didn't have one more conversation or get any closure

I'm obviously kinda upset that carulia wasn't canon they had so much potential imo and the show isn't about romance anyway BUT I'm happy with the content we got and THEY FLIRTED SO MUCH THEY'RE CANON IN MY HEART

THE TEAM RED GROUP HUG KILLED ME IT WAS SO CUTE

kinda annoyed that carmen just straight up left zack and ivy she really just left a note and said YEET

ivy's voice crack when she read the note got me all choked up

ngl I'm still not entirely sure how it ended I had to rewatch it a few times to understand what they were trying to imply sjsjsj

would have loved to know carmen's given name but at the same time she's literally THE carmen sandiego that's who she is, it would be silly to go by a name that she doesn't connect with just because her parents gave her it

her mom being a regular citizen was kinda bittersweet I mean a plot twist would have been good but at the same time it would make the story even more complicated

*dreams of a spinoff movie where we get better closure on everything*

ACME IVY ACME IVY I'M NOT AN IVY STAN BUT DAMN IF I AIN'T SIMPING FOR ACME IVY

I know carmen didn't want revenge but I feel like chief got let off with killing her father way too quickly if I'm honest sjsjsj

JULIA BEING IN CHARGE OF FINDING CARMEN'S MOM OH MY GOSH

I feel so bad for laughing when julia got knocked out the way the cloth fell on her head sent me but when the pole hit her head I was like "OKAY I TAKE IT BACK THIS ISN'T FUNNY ANYMORE"

was not expecting julia to physically fight anyone I mean she's always been so calm and collected and then this season she was like fuck it might as well hit a few people before we finish forever

wishing carmen and jules could have hugged or had a scene together where they talked about stockholm but I won't complain it wouldn't have really made sense anyway considering they were cool with each other at the university

so glad the trailer was misleading about the coach brunt situation I really didn't want her to get a last minute redemption

another honorable mention: cleo snapping at julia "DON'T YOU DARE IMPLY THAT I AM COMMON" sent me djdjs she was just stood there like "I am but a humble history lesbian leave me be"

I think that's everything I'll probably add to it later if I think of anything or I might make a part 2 djsjsjs (I've been writing this for almost an hour now 😭)

overall I enjoyed it from start to finish. I haven't really cried about it ending yet I'm still processing everything but I'll probably have a little sob when it finally hits me djsjsjs
