i love nine hes so. baby. im assuming u watched sonic prime so im just gonna go off

i love nine because just the idea the kinda person tails would be if no one ever gave him a chance. just like rolling that thought around in my head. poor guy. just a guy whos got no loyalty to any one because he only knows how to look out for himself since no one else would.

also that idea that the paradox prism split the characters into different aspects of themselves. so theres a piece of the real tails that has this bitterness internalized that he doesn't acknowledge or bring up to others. makes me uhhhhahgsgs.

this next parts purely theorizing because we still got no part 2 so:

sonic prime seems to be implying nines got some master plan in store and *perhaps* that he might take on an antagonist role in the future which im all here for. like sonic being nice to him doesn't just resolve all his issues. he's still hurt and wants to lash out. he's just baby to me.

also might think that sonic's insistence on being best friends might lead to some resentment since like. nines' supposed to be sonics best friend but sonics always insisting that they help people that have nothing to do with them. and nine doesn't know what its like to look out for others so he just doesn't get it. i could see nine of accusing sonic of only seeing their relationship as transactional since so far nines only heard from sonic how he has to help him and others. that would be a fun conflict i can be normal about.

On the other hand, in Honey Queen the Queen is referred to as a witch, pulling all the (honey) strings, talents are way beyond obscene, which are all things that can allude to Holloway

We have no idea how old she is but the pageant has been around for 75 years, and there's a chance she'd already moved to Hatchetfield at that time

They also mention a fate worse than death. Holloway is immortal (in a way, like she does die but it doesn't last so we're rolling with inmortal), which can be considered a fate worse than death especially if you've been around for a while

Not only that, but her nightmare time is the Starlight Theatre. Which could connect her to Pokey, but the Starlight is where the pageant itself is held, where the Queen is crowned, where some other contestants may or may not have died

Basically, what if Holloway was a Honey Queen, made a deal with Nibbly in order to not get eaten, in exchange for her entire can't be dead for longer than a few hours/everything about your past is instantly forgotten by everyone/having to switch aliases every 15 years-ordeal?

Random magic question: do you think someone could be a spirit healer and blood mage? (In world, not mechanically) I feel like in world it’s always implied they’re incompatible, but really they come from the sane source, what with spirits and demons essentially just being different forms of the same thing.

I thinking of an Amell/Surana spirit healer with a spirit of compassion that turns into a demon of vengeance around templars, but I’m not sure if that works? The spirit/demon combo is definitely wip

if the blood magic and the spirit healing are from separate sources, then the blood magic is only required to be taught once and doesn’t require constant demonic involvement. (or any at all, if it’s taught by another blood mage instead.) so the only obstacle is finding spirits that are willing to aid you despite any perceived corruption

i think for a spirit healer/blood mage relying on one creature that is both spirit and demon or on a nebulous line, you’d have to break down, like, what it even is that makes a demon capable of teaching blood magic. unless all spirits can, but only demons have the inclination? because spirits tend to have a black and white aversion to demons and a very hard time conceptualising grey areas, so having and using apparently demonic abilities—whether that’s teaching blood magic or going vengeance on templars—are going to distress it a lot. whether or not you believe spirits can have more mutable identities that can jump back and forth, if it’s anything like any other spirit we’ve seen, it’s going to jump to the conclusion that it’s one or the other and react badly to any suggestion to the contrary

So recently I've been seeing a lot of posts that mention Luigi being an amazing poker player (which makes sense because I remember and have played all those Luigi poker mini-games on the DS as a kid), but one idea I don't think anyone has touched on yet (at least not from what I've seen) is the cute idea of Luigi teaching Bowser how to play poker and how to keep a straight face whenever things go or don't go in the Koopa King's favor.

Ok but learning more about Ed this season makes it so obvious why he fell so hard for Stede. Cuz Stede is just so himself, and genuine in it, and i think that's something Ed must value so much.

And like because Ed spent his whole life masking around unsafe people, performing as Blackbeard, he probably doesn't quite know how to do that, be genuine. That's why he keeps saying he doesn't know who he is.

And then along comes Stede who is nothing but himself, can't really be anything else. And that's like a breath of fresh air to Ed, not just because of who Stede is and how he makes him feel, but because meeting Stede makes him realize that dropping all the masks he wears is even possible.

And that's why the more Stede tries to be someone else, the less safe and seen Ed feels.

i think she is the most beautiful person. she reminds me of the ocean in both its worse days and its best days. how sometimes when you’re near the ocean you feel calm and happy. and life is nice and quiet because its right there. but also how sometimes the ocean is terrifying and you don’t know how to handle it. because now it’s storming and its ugliest comes out during this. but she’s still beautiful throughout all of it. cause it’s her and she’s there and she makes me feel better about myself, and i hope i make her feel better about herself too.

ok so. tma au where everyone has pokemon. concept: martin starts off with an eevee, who ends up a glaceon by the end of season 4 and slowly evolves alongside martin’s descent into the lonely. it doesnt immediately evolve, it slowly changes shape and color and slowly learns ice moves as martin goes less and less visible, and stays curled around his feet even in the center of the lonely as jon tries to pull him out.

lived my whole life in guilt bc i thought i was responsible for people's feelings. newly realizing that other people are responsible for their feelings and reactions, even if they make it seem like i'm the problem. a lot of the time it really has to do w them and their own emotional regulation. i can't keep thinking i'm not allowed to have space bc of other people's insecurities. like i literally refuse to dim myself. other people are responsible for their feelings just as i'm responsible for mine.

the obsession with aesthetic-izing everything is a disease that companies have sold us via influencers. it's all about turning your private space into a perfect backdrop for videos and photos, everything has to be a soundstage to market a product. making you view your own private space like a voyeur, already imagining the comments people might leave if your home isn't what they deem ideal. your fridge does not need to be aesthetically pleasing, you don't need to empty out spices from plastic packaging into a glass jar of the exact same size of the original packaging. not everything has to be pinterest goals. there is so little time, just live life.
