This one's a bit wild ig so bear with me ok??! It's fluffy too and non toxic I think. I hope. Pls tell me this isn't somehow creepy I'm sorry if it is skskdkkd

SO- Aventurine × Ena! Reader.

Ena being ofc, the Gaiathra Triclops. In this version, even though everyone believes Ena was assimilated into Xipe, that's not what really happened - Ena instead made a deal with Xipe, trusting the Harmony to uphold Order, and willingly gave up their path and power as an Aeon, choosing to reincarnate as a mortal. And before they gave up their power, they did two last things: first, guarantee that their reincarnation would regain at least some knowledge of their previous life, i.e knowing that they were an Aeon before. And second, give out one last blessing to one of the people they watched over - Kakavasha.

Ena goes on to reincarnate (I'm thinking something like the Dan Heng/Dan Feng situation, so reader has dreams of their previous memories and such, but is a completely different person to who Ena was), and Reader!Ena lives a pretty tranquil life as a mortal - while Kakavasha goes through hell, and loses faith in the Gaiathra Triclops. I haven't given much thought to how they meet, but maybe Ena!Reader goes to Penacony out of curiosity for what a land presided by Harmony is like (given that they know they used to be the Aeon of Order, and that they had previously chosen to entrust Harmony with their path.) and they run into Aventurine there - and they just know. They can feel Ena's blessing on him, and they're immediately drawn to him.

Getting to know each other, creating a bond, trusting each other until Aventurine can open up about his past with them, and reader reveals their identity, and suddenly everything changes for him - he wasn't abandoned by his God, but rather they'd given him their final blessing before they passed - and reader has this strong urge to cherish and protect him, not because he's the child blessed by Ena, but because they've fallen for him. The complicated relationship they'll have to sort out where Kakavasha feels like Reader is a gift sent by Gaiathra, while Reader cherishes and worships him like he's the divine one. Aventurine being loved unconditionally and cherished for the first time, being basically worshiped by the Reader.. being treated like he's the most precious thing in the world, being looked at with pure love and adoration. The hurt, the confusion, the fear of being loved.. maybe reader can have some issues too and be so wholly devoted they'd do anything for him, no matter how much it might harm them, just to add a bit more trouble to work on.

I don't think I'll ever actually write any of my ideas (even though I do have a writing blog lmao) bc I'm too insecure about my writing and my inspiration bursts are too inconsistent, but thank you for reading my silly thoughts and letting me share them lol I really appreciate it, especially bc you're one of my favorite writers here <3

I DONT THINK ITS CREEPY AT ALL!! I adore reincarnation romances and I have a particular fondness for reincarnated deity romances. It would be so interesting to see Aventurine process this news. I really like the phrase you used wrt "the fear of being loved" - I think Aventurine would suffer very, very intensely from this fear under regular circumstances with a human. I can only imagine the state of panic he'd be in if he were the object of affection of the god who supposedly forsook him. augflgsjsk it would be so juicy... reader too I'm sure they're full of many complicated feelings just like dan heng is (I bet the two of them would be besties)

Blog update !

It's been a while since I didn't post one but so many things happened in my life lately and this has been affected my blog so ...

Life update : I didn't want to talk about this at first but this is really the main reason of basically every changes lately ... My dad is very ill (stage 4 cancer) and he can't recover from it so .... My life has changed a bit since I got the news. I don't sleep as I used to, I'm helping my parents as much as I can and I also have a new job+ the new appartment reseach that are a bit exhausting mentally. I've been trying to do everything for the best but I also realised that I spent my last weekends just relaxing and hanging out with friends because I really needed an escape from all the daily stress and bad thoughts about my dad's illness. Working on Melodia helps me a lot but lately, as it's one of my number 1 issue : I don't have a lot of storage capacity on my computer which makes Photoshop impossible to open :'(

Blog update : Considering that, I'm still working on Melodia but I just have to pause the posting for a moment T_T So far, you're not a lot to read it so this also will give time to the ones who still have to catch up with the story. I hope to be able to post again very soon but for now I guess I can just enjoy the new pack I didn't discover yet. I hope to not have to wait a long time without being able to work on DH because I really live doing it so far ! If you want to see some gameplay pics, don't hesitate to ask :)

Kirin's childhood:

Adrian: My version of Kirin's big brother. He is his #1 fan and works at the mines for Aramis Stilton.

Marisol: Adrian's girlfriend at the time. Due to HHH unfortunate incidents, she'll leave Karnaca and go to Morley, only to come back around 25 years later with her new husband.

Ivanoe: Kirin's 'rival', he hated him so much. He's the only one in the friends group that actually disliked him (Kirin killed the cat he was taking care of so yeah).

Onésime: He was the Curator at the Conservatory, but before that, he was a teacher at the Academy. He was glad a young spirit like Kirin would be so interested by all that.

Ya-Hui (/Grace): Actual teacher at the Academy. She's always been by Kirin's side, until the Unfortunate Event. She taught him some bits of violin and made him growing fond of music even more.

Caleb (all 3 games): He was an Overseer, but to protect his sister (Abigail, below) he took her place and went to jail (not long before DH1 events). He'd eventually be given the chance to join the navy, but no one expected him to last this long.

Abigail (all 3 games): Witch doomed by the narrative. As you can imagine, being the sister of an Overseer was a bit complicated. Her love for the witches led her to places where she shouldn't have been.

Jennifer (all 3 games): Whaler OC, girlfriend of Abigail - a witch and a whaler was quite the duo too. They love each other dearly, despite everything.

Sybill (all 3 games): She lived on the streets with her sister, but the later got into the Golden Cat. Meanwhile, Sybill joined the Bottle Street Gang. She's the Sherlock Holmes of Dishonored.

Archibald (DH1/DH2): My first DH OC, he was supposed to be the one helping Corvo, but I ended up with the son instead (Vincent, below). He helped Sybill and worked with the City Watch.

Vincent (DH2): #1 fan of Jindosh in Dishonored events. He helps Corvo and works under cover with the Howlers.

Aldina (DH2/DOTO+): Her family are/were (for spoilers reasons) nobility in Karnaca, and had connections with the Duke, but Aldina always hated old men and find them boring. She wanted to become a witch, but Kirin found her instead and took her in his mansion to teach her things.

Nelly (DH2/DOTO+): She works for Jindosh, and takes care of Aldina too.

Octave (DOTOish): Marisol's husband. He's an artist from Morley, and works with Jindosh on the cinema and cartoon.

Sinclair (/Camille) (DOTO+): Singer at the opera, but they're into theater plays too. Their scene name is Camille Butterfly. They had the chance to play the Outsider from time to time.

Rosario (DOTO+): New Curator at the Conservatory. I still need to work a bit on them.

my replay of dishonored is on hold as I work on college and volunteering stuff (and being sick... 24/7 lmao), but I've been deep-diving old, old blogs and finding dishonored posts from 2012-2013, before even Knife of Dunwall came out, and man, the nostalgia... the energy from everyone theorizing and coming up with these intricate headcanons to fill the gaps in canon lore and character backstory...

I still have next to no knowledge of DH2 so IDK if that or DOTO ever gets into why The Outsider chooses the people he does for his mark, but I've been thinking again about the old theory that it's people who have the most possible divergent timelines, and thus the greatest possible effect over the timelines of everyone around them (and I know Deathloop was confirmed as being part of the DH universe? Multiverse?? So hmmm)

and like if you consider Daud in that context... how the Outsider lost interest in him for years... only to become interested in him again after he assassinates Jessamine and thus completely upends life for EVERYONE IN DUNWALL... and really sets Corvo down the timeline where he has such extraordinary potential to wreak havoc across untold futures with any single choice he makes. Daud's own possible futures must have stagnated for YEARS because he got set on a very routine existence. and they only widen when his life intersects and impacts Corvo, who ultimately has the greatest impact on Daud's futures himself

idk where i'm going with this i'm just ramblingggggggggg but wow corvodaud is gay isn't it. truly destined to completely destroy and remake one another's lives with a single thrust of a sword (but what if they thrusted something ELSE)

What are you working on now?

I’m finishing up an extremely niche birthday fic for Bek. I may or may not post that third epilogue to Blackmailed. I’d like to continue Draco’s Body, for another chapter. Long fic: I’m also working on Butterfly, my evil author’s day submission.

Are you writing any original fiction?

No. I love my day job and fanfiction is purely an escapist outlet for my creativity where I am beholden to no one but myself. Writing original fiction would defeat the purpose.

Yes, sometimes! I post here on tumblr, and I post my art on AO3 and instagram.

Your parents really read your smut?

Yes. Yes they did. It was a very wholesome experience and I live blogged it! My kids also know that I write fanfiction, everyone is very supportive. It feels good not to hide my hobby! (that being said, no one at my work knows, that’s a bridge too far)

Why don’t I see you on the Room of Requirement discord?

When I was new to fandom and social media and still figuring things out, I got cyberbullied by those authors and a couple of the admins, artists and podficcers highlighted there. After taking my words from (what I thought were) interesting, friendly conversations out of context, one of the soon-to-be RoR admins incited a cybermob with those authors. They targeted me on the Dragon Heart String discord server and ostracized me in the few weeks following in an attempt to push me out of fandom. But I didn’t leave, I stood up for myself and explained how my words were misconstrued.

After the initial shock, the mods and those that unwittingly participated in the cyber mob apologized. The one that instigated it all was a DHS mod at the time. She never apologized and her mod status was removed. In an attempt to understand server dynamics, the other DHS mods surveyed the community, and it quickly became apparent that bullying was a rampant problem. Many server members were targeted before me, there and on other platforms. To try and stop it, the DHS mods closed down the author-based channels since the bullying stemmed from those authors and their friends and fans.

Many disagreed with the decision, and the RoR discord opened up a month later with those very same author-based channels that you see today. If you’re wondering why there isn’t much overlap between DHS and RoR, this is why. When I spoke up about my experience on reddit before, I didn’t want to name specific people and I still don’t. But I do think there’s value in warning folks off in a general sense. It’s truly appalling when adult women use their internet clout and lack of consequences to recreate the worst of middle school behavior. Like most moderated spaces, RoR has an anti-bullying policy, but the popular members behave as they choose. None of them have apologized to me or anyone else for their behavior.

Even to this day, they gossip about readers, writers, artists and each other. They bully people on RoR and other platforms. Their behavior has caused many artists, writers and readers to delete their accounts or leave the fandom. Some of the folks bullied by that group reached out to thank me for posting about my experience.

A Guide to My Fics

Innovation, E, WIP, 2/3 chapters posted, a short story written for Bek’s birthday full of snark, banter, sexual tension and hate sex

Summary: Draco and Hermione make each other miserable. But they come to an arrangement eventually.

Escape From Malfoy Manor, E, 70-100K, Choose Your Own Adventure, war AU.

Summary: Hermione wakes up in a prison cell with no memory of how she got there. Will she make it out alive? A fic/art collab with some friends designed to make you laugh, shriek in terror, bite your nails, cringe, and ponder your life choices. With over 35 delightfully gruesome ways for our favorite protagonists to die, this is a great Halloween read.

From Wiltshire, With Love, E, 350K, spy/handler war AU

Summary: Hermione convinces Draco to spy for the Order and she becomes his handler. But what are his true motivations? Hard to say when he's still figuring that out himself.

Shivering With Antici - SAY IT! - pation, E, 20K, smut and snark, an AU in the FWWL universe

Summary: Spying for the Order is taking its toll on Draco. To cheer him up, Hermione brings him to a midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show to participate in the virgin induction ceremony.

Draco is not amused.

Blackmailed, E, 48K, smut and snark, 7th year, a surprising plot and gut punch at the end

Summary: Draco finds out something pertaining to the war that Hermione would do anything to prevent from getting out. How far is she willing to go to protect her secret?

WINNER: 2022 Top Dramione Fics on Reddit 2nd Place Dom!Draco (but he's totally a switch here, as is Hermione)

Draco’s Body, E, 11K, demon!Draco, war AU, co-created with art from the amazing @doodleladi

Summary: The war rages on and changed Draco into something evil.

They All Taste the Same, E, 77K vampire war AU, this one has two endings, based on Hermione’s decision to become a vampire or not. One is MCD, one is HEA. Written in 2010, finished during the pandemic.

Summary: Draco has always wanted Hermione, but a recent change has him wanting her even more.

A Dish Best Served Cold, E, 56K, 8th year, smutty, trope-busting whodunnit, my first ever fanfiction, written in 2010.

Summary: Somebody is out to get Hermione. Draco gets caught in the middle, and doesn't mind at all!

The Gods Must Be Crazy, drabble collection for the Last Drabble Writer Standing Competition, Greek God prompts, each drabble has a different theme, plot, topic, genre. I highly recommend this competition. It’s good for meeting new friends, and improving your writing!

If you could have each book in the HP series narrated by a different character who would it be?

PS - Hagrid. Seeing his POV on 11-year-olf Harry, meeting Quirrel-Voldemort in a pub, Norberta etc etc.

CoS - alternating between Hermione and Ginny. Ginny dealing with the possession, and Hermione coming to terms with her Muggleborn status. Hermione reads like a child who comes from privilege - and it will be interesting to see how she grapples with Muggleborn politics. @bluethepineapple had a very interesting insight into Hermione's process in the Polyjuice plan, where she declares threatening Muggleborns (where the dialogue makes it sound like she isn't one of them) is worse than brewing a complicated potion. Here is what Blue had to say:

"Being in a position of vulnerability is brand new and it is really throwing her off. She does not know how to integrate it with her previous position of privilege. So she is in this weird in between place where she is acting on said privilege (ie. the position of protector) while having been inducted to a minority group. At this point in time, being a muggle-born is still something she feels separate from."

POA - alternating between Remus and Sirius. (passive aggressively reminding @thecat-isblogging-blog and @shes-a-gryffindor of our one shot ideas)

GOF - Barty Crouch Jr, Snape. Very interested in two contrasting figures who projected their father issues on Voldemort - but one is a reformed Death Eater seeing his dark mark growing clearer and clearer. I also want that 2 hour long conversation between Voldemort and Snape. @yletylyf has written a piece about this.

OOTP - Bill! Order member so would be privy to Order stuff, falling in love in between war, back in the country to take care of his family ...quite a lot of material to work with.

HBP - Draco and Snape. Snape living with knowledge of Dumbledore's incoming death, and Draco in over his head.

DH - Neville, Luna and Ginny's rebellion i. Hogwarts. The DA, basically.
