I wish Doctor Locklear was a more popular creepypasta. I’d be really interested in playing a Good Doctor Locklear game.

Gameplay somewhat similar to Hitmen or Watchdogs, where you have to carefully identify and track down your victims without being caught. You’re never quite given all the facts, and instead have to use your deductive reasoning skills to figure out who’s guilty. If you kill someone innocent your sanity goes down, and if you kill too many innocent people you get a game over. If you get caught in the act it’s game over. If you don’t get the organs in time to preform the life-saving surgery, it’s game over. Edit: Elaborating  on this cause now I desperately want it. The game goes through cycles -- you’re introduced to a patient and given a time limit to preform the surgery before they’re past the point of saving. You’re introduced to a handful of possible targets, and you need to scope each one out to collect evidence and piece together clues about which one is a violent criminal. They all have records, but most of them were either acting in self-defense or committed a nonviolent crime. If you choose wrong, you take a blow to your sanity, which makes it harder to blend in and think critically -- you’ll have to try harder to find clues, and things will start to be blurry or jumbled up. As your sanity dips lower you start to hallucinate that you’re being haunted by your dead wife and child, and then you’ll be assaulted by the ghosts of the people you killed. The screen gradually starts to flicker between the real world and a gory steampunk version where everything is flesh and metal, making it even harder to see clues and find evidence.  There’s a social element to the game, where you have to build relationships with civilians and even police officers in order to improve your reputation and make them sympathetic towards you. You do this by taking side quests. If people are sympathetic towards you, they’ll help cover your tracks, hide you in their houses, and even offer you money, materials, and evidence they’ve found.  As you progress in the game you unlock new abilities and items, like improved strength to more easily carry unconscious bodies, or the tools to make your own tranquilizers so you no longer have to buy them off the black market.  You can play on story mode, in which case there’s a set number of surgeries to preform and the ending changes depending on your sanity, how many innocents you killed, your relationships with other people, and your overall reputation. Or you can play open world, in which case you get to just go around coming up with increasingly inventive ways to track down and organ-harvest from criminals.

My canon was pretty adherent to actual canon, but I remember later on how me and Berdie ended up close. evander locklear (good doctor locklear) headcanons please?! Cuz I really like him heh

(I had to read his story to get a good grip on the character.)

Though his practices are... unethical, Evander knows what he’s doing and is good at his job.

Due to his occupation, he doesn’t smoke or drink and will ask his patients to do the same.

He’s quite a pleasant person to talk to if he deems you a good person (He’s quite handy with background checks and the like). Though, if he finds out you have a record, he will grill you on it, and you better be honest. He hates it when people lie to him.

Unlike a lot of the other medical Creepypastas, he will do everything in his power to keep you healthy if you’re a good person.

He has a huge soft spot for children. He’ll protect them like they’re his own kids.

If you’re a bad guy, you won’t see the light of day again. You already sealed your fate. Evander will tourture you slowly, painfully, and skillfully. He’ll keep you alive through the whole process as he slices you open. He’ll avoid major arteries and pressure points so you can feel every slice and cut. He’ll comment on your care (or lack thereof) of your body and chew you a new one until he finally lets you die as he extracts each useful organ, leaving behind damaged ones. He’ll always extract the heart last.

Are madame Macabre's Evander Locklear and your Nathan the Nobody working together? I saw a piece (can't remember if you drew it or a fan did) that looked like they were engaged in a game of chess. Neither looked malicious and I just had to ask.

That was me ^^! Canonically no, but for my own HC I see those two matching in wits.

I love the idea of a battle between them as more brains then brawn.

(Too bad I am kind of a potato so I can't show off how intellectual Nathan actually is xD ) I can see them working together as well, Nathan had a grudge against the human traffickers and the organization that took his sister away. And with Locklear repurposing criminals for a good cause. Its a two birds one stone deal.

Plus I am sure Nathan wouldn't mind having a slight mentor and mentoree relationship so to speak. As I can see his alignment agreeing with Dr. Locklears.

i feel really bad for being kin with Doctor Evander Locklear because everyone sees me as a psycopathic murderer but i only ever killed criminals that were released because of a messed up law system! and i just found that my creator, Madame Macabre, has not only said that im a "narcissistic sociopath" (which isnt necesarrily a bad thing but in the society we have it just feels really insulting and wrong) but also that she isnt 100% okay with people being kin with Locklear like ??? i cant choose!
