Hi, yes I did. (for fandom purposes anyway!)
And thank you! Reddit was my first (and only) socmed platform for several years, and I still find it better than any other platform for good, thorough discussion surrounding niche interests with surprising expertise coming out of the woodwork.
As for the dramione subreddit, I've been on there since the beginning of the pandemic when it had less than 3K subscribers! I have many good memories interacting with others there. It was so much fun to be nerdy with everyone and reddit was also where I made some close fandom friends that I now know IRL, and hang out with when work travel takes me to their cities.
After figuring out the different socmed platforms due to my fandom participation, and then opening up accounts everywhere, I've decided I've had my fill. Over the past year or so I've been pulling back from socmed participation (I also deleted my twitter and bluesky accounts a while back) and my FB account will be next on the chopping block, I just have few things to finish.
Socmed is a bit of a time suck and I'm not getting as much out of it as I used to - I was never a big socmed user prior to writing fanfiction anyway. But I met some good fandom friends and I'm happy with that. I intend on keeping discord, instagram for posting art, and tumblr for embedding art in my fics. :)
And of course, happy to communicate via DM on those platforms with anyone at anytime. :)
Thank you so much for asking. It's nice to be missed, and I'll miss it too. Although I might pop up on a burner account if @winterwells decides to Rickroll the subreddit or make a thread full of farting puns.
