Angst Idea: After the prank, Taran feels worse about himself and thinks everyone else hates him which is untrue but he doesn't know this. Peter sees how bad Taran is feeling and regrets his actions. Taran runs away and discovers a plot by Chanticleer the Rooster [from the scrapped Disney movie Chanticleer], and Julius the Cat [Alice Comedies] to destroy all of the Disney characters using a power Crystal Cauldron, which can tear apart the fabric of space and time. Taran ultimately sacrifices himself and the Disney characters mourn him, but their care for him brings him back to life!

Someone who might sees this, I’m sure they’ll do something about it, because that means I have to do another special one and I’m still stilling working on the first one and season 2

The Black cauldron was the scariest Disney movie little me had seen but morbid little me loved it and rewatched it constantly

I'm ONLY counting the films from the Walt Disney Animation Studios line-up between 1967 (after The Jungle Book) and 1989 (before The Little Mermaid). There's some debate on what this era of Disney animation is called, so I went with both titles I tend to hear a lot. I feel like this poll requires a fairly niche audience since a lot of these are (sadly) forgotten.

I think Disney should go back to the era where they just straight up murdered the villain at the end of the film.

Just two monster husbands enjoying Disney’s Gibson Girl Ice Cream. Tried something new and it came out a bit nostalgic, since I’ve sat in the window seat when I went a while back.

THE BLACK CAULDRON WAS HEAVILY FEATURED IN ONCE UPON A STUDIO!!!

I swear, there is a disney exec out there that secretly loves this movie and wants to give us crumbs whenever possible. Either that or they're trying to us the IP enough that people don't riot for them to relinquish their rights.

But Gurgi was sung to by Pocahontas, Eilonwy was included in the same shot as Snow White, Mulan and Asha!

In the final photo we can see Taran holding Hen, with Eilonwy and Fflewdur, then with the Horned King in the back. Gurgi is on the plane's wing and I believe the character to the right of him is in fact Creature. Like... WHAT. Y'all this is insane. So, so happy they are using this amazing series for what it's worth.

Like a lot of the Disney couples, I love when it's two kids in a relationship. It makes it extra sweet, and kids love in such a fun and nice way that it's hard not to smile when thinking of it. They likely think that their love will last forever, whether or not it actually does.

Eilonwy and Alexander's personalities also mesh incredibly well. Alexander is kind, quiet, if not a little troublesome (in a cute way). Eilonwy is smart, level-headed, and headstrong. It turns a usual relationship on its head, but is very neat to see. They likely would get along irl, so the ship works quite well.

Alongside that, if Eilonwy likes animals like many Disney leading girls, they could meet and fall in love while Alexander is still a donkey. Could even make for a fun AU where she attempts to help him become human again, so they can truly be together (not that she couldn’t be with him in donkey form, just that he can't talk like that).

They are a very interesting couple, for sure. It's always nice seeing the other Disney characters getting love, and not just the popular princesses. I only wish we could've seen Alexander as a human for longer so we'd have more to go off for them.
